Robin & Patrick #5  June 11 - November 28, 2007 - 8 hour original edit

Dvd #5A  After Robin hold's a patient's baby,  she speaks about the baby in a motherly way, scaring Patrick. Later, Patrick and Stan are at Jake's discussing women. Patrick says that he never wants to be a Dad. Robin, Lainey and Kelly show up and the five of them do shots. They talk about relationships and babies.

At Jake's, Robin tells Lainey, Kelly, Patrick and Stan that she does not spend her days dreaming about motherhood. Patrick tells her he likes children but that he likes his freedom. Kelly tells him that in this day, Robin doesn't need him to have her own baby. Stan comments that it's not ideal for a child to grow up with only one parent. He explains that he respects his mom, but also knows that the presence of a father would have made a difference. Robin and Patrick get cozy, and the crew sends them home. As they leave, they lament that it cannot last. At home, Robin and Patrick are about to make love and Patrick goes to get a condom. A tipsy Robin sarcastically asks if it's so she doesn't get pregnant. Patrick fixes Robin something to eat to try and help her with her inevitable hangover in the morning. Robin tries to convince him that a child is the furthest thing from her mind, but Patrick still seems paranoid about it. They decide to go to bed and hopefully not remember any of this conversation in the morning.

Patrick tells Robin that she can't admit that she is wrong unless she is having a crisis of conscience for blaming herself for something that is out of her control, that she wants to be the best and hates it when she isn't. Robin tells him that he holds life in his hands on a daily basis so he has to believe in his own greatness but warns him that it is fine line between being confident and totally obnoxious. He retorts that it is also a fine line between being knowledgeable and a know-it-all and its a line that she crosses on a daily basis. He promises that he doesn't hold it against her, that he thinks it is cute. She is totally annoyed and tells him that it isn't "cute" when he is obnoxious. He invites her to join him for a surgery and she excuses, "No thanks, I think I have had all of the 'greatness' that I can handle for one morning." They run into each other later and she notifies him that the patient is having surgery and he wonders who she has replaced him with? He is furious when she tells him that it was Noah and warns her to never go behind his back wtih his father again! She blasts him not to tell her what to do for one of her own patients and huffs off.

When she finds him reading the patient's chart, she tells him he has no business reading that chart since he has been replaced on the surgery. Patrick accuses her of being petty. She tells him that he is just being spiteful. He tells her that she replaced him on the case because he teased about not liking to be wrong and that she completely over-reacted and she should relax and learn how to take a joke. She says she should have consulted with him in the first place. She says she tries to avoid stupid pointless arguements and Patrick is all about competing with his father, that maybe deep down he is afraid that his father is a better surgeon and whatever the reason it is unprofessional. She continues that she avoids refering her patients to Noah out of loyalty to him because she knows it will bother him but that is over, that her patients deserve better. He insists that she referred this patient to his father to get back at him for their arguement and that is unprofessional and this all comes back to her inability to admit when she is wrong. He does admit to not completely trusting his father as a surgeon but he is glad that she doesn't share that same biasis. He surprises her when he admits that perhaps in his father's prime he may have been better than Patrick, so its not that he feels threathened by him now as a surgeon but if he messes up that it will reflect poorly on Patrick. She is touched that he is actually humble and admitted that maybe someone was better than him and leans in and kisses him.

At the hospital, everyone keeps looking at Noah oddly. A new doctor questions Robin as to whether or not Noah has a brother to which she replies that he does not. Later, when Noah is clearly aggravated, he questions the staff and Epiphany shows him a newspaper article. She tells him he looks exactly like an 80's rock star named Eli Love. Noah is furious that everyone thinks he looks like a famous rock star. Epiphany wants to know why he's so upset that people find his looks similar to a celebrity. Noah says he's worked very hard to become an acclaimed neurosurgeon. He doesn't want to be compared to someone who threw away his life for rock and roll. Epiphany is furious that he would say that about musicians and storms away. Robin walks up to Patrick and tells him that Stan helped her hack into the computer systems and got tickets to the concert tonight. Later, Noah, Patrick, and Robin all get paged by Epiphany. She tells them a story about how she used to go to concerts every week at a little spot in her hometown. One day she got there late and stopped in her tracks when she saw a band on stage all in matching suits. The lead singer was the finest man she had ever seen or has ever seen since then. She was determined to get his autograph, but a little girl tried to barge right past her. Epiphany ripped a chunk of the girl's hair out by the roots to put her in her place! Then she says that the singer gave her the opportunity of a lifetime, but she won't elaborate for the group. She just tells them that she won't hesitate to rip their hair out if they stand in her way, either!

Patrick gets out of the shower at the hospital and walks into the dressing area where three nurses are standing. Robin walks in as the nurses walk out, embarrassed. Patrick starts to explain that it was all innocent, but Robin tells him she's not jealous. Things happen. Patrick doesn't believe her that she's letting it go this easy. During a musical montage, Robin comes outside while Patrick watches fireworks and she flashes him.

Robin finds Patrick singing to himself while he is dressing in the locker room. Robin laughs at him when she realizes he is singing a song from the rock concert they saw the night before of Ely Love, the rock star who is a dead ringer for his father, Noah. They start kissing. Ms. Sneed, the director of Human Resources comes into the locker room and sees them kissing. She tells them that they are breaking new hospital rules about showing public displays of affection at the hospital. Robin and Patrick point out that the locker room is a private place and that they aren't kissing in front of anyone else or being unprofessional. Ms. Sneed disagrees with them and plans to report them to Dr. Ford. Noah shows up and asks what is going on? Patrick and Robin explain. Noah puts on the charm and talks Ms. Sneed into not reporting them but just giving them a warning instead. Noah realizes he still has got something that effects women still and boasts about it before he leaves.

Later, Patrick overreacts when Noah asks for a file on a patient that belongs to Patrick. Patrick refuses to let Noah give him any professional help with his patient which leads to a heated argument between father and son. Patrick sinks low when he brings up Noah's former bouts of drinking. The new student nurses witness the whole thing and think Patrick was acting like a jerk. Patrick realizes later that he was out of line with his father when he brought up his drinking during the argument. Robin suggests that he find his father and apologize to him. Patrick doesn't think that will be easy to do because of how he and his father react to each other and thinks one of them is going to have to leave the hospital. As they are talking, Epiphany calls to them that she just got a call that a patient was just brought in with a possible brain embolism. Patrick rushes over as the patient is wheeled off the elevator toward them. He thinks it is his father at first and checks his pulse. Noah comes over when he hears Patrick calling to him and asks what is going on. Patrick looks over and sees his father standing there perfectly fine and looks over at the patient and sees they look identical to each other.

While Patrick runs tests and preps the operating room, Eli wakes up and sees Noah. He says, "Either that was one hell of a party or I'm dead." Noah tells him he's not dead. He and Robin explain to him that he's in the hospital. Eli asks if he's hallucinating since there's a doctor that looks just like him. Patrick tells him, no, he's not hallucinating. He agrees that Noah looks like Eli, which Noah denies, much to Epiphany's delight. Patrick tells Eli that he will be treating him, but Noah wants to be his doctor. Patrick thinks poor Eli will think he's hallucinating every time he sees Dr. Drake Sr. He tries to get Robin to side with him, but Noah tells him to leave his girlfriend out of it. Another doctor ends up approaching the pair and telling them how much Eli and Noah look alike. He says it would be like operating on yourself. Noah thinks Patrick told the doctor to say that. Patrick doesn't think that Noah should operate on Eli and threatens to get Dr. Ford involved. Robin points out that Patrick probably shouldn't be operating on someone who looks like his father, since his own emotions might interfere.

Later, Robin finds out that Dr. Lawrence is available for Eli's surgery. Patrick isn't okay with that. Eli needs the best. Patrick goes to tell Eli that he has an embolism, which is what caused him to pass out. He has to have brain surgery to remove it. Eli tells him to forget it. He's got a concert. Patrick says if he doesn't operate, Eli will die.  Eli Love refuses surgery. Patrick and Robin warn him that his condition will worsen without it. Robin asks Patrick to resign from Eli's case, as he is to emotionally involved. Later, Eli tries to leave the hospital but is caught by Epiphany. Once back in his hospital room, he tells Robin and Patrick that he has a benefit concert he must perform at and Patrick suggests that Noah pretend to be Eli for the concert.

Patrick encourages Noah to save the pediatric AIDS fundraiser and act as a stand-in for Eli. Noah is very reluctant, but later pays Eli a visit and offers to be a substitute. Eli flips out, and collapses when he tries to get out of bed. With Patrick and Liz looking on, Robin criticizes Lucky for arresting Jason. Lucky defends his position, but Robin doesn't want to hear it.  Patrick questions her loyalty to a man that broke the law, and Robin recounts the time when Tony Jones kidnapped baby Michael. Robin fell ill when she tried to intervene. Jason was the one that saved her from dying of pneumonia.

Patrick rushes to see Robin after getting her page. A patient needs surgery but doesn't have any insurance. She thinks he should operate, but he doesn't see the point. The patient will die regardless. He tells her he is too busy to do the surgery. Robin asks if he's willing to let a patient die because they don't have insurance. Patrick says they are in danger of a takeover. He walks away. Robin realizes Patrick is protecting her. He tells her big brother is watching. He will do surgery but anyone involved will face suspension. Dr. Ford comes in and asks Patrick to sign off on transferring patient to County hospital. When he leaves, Patrick and Robin scrub in and perform surgery while Epiphany watches. Just as the surgery is complete and Robin and Patrick are celebrating, Dr. Ford comes in and tells them to prepare for their punishment.

Lainey comes up to the desk and tells Epiphany that her date with Stan is tonight. When Stan arrives, he tells Lainey to meet him up on the roof. Everyone seems surprised that Stan is taking Lainey to the roof for a date. When Patrick questions him about it, Stan reveals that his intentions are for this to be the first and last date with Lainey. When Lainey shows up on the roof, Stan tells her to help herself to beer in the cooler. It goes well with the takeout they will be ordering. Lainey doesn't appear phased and says, "This hits the spot." Stan wants to know why she's trying so hard to pretend to like this. Lainey tells him she likes fast food and beer, too.

Stan tells Patrick about his date with Lainey later at the hospital when he goes to find his mother. Lainey runs into Robin as well and tells her that her date with Stan wasn't a very good one and doesn't expect to go out with him again after he purposely tried to make their date as bad as possible. Robin and Patrick get reprimanded by Dr. Ford for defying him and performing surgery on a patient that was uninsured. Dr. Ford decides to punish them by scheduling them to do the night shift in the E.R. for the time being. The new student nurses seem to side with Patrick and Robin but Epiphany makes it clear to them that they have to follow all the rules in order to make sure the hospital stays open. Robin and Patrick complain about what happened to them. Patrick decides to go home after he makes sure their patient is doing fine in recovery with painkillers the rest of the night. Robin is worried about leaving their patient to go home in case something goes wrong and they are not there. Patrick assures her that the patient will be fine the rest of the night. Patrick reminds her that he wants to go home because who knows when they will have an evening to themselves again after being scheduled the night shift in E.R. Robin assumes Patrick plans to go home and sleep but he tells her he has other plans for them that don't involved sleep and kisses her.

Robin is startled when her mother rapels down into her living room from the roof. Patrick walks in, minus his shirt, just as Anna is complimenting Robin's hair. Patrick comments that they do have a door she could have used, but Anna balks at that. Robin and Anna tell Patrick about agent life and they explain to Anna about James Craig and how he's never been found. Anna and Patrick talk about how special Robin is and how she wants to celebrate life. She has tickets to the Eli Love concert. Anna goes on and on about Eli Love and how women slingshot their underwear onstage. Anna wants an introduction to Eli at the hospital. At the hospital, Patrick and Robin talk about Anna. Robin doesn't want her knowing that Jerry Jacks is James Craig. Anna shows up, anxious to meet Eli. Robin and Patrick come up with excuses, but Anna just decides to make her rounds to find Eli. Patrick realizes Anna isn't wearing any underwear.

Meanwhile, Eli talks to Noah about Eli's sex appeal and the money he's raising for Aids research. They also discuss Noah filling in. Eli doesn't think Noah can duplicate his voice. Anna barges in, shocked to see two Eli Loves. Once everything is explained, Noah and Anna walk out of the hospital room and talk. Anna asks him to keep her adult daughter a secret from Eli. She can't stop staring at him and even checks out his rear when he walks away. She goes back to talk to Eli and embarrasses him while she goes on and on and has him sign her t-shirt. Patrick and Robin walk in and tell Anna there may not be a concert if Eli doesn't have surgery. They explain their idea of having Noah stand in and how Eli is against it. Anna thinks she can get Eli to approve of the operation. Later, Anna pages Noah, Patrick and Robin. She tells them she's going to save a rock legend, and then proceeds to tell Noah to drop his pants.

Anna tries to talk Noah into impersonating Eli. Noah dresses up in Eli's clothes and Robin and Patrick mistaken think he is Eli. Anna coaches Noah on some of Eli's moves and gives him the guitar to try and play. Noah strums a few cords. Anna and Noah discuss Eli's health, and the prospect of Noah standing in for Eli at the concert. Noah explains to Anna that surgery is his best chance for survival. Robin approaches her mother and questions her involvement in the Noah/Eli situation, when she knows that at any given moment, she could be called away for work. Anna tells her daughter that if she wants her to stay in Port Charles permanently, she only needs to ask. Robin acknowledges Anna's love for her but doesn't want her mother to give up what makes her happy. She talks to her mom about Patrick. Robin is taken aback when Anna asks her about marriage and children. She does not want to push anything, but tells Robin that being a mom is her greatest joy and she wants her to experience the same thing. Anna is able to convince Eli to have the surgery. Noah is willing to perform in the concert, but is nervous about it.

Robin, Patrick and Noah emerge form surgery exhausted. Anna approaches and tells Noah she has less than an hour to transform him into a rock star. Noah doesn't want to go, but Anna tells him this party is a perfect time to try and on their gig and see if it will work. Noah wants to just tell everyone Eli is sick, but Robin tells him he won't win an argument with her mom. He agrees and Anna gets to work. Patrick talks to Robin about his Dad's alcoholism. He's worried that acting like Eli Love will sabotage his sobriety. At Eli Love's party, Robin and Patrick order drinks and find a seat. A man comes up to Patrick and claims to know him. He thinks Patrick is someone famous. They blow him off and in walks Anna and "Eli". Patrick is surprised at how well his dad is doing at fooling everyone. Robin pulls her mother aside to remind her that Noah is NOT Eli and that he is a recovering alcoholic. Anna says they are going to give the people what they want. While Kate's boss and his girlfriend talk to Eli about backstage passes, Anna brings Eli his drink of choice for a toast, VODKA!

Anna and Noah drink with the guests at the Eli Love dinner. Patrick gets angry at Noah for drinking and Anna for giving him the drinks. Patrick confides in Robin that he is worried his father will have a relapse due to the atmosphere he will be subjected to as Eli Love. A woman approaches Noah and he acts as though he remembers her and later tries to get him to drink vodka off her belly. Anna acts like a jealous girlfriend to get Noah away from the woman and proceeds to spray the woman with water. While people are looking on, Anna kisses Noah. Noah enjoys the attention he received impersonating Eli and is optimistic he'll be able to fool the crowd at the upcoming concert with Anna's help. Robin pales at the thought of Noah hooking up with Anna. Robin confronts Noah point blank about what's going on between him and her mother.

Noah wants to know why Robin thinks he and Anna have slept together. He says the hospital is a breeding ground for gossip. He tells her it's none of her business what his relationship is with Anna. He tells them to find something better to do. He leaves and Robin and Patrick talk about the possibility of their parents hooking up. Robin is worried she put the idea in Noah's head to start something with Anna. Noah shows back up dressed as Eli. He's getting ready to go see Anna. Patrick and Robin act like everything is fine, but when he leaves Patrick says this is war. It's either them or us. They go home and decide on some red wine for the evening. Their parents are driving them to drink. There's nothing they can do about it, though. They decide to turn their phones off, cook dinner, and relax.

Patrick explains to Robin that although he's happy being in a relationship with her, he can also see why Noah is attracted to the rock star lifestyle. Bobbie fears Noah is risking his sobriety with his charade. Noah has a tough time resisting temptation. Patrick and Robin observe Noah acting differently. While they agree that it would be difficult to accept their parents in a relationship, Patrick admits that his father has seemed happy. Later, Robin goes to visit Anna and walks in on something obviously surprising.

Robin and Patrick walk in on Noah and Anna in an embrace. The couple gives their parents the third degree about their budding relationship. Robin tells them it's not good to mix business and pleasure, and Noah accuses them of doing the same thing. Noah appears uncomfortable as he sees a vodka advertisement on the table. Robin sends the men away to talk with her mother. Anna denies any feelings for Noah. Robin tells her that she is a danger junkie who is getting a rush transforming Noah to Eli. Patrick tells Noah that he is getting carried away with the Eli Love gig, and accuses him on drinking again. He tells Patrick that he would be crazy to start drinking again, and that he feels better than he has in years. He is happy to have female attention. When Patrick asks what happens to Anna when the concert is over, Noah tells him that their lives are incompatible. Patrick and Robin speculate over Noah and Anna, and agree not to take sides. They start to make love, but she turns him down because she is worried about her mother. In the meantime, Anna get a visit from Noah. They talk about the accusations of their children, and end up in a passionate kiss. Anna pulls away when things heat up, as she cannot stop thinking about Robin's warnings. Noah appears disappointed when she tells him she will call him tomorrow.

Patrick walks in the hospital yelling about a lost file. Epiphany has it and tells him if he's nice she'll give it back to him. Robin walks in and through conversation with Patrick; it is revealed that Patrick's bad mood is due to Robin not sleeping with him. She's sickened by their parent's hook up. Noah walks up and tells them that Anna bailed on him. He's mad and tells Robin that it's her fault that Anna is not returning his calls. Patrick stands up for Robin, which surprises her. After Noah leaves, she asks Patrick why he stood up for her. Epiphany butts in and says that Patrick is trying to make up for lost time.

Noah goes to the bar to have a drink. Bobbie walks up and asks if it's him or Eli. He reveals that he is Noah. She questions his drink, but he tells her it is club soda. She wonders if he can make it through the Eli Love impersonation without losing his sobriety. After Bobbie leaves, another man approaches Noah and thanks him for his impersonation. He is saving Eli's life and also continuing to raise money for charity by impersonating the rock star. As they talk, they are both served alcoholic drinks. Noah takes a long drink. Noah goes back to the hospital where Patrick greets him with information about a surgery they need to do on a pregnant patient. He wants his dad to scrub in with him. Patrick is surprised but pleased when his father declines and tells him he can handle it himself.

Patrick is annoyed when Robin spurns him again. He senses something is wrong and presses her for an answer as she leaves for work. They continue to bicker at the hospital until she finally admits she thinks she is pregnant.  Patrick is shocked to learn that Robin thinks she may be pregnant. They used protection. How could this happen? Robin is upset that Patrick is acting like his bachelor life will be ruined by a child. As they argue, everyone at the hospital becomes aware of Robin's possible pregnancy. She decides to leave work and go home to take the pregnancy test. Patrick goes home with her and tells her that he hasn't had time to adjust to the news. He's not sure how he will handle being a parent. Kids make him nervous. When the time is up on the test, Robin checks it and says she is not pregnant. They are relieved.

Robin and Patrick return to work after learning that she isn't pregnant. They tell Epiphany about the results. Epiphany is just relieved that they can now go back to concentrating on their work again. Robin tries to pretend that she isn't disappointed in the results and tells Patrick that she isn't ready to be a parent right now the way their work schedules are right now and how they can't even agree on what furniture to buy, let alone decide on a baby. Patrick agrees with her since he isn't ready to be a parent either. Later, Robin consults with him about Eli Love's condition and how she is concerned he isn't making the progress he should be making after his surgery. Patrick isn't worried about his progress and disagrees with her about him needing more drug therapy. Robin continues to worry about Eli Love's condition. Patrick is more worried about how this effects his father since Noah will have to continue pretending to be Eli and that he will have to drink more alcohol. He worries that Anna's influence will hurt him more. Robin defends her mother's motives and thinks Anna will make sure he isn't drinking too much to get himself into trouble. Later, Robin suggests that they both check on Eli Love again and make sure everything is alright with him for the night. Patrick thinks he will be o.k. for the rest of the night since he checked on him already and everything is normal. Epiphany approaches them and tells Patrick that he has a consult to do in the E.R. right now. Patrick kisses Robin goodbye. Robin watches as he leaves. A couple gets off the elevator with their little girl. The little girl drops her stuffed animal as they are walking. Robin rushes over to pick it up and hands it to the little girl. The parents thank her since their daughter wouldn't go to sleep without it with her. Robin compliments them on how beautiful their daughter is. She can't help but have some yearning for a child herself.

Robin becomes angry when she overhears Layla flirting with a willing Patrick. After sending the nurse to attend to a patient, she confronts Patrick. She tells him that she believes he is acting out because of the potential fatherhood scare and that she wants to move past it. They make amends and decide to go to the Eli Love concert together. Anna, Robin, Patrick, and Noah gather in the stage area for the concert. Anna is excited and calls herself a groupie. Noah has cold feet and says he's not going to perform. Patrick gets mad at him and tells him at least he has experience in failures and storms out. Robin meets Patrick back at work. She thought he was taking the day off. He says his dad has neglected patients. He's been too self-centered. Robin tells him she understands. They both have had similar circumstances. Patrick says his father always bails when people rely on Noah. She suggests that perhaps Patrick is the one bailing on his father, now. They go back to see Noah, who has had a heart to heart with Anna about parenting. Noah tells Patrick that he's going to give it a shot. Noah asks if Patrick became a surgeon because of him, and he says yes. All he ever wanted was for his father to be there. He's here now, though, and that's all that matters. Suddenly, Noah trips over a cord and chaos falls all around him. They ask him if he's alright. He says he hurt his throat and starts coughing.

Noah hurts his vocal cords after a microphone falls down and hits him in the throat backstage. Patrick worries about his ability to perform after he complains that his throat hurts and he can't sing. Meanwhile, Robin and Anna show up at the hospital just as Eli is wheeled out into the hallway. Eli tells Epiphany that he is well enough to go home soon. Epiphany tells him that he is not well enough to walk yet and won't be going anywhere. Anna and Robin approach him. Anna kisses Eli when she sees how much better he is doing. She realizes what she just did and can't believe it. Robin tries to get Anna to focus on why they came to the hospital. Anna tells Epiphany that she needs Eli's help and explains to him what happened to Noah earlier. Eli tells everyone that he will have to go and perform the concert himself because they can't disappoint all the fans that came and raised all that money for AIDS. Eli tries to stand up but is too wobbly and has to sit back in his wheelchair. Anna and Robin explain to Epiphany that they need Eli's help. Robin tells Epiphany that she will get Patrick to temporarily release Eli for the concert but assures her that Eli won't be standing up. They show up at the concert with Eli. Patrick has to go on stage to introduce Eli and talk to them about how they can help LifeBeat further. Noah apologizes to Patrick about how he can't sing tonight with his voice all hoarse. Anna, Robin, Eli, and Epiphany show up backstage. Anna tells Noah that she may have a way for this all to work. Later, Noah shows up on stage to perform as Eli with Eli backstage with a microphone and earpiece to sing for him while in his wheelchair. Noah says hello to all the fans with his hoarse voice. Suddenly, the microphone shuts down just as Eli is about to sing. One of the technical guys tells everyone that the microphones aren't working. Noah realizes that he is on his own with no help from Eli.

With Anna and Eli's help, Noah manages to pull off the concert for LIFEbeat. Still on a high from his success, Noah advises Patrick to live life to the fullest. Patrick overhears Anna giving Robin some important advice. Patrick puts his foot in his mouth, but then tells Robin how he really feels about her. As Robin gets ready for work, Patrick sits down to work on the race track. He flirts with her and tries to get her to stay home. She goes to work instead. After consulting with Lainey on a particular patient, she tells Dr. Winters about the morning. She didn't realize he was flirting with her. Robin hopes she didn't miss an opportunity to connect with Patrick.

#5B  Leyla is busy working on a chart when Patrick approaches the nurse's station. She asks him for help and he obliges.  Later, Patrick tells her he will help her study, if she ever needs more help. Epiphany comes over and tells Leyla to go give a patient their medicine. When she leaves, Epiphany tells Patrick to stop flirting with Leyla. He says he's not, but she says she knows his past. He says he's over that now. Epiphany warns him that if Robin makes it hard on Leyla and she quits, Epiphany will make it hard on Patrick. Patrick goes to leave and Robin asks him about information on a patient of his. He knows that she previously took his charts, so he is cold to her and tells her she has everything she needs if she has his charts. Leyla watches the exchange and smiles. Robin goes back and tells Lainey she needs her own therapist time. She wonders if she and Patrick will have a future. After all, she wants a baby and he does not. Back at home, Robin comes home and sees that Leyla is there playing with the race track with Patrick. She had come to study, but she was interested in Patrick's race track. She told him a story of how she helped build one when she was younger. Robin walks in and tells her to get out.

Robin isn't pleased when she finds Patrick in their apartment entertaining Layla, the new student nurse with his racecar track. She overreacts to seeing her with Patrick and asks her to get out of her apartment. Patrick takes exception to her rudeness and tells her she is acting very insecure right now. Robin asks him if he would do the same if he found her entertaining Jason or Nikolas in their apartment. Patrick tells her he wouldn't have a problem with her spending time with her male friends since he trusts her and thought she trusted him. Robin realizes Layla is still in the room listening to them fight. She asks her why she is listening to their private conversation. Layla picks up her books and things and tries to leave. Patrick tells her he is sorry for how Robin is treating her. Robin refuses to apologize and accuses Layla of hitting on Patrick all the time. Layla defends herself and tells Robin that she sees Patrick as a friend and mentor and that is it. She walks off after telling Robin off for being so territorial. Patrick tells Robin off for her behavior and asks her why she doesn't trust him and his live for her. Robin tells him that he hasn't given her a reason to trust him with the way he has been acting lately. Patrick asks her if she is talking about the baby situation. Robin tells him that she couldn't believe how he reacted when he found out she wasn't pregnant. They end up laying everything out on the table about their relationship. Robin feels that they are in two different places now. She tells him that she didn't think she would ever want or have a child of her own and now would like to but he is opposed to it. Patrick is honest with her and tells her he doesn't see himself being a father to her children ever and likes his freedom and being a world renowned neurosurgeon. Robin thanks him for his honesty and tells him she will come by sometime later to start picking up her things.

Robin and Epiphany talk about a patient. Patrick approaches and tells them that he thinks the patient needs surgery. Robin says he doesn't need it yet. Let her treat it with drugs. Patrick thinks she is bringing their personal problems into the hospital. They argue until she finally relents and lets him do the surgery. Later, Epiphany and Robin talk about the patient. Epiphany is still surprised that Robin backed down to Patrick. After the surgery is over, Patrick tells Robin that it was a success. He asks her to consult on another patient. She says she can't. She has someplace she has to be. She ends up at the coffee shop. Jason is surprised to see her. He orders her a favorite of hers. She tells him not to be nice to her or she may cry. He tells her it's ok; crying is allowed. Robin talks to her about Patrick and how they broke up over a child she may want some day. Jason tells her if she wants a child, then she should have one. If Patrick doesn't want one, that's his problem. She says he makes it sound so simple. He explains that simple doesn't mean it doesn't hurt.

Patrick bristles when he see Robin arrive at the hospital on the back of Jason's motorcycle. Robin confides to Elizabeth how much she misses Patrick since they broke up.
Robin is having a hard time getting over Patrick. Robin talks to her mom on the phone, but they have a bad connection. Anna asks about Patrick, and Robin tells her that they broke up. Suddenly, there's an explosion and the connection is broke. Robin starts to make a call to find Patrick, but changes her mind. Later, she overhears Leyla talking to another doctor about her plans with Patrick for later that night. The doctor tells her that with Dr. Drake, there's only one kind of date. Robin goes to the desk and Liz asks her if she's glad to be off the night shift. She says, "Let me count the ways." Liz leaves before Robin starts talking about Leyla. Emily approaches Robin and wants to talk to her about Nikolas and the tests that have been run. Robin says she did what she could, but Nikolas wouldn't tell her what was going on. Emily tells her about the episodes Nikolas has been having. He's losing his memory and has become violent. She worries this is a side effect. What if it can't be treated?

Lainey asks Robin for a consult, but tells her that she plans on asking Patrick, too. Robin tells Lainey about the call with her mom and how she wanted to call Patrick but didn't. He's going on a date with Leyla. It hurts, but the further away she stays from him, the better it will be. Robin calls her mom and leaves a message for her to call and let her know she's ok. Leyla comes in and tells her that Patrick needs her to send him a treatment plan. Robin goes off on her. Leyla retaliates and warns Robin don't to needle her just because her boyfriend broke up with her.

Robin is bothered by the fact that Leyla is going on a date with Patrick. A dolled-up Robin seeks out Patrick at the Metro Court.  Robin and Patrick make an attempt to clear the air, but remain apart. Patrick and Leyla enjoy their date together. Kelly secretly listens as Robin agrees to have a friendly drink with Andy.

she is reluctant to get closer to him because she doesn't want to complicate her life and change her plans because of him. He tells her that he is the perfect if she wants something uncomplicated. Leyla worries that she is just someone he is rebounding with until he gets over Robin. Patrick persuades her to have sex with him and not to worry about her plans. He gets paged for an emergency at the hospital soon after they sleep together. Later, Kelly warns Robin about how a baby could really complicate her already busy life and that it is a big responsibility. Robin lists all the ways she is ready to be a mother. Kelly asks her who she plans to be the father of her future baby. Robin doesn't know who would be the father and always imagined she would be in a relationship with the man who would father her child. Kelly suggests that she make a list of potential fathers for her baby. Robin's list includes Nikolas, Jax, Sonny, Lucky, Jason, etc. Robin goes over her list of potential sperm donors. She puts Jax's name down and imagines what Carly's reaction would be if she approached Jax about being a sperm donor. Robin goes over the list and scratches off the names of unlikely candidates.

Patrick and Leyla get off the elevator together, which bothers Robin. Patrick asks about a patient. Robin fills him in on the patient's progress. Leyla asks Robin if she can help her in any way. Robin tells her that she will let her know when she needs her for anything and walks away. The list Robin made falls out of the folder she had it in and falls to the floor. Leyla picks it up and looks at it curiously. Later, she shows Patrick the list and tells him it dropped out of a file Robin was holding. Patrick sees the list of men's names and thinks Robin may be planning a party and he wasn't invited. He approaches Robin and hands her the list. Robin is embarrassed by it and tries to act like it is nothing and pushes it back in her folder. She tells him it isn't anything important. Kelly shows up and tells him he is too late and blew his chance to be on the list. Patrick asks Robin what is going on. Robin tells Kelly to shut up and leave it alone. Kelly suggests to Robin that she explain the list to him since he will find out about it sooner or later. Robin tells him the list is potential men who could provide her with a baby.

Patrick is surprised when Robin tells him she is planning on having a baby. He's even more surprised when she pulls out a list of eligible candidates. He thinks she is doing this because of him. She tells him that not everything she does is because of him. He questions why she made this decision so suddenly, but she points out that had he been paying attention he would have noticed that she has been thinking about this since the pregnancy scare. He notices that Spinelli is on the list. She tells him she just wants DNA, not a father. She wants him to respect her for what she wants. She is grateful to him, because their split has given her the opportunity to commit to something bigger than herself. She leaves and walks over to Dr. Julian. Robin asks him if he would like to have some drinks with her. She has something she would like to discuss with him.

Dr. Julian and Robin meet for drinks and they start talking about two different things, unknowingly. He thinks she's talking about sleeping together, while she thinks they're talking about him contributing DNA for a possible child. They realize they are talking about two different things, and Dr. Julian asks why she asked him there. Patrick walks up and tells Dr. Julian that Robin wants him to be the father of her child. Dr. Julian spits his drink out, and Robin tells Patrick to butt out of their private conversation. Dr. Julian tells her that there is no conversation if Patrick is right. He says that Patrick and Robin obviously have issues they need to work out. When he leaves, Patrick tells a furious Robin that he is trying to make sure she doesn't get hurt. He thinks she should think about this some more. She tells him she's going to do things her way and she doesn't care if he approves or not.

Although Patrick and Robin both want Leyla to witness their continuing fight over Robin's maternal instincts, Leyla manages to escape. She approaches Patrick later after Robin leaves and tells him that they should not see each other again. His relationship with Robin is proof that people who work together should not be involved. She values their professional relationship too much. As she leaves, Patrick overhears Robin calling Jax for dinner. He tells Epiphany that he's signing out, and she brings up Robin and asks when he will be back. He tells her to mind her own business, but Epiphany says it's hard to stay out of other people's business when they keep bringing their problems to work. She tells him to take the afternoon off and get his problems sorted out. Patrick gets on the phone and says, "We need to talk." A short time later, Leyla and Epiphany watch as Carly comes to see Patrick. He tells her that Robin has decided she wants a baby and wants Jax to be the father.

Jax and Robin meet for dinner, and he talks about how much he and Carly love each other. Robin asks how he likes being a step-dad, and he tells her that he loves it. He says he's spoiling the boys. She tells him that she has decided to take the leap of being a mom. He offers to give her any advice that she needs. She thanks him, but says what she really wants is his DNA. Carly storms over to their table and tells Robin there's no way her husband will be fathering her child. Patrick watches from the bar. Robin tells Carly that this is between her and Jax and it has nothing to do with her. Carly disagrees because she is Jax's wife and she has a say in whatever he does or doesn't do. Jax disagrees with Carly about her having a say in his decision which upsets her. Jax tells her this is his decision not hers. Jax calmly thanks Robin for thinking of him when asking him to father her baby but tells her he can't accept her proposal because he wouldn't want to become attached to his child when it seems as though Robin wants to raise a baby on her own. Robin thanks him for her time and is about to leave. However, she sees Patrick leaving the bar as she is about to leave and realizes he was the one who told Carly about her dinner with Jax and what she planned to ask him and that is why Carly suddenly showed up out of the blue. Carly doesn't deny it and suggests that she ask Patrick to father her baby if she wants a baby so much. Robin tells Carly and Jax that Patrick is not part of the equation in her decision since he doesn't want to be a father.

Later on at the hospital, Robin confronts Patrick about his interference in her plans and how he told Carly about what she was doing. Patrick defends himself by telling her that he felt Carly had a right to know that Robin was planning on asking her husband to father a baby for her. Robin tells him he had no right to interfere and he shouldn't care that she is trying to have a baby and is asking men she knows to help her. Patrick accuses her of rushing too much to have a baby and being desperate enough to ask her married friends to be sperm donors. He asks her why she can't just look into adoption instead. Robin doesn't know how to answer that question and is momentarily speechless. Meanwhile, Carly gets upset with Jax for even considering being a sperm donor for Robin without asking her first or even considering her feelings. She points out that he knows she can't stand Robin.

Robin and Patrick continue to argue about her wanting to have a baby sooner rather than later. Robin wants Patrick to butt out of her life. Later, Robin considers Lucky as a potential donor. Lucky respectfully turns down Robin's request to help her father a child, saying he could never walk away from his own flesh and blood.

Robin and Patrick work on a patient that is identical to Robin. Epiphany asks Robin if she is ok, and Robin asks her if she can page Kelly. When Kelly arrives, Robin explains that her desire to be a mom has caused her to see images of her own death. Kelly explains that it is actually normal, but Robin says it's not normal for a person like her. Kelly reminds her that she is taking a big step. Robin says she isn't having second thoughts, and wants a child of her own more than ever. Kelly jokes that she just needs to find a father. Robin decides she needs to be more aggressive with her list of potential donors. Meanwhile, Epiphany hears someone singing a Saints song. She finds the man and yells at him. She tells him not to sing that song anymore.

Patrick overhears Kelly talking to Robin about finally having a sperm donor ready to come in and get the process going. Patrick isn't pleased by the news. He asks Leyla to look into what is on Kelly's files about Robin and get back to him about who the sperm donor is. Leyla asks Patrick why he is so interested in what Robin is doing in her personal life since they broke up. Patrick tells her that he still cares about Robin and thinks she is rushing into this whole baby thing. Leyla agrees to help him get the information. Later, Patrick can't believe it when he sees that Spinelli is going to be the sperm donor for Robin. Kelly talks to Robin about her choice in picking Spinelli as a possible father for her baby. Robin explains to her that Spinelli is very smart and kind and his genes would be good for her baby. Kelly brings up the fact that he is lacking in social skills and behavior. Robin tells her that those traits are environmental not genetic and that he won't be raising her child. Spinelli shows up and talks to Robin for a few minutes before he is suppose to start the process. Robin sees how excited and nervous he is. After Spinelli is escorted by Kelly to do the deed, Patrick approaches her and asks her if she really thinks that Spinelli was the right choice for her for a sperm donor. Robin doesn't admit that she may have regretted her choice and tells Patrick that he was a good choice. Later, Spinelli calls Jason on his cell phone and is freaking out at the hospital and asks him to come to the hospital ASAP. Jason shows up as soon as he can. Spinelli tells him he can't "perform" under this much pressure and needs Jason to do it for him.

Spinelli changes his mind and tells Jason that he can't donate to Robin's cause. His love for Lulu paralyzed him. Jason doesn't want to hear anymore, but Robin overhears Spinelli asking Jason if he will take his place as Robin's donor. He thinks Robin would be a great mom, and the two of them have a history together. Robin interrupts them and thanks Spinelli for his effort. She tells him he doesn't have to find a replacement, though. It's ridiculous to think that Jason would father her child. Jason disagrees. With the past they had together, it's not that ridiculous. Patrick overhears the conversation about how Jason and Robin would make great parents. Epiphany breaks up the nurses from the conversation and tells Patrick that if he's changed his mind about Robin and a baby, he should do it on his own time. Robin knows that Jason couldn't father a child and not be a part of its life, though. He agrees that it would be torture to watch his child growing up in the distance.

At home, Jason and Spinelli discuss Robin and her desire to have a child. Jason hopes everything works out for Robin, but she doesn't realize what it's like for a man to know he's a father. She has accomplished all sorts of things in life, and now she wants a child. Jason wishes he could help her, but it's bad enough with him missing Jake all the time. Meanwhile, Patrick approaches Robin about Jason. He asks what she would have done if he would have said yes. Robin admits she would have been ecstatic, because Jason has many wonderful qualities. It drives Patrick crazy thinking about Jason and Robin and a potential future. She hasn't pushed him into anything, though, and he appreciates that. From now on, he's going to stay out of her personal life. After initially refusing Patrick's invite to the ball, Leyla changes her mind and agrees to go with him.

OCTOBER 31ST  Wyndemere -- 5:00 AM  Nikolas says, "People say that I love you more than life. I never knew what that meant until tonight. Would you die for love?" Next, Nikolas is shown lying on the ground with a bloody hand. He opens his eyes and looks around. He sees a mask on the ground and screams, "NO!!!"

11 Hours Earlier:   Patrick and Leyla show up at the launch and see Robin waiting there as well. She is polite and says hi before she leaves. Leyla thinks that Patrick should go and talk to Robin, but Patrick explains that he invited Leyla so the night is for her. Nikolas and Emily come down to greet their guests in the ballroom of Wyndemere. Nikolas announces that he is giving an endowment to General Hospital in the name of Alan Quartermaine. He wishes he could be there tonight so he could hear the announcement of his engagement to Emily. Everyone applauds while they kiss. As the dancing begins, Robin watches and Patrick and Leyla together.

10 Hours Earlier: At the Black and White Ball at Wyndemere everyone dances with their perspective dates.  Robin watches Patrick dancing with Leyla.  Robin talks to Maxie and Georgie about how much she misses Patrick and how hard it is to watch him dance with Leyla. Maxie and Georgie try to cheer her up and encourage her to enjoy herself and dance with all the cute guys she can find. Later, Maxie can't help herself when she sees Leyla standing near the refreshment table alone. She approaches her and makes some snide remark about how she stole Robin's man from her with her flirtations at the hospital. Leyla asks her why she cares. Maxie tells her she is Robin's cousin. Leyla tries to dismiss her and walk away. Maxie grabs her arm and tells her she isn't done talking to her yet. Leyla tries walk away again but Maxie grabs Leyla's pearl necklace around her neck and pulls it hard and breaks it. Maxie takes off as Patrick comes to Leyla's rescue. Leyla is devastated by what Maxie did and ends up crying over it.

Patrick confronts Robin about what Maxie did and blames her for taking their break-up out on Leyla again. Robin doesn't know what he is talking about and lashes out at him for being so selfish. Later, Nikolas asks Robin to dance with him. They share a dance. Robin surprises him by asking him if he would consider fathering her baby for her. Later, Nikolas finds Leyla crying alone on one of the couches and approaches her. He thinks she is crying about being stranded there overnight because of the storm. He reassures her everything will be alright and that tomorrow morning she will be able to go home. Leyla tells him she isn't worried about the storm or about what could happen since she is a nurse. She hands him her broken pearl necklace and tells him that is why she is crying.

9 Hours Earlier: Nikolas talks to Leyla about her broken necklace. He learns that it is a family heirloom and that is why she's so upset that someone intentionally broke it. Nikolas asks if Patrick defended her but Leyla says that Patrick doesn't know. Nikolas gets upset and walks away. Emily follows him. Nikolas overhears Robin and Patrick fighting. He goes into a rage until Emily walks in and tells him to stop. When he does, Emily tells Robin and Patrick about the rage Nikolas has been experiencing and the black-outs. Nikolas was going to meet with another neurologist, but he wanted to throw her this ball so he put it off. Patrick mentions that he needs to get this taken care of, before charges start getting pressed against him. Nikolas comes out of his blackout and asks what happened. The last thing he remembered was talking to Leyla about the necklace. They are interrupted when Leyla comes in and tells them that Ric has been stabbed. Robin and Patrick are doing their best to try to get Rick to a hospital.  Trevor tells Skye that he's going to do whatever he can to help his son. Patrick says it's not safe to do too much, though. Robin mentions that it's not looking good for Ric. He's lost a lot of blood. She faints into Patrick's arms, while Leyla watches from behind.

8 Hours Earlier: 9 PM: A voice says, "When you're alone in the dark, you never know who will be coming for you or why." Robin tells Patrick and Leyla to stop hovering over her. She isn't sick and she isn't pregnant. Patrick sends Leyla to check on Ric, and he asks Robin what happened. She's not sure, but when she saw his blood on her mask, she thought it was hers. Skye asks Leyla how Ric is doing. Leyla isn't sure how they are going to be able to stop the bleeding.  Trevor comes by to check on Ric. Patrick tells him that he needs to be evacuated now or he won't be strong enough for the trip. Trevor starts to leave, but Alexis stops him. She slaps him and calls him selfish when he tells her there's nothing more he can do for Ric.  Robin apologizes to Leyla for her necklace. Patrick checks on Ric, while Leyla checks to make sure Alexis is okay.

7 hours earlier: 10 PM "There are two choices when you are scared. One, you hide. Two, you stay and fight."
Ric mentions that the pain is going away. Patrick tells him to be still. Ric knows he is in bad shape. Patrick tells them that they need to do surgery now. Robin wonders what they can find to operate with. She comes back with some fishing line, but Patrick worries that Ric will bleed to death when they un-bandage him. Trevor comes in and Patrick explains what they are going to try and do. He doesn't want them to operate on his son with fishing line, but Robin tells him that's all they have. Patrick is the best. Ric will need a blood transfusion, though. Over in a corner, Skye notices Alexis in pain. She asks her when the pain started. Alexis says she survived cancer. She can survive this. It's nothing.

6 hours earlier: 12 AM "We all have limits, lines we know we won't cross until we do."
Patrick is ready to start the surgery, but they need to find a blood donor quickly. Trevor finds Sonny and tells him that his brother needs him. He begs him to give Ric his blood for a transfusion. Carly finds the two just as they are talking about Ric, and she tells Sonny to let Ric bleed to death. Patrick starts the surgery. It will all be for nothing if they can't find a donor, though. Patrick performs surgery on Ric with Emily, Leyla, and Robin helping him. Patrick complains about how poor the lighting is in the room and how he can't see where the bleeders are in his arteries to stop the bleeding. Robin finds the artery that is bleeding and shows Patrick where it is. He is able to stop the bleeding but feels that if they don't find a blood donor for Ric soon he will die. Sonny shows up with Kate upstairs and sees Ric laying there weak from loss of blood. Patrick tells Sonny and Kate that Ric needs a blood transfusion right away and needs Sonny to consent to it. Sonny agrees to donate his blood. They hook Sonny up to a tube they made up and attach it to Ric's arm.

Meanwhile, Alexis watches Ric's surgery in agony as her stomach pains get worse. She ends up having to lay down on the couch and hold her stomach. She makes a sound of pain that alerts Robin. Robin goes to check on her. Skye tells her that Alexis has something wrong with her and it seems like it could be her appendix. Robin examines her to see where it is hurting but Alexis can't handle her probing and tells her she hurts too much to move. Jax comes into the room to let them know that he can transport Ric by boat back to the city even in the storm. He sees that Alexis is in pain and checks on her. He tries to get Alexis to move but she can't move without being in a lot of pain. Robin asks Emily if she can search the mansion and find something to give Alexis to have for the pain. Emily tells her that she thinks Nikolas has some leftover painkillers somewhere and will go look for some. Jax insists on escorting Emily to protect her. They come back later with a pill for Alexis to take to alleviate the pain some. The painkiller doesn't work as effectively as they would like. Jax tells Alexis that he can take her on the boat and bring her to the hospital even if the storm is dangerous. Alexis asks Robin what she would do. Robin tells her she can't answer that. Alexis asks her what she would do if she was Patrick. Robin tells her that she would drag him and even carry him onto the boat if she had to. Alexis appreciates her honest answer and lets Jax carry her.

Four Hours Earlier: Kate panics when Sonny passes out while donating blood to his injured brother.

3 Hours Earlier: 2 AM  "Some things are too important to lie about."
Johnny explains to Leyla that she looks just like his deceased mother. If his father sees her, there will certainly be a bloodbath. She asks him why he didn't stop his father when he had the chance. He agrees that he should have killed him in his sleep. She tells him he should have gotten his father help when he still could, not kill him. Johnny says it's past that point now. She tells him she's going back to Patrick. He tells her that's fine, but if others get hurt it's on her. Patrick and Robin come over to take Leyla back to the rest of the group, but they end up running into Anthony. Leyla hides her face while Anthony is busy talking to Robin. He asks Leyla to show herself and when she does, he calls her Maria. He holds his hand out to her and she takes it. She tries to tell him that her name is Leyla, not Maria. Robin says they should go somewhere to talk, but Anthony thinks they're trying to keep Maria away from him. Anthony wants to take her to the garden, and Leyla agrees. He tells her that need to take care of Robin and Patrick first, though. Leyla tells him to let them go, but he says one must die. She is to decide who lives.

2 Hours Earlier: 3 AM Robin says, "Love is messy and complicated. When you're sure it's over, love saves your life.
Anthony asks Leyla to choose who must die and she tells him to shoot Patrick. Robin yells, "NO!", but Leyla runs in front of Patrick and is shot. Anthony can't understand why Maria would betray him again. He asks how many times he has to kill her. Patrick starts trying to beat him up, but Anthony quickly gets the upper hand and leaves. Robin tries to control the bleeding, and Patrick asks Leyla why she jumped in front of the gun. She admits that she made a bad decision, but Patrick tells her it will be alright. They bring her into another room. The bullet passed through right above the hip. They can only bandage it. Leyla tells Patrick she has no intentions of dying, while Robin has a daydream. When Patrick goes to get something, Robin thanks Leyla for being so brave and handling Anthony. Leyla says she knows that Robin wants Patrick back. She wants him, too, but not if he wants to be with Robin. Robin apologizes for taking her anger out on Leyla. She knows she didn't steal him away. Leyla appreciates the honesty and tells her she accepts her apology.

One Hour Earlier: 4 AM  Nikolas says, "You can love someone forever, yet lose them in a heartbeat."
As Leyla sleeps, Patrick and Robin talk about their past tumultuous relationship. They are both grateful for their relationship, but they realize they will be back to their separate lives tomorrow. Robin tells him that she still wants kids. She realizes that even more now after what has happened. She asks him if he's changed his mind now. He wishes he could say yes, but he has not changed his mind. He's not dad material. She's disappointed, but she doesn't regret what they had and will always love him. Patrick goes over and asks Leyla how she is doing. She says she is better, but Patrick mentions that she needs more pain medication. Robin offers to get some, but he doesn't want her to go alone. They all go to another room, with Patrick carrying Leyla as she passes out.

Nikolas comes to after passing out. He wakes up to find Emily lying on the floor with a noose around her neck. He starts to scream when he sees her. He goes over to her and tries to see if he can resuscitate her but it appears he is too late and Emily is dead.

Nikolas: "How do you live for love when the one you love is gone?"

As Luke has another heart attack, Tracy yells for help. Robin comes in to check on Luke. She notices the pill isn't helping him and shocks him with the defibrillator. After multiple shocks, Luke is back to normal. He actually tells Tracy to lighten up. Robin tells him he needs to take this seriously. If he has another heart attack, he will die. Tracy hears a helicopter approaching.
Finally at GH, Robin comes in and tells Sonny that a different doctor will be treating him, which he is okay with. Kate is just relieved that they are both alive. Robin watches as Leyla is brought in and Epiphany starts to help her. Robin goes to talk to Patrick and apologizes for deserting him. They compliment each other and comment how it's a miracle more people didn't die. One positive is that they were honest with each other. Robin says she is more at peace with their choices. Patrick tells her that if she wants a baby, she should go for it. He goes to talk to Leyla as Robin watches. He kisses her head when she tells him she doesn't know what she was thinking when she stepped in front of the bullet. Robin is taken aback to learn that Patrick accepted Mac's invitation to join the Scorpios for the holiday. Robin asks Patrick to bow out of her family gathering.

On the day of Emily's funeral, everyone tries to cope with their sadness. Jason attends Emily's funeral, but doesn't make his presence known. As Elizabeth delivers her heartfelt and emotional eulogy, she notices Jason listening from the vestibule.
