Caleb and Livvie #1 May 11 - July 25, 2001: Time In a Bottle/Tainted Love 8 hr original edit (Caleb/Livvie/Michael) Dvd #1A Time In a Bottle/Tainted Love Eve encounters a man chopping wood in the middle of the forest. Introducing himself as Michael, the stranger offers to help Eve find her way back to the Johnson cabin but she nervously insists she'll be fine on her own. 5/14 After walking in circles for more than an hour, Eve finally reaches the cabin and discovers Michael waiting for her there. 5/15 Michael reassures Eve that he was only waiting to make sure she got back to the cabin in one piece. Noting several nasty lacerations on her new acquaintance's arm, Eve invites Michael in so she can treat his wounds. 5/17 Eve packed her things and was prepared to leave when she encountered Michael outside of the cabin. He had brought her some fresh fruits and vegetables in gratitude for her tending to his wounds. Eve decided to make a meal of his gift and invited him inside to share some of the food he brought over. When she attempts to learn more about her guest, however, Michael shyly avoids answering any personal questions and simply wishes her a safe journey home. 5/18 After trailing Michael through the woods, Eve finds him sitting in an abandoned church and wearing the collar of a priest. 5/21 Startled to discover that Michael is a priest, Eve feels suddenly awkward around her new acquaintance. Eve sheepishly admits to Michael that she thought he was flirting with her back at the cabin. Explaining how he's been fixing up the old monastery as part of a vow he made to God, Michael asks Eve why she's on the run. 5/22 Following a long nap, Eve confides to Michael that she gets easily exhausted because she's pregnant. Glad to have a sympathetic ear in Michael, Eve explains why her lover doesn't know she's carrying his child. 5/25 At the cabin, Eve confides to Michael why she turned down Chris' marriage proposal and how terribly she misses the father of her unborn child. Michael advises Eve to use her talent and skills to do good works where she's needed most. Eve decides to make a fresh start for herself and her baby. 5/28 Though Eve was prepared to leave for a new adventure, she went back to the monastery and confessed to Michael that she had no clue how to start. She asked him if she could stay and help him with the restoration until she figured something out. Michael surprised her with his adamant refusal. He wouldn't give her good reasons for his denial though and Eve eventually got him to agree to let her stay for a few days. Alone, Michael prayed for Eve's safety and asked that nothing bad be allowed to touch her. 5/29 Eve looked around the monastery for Michael, but he didn't respond to her calls. She had come with a question about one of the places he suggested needed her medical expertise. As she waited for him in the monastary, cold air filled the room and Eve relit the candles when they blew out. She tried to get into another room thinking that Michael was inside, but the door was locked. She nearly jumped out of her skin when the door opened and Michael came out. He told her that he hadn't heard her calling and wouldn't let her see inside the room. He brought out a cradle that he had carved for her baby and told her that it would keep the baby safe in their travels. Eve didn't think she needed any protection, but Michael maintained that there was a lot of evil in the world and it didn't hurt to have a little extra help. Eve agreed, but wondered about his strange attitude. 5/31 Eve thanks Michael again for the beautiful hand-carved cradle he made. Showing Eve some research he did on a poor rural community deep in the Appalachian mountains, Michael suggests that his new acquaintance could be the answer to a prayer for the people of the isolated hamlet. 6/1 Michael wishes his visitor godspeed and Ian departs just as Eve finishes her packing. Eve confides to Michael how certain she was that she and her baby's father were destined to be together forever. 6/4 Shaken to learn that his brother has been roaming free, Michael reminds his sneering sibling that he must stay put for his own good. Ian thanks Michael for helping Eve in her hour of need. Back at the chapel, Eve can't resist sneaking a peek behind the door Michael always kept locked. As Livvie tearfully leans over her bloody and broken boyfriend, Jack whispers a last declaration of love (he was injured in a motorcycle racing accident). 6/5 Jamal and Alison try to gently pull a grieving Livvie away from Jack's lifeless body. After Alison admits how she prevented Jamal from entering the race, Livvie tearfully reminds her friend that saving one life resulted in the loss of another. An enraged Livvie accuses Alison of killing the man she loved. When Jamal explains how Zach set him up to take the fall for Jack's tragic crash, Livvie suggests that they cover up the fact that her boyfriend has died. Jamal hammers together a makeshift coffin and buries Jack in an empty field as Livvie vows to make Zach pay for his terrible crime. At the chapel, Ian locates Eve just before the shadowy figure creeps up behind her. Michael discovers the chapel trashed and his identical twin missing. 6/6 Eve and Ian stopped by the monastery to say a final good-bye to Michael and were shocked to see all of the destruction that had been done to the chapel. They could not believe why anyone would do such a thing and were even more stunned when Michael told them that it was his twin brother who had done the damage. When Eve asked Michael if he had notified the police he was very quick to tell them that the police could not be involved. Jamal, Livvie and Allison said their final good-byes to Jack and as Livvie left, she promised Jack that there would be justice. They stopped at a diner on their way home to regroup before going back home. Livvie hesitated leaving Jack behind and Jamal promised her that it would only be for a short time, and once they where able to prove that Zach was responsible for Jack's death, they would bring him back to Port Charles. As they got up to leave Livvie saw a sheriff walk in. She quickly sat back down as he approached their table asking if they knew who owned the car towing the wrecked bike. They had received a call from an angry farmer whose fence had been damaged. Jamal confessed that he had lost control of his bike and busted the fence. He continued asking them all questions as Allison and Livvie tried not to look or sound nervous. Livvie held her jacket closed to cover her blood stained shirt. He then noticed blood on Jamal's hand and Jamal covered it with a napkin and told him that he had hurt it when he wrecked. The sheriff seemed to believe his story and told him to be more careful next time and left the diner. Jamal sighed with relief and told the girls that was only the beginning of the questions. 6/7 After Michael explains to Ian why his violent brother is a danger to himself and others, Eve admits that she must have accidentally let Caleb out of the basement without even knowing he was there. Michael tells Eve and Ian he locked Caleb up to prevent him from destroying the monastery. Though his visitors suggest contacting the authorities, Michael insists that the police cannot be called in. Disclosing that he became a priest because of Caleb, Michael reveals that the bond he shares with his twin has made him feel responsible for his brother's actions. Jamal, Alison and Livvie return to the bike shop just as Chris arrives for a chat with his brother. Puzzled by Livvie's sharp tone and strange words, Chris demands that Jamal tell him where Jack went. 6/8 Jamal urges Alison to stop blaming herself for Jack's untimely death. Kevin and Lucy tell a wary Livvie they know all about her boyfriend leaving town. Kevin tries to console his tearful daughter but she makes a hasty excuse to depart. Sensing that Livvie's grief goes much deeper than the pain of getting dumped by a lover, Lucy warns Kevin the girl may be in more trouble than they know. Kevin and Lucy realize that Jack's wallet and all his belongings are still in his room behind the bike shop. In the monastery, Michael prays that his homicidal brother will do no harm while he's on the loose. Sitting alone in the woods, Livvie feels closer to the man she loved and lost. 6/11 Caleb happens upon Livvie sitting alone deep in the woods, then slips away from the girl without saying a word. Questioned by her suspicious father, Livvie claims that she and her friends caught Jack stealing from the bike shop and forced the young man to leave town in disgrace. Later, Livvie privately tells Jamal and Alison about her encounter with a stranger who seemed to recognize her somehow. Caleb trails Livvie to Lucy's place, where he looks longingly and creepily through the window, promising that this time everything will work out for him and Livvie. 6/12 Livvie mourns for Jack to a montage of scenes (she thinks Jack is dead).A jittery Livvie confides to Alison how she can't shake the creepy feeling that she's being watched. After Jamal glumly reports that Zach has outmaneuvered him once again, Livvie secretly arms herself with a switchblade. 6/13 Livvie approached Zach and he told her that he was surprised that she was alone. She told him that she was going to make him pay for killing Jack, and pulled out the knife. As she held the knife to his throat he taunted her to kill him, but could not do it. He broke lose from her grasp and told her that he knew she was not a mean person and grabbed her and started kissing her. Screaming and crying she managed to cut his face with the knife. Caleb makes a noise which distracts the guy and Livvie gets away. Zach turned around to find her and sees Caleb staring at him instead. When he asked who he was Caleb told him that they has business to take care of. Zach told him that if it was about the diamonds he didn't have them. Caleb told him that he had interest in something more precious than diamonds, and he was about to become Zach's worst nightmare. He questioned the blood on Zach's hands and face. He then told him that it was not nice to mistreat women, a certain women, pushed him up against the wall and grabbed him by the throat. Livvie ran to safety, fell to the ground and hysterically apologized to Jack for not being able to kill Zach. 6/14 Frank brings a DOA into the ER. He tells Chris that Zach wass found lying at the bottom of a ravine with a broken neck. After declaring Zach dead, Chris tells Frank that the young man didn't have a drop of blood left in his body. Livvie ran to safety, fell to the ground and cries over Jack. She feels a presence and turns around and finds Caleb. She wants to know why he is following her. He tells her that he is her future. He introduces himself as Caleb, and says she is Olivia. He declares that is the most beautiful name he knows, and that he can't take his eyes off of her. He states that she has felt his presence as she has felt his. He knows her soul and feels her heart beating and his heart beats to her rythm. He tells her that she has lost something precious and now she needs someone to take of her, to protect her. She says she doesn't understand, she seems drawn to him, but pulls away and says that she can't stay that she really shouldn't be talking to a stranger. She asks him to stop looking at her that way, why is he here? He says he wants to save her, to make her complete again and make that emptiness that she feels inside disappear forever. He comments that happiness has always alluded her, just out of reach. She says she has tried so hard, he tells her that she doesn't have to try anymore. He leans into kiss her, she seems completely in his spell until she hears Jamal and Allison calling her. She turns towards the sound of their voices and ask they appear, she turns around and Caleb is gone. 6/15 Livvie tells Jamal and Alison how Caleb has apparently been following her around for several days. Jamal looks around but doesn't find Caleb. They tell her that they went to tell the police about how Jack really died and how they buried him. Jamal assures Livvie he knows she had nothing to do with Zach's death, then asks the girl if she saw anyone else as she fled from the bikers' lair. As Livvie is grieving for Jack, he appears out of the mists. Caleb arrives back in the basement. He gets out a portrait of Olivia. He declares, "Soon, I will have my Olivia back. I have so many plans for you Olivia, for us." 6/18 Michael tells Caleb that he can't go, that he will stay there with Michael but Caleb declares this time he won't be stopped. Caleb locks Michael in the basement. In the woods, Livvie gasps to see Jack suddenly appear before her. She is frightened and thinks that she is losing her mind. He tells her there is something wrong with him, that he feels really sick and begs her for help. Finally convinced that the apparition is real, Livvie rushes to embrace Jack just as an astonished Alison and Jamal arrive on the scene. As Livvie clings to Jack, an incredulous Jamal reminds her and Alison how they buried their friend and sat by his grave all night. As Kevin and Lucy approach Livvie and the others, a nervous police officer advances on the group with gun drawn. 6/19 Jack assures his worried friends that he isn't hurt after the nervous rookie cop fires off a shot in their direction. After the police depart, Lucy and Kevin question Livvie about Jack's abrupt departure and miraculous reappearance. Jamal, Alison, Livvie and Jack return to the farmer's field and are amazed to find the grave blown open from the inside. 6/20 Jamal, Alison and Livvie took Jack back to the bike shop still amazed that he was really alive. Jamal was very disturbed by the whole situation. He knew Jack was dead when they buried him, and now he was standing there without a scratch on him. Jamal questioned Jack about everything that has happened to him but Jack told him that he didn't know how he got out of the coffin and couldn't remember anything. Frustrated by all of Jamal's questioning, Jack went outside to get some air. Caleb appeared lurking around the corner of the shop watching Jack. He whispered to himself that he was surprised that Jack had made it back so fast, but that it didn't matter. He began to approach Jack, but ducked back behind the shop when he saw Chris coming. Jack coldly greeted Chris as they walked back into the shop. Chris told him that he was concerned about him and had tried to find him. Chris made an inappropriate comment about Livvie and Jack grabbed him by the throat, pushed him up against a shelf and held him there. It took Jamal, Livvie and Alison to pull Jack off of Chris. Gasping for air, Chris angrily told Jack that he may be alive, but he was dead to him. After he left the shop Jamal told Jack that he had an iron grip on Chris, and wondered what was up? Again Jack had no answers for Jamal. Gaby ran into Caleb. He said hello to her and, staring hard at him, she asked him if she knew him. He replied that she would soon know him very well (Caleb turns Gabby into a vampire though we don't see this on screen). 6/21 At the Nurses Ball, Lucy reminds her guests how miracles can happen with enough research and enough compassion. Caleb later watches from the doorway as Gaby begins her burlesque routine. She starts off sedately, rather nervously, then the vamp takes over and she begins a very seductive strip tease to the shock of the audience. Joe runs up on stage and covers her up and carries her off before she completely bares all. Caleb watches approvingly from the shadows. Next up, Allison, Jamal, and Livvie perform "Love Potion #9". 6/22 As a pale Jack stumbles through an alley, an angry Sam, bent on revenge, greets him with three tough friends of hers and vows to make him pay for what happened to Zach. Insisting he did not kill Zach, Jack warns her to leave him alone. After savagely beating the thugs, a deranged Jack grabs Jamal when he arrives and throws him against a wall, knocking him out. Tired of waiting for Jack at the bike shop, Livvie leaves and unexpectedly runs into Caleb. He observes that Jack is not the man she fell in love with, that he is different. She wonders who he knows this and justifies that Jack had been through a terribly accident. She insists that she is in love with Jack. He tells her that Jack doesn't deserve her, that she deserves the world. He asks her to come see his world, a world where her every desire will be fullfilled. He holds out his hand, and asks her to come with him. He tells her she is not afraid of him, she allows him to take her hand and walks off with him. 6/25 Jack grows violent with a startled Lucy after pushing his way into her house and demanding to see Livvie. Caleb takes Livvie to his cave, she asks, "Where are we?" He tells her that she is home, as she sees a beautiful candlelit room. He tells her this is a place where nothing else matters, a place she belongs, a place where dreams come true. He promises to take care of all of her needs, all of her desires, that he wants her to be happy. He tells her he will never force her to stay, that he wants her to choose to stay, that he wants to be her protector. He says she has never felt this kind of desire, where every touch is like coming home. He urges her not to be afraid of it. She says she is not afraid of him. He tells her it was his kiss she felt when she woke up. That she has been waiting for him her whole life, that she will never want for anything with him, that she will never be afraid, and she will never be alone because he will always be with her. Pulling Livvie into his arms, Caleb promises his "Olivia" that they will always be together. He twirls her around, dancing together, he kisses her. She responds, then yanking away from his embrace, Livvie declares that she loves only Jack and flees out into the night. 6/26-6/27 Caleb stands in the sun with sunglasses, he urges himself to be patient that it is all knew for Olivia as she tries to deny her feelings for him. Flustered by her latest close encounter with Caleb, Livvie returns home and tries to put the eerie stranger out of her mind. At the hospital, Karen reports to Lucy that her patient required a blood transfusion which resulted in an amazing change in Jack's condition. Jack tells Lucy he has a vague memory of being attacked amidst a scene of total carnage. Alison and Jamal attempt to make Livvie understand that her boyfriend has changed drastically. Growing hostile and violent when Chris tries to draw blood for more lab tests, Jack again displays superhuman strength as he races away from the hospital. Livvie is thrilled to see Jack arrive safe and sound at her place. As she laid next to Jack on her couch, Livvie dreamt that she was lying there on the couch as she was with Jack, but it was Caleb next to she instead of Jack. She woke up screaming and saw Caleb standing in her doorway. She screamed for Jack and when she looked up again, the door was shut and Caleb was gone. Jack asked her to tell her about her nightmare and how she was sure the man in her dream was standing in the opened doorway staring at her when she woke up. It was something about the way he looked her in the eye that scared her. To assure her that no one was there, Jack opened the door and looked out in the empty hallway. After closing the door again. Caleb reappeared in the hall by her door and whispered to herself that he was really there, not a dream or hallucination, and he would be there until she was his. Ian and Eve free Michael from his basement prison. After Michael explains how his brother locked him in, Eve places an urgent call to the local police. Michael refuses to press charges against his twin and orders Ian and Eve to leave him and Caleb alone. 6/28 Ian and Eve return to the chapel to ask Michael if he would perform their wedding ceremony. To their surprise, however, the priest regretfully declines. He tells them that he cannot marry them because of his troubled twin. Michael admits to Ian and Eve that he can't leave the chapel until he's helped his brother get rid of his demons. Dvd #1B The couple later decide to get married there that very night, Michael agrees to marry them. When Livvie finds Jack in the woods, he screams at her to leave him alone. She falls and hits her head and Jack goes to her, worried she is hurt. Caleb shows himself and tells Jack that Livvie is his. Caleb tells Jack that he is a vampire as he shows Jack his fangs. Caleb tells him that Livvie is his destiny and will be his bride. Jack tells him to stay away from her or he will kill Caleb. 7/2 Caleb tells Jack about turning him, to flashbacks of Caleb biting him. They show Caleb attacking Jack in the woods and sucking the blood from him. Caleb welcomes him to the family and reminds him the blood transfusion that he had and how he felt more alive after receiving it. Caleb tells Jack that he made him a vampire but Jack is understandably suspicious. Caleb tells Jack that he doesn't like the term killing but instead calls it "harvesting" to satisfy his hunger. He also tells him that his first kill will make his transformation complete. Caleb tells Jack that he is his protégé and warns that there will be dire consequences if he doesn't leave Livvie alone. Alison and Livvie leave but are not getting along because of Jack. Alison says she needs to get away from Jack for a while because that is what Jack ask for. Livvie says that Alison is her best friend and she loves Jack and needs to help him to feel better again. Alison wants to take Livvie home but they turn around to go back. Caleb tells Jack that he will have to feast when the hunger overcomes him, that he won't truly become a vampire until he has had his first kill. Jack thinks he is crazy. Caleb shows his powers by disappearing right before Jack's eyes. Jack demands to know what Caleb wants? Caleb wants him to join him. Caleb tells him that Jack can have anything he wants. Jack wants Livvie. Caleb says you can have anything but her, that you can either forget about Olivia or die. Caleb advances on Jack with fangs bared but Livvie's reappearance forces Caleb to instantly retreat. At Gabby's, the candles are lit for a romantic evening. She remembers vividly her first encounter with Caleb through a flashback. Then he arrives at her front door and introduces himself. He takes her in his arms and once again sinks his teeth into her neck. Jamal asks Jack straight out if he's become a vampire. Alison attempts to convince Livvie to keep her distance from Jack. Jamal is floored when Jack confirms his worst fears. As Jack suddenly doubles up in pain, Jamal hesitantly offers him a pint of packaged blood he stole from the hospital. Later, Livvie tearfully confides her troubles to Kevin. Livvie agrees to move into the lighthouse for an extended visit with her dad. 7/4 Caleb returned to the monastery and flipped out when he saw that Olivia's wedding dress was gone. Michael explained that he had let Eve wear it when she married Ian. Caleb warned Michael that he would destroy Eve if he didn't have the dress back immediately. Caleb tells him that dress meant everything to him and that it is ruined. Caleb tells him he is off to kiss the bride. Michael tells him that he won't let him hurt Eve that if pushed far enough he will do anything it takes to protect Eve. Michael knows Caleb’s secret and can destroy him. Caleb gives him an ultimate, he will give Michael two hours and if the dress isn't back by dawn then "all hell will break loose". Michael hurried to the cabin and reluctantly asked Eve for the dress. He told them about the history of the dress had special meaning for Caleb and Eve gave it back. He tells them that the dress is the only thing Caleb has left of the woman he loved. Jamal and Jack were reeling over the incontrovertible proof of Jack's condition. Jack's first concern was protecting Livvie from himself, from finding out the truth, and mostly, from Caleb. Livvie and Alison came in as Jack mentioned Caleb and she asked how Jack knew him. Jamal covered and said that he had told Jack about Caleb. Jamal and Alison left them alone to talk. Jack demanded that Livvie stay away from Caleb, but he didn't tell her why he was so adamant. Livvie promised to keep Caleb at a distance and refused to let Jack keep pushing her away. They made love, but Jack was clearly still disturbed by everything he knew about himself. 7/5 Lucy is reading her Tarot cards and gets a card, "The Stranger". She looks at it curiously, then Caleb shows up at her door. He tells her he is lost and asks if he can come inside and look at a map or use her phone. She says no and recommends the gas station down the street. Lucy was very disturbed by Caleb's presence and quickly turned him away. Unable to get past Lucy, Caleb returned to Gaby for help in getting to Livvie. Caleb angrily warned Gaby not to continue to tell people about him. She told him that she was just telling Frank and Karen how special he made her feel. Caleb then began to charm Gaby and told her how bad he wanted to be with Livvie, and that she was going to help him. Jamal tried to talk to Jack about how that could protect Livvie from Caleb. With a wooden stake and mallet in hand Jack told Jamal that he was going to kill Caleb himself. Jamal warned Jack of the danger in that, but Jack was determined to stop Caleb at any cost. Jack knew that this meant that he would have to kill someone else first, and when Jamal asked who that was going to be Jack told him that he wasn't sure, but it would be someone who deserved it. As Jamal tried to keep Jack from leaving, Jack became angry and threw him against the wall knocking him out. Walking out into the alley Jack ran into Sam. Jack snickered and told Sam that he was just talking about her, and started walking towards her. As Gaby went to Kevin's door to talk with Livvie, Caleb waited in the bushes. 7/6 Gaby talks her way into the lighthouse. Gaby tells Livvie about the mesmerizing new guy in her life. Gaby's description of her "soul mate" rings some hauntingly familiar bells for Livvie. Sam shakily assures Jack she won't cause him any more trouble. Later, Jack tells a relieved Jamal that despite his thirst for human blood he let Sam escape unharmed. Jamal and Jack return to the occult bookstore in hopes of learning some way to stop Caleb which won't involve the destruction of innocent lives. Michael tracks his brother down at the cave but Caleb calmly informs the priest he cannot stop what has already been set in motion. Caleb explains to a horrified Michael that Olivia will come to him and they will be a family. He says that he will then take Eve's baby after it is born. Livvie is drawn back to Caleb's lair. 7/9 Desperate to keep Livvie safe, Jack urges a horrified Jamal to put him out of his misery before he turns into a full-fledged vampire and harms the woman he loves. An agitated Jack admits to Jamal that he doesn't know how much longer he can control his overwhelming desire to kill. Jamal and Jack plot their next move against Caleb and realize they must first find the fiend's special talisman. Livvie enters the cave and finds Caleb waiting for her. She wonders how he knew she was coming there. He says he knows her, he knows every beat of her heart. She says she kept thinking about him, and just found herself coming there even though everyone warned her to stay away from him. He says she wants him as much as he wants her. She disagrees and says she is very much in love with Jack and is very happy with him. She tells him that Gabby told her about a man she met, that sounded very much like him. She wants to know if he is seducing women all over Port Charles. He inquires if she is jealous and tells her there is no one but her. She says the way he talks to her, the way he looks at her its like she has known him forever. He tells her that all she has to do is say the word and he will give her the world. He points out that she is there with him, not with Jack. She admits she didn't tell Jack that she was coming to see Caleb. He says it is Caleb's face in her dreams, that she only loves Jack with a school girl's feelings but she loves him with a woman's passion. He reaches out and puts his hands on the side of her face and urges her to let go as he slowly, seductively kisses her neck. He softly urges her to forget about everything else, forget about what everyone says, to forget about Jack. She pulls away and says no, this isn't right. He reassures her that he won't force her, that he wants her to come to him willingly, without the thought of any other man. He wants her completely body and soul, a complete surrender. She says he is asking too much of her. He says it is just not time yet, that she isn't ready but he is willing to wait till the time is right as he knows it will come. 7/10 In the cave, Caleb boasts to Michael how Livvie came to see him once again. Michael reminds his sneering twin that the unholy family he's planning to put together will only lead to another disaster. Michael reminds Caleb that Olivia didn't show up for their wedding as Caleb killed her! Michael says that before Livvie, that Caleb had found some peace. Caleb says no that he was just waiting, he says he is the last of their family. Michael says no that the family has to die with him and he won't let Caleb take Eve's baby. Caleb realizes that Michael has feelings for Eve. Turning a deaf ear to Michael's warning, Caleb insists that he will perpetuate the bloodline at all costs. Michael goes to Port Charles. At the hospital, Gaby bumps into the priest and mistakes him for his brother. Michael finds Eve and she happily tells him she is having a boy. She invites Michael to stay with her, and he agrees to stay with her for just a few days. He promises himself that he will keep her and her baby safe. Livvie admits to an agitated Jack that she went willingly to Caleb's lair. Jack warns Livvie that Caleb is pure evil. Jamal finally manages to get the stolen blood to Jack. 7/11 Ian set a romantic candlelight dinner for Eve, but his mood was quickly spoiled when she came home, and Michael was with her. He was even more surprised to hear that he would be staying with them for a few days. Alone in his room, Michael looked around, locked the door and then pulled out a necklace. Holding it up, he whispered to himself that it was over for Caleb, and that the necklace would keep Eve and her baby safe. Jamal pulled out his book on Vampires and began to read about. The book told him about a charm that would protect a person from a vampire. He looked at a picture of the charm and wondered where he could get one. Eve was flattered when Michael gave her the necklace, but Ian was a little more skeptical. He asked Michael what that necklace represented and Eve quickly told him that it was his family's crest. Michael then told them that he gave it to Eve as a good luck charm too keep her and the baby safe from any dangers. Ian then asked Michael if Eve was in danger of his brother; Michael hesitated and then told him no. The necklace has special powers to protect against vampires. Livvie walked into Jack’s room as Jack was finishing a bag of blood. In a panic, Jamal through a blanket over Livvie's head to give Jack time to put the back away. Furious with him, Livvie demanded to know what was going on, and why Jack and Jamal has so many secrets lately. Jamal tried to shrug it off as a joke, telling her that he was trying to ease the stress that they had all been under. Jack then grabbed Jamal's backpack and told Livvie that they where ready to go. Livvie asked Jack if leaving town was really the best solution. He assured her that it was the right thing to do, and that he also knew the perfect place to go. As Jack led Livvie into the monastery, she admired its beauty and asked Jack how he found a place like this. He told her that Jamal had told him that it was where Eve and Ian had gotten married, and how secluded it was. He told her that it was the perfect place to keep her safe. While Livvie sleeps, Jack begins exploring the old monastery and is horrified to realize that he and his girlfriend have stumbled into Caleb's main haunting ground. Caleb seems amused to find Jack at the church. Jack is surprised that Caleb is in a church. Caleb debunks all of the vampire myths about not being able to go into church, or eat garlic, or be out in the sunlight. Jack observes that Caleb can't kill in the presence of love and that is why he didn't kill Jack last time as Livvie was there and he couldn't. Caleb agrees but smugly points out that Livvie isn't there now is she? He throws Jack up against a wall and shows his fangs. They fight and Caleb is killing Jack until Livvie calls Jack's name. Caleb suddenly disappears. Describing her dream to Alison, Livvie confides that she still finds herself torn between her boyfriend and the mysterious man who occupies nearly every waking thought. Meanwhile, Jack explains to an astounded Jamal how Caleb has made the old monastery into his headquarters. Caleb returns to Gaby's place and hisses at her to swear that she hasn't betrayed him. Gaby is startled to realize that the priest she encountered at General Hospital was Caleb's identical twin. Recalling how she caught Jamal stealing from the blood bank, Gaby tells Caleb she's certain Jack's friend has been helping him grow stronger. Later, Caleb orders Gaby to lure Jamal into the vampire's web, he wants to turn him so that he can control him. Feigning an ankle injury, Gaby cons Jamal into taking her back to her place. As he begins to caress Livvie, Jack glances at his own reflection in the mirror and is horrified to see that he's suddenly grown fangs. Anxious to get clear of Livvie before she notices the new dental addition, Jack pushes his startled girlfriend roughly away and flees out into the night. Hiding his face in the shadows, Jack tells Alison he needs to see Jamal right away. 7/16 Gaby spins a yarn for Jamal about being chased by an eerie stranger. Gaby deliberately inflicts a wound on her own arm, then attempts to lure Jamal close enough to mingle their blood. Though Jack begs Alison to leave him alone, she urges him to tell her what's wrong. When Alison stubbornly persists, Jack turns to face her and bares his fangs at his rattled friend. A weeping Livvie tells Kevin and Lucy how Jack walked out on her. Later, Livvie spots the sketch her father made and wonders why Kevin has a picture of Caleb on his desk. 7/17 Livvie asks Kevin and Lucy why they have a picture of Caleb. Kevin and Lucy are shocked, and finally Lucy asks if he’s Livvie’s mystery date. Livvie tells them that the drawing is of the guy she was just telling them about. Kevin informs her that her friend has been busy around town murdering people. Jack knows Alison has questions. The first one is the obvious. She asks if he’s a vampire, and he says that he isn’t yet. Alison is convinced that it’s a mistake as vampires don’t exist. But Jack had been forced to believe that kind of evil is very much alive in Port Charles. Jamal is almost done with Gabi's arm, and she leans closer. As she gets close to his neck, she stops, and Jamal looks up at her and asks her what’s up. For a minute, he thought she was going to kiss him. Gabi tells him that he’d better leave. As she closes the door behind Jamal, Gabi can’t believe that she couldn't do it and doesn’t understand. She asks herself why, and Caleb answers. He’s very disappointed. This was her first big test, and she blew it. He asks her what he’s going to do with her now. Livvie’s convinced that it’s a mistake, and Caleb isn’t a murderer. Kevin tells her that Caleb was last seen with one of the victims, but Livvie isn’t convinced. Hearing Lucy say that Caleb came to the lighthouse and gave her the creeps doesn’t convince her either. Livvie’s voice grows louder as she points out that if he was some crazed killer, he would have just let himself in. Caleb is very sweet and has always been a gentleman with her. Lucy reminds her that ‘gentleman’ is always the word they use to describe killers. They’re always sweet and caring while their digging graves in their backyards. Kevin wants Livvie to understand how serious this is. He questions her about how she met him. Livvie tells them about meeting Caleb at the river, how nice he was, how much better he made her feel, and how Caleb told her they have a future together. Lucy wants to know how Livvie knows he’s so harmless. Still not believing them, Livvie tells them that if Caleb wanted to kill her, he’s had plenty of chances. Caleb is really very sweet. As if realizing something, Lucy asks her if she’s falling in love with Caleb. Kevin stares at Lucy as if she’s lost her mind as Livvie answers that she still loves Jack. She admits that she can’t get Caleb off her mind, and that scares her. Kevin’s heard enough. He’s going to call the police and tell them there’s a killer after his daughter. Livvie is furious, and she feels that Kevin is overreacting. Lucy tries to smooth things over with Livvie. Livvie just admitted that she has strange feelings about him, and after everything they’ve told her, Livvie is still protecting him. Lucy asks Livvie what kind of hold Caleb has over her, and Livvie can’t answer. Caleb reminds Gabi that Jamal supplied Jack with blood from the hospital, and that’s wrong. He gave her instructions to turn him on, what didn’t she understand. Gabi is frustrated with herself, and she tells Caleb that she was looking forward to turning him into one of them. Caleb accuses her of snacking between meals, and she denies it. Swearing she’ll do better next time, she’s frightened when Caleb talks about how much potential she had. He has to decide what to do with her. Alison realizes that this is how Jack came back from the dead, but she can’t believe she’s saying this. It explains everything. Jack is in pain, and he tells her that whatever she’s thinking, he’s thought it and worse. But the only person who can’t know is Livvie. The pieces come together in Alison’s mind. When Livvie couldn’t find him in the woods, Jack admits that’s when he was attacked. Now she knows why he is sick all the time, and why Jamal is reading all these vampire books. As she begins to get angry at Jamal for not telling her, Jack tells her he was freaked out, he was ashamed, and he begged Jamal to not tell anyone. Alison is offended. She’s not an airhead whose only concern is where to get a manicure. Not anymore. She’s learned how to fight for her friends and the people that she loves and she considers Jack to be one of those people. Jack can’t explain how much that means to him. She asks him if there’s still hope, and Jack tells her that he doesn’t get his ‘vampire badge’ until he ‘feeds.’ Until he… Jack can’t finish the sentence, but a stunned Alison finishes for him. “Kills someone.” Staring at him, Alison asks him if he was going to bite her. Gabi pleads with Caleb to let her make it up to him. She’ll do anything he wants her to do. Looking her over, he remains silent as she begins to take off her clothes. Caleb accuses her of backing off Jamal because it would bring Caleb closer to Olivia. Admitting she wants to be the only one, Gabi knows why Olivia is so important to him and the family he wants to start. Olivia is the one, but Gabi will always be important to him. As he reaches for her neck, she promises to help him, and begs him to forgive her. Caleb’s always been a sucker for a pretty throat, and he gives her one more chance. She wants him to show her that he forgives her. Moving closer, Caleb kisses her neck for a moment before he steps away, taking her hand and kissing it. Taking her hand, he digs a gash in his wrist, which Gabi can’t wait to take into her mouth. Livvie continues to try to tell Lucy that Caleb is harmless, not a bad person, and not a murderer. Kevin wants her to run screaming down the street the next time she sees him, and Livvie refuses. Lowering his voice, Kevin tells her that he understands that Caleb is hypnotic, but that’s what serial killers are like. They lure their victims in with their personality. Before Kevin can finish, Livvie is insulted that Kevin thinks she’s that stupid. Once again, Lucy tries to diffuse the situation. She asks Livvie if she can just avoid the guy until she and Kevin can check him out. Just to be fair. Livvie isn’t sure she can. Kevin tried reasoning, now he forbids Livvie from seeing Caleb. He threatens to handcuff her to his side to keep her away from Caleb. This completely infuriates Livvie, and she reminds him that she’s an adult, and she can do whatever she wants to do. Lucy knows this is a wrong move, and she tries to stop Kevin by dragging him out of the room. Standing, Jack tells Alison that he hasn’t taken blood from anybody. Alison knows that he’s been drinking blood, and Jack admits that Jamal has been getting it from the blood bank. Suddenly Alison realizes what Jack has been going through. The pain and the fear are making him lose it. Jack thought he had it under control, but tonight, with Livvie, his fangs came out. Alison agrees that it would ruin the moment. It’s breaking Jack’s heart to push her away, and he’s convinced that she hates him. Alison tells Jack that Livvie has been tearing herself apart thinking that the problem is her. He has to tell her. But Jack believes that telling her will only put her in more danger from Caleb. Alison wants to know what Caleb has to do with this, and Jack admits that he’s the guy that bit him in the woods. Now Alison is mad. Jack has known the entire time that the guy that’s been following Livvie around is a vampire and didn’t say anything to her. Alison asks him if becoming a vampire has made him stupid. Caleb is in the alley, and is not happy to find Michael. Telling Michael that he’s cramping his style, he wants to know how Michael found him. Michael keeps tabs on him, whether he likes it or not. Caleb likes an audience, but shouldn’t Michael be on his knees somewhere? Even if it means following Caleb around for the rest of his life, Michael won’t let him hurt anyone else. But Caleb is finally stronger than Michael, and the days of being controlled by him are over. If Michael challenges him, Michael will regret it. Lucy is in the hospital lobby and she hears a voice on the TV saying that the mark of a true vampire is hypnotic and seductive. The voice on the TV continues to remind the audience that vampires cannot enter a home without being invited. Staring at the screen, Lucy asks herself if Caleb could be a vampire. Kevin shuts the door to his office behind him and Livvie apologizes to Kevin. She knows he’s only trying to look out for her. Kevin apologizes as well, but tries to tell her that he’s had personal experience with this kind of thing. If he’s right, Livvie can’t be gallivanting around with the neighborhood stalker. Livvie is furious again. Who she sees is her business, and Kevin can’t run her life. Going out the door, Livvie announces that she’s leaving. Victor is at the door, and Livvie’s glad, but Victor isn’t alone. There is an orderly behind Victor, who is not there to help Livvie. Kevin basically pleads with Livvie that she is his whole life, and he has to protect her. Victor explains to Livvie that Caleb attacked a good friend of his who went into cardiac arrest and died after seeing a picture of Caleb. Livvie tells Kevin this isn’t fair, but Kevin tries to convince her that part of being a father is protecting their child, even when they don’t want to be protected. With a look of almost hatred, Livvie tells him that she’s leaving, and he can’t stop her. Kevin tells her that she’s going with Victor. Livvie asks Kevin if he thinks she’s lost her mind and she can’t believe Kevin has this little faith in her. Not giving up, Kevin tells her that the only place she’ll always be safe is with her family. Livvie begs Kevin not to do this, but Kevin tells her that even though he loves her with all his heart, he has to do this. Telling Kevin she hates him, Livvie leaves with Victor. Alison tries to convince Jack that Caleb is pulling Livvie’s strings, and she needs to know what she’s up against. Fangs and all. Jack’s afraid the truth will scare Livvie away, and he’s not losing her. He believes he and Jamal will find a way to get rid of Caleb before Caleb gets to Livvie. Alison wants to know if Jack’s worried about Livvie being scared of Caleb or him. Jack saw the look on Jamal’s and Alison’s faces when they saw him, and he couldn’t bear to see it on Livvie’s. He worries if Livvie finds out, he could lose her forever. Alison tells him how much Livvie loves him, and tries to convince him that it will not change. Caleb is getting to Livvie, and the only reason Livvie isn’t with Caleb is her love for Jack. Jack hopes Alison’s right about Livvie’s love for him being strong and real. Alison knows she’s right. She would bet on love any day. Moving closer, Alison hugs Jack. As Jack hugs her, Jamal sneaks up on them with a rock and his stake. 7/18 Livvie is in her room at the hospital with Victor. Livvie remembers Caleb whispering about how he knows what’s inside her, and how he turned her to face him. It’s like she’s known him forever. Her memories are interrupted by Victor offering her tea, and Livvie tells him unless it’s the key to the door, take it away. She asks him why he’s helping Kevin. Victor tells her that Kevin is trying to protect her from Caleb. Livvie insists they’re wrong about Caleb, and she’s going to see him again, no matter what any of them think. Victor tries to explain to her that some people aren’t what they seem. They don’t know who Caleb is and Kevin is gong to find the answers. Michael isn’t intimidated; he’s through allowing Caleb to hurt innocent people. Caleb knows that Michael is protecting Eve most of all. Caleb is amused that Michael is so by the book. Michael won’t let Caleb form some twisted family with Eve’s baby and Livvie. Michael informs Caleb that he’s moved in with Eve and Ian in order to protect them. Caleb asks if Ian knows he has the hots for Eve. Michael will do whatever it takes to protect Eve. Caleb accuses him of being in love with her. Thinking Jack is attacking Alison, Jamal attacks him while Alison screams at him to stop. The guys begin to fight while Alison is still screaming. Jack pushes Jamal away before he hurts him. Jack is swearing that he wasn’t going to hurt Alison. Alison is screaming and trying to stop them. Jamal says she doesn’t know what she’s dealing with, but Alison tells him she does. Jack told her the whole story, and she was just hugging him. Jamal apologizes, but Jack isn’t angry. He is hungry and he needs blood. Taking the blood from Jamal, Jack runs into the woods. Jamal asks Alison if she’s okay, and Alison tells him how bad she feels for Jack. Returning, Jack decides that he needs to get back to Livvie at his place. Jamal tells him that he went by there, but Livvie isn’t there. They come to the conclusion that Caleb has her. Michael believes you can love someone without lusting after or owning them. Caleb thinks he’s hopeless, and he knows more about love than Michael will ever know. He loves Olivia, and she’ll make a beautiful bride. Michael believes that if Caleb really loved her, he wouldn’t do this to Olivia. Caleb tells Michael that he’s doing it for both of them. Olivia wants him just as much as he wants her. Michael asks if Olivia would want Eve’s baby, but Caleb reminds him that they can’t have their own child. They can’t create life. Michael says he can only destroy it, but Caleb tells Michael to save his lecture. He can’t beat him, but he can join him. He wants Eve, Caleb wants the baby. Maybe they can work together. Jack, Alison, and Jamal are at hospital, trying to find Livvie, and they go to Kevin’s office. Kevin wants to know why none of them bothered to mention Livvie was being stalked. At first, he refuses to tell them where Livvie is, but finally admits to them that he locked her up. Lucy knew telling them was a mistake, and, sure enough, the kids freak out. They try to convince them that Livvie isn’t safe there. Jack knows that Caleb can get to her. Kevin’s doesn’t believe him. In a panic, Jack says that all Caleb needs is to be invited inside the hospital. Lucy’s is shocked, and whispers that Caleb is a vampire. Jack admits it’s true, but Kevin won’t believe him. Telling Kevin that what Lucy said is true, he says that Caleb is a vampire. Caleb asks Michael to join him again, but Michael wants no part of child stealing. Knowing how Michael’s going to react, Caleb asks him if he would if it meant he’d get Eve to satisfy his carnal desire. This infuriates Michael, and he attacks Caleb. The screen goes black as a man screams. A quick shot of Michael lying unconscious on the ground. Victor tries to talk to Livvie, but she’s not interested. Caleb is still running through her mind. Memories of the cavern where he talked about not forcing her, wanting her to come willingly to him, and that he wants nothing less than all of her. She remembers him telling her that he’s willing to wait for that perfect moment because it will come. Kevin accuses Lucy of calling them again. Jack tells Kevin that Lucy is right, Caleb is a vampire. Kevin still refuses to let them see Livvie. Jack wants to take her to the lighthouse, and Lucy agrees that it’s a good idea. They all try to convince Kevin that the lighthouse is safe because Caleb can’t enter it. Lucy refused to invite him. Kevin doesn’t want to hear it from any of them. Approaching Jack, Kevin states that he is Livvie’s father, and he’ll protect her. Jack turns to go get Livvie himself, but Kevin grabs him. Meaning to just shove him away, Jack throws Kevin across the room to the ground. Lucy runs to Kevin, while Jamal runs to Jack, whose fangs are showing. 7/19 After giving Jamal the bum's rush, Gaby faces a disapproving Caleb. Gaby swears to Caleb that she'll do better next time. Caleb and Gaby share a snack. Michael had gone to tell Caleb that he would not be able to harm Eve or the baby, and had even moved it with them to be sure of their safety. Caleb told Michael that he would not stand in that way of him finally having a family. Caleb went on to taunt Michael about how he was really lusting after Eve and if they worked together, he could have the baby, and Michael could have Eve. Furious to hear Caleb say this, Michael lunged at him, but after their scuffle, Michael was lying unconscious in the alley. Caleb goes to Eve's, and asks her to invite him in. He says he is looking for his brother. He says he would like to be her friend, he then stares at her stomach which creeps her out and she quickly shuts the door. Then a bit later she looks out to see if he is gone and steps outside of her apartment. She finds him still lurking there. He tells her he isn't the monster that his brother makes him out to be. He grabs her, and she says "Let go of me!" and pulls away. He flinches as he feels the power of the necklace, and says that Michael gave it to her. Caleb says to himself he will still figure out a way even though Eve is wearing the family crest necklace to protect her. Michael arrives shortly thereafter and Eve upset to hear of his fight with his own brother, helps him in quickly. Eve tells him that Caleb was there earlier. He is worried that she asked him in and she says no but he scared her with the way he talked about the baby. He tells her she doesn't have to worry that he won't let Caleb hurt her. He pulls her into his arms in a comforting embrace. Ian comes home to find Eve in Michael's arms. Jack bursts in forcibly removing Livvie from Victor's custody and takes her back to the lighthouse for safekeeping. Jack tells Livvie that Caleb is a vampire but Livvie becomes more and more forcibly disbelieving of Jack as well as defensive of Caleb and refuses to listen to another word of his disgusting lies about Caleb. Hurt, Jack withdraws. Livvie is drawn outside and hears a voice behind her wishing her a good evening. Meanwhile Jack looking up sees Caleb standing behind her but is quickly made helpless when he is hit with a tranquilizer dart by Chris. 7/20 Eve jumps out of Michael’s arms and into Ian’s, once he makes his flower-laden entrance. She tells Ian about Caleb’s visit and how he hurt Michael. Ian glares at the good Father. When Eve leaves the room, Ian admits to Michael with no remorse that he checked up on his past and is aware that he came to the monastery to hide his brother. When Michael tries to assure Ian of his good intentions toward Eve, he is reminded in no uncertain terms that it’s not his place to protect Ian’s family. Ian tells Michael that he has to go. Now. When Eve rejoins them, Michael makes an excuse about leaving, but Ian comes out with the truth. Eve chases Michael into the hall to say goodbye. He tells her that her friendship means the world to him, but that it’s not meant to be. He makes her promise not to take off the necklace he gave her. Kevin is relieved and happy to find Livvie safe, back at the lighthouse. Livvie pushes Kevin away when he tries to hug her. She announces that she is tired of everyone running her life and trying to control her. She angrily tells her father that the only reason she returned to his house is because Jack told her it was the safest thing to do and she trusts him. Kevin tries to justify his actions and Lucy intercedes on Livvie’s behalf. When Livvie and Jack talk alone, she wants to know why he keeps pushing her away. She doesn’t want to believe that Caleb is dangerous and is very upset when Jack says that he must destroy Caleb. She won’t agree to his warning not to leave the lighthouse. When she still fights him on this, he just comes right out and tells her Caleb is a vampire. She won’t hear any of this, and Jack’s face turns to anguish as she tells him how vile, sickening and disgusting the thought of that is, someone drinking human blood. Jack knows that he can’t tell her the truth about himself now. Livvie has thrown Jack out and they hear the door slamming. Kevin takes off running with Lucy close behind. Caleb is in the doorway of Livvie’s room and she is out on the patio. Jack is below, standing on the ground when Chris shoots him with the tranquilizer gun. He tries to strangle a perplexed Chris, who has given him enough drugs to knock out an elephant and utters a desperate “LIVVIE!” before finally passing out. Kevin bursts into Livvie’s empty room with an anguished “She’s gone!” 7/23 Livvie woke up in a long white silk gown in a beautiful villa as Caleb came to welcome her to "their home." Livvie asked what Caleb meant by their house; they don't know each other. She said she liked the house but how did she get there? Caleb told her she fainted as she was so upset and he wanted to take her some place peaceful and beautiful where he could take care of her. He tells her he planned the villa with her mind, the things that she might like. She says that it is amazing. He urges her to let go of the past, to let go of the future, to just leave in the now and experience all that feels good as he softly strokes her. He realizes she still isn't sure, he says that her heart is a precious thing and shouldn't be given away freely. Livvie asked if Caleb is a vampire. Caleb acts incredulous that she would ask such a question but Livvie quickly agrees that he doesn’t look at all like a monster to her. Livvie told Caleb she needed to be in PC with her family but Caleb said she wasn't happy with her family the previous night and what they did to her. He wants her to get to know him as he gets to know her, he wants her to stay with him for a week. She worries about her family and Jack. He says they need to know they can't control her. He asks her to give him one week so he can show her the possibilities and urges her that she has everything to gain and nothing to lose. Chris taunted Jack until Jack nearly broke out of the electrified cage. Chris, afraid thinking that he had electrocuted Jack, reached in to attempt to revive his brother, but was wrong. 7/24 At the lab, Jack bares his fangs at his frightened brother, who tries to fend him off with a hammer but only serves to further enrage his attacker. Chris finally manages to escape from Jack's clutches and once again locks his brother in the electrified cage. Dazzled to realize that he may have stumbled upon the secret of eternal life, Chris begins to salivate at the thought of the millions he'll make. Oozing charm, Caleb coaxes Livvie to give him seven days and nights to make her the happiest woman on earth, that she will know what it is like to be loved. She almost gives in but says no, how can he ask her to do this when he knows she loves Jack. When she invokes her boyfriend's name, however, Caleb becomes angry, he grabs her and tells her strongly that Jack means nothing to her and he doesn't want to hear anymore about Jack. She cries that he is hurting her. He immediately lets go and says he is sorry, but he has so much to offer her. He tells her that he has had the dream of her for so long that the thought of it not coming true is almost too much to bear. He asks her to forgive him if sometimes his emotions get the best of him. He says these people she cares so much about have disappointed her time and again. He reassures Livvie into believing that her family and friends perhaps are undeserving of such loyalty from her. Livvie admits to Caleb how long she's yearned to be part of a normal family. Alison and Jamal show Kevin the cave where his daughter has been meeting with the new man in her life. 7/25 Chris continued to taunt and tease Jack as her grew weaker inside the cage. He told him that he would only give Jack enough blood to feed, and not grow stronger. Jack told him that he was signing Livvie's death sentence by keeping him locked up, and asked Chris what he was going to do about it. Chris replied that he wasn't going to do anything and then told Jack that he was leaving for a few minutes but would be back. Jack was furious with Chris and knew he had to find a way out. Chris returned, still making crewel remarks to Jack as he walked into the room but was shocked to see the door to the cage opened and all of the blood gone. Jack appeared from behind and told him that he had helped himself to dinner and was feeling much better. Terrified, Chris tried to reason with Jack, but Jack told him that it was too late for that. As Chris ducked to try to escape, Jack grabbed him by the neck. As Lucy and Kevin walked in they found Jack strangling Chris. Caleb senses that she’s hungry and returns with her favorite foods. She’s surprised that he’s so aware of her needs as well as her favorites. He assures her that he knows everything about her as he feeds her an orange asking only that she focus on them and on everything that feels good. He says he knows how hard it is to turn away from all of the things she has believed in, but if she takes that leap of faith she will experience the impossible. She is torn, he begs her to tell him what will make her the most happy, what does she want more than anything else? She says it doesn't matter that he can't do it, can't make it come true, that no one can. He asks her again for a week and kisses her. She tells Caleb that he isn't the first man to make her promises. He asks her to imagine something she never thought could be and then asks her to open her eyes. She sees Rachel, her mother standing in front of her (her mother has been in a non-responsive coma). Livvie runs into her mother's arms, crying how much she missed her. Rachel tells her it is because Caleb knew that Livvie wanted this more than anything and Caleb brought her to Livvie. Livvie wants to know how long she can stay, that so many people out there want Rachel punished. Rachel assures her that she is fine as long as she is there, that Caleb will insure that no one can find her. Rachel tells her she is completely cured and things can go back to the way they used to be. Rachel told her that she was all well, and it was now their time to be together. She also told her that the family curse that had plagued her, her Aunt Grace and her Grandmother was now broken, and that Livvie would always have the balanced mind and heart that she had right now. Livvie wants her mother back for good. Rachel says she can't stay but promises that she will be back very soon and she will stay forever. Rachel tells her that if Livvie wants it bad enough that they will be together forever, thanks to Caleb. She told Livvie to believe this with all her heart, and wait there with Caleb until she returned. They say their goodbyes. After Rachel left, Livvie rushed to Caleb's arms thanking him for giving her back her mother. She tells him that all of the questions, all of the doubts she had are gone. She told him that since he gave her the thing that she had most wanted, she would now give him what he had asked for. She will stay the week with him, that she trusts him with all of her heart. He tells her that she has made him so happy. Caleb continued to charm Livvie and told her that now he is going to share something else very special, something very rare with her and began kissing her neck. As a nurse cared for Rachel, who was lying silently in a hospital bed staring blankly at the ceiling; she sympathetically commented that it was such a shame that Rachel hadn't even left her room since the day she had been brought in. |
