Sonny and Luke rescuing Lucy. Sonny kills Joe Scully, and Mike has been shot. The 3 then work to save him and rush Mike to GH. Now comes one of my faves. Lucy goes home to her apartment where Kevin is asleep, fully dressed. Lucy tells Kevin everything. He asks her to stay out of danger, she says she'll change…LOL Afterwards they make love and then Lucy goes off to find out why Damian helped her after setting her up. He says he never wants her physically harmed. Lucy goes home and Kevin is there, on the phone in search of Stone. Kevin and Lucy make love and then go to see Mary Mae at "Lukes". Kevin is upset about Lucy looking for danger and also about Stone's condition. The next day Kevin tells Stone that he is HIV positive, while Lucy gets nervous about an ELQ board meeting. Robin comes to see Kevin about Stone's illness. Bobbie comes to Kevin for a counseling session. Lucy makes it through the board meeting, but Stone and Robin are having a rough time dealing with his AIDS. Kevin and Alan tell Stone his options. He has a virulent strain. Robin tests negative, for now! It is the anniversary of BJ's death. Lucy plants pansies at her grave. Then Kevin and she want to spend time alone, but Alan needs help with Stone. Damian rings Lucy's bell and tells her he wants to be friends again. Bobbie visits Kevin's office again. She thinks it is time to resume a "real" marriage with Tony. Kevin's office is a busy place. Sonny stops by to learn more about Stone's AIDS and how to help him. It's time for Lois and Ned's wedding, but Lucy has to go to Grasse, France. These K&L scenes are hysterical. She packs and Kevin watches. He goes without her on the Q boat to Brooklyn with all the other PC wedding guests (actually N&L wedding not included but I have it on my N&L tapes). While this is happening, Damian brings a psychic, Madame Maia, to town for the sole purpose of breaking up Kevin and Lucy. Kevin returns to PC and heads straight to Lucy's where she is working on the Nurse's Ball. The next morning she makes him breakfast and they discuss psychics, especially Madame Maia. She also tries to convince him to perform at the NB, but he says he won't. Damian is having lunch with John Hanley. Lucy joins them. Damian will underwrite the NB again this year, against Lucy's better judgment. She then runs around town getting acts. Lucy runs into Madame Maia. Afterwards, when she meets Kevin for dinner that is all she talks about. The next morning she finally watches the tape of Serena that Scott had sent her in December. At another dinner she is able to convince Kevin and Tony to join Alan at the NB in the "Wizard of Oz" skit. She also tells Kevin that she is singing a duet with Damian because if she does he will donate $50,000 more. All of this puts Kevin in a lousy mood so she suggests going to Luke's to unwind. There they run into Tom Hardy. It is a very funny scene.
It is the 1995 Nurse's Ball. In my opinion it is the best of the 7. It
is the famous one with Lucy's strip tease and Kevin as the Scarecrow.
After enjoying the NB you get lots of scenes of K&L enjoying each
other. As a result of Damian's behavior at the NB, Kevin wants to rip
Damian's lungs out, but Lucy calms him down and they make love. The next
morning over "boring bagels" in bed they make love again. July 4th and Bobby has a session with Kevin. Then they go to the park and meet all the others for the holiday. Lucy once again barges into Kevin's office. Her stocks are going up. Kevin says all these "big" words and Lucy tells him he always uses a lot of syllables when he is in a weaker position. You have to watch him count syllables on his fingers. It is wonderful. Kevin has an appointment with Stone. He helps him with his dyslexia. But Stone's AIDS is worse. Lucy comes to Kevin to tell him how much money her stocks made, and then takes him out to lunch. It is K&L at their bantering best. Soon after, Lucy actually knocks on Kevin's office door. She then tells him that she is going to see Madame Maia. He won't give her his approval. When she returns she tells him that she is going to invest in coffee futures. He is totally against the risk. When Kevin is packing for a NYC conference, Lucy comes to the Lighthouse. He is still not happy with her coffee futures and who knows how many cups she drank. They part with a kiss, but not on the best of terms. Lucy runs into Robin and finds out about Stone. She also runs into Luke who she proceeds to tell all about Madame Maia. His face says it all. Madame Maia meets Luke when she joins Lucy there for dinner. Of course Damian shows up at Luke's too. Tape #5 ends with Madame Maia telling Lucy that she should forgive Damian because the 2 of them have such a strong connection. Kevin is still out of town! |
