This tape begins with Lucy and Damian having dinner with Madame Maia (MM). Remember that Kevin is away in NYC. Lucy is upset because she hasn't heard from him. MM tells her she must rid herself of petty resentments, especially towards Damian. She must "cleanse her aura"! Lucy then goes around PC forgiving people. She finishes with Damian, when Kevin walks into her place. He isn't happy! Kevin tries to leave, but Lucy actually wrestles him to the ground. She promises to never see Damian again. Then they make love. The next morning they are in bed and Damian calls. The message he leaves is provocative and Kevin goes to give him a piece of his mind. Kevin and Lucy are in the Outback having lunch and she tells him that she is going to visit MM again. She goes to see Damian, but she wears a blindfold so that she won't actually see him. LOL When she comes home they fight over MM and Damian. The next day Kevin comes to Lucy's and she convinces him to sit for a reading. It gets nasty and he leaves. Kevin tries to manipulate her. It doesn't work. Lucy continues to believe in Madame Maia. Lucy goes for a rubdown and dreams of Kevin, while he has a session with Stone, who is not doing well (this is during the AIDS storyline). He has a virus, which will cause blindness. Robin can't understand why this is all happening. Kevin goes to see Mac, asking him to speed up his investigation of "Madame Never-Mind". He tells him he heard Ryan's voice in the Lighthouse. Kevin cooks a great meal for Lucy. They hear voices and see a green blob. They think it's ghosts or a hoax. These are GREAT scenes IMHO. Mac comes over the next day and they search for evidence of a hoax. They can't find anything. Lucy now believes it was really ghosts and that she has a psychic gift. She tells Kevin about the Psychic Conference she will attend in PC. It is being held by MM. He doesn't want her to attend, and he worries about their relationship. He goes to MM and tells her to stop interfering in his life and relationship with Lucy. He gives Lucy all sorts of info against psychic stuff. Lucy meets with her friend John Hanley and complains about Kevin trying to control her. She then sees Alan and Bobbie kiss in the alley outside the Outback. She goes to visit Kevin and is upset because she doesn't want to tell him about what she saw. He gives her a rubber band to wear and snap when she might tell this secret. Kevin is beside himself and goes to see Mac, who is upset about Robin and Stone. Kevin needs help to get MM. He wants to plant a spy in the conference. Mac has a brilliant idea…Kevin as a girl. Thus begins the saga of Norma (Kevin) and Eve (Mac)! What fun these two are. Meanwhile, Lucy is visiting Stone in the hospital. Kevin trying on dresses is a sight to behold. And it only gets better. Mac has great legs. Lucy tells Brenda why she shouldn't be with Sonny! And in walks Damian, who wants Lucy to join him in a business venture. Tony and Bobbie have another therapy session with Kevin At the Outback, Mac and Kevin discuss their scheme to protect Lucy from MM. Kevin runs into Felicia, but will only speak to Mac. He says, "It's a guy thing! Norma and Eve are going shopping for clothes. Kevin hates the unforgiving lighting in the dressing room. Kevin and Mac try to walk in heels and Kevin learns how to wrap a sari. Lucy comes over. Kevin and Mac hide everything, except a necklace. He has talk his way out of that. She tells him she wants to give Stone a party. The party is the same day as the beginning of the conference. Kevin is having cold feet. He doesn't want to lie to Lucy. Mac and Kevin role-play. The cocktail party to kick off the conference is in the Outback. They meet in the Lighthouse to get ready. They shave their legs while smoking cigars. This is worth the entire tape. Then they put on make-up for their debut. They go to the seminar and Felicia figures out who they are. Then it is back to the Lighthouse for Stone's party. Sigmund gets drunk and has a hangover. Felicia helps the guys get in touch with their feminine side, but they have to tell her the whole story. Lucy pops in again. Kevin practically throws her out. Norma and Eve go to the seminar where Norma (a.k.a. Kevin) gives a stirring speech. The speech inspires Lucy. She sees Kevin later and tells him she is so impressed with Norma. She is also attracted to her. She can't understand why Kevin isn't jealous. They fight over Damian and Luke. The next day at the seminar she realizes just who Norma and Eve really are. Now she is plotting to get even. She takes them to Luke's and introduces them to everyone. She tries to get them dates with Sonny! Then she goes to Kevin's office and starts questioning where he was and so the saga continues in tape #7. |
