Wednesday, February 12- At Ian's Loft, Ian and Lucy's
breakfast is interrupted by a visit from Ian's friend
Tim and Ian's son Daniel. Tim reveals that Lucy was
the one who arranged the visit. While Ian is happy to
see Daniel, when Ian reaches for his son, Ian has
flashbacks to memories of seeing himself with fangs
and red eyes and backs away from Daniel. Ian orders
Tim and Lucy to get Daniel out of there. When Lucy
takes Ian aside, Ian confesses that he does NOT want
his son to see what a monster Danny's father has
become. But Lucy assures Ian that Ian has NOT become a
monster and Ian finally sits down with Danny on his
knee and they finish breakfast together. Ian promises
Daniel that one day, it WILL be safe for Daniel to
return to Port Charles, then Daniel and Tim leave to
return to New York City. Lucy assures Ian that Ian's
condition is only temporary and they will soon find an
answer that will free Ian from his curse.
At Jack's River House, Tess is surprised when she
finds Alison on her doorstep. Alison confides to Tess
that Alison KNOWS that Alison has SEEN Tess perform
miracles. Alison goes on to explain that Alison
believes that Caleb and Elizabeth STILL have souls
that can be salvaged and encourages Tess to go ahead
and try to heal Caleb. But Tess reminds Alison that
everyone else - especially Jack - have warned Tess
time and again to stay away from Caleb. When Alison
affirms her belief that Tess could succeed in healing
Caleb so that Caleb would never again hurt anyone
else, Tess confesses that healing is not something
that Tess merely WANTS to do. Rather, healing is
something that Tess MUST do! Alison encourages Tess to
leave immediately to make another effort to heal
Caleb. After Tess leaves, Jack comes out on the porch.
When Jack asks where Tess is, Alison reluctantly
admits that Tess went to see Caleb and plans to
attempt to heal Caleb's heart. Jack declares that he
must go after Tess to rescue her. Alison at first
tries to talk Jack out of going to Stephen's Studio,
but Jack refuses to listen to Alison. When Jack
leaves, Alison follows him.
Kevin is pleased to receive a visit from Caleb while
Kevin is in jail. Kevin asks Caleb to help Kevin get
out of jail, reminding the evil monster that Kevin can
still help Caleb gain access to Tess. However, Caleb
reports that he no longer needs Kevin's help with Tess
and suggests that Kevin get some of his friends to
help him out. But Kevin admits that none of his
friends will help him any more - confessing that even
Kevin's own father has refused to help. When Kevin
desperately proclaims that he REALLY needs to get out
of jail, Caleb asks if Kevin needs to get out so that
Kevin can kill Lucy and her latest boyfriend. Although
Kevin denies that he is planning to kill Lucy, Caleb
finally agrees that, IF Kevin could just keep Lucy
distracted and OUT of Caleb's face, it would be worth
it to Caleb to help get Kevin out of jail. Caleb
informs Kevin that the price of obtaining Caleb's help
now is that, at some future date, Caleb will ask Kevin
to return the favor and Kevin will have to grant the
favor WITHOUT asking any questions! Kevin agrees to
Caleb's terms and Caleb leaves to arrange for Kevin's
release. After his release, Kevin returns to the Light
House, finds Lucy's crystal ball and, looking into the
ball, declares: "I see your future, Lucy and Ian. And
it is NOT pretty!'
Casey discovers Reese laying in wait for Casey in the
Park. Reese warns Casey to stay away from Ricky
because Reese has plans for the drummer boy. When
Casey orders Reese to buzz off, Reese rushes forward
to attack Casey, but Casey uses some Angel Power to
throw a tree limb in Reese's path, which trips Reese
up. As Reese falls, Jamal spots the encounter from his
hiding place in the bushes. Reese accuses Casey of
using some kind of power to make that branch trip
Reese up. But Casey insists that Reese is merely a
klutz. Reese makes the sinister promise that, one day,
Reese will 'bite' Casey, then storms away. After Reese
is out of sight, Casey addresses heaven, but is
interrupted when Jamal comes out of the bushes and
admits that he just saw 'Marissa's' trick with the
tree branch and asks if she is really Casey instead of
Marissa. Although Casey denies it at first, the angel
finally admits that she IS Casey and IS an angel.
Casey explains that Marissa left Port Charles and, IF
Marissa returns to that doomed town, Marissa will get
pulled in to the conflict with Caleb and will die.
Jamal agrees that he understands why Marissa had to
leave town and Casey admits that Ricky does NOT know
that Casey is Casey instead of Marissa. Jamal suggests
that Casey needs some pointers on pretending to be
Marissa and volunteers to coach the angel.
When Tess arrives at Stephen's Studio, she is
surprised to find Joshua waiting for her there. Tess
reminds Joshua that he was the one who pushed both
Livvie AND Tess into the water and left them to die.
But Joshua reminds Tess that, since Tess is so good
and pure, Tess WILL find a way to forgive Joshua. But
Tess informs Joshua that Tess KNOWS that Joshua is NOT
sorry and is still bad. Joshua declares that he has
changed his mind and now believes that TESS is exactly
what Caleb deserves. As Joshua begs Tess to listen to
what Joshua has to say, Jack and Alison suddenly burst
in and Tess rushes into Jack's arms. Alison is
transfixed by the sight of Joshua, whom she believed
to be dead! After Tess, Jack and Alison rush away from
Joshua, Caleb suddenly appears and asks Joshua: "Can
you give me one good reason why I should NOT kill you,
right now?"
-
Thursday, February 13- Alison rushes back to Rafe's
Loft with the news that she just saw Joshua! Rafe
immediately guesses that Elizabeth turned Joshua into
one of the undead, rather than bumping him off
entirely. Alison is surprised when Rafe explains that
there was always the possibility that Elizabeth had
turned Joshua rather than doing away with him
entirely. Alison is happy when she realizes that,
since Elizabeth did NOT actually kill Joshua, it would
mean that Elizabeth has NOT crossed over to Caleb's
world of eternally condemned souls. When Alison asks
if Rafe would have had to eventually destroy Elizabeth
if Elizabeth HAD crossed over, Rafe assures Alison
that Rafe would have found ANOTHER way rather than
destroy Alison's mother. Alison tries again to
convince Rafe that Rafe should allow Tess to try to
heal Caleb, but Rafe insists that Caleb has NO heart
to heal and, while Rafe wishes that Tess COULD restore
Caleb's soul, it is more likely that continued delay
would only give Caleb more time to corrupt Tess the
same way that Caleb corrupted Livvie. And, Rafe points
out, Alison would ALSO become Caleb's target! But
Alison affirms her belief that Rafe and Alison
together are living proof that miracles DO happen!
At Jack's River House, Jack asks Tess if the reason
that he ALWAYS finds her with Caleb is because she is
under some kind of spell. OR because she is NOT really
happy with Jack - and really wants to be with Caleb
instead. Tess assures Jack that she loves Jack only.
But Jack reminds Tess that he has been through all of
this before with Livvie. Tess argues that she only
wants to HELP Caleb, because she was blessed with a
gift and she MUST use that gift! Jack finally agrees
that, if Tess truly believes that she CAN change
Caleb, Jack will quit opposing her efforts and become
supportive of Tess's mission to heal Caleb's heart.
Tess assures Jack that he will NOT be sorry for having
faith in her. Then Tess suggests that they go to bed.
Jack tells Tess to go ahead and get ready, but Jack
needs to go out to pick up something special first.
However, outside, Jack tells himself: "I love you,
Tess. I hope just one day, you will forgive me!"
At Stephen's Studio, Caleb demands to know what Joshua
said to frighten Tess. When Joshua insists that he
only tried to assure Tess that Joshua had misjudged
her, Caleb guesses that Joshua has been turned in to a
member of the Undead by Elizabeth. Joshua produces a
knife and tells Caleb to do whatever Caleb needs to
do. But Caleb tells Joshua that, when Caleb decides it
IS time to be rid of Joshua permanently, Caleb will
NOT need a prop! Caleb admits that he HAS missed
Joshua's help in keeping the band in line. When Joshua
tells Caleb that "Newborn Heart" is a brilliant song,
Caleb admits that he wrote the song so that Tess would
believe that Caleb IS changing and Caleb could then
succeed in luring Tess into trying to heal Caleb so
that Caleb could draw Livvie out of Tess. Joshua
congratulates his evil master for concocting such a
brilliant plan. Caleb confesses that Caleb's orders to
the big bat's follower's to take flight over Port
Charles for a feeding frenzy was just an elaborate
charade to convince Tess that she HAD changed Caleb
and DOES have the power to 'uncover' the good in
Caleb's heart. Joshua admits that Joshua would have
gone ahead with the attack on the town. Joshua asks if
Caleb is sure that Caleb still wants Livvie and NOT
Tess. But Caleb insists that he wants only Olivia and
NOT Tess - that Tess is merely a means to an end. When
Joshua offers to help his master, Caleb reminds Joshua
that Joshua is just an underling who can be easily
exterminated. But, after Caleb leaves, Joshua gloats
to himself that, by the time that Caleb discovers what
Joshua is up to, it will be too late.
Back at Rafe's Loft, Rafe tries to explain to Alison
that opposing evil forces is the only thing that Rafe
has known all of his life. Rafe assures Alison that he
appreciates her courage. But Alison admits that she
has NOT been feeling very brave. Rafe confesses that
he was scared every time that he was separated from
Alison. Alison announces to Rafe that she has a
perfect plan for getting revenge and begins lighting
candles. Alison declares that, for a few hours, they
will forget that Caleb Morley ever existed. Rafe and
Alison soon hit the sheets. Afterward, Rafe gives
Alison's engagement ring back to her and Alison gives
Rafe's special watch back to Rafe.
Elizabeth slips into Stephen's Studio, looking for
some more of Caleb's water, but finds only Joshua.
Joshua informs Elizabeth that they are out of the
special water and Joshua suggests that Elizabeth take
care of her cravings with a 'traditional' feeding.
Even though Elizabeth objects and Joshua admits that
he is not really fond of Elizabeth either, Joshua soon
bites Elizabeth.
Back at Rafe's Loft, while Rafe and Alison are making
plans for their future, they are interrupted by a
persistent knocking on their door. When Rafe answers
the door, Jack bursts in and announces that he just
set Tess up. Jack confides that Tess continues to
believe that she can heal Caleb and Jack is afraid
that Tess will never stop trying to 'heal' Caleb. So
Jack pretended to Tess that he now supports Tess's
mission to save Caleb. Jack warns Rafe and Alison that
Caleb will destroy them all if they do NOT do
something - soon! Jack then announces that Jack wants
to be the one to drive the stake through Caleb's heart
this time! Meanwhile, Tess is at the River House,
lighting candles in anticipation of Jack's homecoming.
But Caleb watches Tess from the porch and then
materializes inside the living room and advances
toward Tess.
-
Friday, February 14- At Ian's Loft, Lucy secretly
makes plans to surprise Ian with a special treat
called "The Taste of Ireland." However, a male
stripper shows up and announces his plan is to step
dance as he strips down to his Shamrock. Ian is amused
as an embarrassed Lucy quickly pays the Dancer to
leave before he strips down to his Lucky Charms. After
the Dancer leaves, Ian gives Lucy a special gift of a
four-leaf clover he found when he was a boy. Then Ian
suggests that they go OUT for dinner!
At Stephen's Studio, Elizabeth coldly informs Joshua
that the thought of satisfying her cravings with
Joshua is too repulsive for her to even consider it.
Joshua reminds Elizabeth that he is the only choice
she has - unless she has a hidden lover somewhere.
Mrs. Clay insists that her husband is her only passion
but it is obvious that Caleb has moved on. Joshua
brightens, as he observes: "So - I DID stir something
in you, didn't I?"
ELIZABETH: "You certainly did! Utter disgust!"
Joshua reminds Elizabeth that Joshua plans to take
Caleb's place and that Elizabeth has promised to help
Joshua take Caleb down. But Elizabeth retorts that
that does NOT mean that Elizabeth would allow their
relationship to become anything other than a business
arrangement. Joshua urges Elizabeth to just give in to
her cravings but Elizabeth storms out of the room.
After Elizabeth leaves, Joshua chuckles to himself as
he assures himself that Elizabeth will come around
eventually.
At Rafe's Loft, Rafe assures Jack that Lucy and Rafe
will need to take care of eliminating Caleb. Alison
objects to the possibility of Rafe and Lucy doing away
with Caleb in front of Tess. Alison notices that Jack
bought a replacement of Tess's doll for Tess's
Valentine's Day gift and blasts Jack because it looks
like Jack prefers to treat his new wife as a child!
Alison points out that Jack wants the sweet, innocent,
untouched side of Tess while Caleb wants the evil,
manipulative side of Livvie - but what Livvie AND Tess
both need is a chance to become one whole, complete,
integrated person! Jack argues that Tess IS a complete
person, just the way she is! When Alison appeals to
Rafe for Rafe's opinion, Rafe replies: "I think, given
the chance, Caleb is going to turn Tess into something
we do not even recognize. And, if it were me, I would
do anything to stop that!" Alison continues to warn
Jack and Rafe that using Tess to get rid of Caleb
could backfire and TESS could end up being the one who
ends up VERY hurt by their plan!
Caleb calls Tess up to the Scenic Overlook that he
introduced her to and plays "Newborn Heart" for her,
claiming that he wrote the song just for her. Caleb
informs Tess that he now believes that he is no longer
destined to keep repeating the same mistake. Caleb
kisses Tess and tells her that it is because he is
grateful to her for the new life she has opened up for
him. Caleb then gives Tess a music box, claiming that
Livvie was very fond of the music box and that the
music from the box will bring Tess closer to Livvie.
Tess prophesies that Caleb WILL love again, even
though Caleb can NOT have Livvie! But, after Tess
leaves, Caleb vows to himself: "Don't worry about me,
Tess! I WILL find love again!"
Elizabeth arrives at Ian's Loft but arrives after Ian
and Lucy have gone to dinner. Elizabeth lets herself
in to wait for Ian and makes herself comfortable by
stripping down to almost nothing. As she waits,
Elizabeth spots Ian's research notes and reads:
"Vampire symptoms are relieved when a vampire makes
love with a slayer!" Elizabeth guesses that Ian is
referring to his relationship with Lucy. Meanwhile,
Lucy and Ian are enjoying dinner out when someone
sends a complimentary bottle of wine to their table.
When Lucy and Ian look around for their benefactor,
they spot Kevin, who lifts his glass in salute!
Meanwhile, back at Rafe's Loft, Rafe gives Alison some
pink roses and they promise each other that they will
forget about all of the evil lurking around Port
Charles for a little while. They promise that they
will always talk through their differences of opinion.
Then they hit the sheets. At the same time, at the
Scenic Overlook, Caleb affirms his belief that Livvie
will find her way back to him, because Livvie has
ALWAYS found her way back to Caleb. Meanwhile, Tess
sets a romantic mood for Jack at the River House. But,
as Tess writes a love letter for Jack, she opens
Caleb's music box and begins to listen to the music
and then begins to dance. By the time that Jack
returns home, Tess has turned into Livvie!
-
Monday, February 17- When Jack returns to the River
House, he is shocked when he discovers Tess dancing
around and acting like Livvie. Jack spots the love
letter that Tess was writing to him and discovers that
she signed the card: "Livvie!" Livvie tells Jack:
"He's calling me, Jack. Can't you hear him calling
me?" Jack spots the music-box and slams it shut. As
soon as the lid goes down on the box, Tess reappears,
and appears to have no memory of what just happened.
Tess informs Jack that Caleb gave the music box to her
because Caleb wanted to prove to Tess that Caleb did
NOT want to control her any more. Jack convinces Tess
to allow Jack to destroy the music box. Jack takes the
music box outside and smashes it with a hammer, then
throws it in the trash. Tess and Jack begin to kiss.
At the restaurant, when Ian realizes that Kevin is the
benefactor who sent a bottle of wine to their table,
Ian decides it is time to settle Kevin's hash and
approaches Kevin to give Kevin a piece of his mind.
But Kevin protests that Kevin had been respecting the
restraining order until Ian and Lucy ran over to
Kevin. Lucy suddenly insists to Ian that she would
rather eat at home and Lucy and Ian leave. Later,
Caleb arrives at the same restaurant and engages Kevin
in a discussion about Livvie and Tess. As the two men
talk, some fans of the Stephen Clay Experience spot
Caleb and pester him for his autograph. Caleb complies
with their request and then thrills them further when
he kisses them. Kevin suggests that maybe Caleb is
ONLY interested in women who do NOT succumb instantly
for Caleb's questionable brand of charm. Kevin
suggests that, since Tess appears to be able to resist
Caleb, perhaps Caleb is switching his obsession from
Livvie to Tess! Caleb retorts that Kevin is in no
position to be trying to analyze Caleb since Caleb is
so different from anyone that Kevin has ever met
before. But Kevin counters by pointing out that the
more time Caleb spends with humans, the more Caleb is
becoming just like them.
At Ian's Loft, Elizabeth puzzles over the research
notes that she discovered which seem to indicate that
sleeping with a slayer is a way to cure the cravings
that have turned her life into such an eternal
torment. When Ian and Lucy arrive home, Elizabeth
immediately begins coming on to Ian but Lucy orders
Elizabeth to get her hands off of Ian! Elizabeth tries
to trick Ian and Lucy into confiding news about their
'breakthrough' to Elizabeth but Lucy and Ian stay mum
about their discoveries. Lucy finally orders Elizabeth
to leave. But, after Elizabeth leaves Ian's Loft, she
places a telephone call to Rafe!
Back at Jack's River House, Jack and Tess enjoy some
togetherness on the porch swing. But, when they go
inside, a close-up of the trash-can reveals that the
music from the music-box can be heard again.
-
Tuesday, Feburary 18- In Elizabeth's Hotel Room,
Elizabeth tells herself that going to bed with her
daughter's fiance will NOT count, because Elizabeth
will only be doing that in order to save her life.
However, Elizabeth is disappointed when she answers
her door and discovers that it is Alison, rather than
Rafe, who is standing there. Alison explains that she
came because Rafe had something to do, but Alison felt
it was important to check on her mother. Elizabeth
explains that she had some questions about her
'condition' that Elizabeth believed she needed to
discuss with Rafe. As Elizabeth and Alison talk,
Elizabeth changes her mind about seducing Rafe and,
instead, agrees to go apartment hunting with Alison
later. Alison drops a hint that Rafe has a plan that
will end Caleb's reign of terror in Port Charles soon,
but Alison clams up when Elizabeth asks for more
details about Rafe's plan. After Alison leaves her
hotel room, Elizabeth congratulates herself for
deciding thatshe CAN resist the temptation to bed Rafe
in order to get rid of her 'symptoms!'
At Jack's River House, Jack fills Jamal and Rafe in on
the way that Caleb's music box turned Tess into Livvie
- just like flipping a switch! But, when Rafe points
out that whoever controls the box can control WHEN
Livvie will appear, and asks Jack for the box, Jack
admits that he has already smashed the music box into
a million pieces. Rafe warns Jack that smashing the
box was NOT a smart move. Rafe goes on to explain
that, IF they open the box and Livvie appears, Caleb
will let his guard down and, while Caleb is
distracted, they would be able to deliver a death blow
to the evil monster. Rafe tells Jack and Jamal that
Caleb would NOT have let the box out of his hands if
Caleb knew the box WOULD produce Livvie, so Rafe
declares that Rafe is presuming that Caleb does NOT
know that the box has the power to turn Tess into
Livvie. Rafe suddenly remembers Caleb informing him
that the balance between good and evil had to be
maintained so that, when Rafe came back to earth,
Caleb got to come back as well. But, when Jack, Jamal
and Rafe go to look in the trash for the smashed music
box, they are surprised when they discover that the
box is NOT in the trash any longer! As Jack, Jamal and
Rafe decide to continue looking for the music box,
Jamal asks how many times Caleb will have to die
before that evil monster REALLY dies! Rafe declares
that THIS time will be different because Caleb will be
killed by a slayer. Rafe also suggests that they find
a way to keep Caleb off his water, so Caleb will
become more vulnerable. Rafe assures Jack that
everything will be done to protect Tess. As Jack,
Jamal and Rafe get ready to go look again for the
music box, Alison arrives and Jack, Jamal and Rafe try
to evade Alison's questions about their plans. But
Alison tells them that she knows they are evading and
asks to speak to Rafe alone. After Jack and Jamal
leave, Alison tells Rafe that she just saw Elizabeth
and it appeared that her mother was freaking out, so
Alison asks Rafe to visit Elizabeth and answer some of
her mother's questions. Rafe agrees to go and asks
Alison to stay at the River House to be with Tess.
At Stephen's Studio, Ricky spots Casey, still posing
as Marissa, and tells the angel that her on-again,
off-again routine has him confused. Meanwhile, inside
the Studio, Reese and Caz complain to Joshua about the
changes in Caleb since her wrote the song 'Newborn
Heart!' But Caleb suddenly appears and announces that
they are getting rid of 'Newborn Heart' and returning
to their traditional form of music. Caz and Reese are
enthusiastic about the changes Caleb has announced.
Later, as the band practices, Caleb admits he likes
some of the changes Ricky made in one of the songs.
When the band takes a break after rehearsal, Reese
approaches Caleb and reminds the boss that they STILL
have a problem with Ricky. Caleb gives Reese
permission to nibble on Ricky, but Joshua listens in
on Reese's plan. Reese later goes to Ricky and tells
him that The Stephen Clay Experience is planning a big
party and asks Ricky to go with her to the big bash.
Casey overhears Ricky agreeing to go with Reese and
later tries to warn Ricky NOT to go with Reese. But
Ricky angrily orders Casey to butt out of his life and
quit ruining his good time. Meanwhile, Caleb remembers
Kevin's warning that, the longer Caleb is around
humans, the more Caleb becomes like the humans he so
despises. Just then, Reese reports back about her
plans for nibbling on Ricky. As Reese tells Caleb how
grateful she is, Caleb begins to kiss Reese and Reese
jumps into Caleb's lap and returns his kisses.
Meanwhile, in her hotel room, Elizabeth wonders what
she should do to get rid of her symptoms if she does
NOT hop into bed with Rafe. Elizabeth is pleasantly
surprised when Rafe shows up at her door and Elizabeth
welcomes her daughter's fiance with open arms. At the
same time, Joshua leaves an urgent message on
Elizabeth's phone, informing his partner that he needs
her - NOW!
After Rafe leaves Jack's River House, Tess comes out
of the next room, holding the music box. As Jack and
Jamal search through the trash on the front porch,
looking for the music box, Tess shows the music box to
Alison and tells her that Jack said he was throwing
the box away but must have changed his mind. Alison
observes that the music box looks familiar. Tess opens
the music box and, when the music begins to play, Tess
turns into Livvie before an astonished Alison.
-
Wednesday, February 19- When Lucy brings a "Take-Out"
Lunch to Ian's Loft, Ian announces that he has finally
come up with a formula which he believes will cure his
insatiable appetite for blood. Ian declares that he
believes it is now time to see if the formula will
work on Ian! But, Lucy tries to persuade Ian NOT to
use the new formula on himself because Lucy believes
that they are doing fine, keeping Ian's symptoms in
check with a combination of Caleb's Water and Ian's
relationship with Lucy. But Ian protests that he can
NOT bear the thought of living like that forever - and
will NEVER be content to accept a life that is merely
maintaining the status quo. So Lucy reluctantly agrees
to help Ian try out the new serum. But, when Ian tries
the serum on himself, his fangs come out and he
suddenly attacks Lucy! The more Lucy tries to help
Ian, the angrier Ian becomes! Ian begins to strangle
Lucy. When Ian knocks Lucy down and advances
menacingly toward her, Lucy suddenly pulls out a
silver stake and threatens to impale Ian unless he
stops his attack. Lucy appeals to Ian's love for his
son to encourage Ian to fight Ian's cravings.
Suddenly, Lucy declares HER love for Ian and proclaims
that Lucy believes that Ian will NOT hurt her. Then
Lucy puts the stake down! As Lucy puts down the stake,
Ian's fangs disappear, and Ian suddenly changes back
to himself!
At Jack's River House, Alison is stunned when Tess
opens Caleb's Music Box and suddenly turns into
Livvie. As Livvie blasts Alison for always hanging
around trying to make trouble, Jack comes in and, as
Jack listens to Livvie bad-mouthing Alison, Jack spots
the music box and slams the lid down! As soon as Jack
shuts the music box, Livvie disappears and Tess
reappears and admits that she does NOT remember what
just happened. Jack sends Tess to the kitchen for some
soda and then Jack fills Alison in about Caleb's music
box and the power that the box seems to exercise over
Tess. When Alison asks what she can do to help, Jack
urges Alison to get to Rafe as quickly as possible and
ask Rafe to return to the River House, while Jack
keeps Tess busy! Alison leaves right away and, when
Tess returns to the living room, Jack explains that
Caleb's music box makes Tess remember some unhappy
times in Livvie's life and makes Tess sad and
frightened. Tess explains that the box just appeared
beside Tess' bed and Tess believed that Jack put the
box there. Jack convinces Tess to NEVER open the box
again while she is alone and Tess tells Jack that she
remembers that there was something 'not quite right'
about the music. Jack tells Tess that, for the time
being, JACK will keep the music box. Tess promises
Jack that she will NEVER open the box while she is
alone and Jack promises that he will always be there
to take care of Tess!
When Rafe arrives at Elizabeth's Hotel Room, Elizabeth
enthusiastically welcomes Rafe with open arms. As
Elizabeth suddenly begins to paw around on Rafe, Rafe
demands to know what is going on, and Elizabeth
eventually informs Rafe bluntly that Elizabeth
believes that she has proof that hopping in bed with a
slayer will cure her of Caleb's Curse of the Undead!
Rafe tries to tell Elizabeth that her idea does NOT
make any sense and that, if that were true, Rafe would
KNOW about it. As Rafe tries to convince Elizabeth
that she needs to give up on the idea that hopping in
bed with Rafe will somehow 'cure' Elizabeth, Elizabeth
knocks Rafe down on her bed, declaring: "You can kill
me, or you can have sex with me!" But, as Elizabeth
tries to cuddle up to Rafe, Alison suddenly bursts in
the door and blasts her mother for trying to seduce
Alison's sweetheart! Elizabeth quickly tries to
explain that, IF Elizabeth could ONLY bed Rafe, all of
Elizabeth's unholy symptoms would disappear. And Rafe
agrees that Elizabeth DID tell him that. Alison
apologizes to Rafe for her mother's behavior. Then
Alison blasts Elizabeth for being so selfish. But Rafe
urges Alison to realize that her mother was just
desperate. Elizabeth agrees that Rafe is right and
that Elizabeth DOES believe that she has PROOF that
bedding Rafe WOULD 'cure' Elizabeth of her curse. Rafe
tries to hustle Alison out of the room, but Elizabeth
begs Alison NOT to leave. As Elizabeth cries that she
has NO hope for the future and the present is driving
her mad, Rafe informs Elizabeth that there IS hope -
ALL they have to do is - kill Caleb! Elizabeth
protests that killing Caleb will prove to be
impossible. Alison warns her mother that Alison is
TIRED of listening to all of Elizabeth's excuses, and
Alison walks out into the hallway with Rafe. Once
outside, Alison fills Rafe in on her experience as she
watched Tess turn into Livvie when Tess opened Caleb's
cursed music box! Rafe encourages Alison to try to
comfort her mother, while Rafe calls Jack to get the
details about Tess's latest experience with Caleb's
Music Box!
Meanwhile, at Jack's River House, Jack thrills Tess
when he gives her a new doll that is an exact
duplicate of the doll that Livvie burned. Tess exults:
"She is back! And we are going to have one of our own
soon, too!"
When Rafe calls, Rafe warns Jack that they should NOT
wait any longer before attempting to trap and destroy
Caleb. Jack finally agrees with Rafe and Jack declares
that: "As much as I love her, I HAVE to send Tess out
- alone!"
-
Thursday, February 20- At Ian's Loft, as Ian voices
his disappointment that his vaccine did NOT work, Lucy
and Ian are interrupted by Rafe, who announces that
they ARE finally ready to get rid of Caleb -
permanently! Rafe explains that Jack has finally
agreed to let them use Tess to con Caleb into dropping
his guard and, that, in fact, Jack will be the one who
will set Tess up. Lucy is shocked when Rafe declares
that Rafe can NOT be the one to exterminate Caleb -
that LUCY will have to do the job! When Ian is
suspicious of the reason WHY it MUST be Lucy who takes
Caleb out, Rafe answers that he will explain all of
that to Lucy - alone! After Ian leaves, Rafe reminds
Lucy that Rafe can NOT eliminate Caleb because of the
balance between good and evil - when Rafe got a pass
back to earth, Caleb ALSO got the same kind of pass!
But, Rafe explains, a slayer MUST make the kill if
they ever want to be rid of the evil monster, and Lucy
is the only one left who can take Caleb out! Lucy asks
IF Lucy terminates Caleb, would that also mean that
Rafe would HAVE return to the here-after as well, but
Rafe confesses that he does NOT know the answer to her
question. When Ian returns, Lucy fibs that Caleb would
suspect Rafe of trying to eradicate Caleb but would
NOT suspect Lucy because Caleb is too arrogant to
realize that Lucy might be strong enough to face
Caleb.
At Jack's River House, Jack reminds Tess that Jack IS
supportive of Tess' mission to 'heal' Caleb. But Jack
convinces Tess that Caleb hides behind a wall and THAT
is the reason why it is so difficult for even Tess to
reach down far enough to be able to awaken the
goodness that Tess believes is buried deep inside
Caleb. Jack explains to Tess that Jack believes that
the water that Caleb drinks provides a 'mask' that
Caleb can hide behind. Jack suggests that Tess is the
ONLY one who could successfully get Caleb to quit
depending on the water long enough for Caleb to drop
his mask and allow Tess to heal the evil monster. A
delighted Tess sweetly thanks Jack for understanding
Tess's mission and thinking about getting rid of the
water as a way to reach Caleb. Tess announces that she
will go out to find Caleb right away and take Caleb to
the Scenic Overlook to convince Caleb to give up
drinking the water. But, when Tess rushes out to meet
Caleb, Jack follows her!
Caleb's party is in full swing at Stephen's Studio and
Joshua guardedly congratulates Caleb for recovering
Caleb's former evil persona. Reese reports to Caleb
that she is prepared to feast on Ricky before the
night is finished and Reese greets Ricky
enthusiastically when the drummer makes an appearance.
Joshua asks Caleb if he plans to move on now and
forget all about Olivia - AND Tess! Caleb insists to
his suspicious band manager that Caleb has ALREADY
forgotten!
As Jamal saunters through the Park, Jamal is surprised
when Angel Casey springs out at him and demands
Jamal's immediate help in protecting Ricky from
getting bitten by Reese. Casey explains that SHE is
not allowed to interfere to rescue Ricky - but Jamal
CAN interfere! After Casey explains her plan, Jamal
rushes to Caleb's party. When Jamal arrives at the
party, he finds Ricky and slugs Ricky for kissing
Jamal's girl - 'Marissa." However, as Casey watches in
horror from a hidden corner, Caz shows up and
threatens to teach Jamal some 'manners' for Caz's
'good friend', Ricky!
Back at Ian's loft, Rafe explains that the plan is for
Tess to convince Caleb to quit drinking the water.
Then, when Caleb has grown weaken from being without
the water, they will open the music box when Tess and
Caleb are together and Livvie will appear. Lucy will
pull the trigger while Caleb is distracted with the
phenomena of seeing Livvie again! Lucy assures Rafe
that Lucy believes they will ALL be there to celebrate
their victory over Caleb. Rafe returns to the car to
get Lucy's Silver Slayer Gun. While Rafe is gone, Ian
assures Lucy that Ian believes that she will be
successful in eradicating Caleb! Rafe returns with the
gun and shows Lucy how to use it.
Caleb takes a break from his party and sees Joshua as
Joshua leaves. After Joshua is gone, Caleb remembers
that Kevin suspects that Caleb is becoming human. And
Caleb remembers Tess announcing that she can feel the
goodness inside Caleb. Tess suddenly arrives, but
Caleb rudely brushes her off and tells Tess that they
will NOT be talking again - EVER! As Jack watches from
hiding, Jack silently wills Tess to just take Caleb at
his word and leave! But Tess suddenly reminds Caleb
that she truly believes that there IS good inside
Caleb. Before leaving, Tess confesses that, in her own
way, she DOES love Caleb! Caleb suddenly asks Tess to
wait!
-
Friday, February 21- At the party in Stephen's Studio,
as Casey watches in horror from a hidden corner, Jamal
angrily informs Caz that Jamal's beef is with Ricky.
But Caz remains determined to make it about Caz! Jamal
pretends to be willing to take the disagreement
outside, but, as Caz follows Jamal, Jamal suddenly
turns around and slugs Caz. Reese angrily warns Jamal
that Jamal will be sorry for punching Caz.
Alison panics when she discovers that she can NOT
reach Rafe but, when Alison confides her worry to her
mother, Elizabeth can offer little to allay her
daughter's fears. Alison declares that she is positive
that Rafe has gone face Caleb. Elizabeth tries to
assure Alison that, IF Rafe HAS gone to eliminate his
evil adversary, then Rafe will succeed in his plan to
eliminate the evil monster who has destroyed all of
their lives. Alison flashes back to Rafe's explanation
about the balance of good and evil and how it enabled
Rafe to gain a second chance at life on earth to be
with Alison. Alison falls asleep and finds herself in
the midst of a horrible dream in which she learns that
Rafe must leave her because Caleb is dead.
At Ian's loft, Ian makes a cup of soothing tea for
Lucy to help calm her nerves before she leaves for her
first solo attempt to rid the world of Caleb's evil.
Rafe also tries to assure Lucy that she will succeed
in destroying their evil enemy, but Lucy begins to
worry that Rafe may never see Alison again if Rafe is
yanked back to the Here-After as soon as Caleb lands
in hell. Rafe insists that they must just concentrate
on the job at hand. Jack calls to report that Tess is
still working on Caleb but appears to be making some
head-way. Lucy encourages Rafe to call Alison before
they head out to face Caleb, but Rafe refuses. Lucy
grabs the silver gun and announces that it is time for
them to destroy Caleb. However, as Rafe, Lucy and Ian
leave the building, Kevin notices them leaving and
follows.
Outside Caleb's party, Caleb stops Tess from leaving
and asks how Tess can still have faith that there is
goodness inside Caleb that is worth saving when Tess
knows that Caleb was ruthlessly using Tess to get to
Livvie. Tess declares that she believes that Caleb was
only trying to create someone who could love him as he
really is. Tess knocks the blue bottle of water out of
Caleb's hand, proclaiming that Caleb does NOT need the
water! When Caleb picks up the bottle, Tess accuses
Caleb of hiding behind the water because it masks the
real Caleb. Tess announces that, in order to heal
Caleb's heart, Tess needs to get close to the real
man, not the persona that was forced upon him by his
evill family in centuries past. Caleb confesses that
he now regrets that he ever shared his shameful family
secrets with Tess. Tess strokes Caleb's cheek and
invites Caleb to accompany her so that she can heal
his wounded heart. When Tess extends her hand, Caleb
gratefully accepts her hand. Tess kisses Caleb's
fingertips and leads him away. Jack is thrilled when
he realizes that Tess is on the verge of success. But
when Jack steps out of the shadows to follow Tess and
Caleb, Jack discovers that two toughs are blocking his
path. Jamal comes running up and reports to Jack that
Jamal is being pursued by ghouls. When the thugs catch
up with Jack and Jamal, the goons knock Jack
unconscious. When the police officers arrive, the
fight begins to break up. A panic-stricken Casey
desperately looks for Ricky, but does NOT find the
drummer and is afraid that Reese may still follow
through on her plan to feast on Ricky. At the same
time, Reese finally corners her tasty drummer boy and
promises to give Ricky the 'gift that keeps on
giving!'
Meanwhile, Jamal picks Jack up off the ground and
revives him. But, as Jack and Jamal head off to catch
up with Tess, the police officers notice them and
decide to arrest Jack and Jamal. When the police put
handcuffs on Jack, Jamal begins to pretend that he is
falling-down drunk and takes his car keys out. As
Jamal screams for his mama, the police handcuff Jamal.
While the police are distracted by Jamal's antics,
Jack frees himself and runs away to catch up with
Caleb and Tess.
As they approach the Scenic Overlook, Lucy confesses
to Ian that she is afraid she will NOT succeed in
destroying their evil adversary. But Ian assures Lucy
that Ian is confident that Lucy will succeed in saving
the world from Caleb and they will all SOON have a
reason to celebrate! Rafe, Lucy and Ian hide in the
shadows and wait for Tess and Caleb to appear. When
Caleb arrives with Tess, Caleb admits that he is NOT
surprised that Tess brought him to the Scenic
Overlook. Tess gently encourages Caleb to let himself
go so he can open himself up to his feelings. Caleb
complains that he needs his water, but Tess insists
that Caleb's water will only stand in the way of Caleb
discovering his human emotions. Tess proclaims to
Caleb that this was meant to be and urges Caleb NOT to
be afraid because Tess is convinced that this moment
is the reason WHY Caleb created Tess in the first
place! Caleb announces that he only wants Livvie back.
That Caleb does NOT want love and does NOT want to be
healed. Caleb suggests that it is TESS who needs to
look inside and find the woman inside of herself whom
Caleb desires. But Tess vows that she will NEVER allow
Livvie to return. .
Rafe, Lucy and Ian lurk in the shadows and wonder why
Jack has not yet appeared. However, Kevin spots the
group and moves closer to discover what their mission
is.
Meanwhile, as Caleb angrily demands to see Livvie,
Tess valiantly continues to stand her ground and
gently urges the evil monster to tell her what is in
his heart. Caleb declares that there is only darkness
in his heart. At the same time, Jack slips up and
quietly opens the music box. When Caleb hears the
music, he stops dead in his tracks. But the tune also
entices Livvie to emerge from within Tess. Kevin
witnesses the emergence of his daughter and happily
starts toward the couple. However, Lucy draws her gun,
aims and shoots.
Casey finds Ricky alone, with Reese poised behind the
drummer, ready to sink her teeth into Ricky's neck.
-
Monday, February 24- In the alley outside of Stephen's
Studio, as Jamal tries to convince the arresting
officer that he is not REALLY drunk, Joshua returns
and the police inform the band manager that they are
shutting down his drunken brawl! Meanwhile, inside the
Studio, as Reese prepares to take a hunk out of Ricky,
Casey creates an indoor twister that throws Reese
against a wall. When Casey runs outside, yelling
"Twister!" she finds that the police have turned Jamal
loose so they can return to headquarters to see if the
twister has created any emergency situations. After
the police leave, Casey confesses to Jamal that the
twister was her idea and that Casey is afraid she will
be yanked back to the Here-After because the twister
might be considered an 'interference' in mortal lives.
When Joshua and Caz go inside the Studio, Reese begins
to complain that she feels kind of weird - and Caz
admits that he is beginning to feel the way he used to
feel on the day before Christmas! Joshua suddenly
perceives that something must have happened to
'Stephen!" Outside, Casey complains to Jamal that she
was supposed to be sweet, like a TV angel, but Jamal
assures Casey that IF her boss had wanted 'sweet', he
would NOT have sent Casey to do the job! When Ricky
arrives, Jamal apologizes to Ricky for slugging him
and Jamal announces that Jamal and 'Marissa' just
worked out their differences and Jamal is now cool
with everything. Ricky complains about the freaky
windstorm and Casey splits after she almost gives her
angelic connections away.
At Elizabeth's Hotel Room, an alarmed Alison confides
to her mother that Alison believes that she must stop
Rafe from exterminating Caleb because it would mean
that Rafe would have to leave as well. But Elizabeth
encourages her daughter to believe that Rafe will be
OK, because Rafe has so much experience in dealing
with evil monsters like Caleb. Then Elizabeth suddenly
begins to feel light headed and wonders if her vampire
symptoms are vanishing because Caleb is gone. Alison
becomes more concerned than ever that Rafe will have
to leave again if Caleb has checked out permanently
and Alison dashes out the door to look for Rafe.
Meanwhile, at the Scenic Overlook, as Caleb reminds
Tess that he ONLY wants to be with Livvie, Jack
suddenly opens the music box and Tess becomes Livvie
again. As Caleb jubilantly embraces Livvie, Lucy rises
from her hiding place and aims the silver gun at
Caleb. Just then, Kevin walks in front of Lucy,
rushing to get to Livvie. But Ian tackles Kevin and
Lucy fires, striking Caleb. Livvie screams in protest
and proclaims her love for the fallen Caleb. Caleb
tells Livvie that her great 'friends' set her up and
used Livvie to get to Caleb. As Livvie cries that she
can't lose Caleb again, Kevin tries to get to Livvie,
but Ian hits Kevin again and knocks Kevin down. When
Rafe, Jack, Lucy and Ian move closer to get a closer
look at their dying enemy, Livvie accuses Jack of
destroying Caleb because Jack was jealous of Livvie's
love for Caleb. Then Livvie screams that Lucy always
hated Livvie. Livvie accuses them all of murder and
Jack slams the music box shut. At the same time,
Alison arrives at the gateway to the Scenic Overlook,
searching for Rafe. Meanwhile, Tess suddenly returns
and realizes that Caleb is dying in her arms. Caleb
again informs Tess that they used her to get to him.
Tess demands that Jack tell her if Caleb is telling
her the truth. As Lucy turns to Ian and worries that
Tess will NEVER understand WHY it was so important for
them to destroy Caleb that they stooped to tricking an
innocent young girl like Tess, Lucy happily notices
that the vampire symptoms are leaving Ian.
After Casey leaves the alley behind Stephen's Studio,
Ricky tells Jamal that Jamal is lucky to have wriggled
off of Marissa's hook - because Ricky believes the
girl is seriously whacked! Meanwhile, Casey slips back
into the Studio and watches as Reese, Caz and Joshua
worry about what is happening to them. Joshua
announces that he is going to find out what is
happening and dashes out of the Studio. Outside, Jamal
and Ricky suddenly notice that the sky seems to be
brighter. Ricky observes that it is like something
major is happening! Meanwhile, inside the Studio,
Reese and Caz begin to realize they are losing their
powers and conclude that that must mean that someone
has successfully eliminated Caleb. Casey wonders if
her little twister might have been responsible for
whacking Caleb.
Back at the Scenic Overlook, Tess assures Caleb that
she only wanted to help him and apologizes for the
trick that took his life. Rafe takes Jack aside and
warns Jack that they need to get Tess away from Caleb
as quickly as possible. Jack gently tries to convince
Tess to leave Caleb, but Tess refuses and reminds Jack
that Tess loved Jack and trusted Jack but Jack lied to
Tess and then tricked her. Jack protests that Caleb
was NOT human, but Tess argues that Caleb WAS Capable
of love and is now dying because of Jack's trick. As
Jack grabs Tess to try to remove her, Kevin reappears
and orders Jack to take his hands off of Kevin's
daughter. When Lucy orders Kevin to leave Tess alone
because Tess is no longer Livvie, Kevin vows that he
WILL get his daughter back! As Jack tries to convince
Tess to go home with him, Rafe tells Caleb good-bye.
Kevin spots the music box in the snow, grabs the box,
and makes off with it. Caleb tells Tess that creating
her was the best thing he ever did, then breathes his
last.
Back at Elizabeth's hotel room, Elizabeth exults in
her new feeling of well-being and begins to rejoice
that her monstrous husband is finally checking out -
permanently! But, as Elizabeth toasts her happy future
as a mortal, she is interrupted by a loud knock at the
door. Expecting to see Rafe and Alison returning
together with good news, Elizabeth is shocked to find
Joshua on her doorstep. As Joshua pushes his way in
and demands to know what is going on with Elizabeth,
Elizabeth gloats that she is just fine - the best that
she has ever been. As Joshua rages at the end of his
most cherished plans if what he suspects is true,
Elizabeth gleefully grabs Joshua and shoves him out
the door, slamming the door with great satisfaction.
As Caleb dies, Alison finally finds Lucy and Ian at
the Scenic Overlook and Lucy explains that Lucy just
succeeded in exterminating Caleb. As Alison asks where
Rafe is, Lucy assures Alison that Rafe was just there.
However, Alison sees only Jack and Tess beside Caleb's
body - but no sign of Rafe! Lucy admits that Rafe is
gone - and Lucy does NOT know where Rafe has gone!
-
Tuesday, February 25- At the Scenic Overlook, as
Alison demands that Lucy tell her what has happened to
Rafe, Rafe suddenly reappears and Alison
enthusiastically greets Rafe with open arms. Ian
thanks Lucy for setting him free from Caleb's curse.
As Ian and Lucy begin to make plans for their future
together, Tess sobs beside Caleb's body and accuses
Jack of using Tess to set a trap for Caleb. As Jack
gently tries to convince Tess to go home with him,
Tess expresses the hope that she will STILL be able to
heal Caleb. Tess accuses Lucy of being a murderer, but
Lucy protests that Caleb was a total evil being who
planned to destroy them all and adds that even Caleb
might appreciate this opportunity to finally rest in
peace. After Jack convinces Tess to go home with him,
Rafe brings out the Sacred Cloth of Neer, which he
explains has been passed down for centuries by the
Kovich clan for the burial of the undead. Then Rafe
announces that it is time to put Caleb's body to rest
for eternity. Rafe covers Caleb with the cloth. Then
Rafe, Alison, Lucy and Ian pick up Caleb's body and
transport it to a special crypt that Rafe had
prepared. Rafe announces that they will conduct a
special ceremony and, after the ceremony, the body
MUST remain in solitude. Then, Rafe will return later
to dispose of the body. Rafe puts Myrrh Oil on Caleb's
forehead and makes the sign of Omega on Caleb's
forehead. Lucy explains to Alison that Omega means
'The End' - and that it means that they are sending
Caleb's spirit back to eternal darkness. Rafe
announces: "Now we seal his eyes to the world
forever!"
Alison and Lucy each take a turn, reminding Caleb of
Caleb's monstrous offenses against his many innocent
victims, and then Alison concludes: "I hope you rot in
hell!"
Rafe ends the ceremony by proclaiming: "The wheel of
life has come full circle, as we lay this being back
to the dust. No longer is life welcome in this being!
I banish the sins of his clan, the brotherhood of
destruction, that seeks to take over the world, with
the fires of inhumanity! The spirit is now rendered
powerless by the forces of light!" Ian hands a wooden
stake to Rafe and Rafe plunges the stake into Caleb's
heart.
At Jack's River House, Jack tries to explain to Tess
that Caleb was dangerous and that Jack only lied to
Tess to protect her from being destroyed by the evill
monster. But Tess refuses to believe Jack. As Jack
looks on in horror, Tess suddenly begins to just
stare, rocks back and forth and then begins to hum
'Naked Eyes!" Begging Tess NOT to hum that tune, Jack
holds Tess and covers her with a blanket. Then Jack
decides that Tess is cold and heads outside to get
more firewood. Before he goes out on the porch, Jack
promises Tess that, one day, everything connected with
Caleb will only be a terrible memory.
Later, Lucy and Ian return to Ian's Loft and Ian
declares that he feels like a dark cloud has been
lifted from the place. Ian again thanks Lucy for
saving his life and Lucy proclaims that she will
ALWAYS love Ian! When Lucy confesses that she just
wants to wash away the horror of the night, Ian coaxes
Lucy into sharing a shower with him.
Rafe and Alison return to Rafe's Loft and Alison
confesses her fears that Rafe would have to return to
the Here-After if Caleb was vanquished forever. Rafe
confesses that Rafe was ALSO worried about the same
possibility. But Rafe reminds Alison that the
important thing to ALWAYS remember is that good DOES
triumph over evil! Later, Alison confides to Rafe that
Alison is worried about Tess and the way that Tess
seemed to sincerely believe that Tess would be able to
bring Caleb back. But Rafe distracts Alison by making
plans for a picnic the following day. As they begin to
kiss, Rafe assures Alison that they will NEVER have to
worry about Caleb - ever again!
When Jack returns to his living room with an arm load
of wood, he finds Tess missing and only her rag doll,
sitting alone, beside the fire! As Jack frantically
searches the house for Tess, Tess enters Caleb's crypt
and, once again, begs Caleb's forgiveness for the
trick that took his life. Tess removes the stake and
pleads with Caleb to come back to her. As Tess lays
her head on Caleb's chest, she confesses to Caleb that
she now wishes that she had let Caleb have Livvie
back, because Tess knows now that Caleb only loved
Livvie. When Tess says: "I would save you if I could,"
and touches Caleb's forehead, a single tear from
Tess's eye falls on Caleb's cheek. At that moment, a
wind blows through the crypt. Caleb opens his eyes and
smiles up at Tess.
-
Wednesday, February 26- In the crypt, Tess revives
Caleb, to the tune of Newborn Heart. Caleb awakens and
kisses Tess.
At his loft, Rafe glances at the bedside clock, sees
that it is after midnight, and quietly slips out of
bed without waking Alison. At Jack's River House, Jack
looks at a picture of Tess, then grabs his jacket and
dashes out the door. At Ian's Loft, Ian and Lucy
finish their shower.
Later, Alison wakes up and discovers that Rafe is gone
but that he left a note, telling Alison that he had to
check on something. Alison is disturbed by a loud
knock at her door and finds Lucy on her doorstep. Lucy
reports that she is looking for Ian, who HAD been at
home, but suddenly got a weird look on his face and
took off. As Alison reports that Rafe has also gone
out, there is another knock at the door. Alison's next
visitor proves to be Elizabeth, wearing sun glasses.
Elizabeth demands to know what is happening and asks
Lucy if Lucy is to blame. When Lucy snatches
Elizabeth's sunglasses off, Alison and Lucy see that
Elizabeth's red eyes have returned. Elizabeth blasts
Lucy for being an incompetent slayer - because it is
obvious to Elizabeth that Caleb is still alive! Then
Elizabeth suddenly changes and begins to beg Lucy to
help her. Alison manages to calm Elizabeth down and
gives her mother some of Caleb's water. Lucy dashes
out, vowing to find Ian.
At the crypt, as Rafe discovers that Caleb is no
longer in the crypt, he is soon joined by Ian and
Jack. They discover the wooden stake, thrown in a
corner. And Jack reports that Tess is ALSO missing.
Jack expresses his belief that Caleb took Tess, but
Ian and Rafe voice the suspicion that it was TESS who
took Caleb somewhere! Ian tells Rafe and Jack that it
HAS to be that Tess healed Caleb and brought their
monstrous enemy back. Rafe and Jack suddenly realize
that Ian's red eyes have returned! Ian tells Jack that
Jack needs to accept the fact that, IF Tess is with
Caleb, it is because Tess WANTS to be with Caleb! But
Jack refuses to accept that explanation. Rafe urges
Ian and Jack to end their argument, so they can all
focus on finding Caleb. Jack decides to return to the
River House to see if Tess has returned home. Ian
tells Rafe that they need to accept the reality that
they will NEVER be able to defeat Caleb. Rafe promises
that, when Ian is ready to give up completely on his
life - including giving up his son Danny - then Rafe
will be happy to put Ian out of his misery. Ian
finally admits that he is not really ready to give up
all hope. Rafe encourages Ian to believe that they
will soon ALL be back to normal and Caleb WILL be gone
- forever!
When Ian returns to his Loft, he discovers that Lucy
is waiting for him and already knows that Caleb is on
the loose again. When Lucy apologizes for botching her
assignment to rid the world of Caleb, Lucy promises
that she WILL find a way to destroy Caleb - for good!
But Ian suddenly turns away from Lucy.
When Rafe returns to his Loft, he finds that Elizabeth
has fallen asleep. When Rafe announces that he
believes that Tess used her healing powers to revive
Caleb, Alison begins to worry about Jack's reaction to
Tess's latest disappearance. But Alison suddenly asks
Rafe: "Wait, Rafe --- Do you think maybe this whole
thing was a lie? I mean - Jack and Tess - and her
whole kindness thing. Do you think we were so worried
about setting HER up to get Caleb -- were WE actually
the ones being made fools of?"
Back at the River House, Jack looks at a picture of
Tess and declares that Jack believes Tess will NEVER
return to Jack, because Tess is with Caleb and that
maybe Tess ALWAYS belonged to Caleb. Jack concludes
that maybe Tess was never even real at all!
Tess takes Caleb to a cave which she announces is a
secret place that no one knows about - not even Jack.
Tess tells Caleb that she KNOWS he is Caleb - NOT
Stephen and that she is Tess not Livvie! Tess tells
Caleb that, since it was Caleb who created Tess, it
was now time for Tess to save Caleb's life. Tess tells
Caleb that she is sorry that she fought with him about
Livvie and that Tess now plans to just go to sleep and
let Livvie out, to be with Caleb. Caleb confides to
Tess that he felt Tess' unconditional love, reaching
out through the darkness to him, and it was the love
of Tess that brought Caleb back to the land of the
living. When Tess proclaims that she is now ready to
let Caleb be with Livvie, Caleb declares that he no
longer wants Livvie. It is now TESS that Caleb wants!

Thursday, February 27- Returning to the Scenic
Overlook, a frustrated Rafe addresses Ed in the
Here-After, begging to know why Caleb is back among
the living again and after Rafe followed all the
rules. Rafe begs Ed to give him some kind of clue
about a master plan that might call for Caleb to have
popped back up among the living so soon after the evil
monster's demise. Although Rafe receives no direct
answer to his query, Casey suddenly shows up! Casey is
surprised that Rafe recognizes her so quickly. When
Rafe confides that Casey has a certain 'aura' that he
can see, Casey happily announces that she is now an
official Guardian Angel and has been sent back to
protect Ricky and Marissa. Casey confides that Ed has
been keeping an eye on Rafe and that everyone upstairs
had watched Rafe and Alison's wedding and were annoyed
when the big event was suddenly called off. Casey
admits to knowing that Caleb is back - again! Rafe
notes that Casey is ALSO back and then asks if Casey
is back so she can give Rafe a clue about a way to get
rid of Caleb - for good! But Casey reminds Rafe that
Casey does NOT know how to de-fang Caleb but, even if
Casey DID know, she could NOT tip Rafe off - Rafe will
just have to figure it out on his own!
Casey tells Rafe that he just has to have faith and
hope, but Rafe confesses that he is all out of moves.
Casey tells Rafe: "Well, hey! Just do what I do!"
RAFE: "What's that?"
CASEY: "Fake it!" Rafe then begins to tell Casey about
the Village of Turmistan - where the Last Battle of
the Great War Between Slayers and Vampires was fought!
Rafe sadly relates that almost all the slayers were
killed and the vampires won. Most of the villagers
were ALSO killed. Rafe confesses that he was always
mystified as to HOW all the bad guys could win - but,
now, Rafe is beginning to understand how it WAS
possible! It was sort of like even the bad guys get a
chance to win once in a while!
Meanwhile, at Jack's River House, Jack polishes off
another bottle of booze as he bitterly tears up all of
his pictures of Livvie and Tess and burns them in the
fireplace. Alison lets herself in and attempts to
console her heart-broken friend, but Jack will have
none of it. Jack explains that he believes that, no
matter what Jack does, Livvie and Tess will ALWAYS
belong to Caleb - and Jack declares that he is
finished with making futile attempts to rescue the
woman he loves from that evil monster! Jack points out
that, because Tess brought Caleb back from the dead,
ALL of Caleb's victims will be the ones who will have
to suffer in the end. But Alison urges Jack to not
give up on his love for Tess - yet! Jack tells Alison
that it is not a matter of WANTING to give up - Jack
has come to believe that he MUST let go of Tess! Jack
sadly observes that Tess is drawn to Caleb and Caleb
controls her - and Caleb always WILL control Tess!
Jack confides to to Alison that it is like Livvie's
attraction to Caleb has a dark magic in it that is
bigger than Jack!
In her secret cave, Tess is shocked when Caleb
announces that he no longer wants Livvie back, but now
believes that Tess and Caleb were destined to be
together. But Tess reminds Caleb that she loves Jack
and that, although Tess DID help Caleb, Tess does NOT
love Caleb in the same way that she loves Jack! But
Caleb insists that Tess taught Caleb that love is NOT
filled with betrayal and it was LOVE that Caleb felt
when Tess brought Caleb back. Caleb points out that
Jack will probably NOT forgive Tess for bringing Caleb
back. Caleb goes on to tell Tess that Caleb is
convinced that Tess PROVED that she loves Caleb when
she brought Caleb back - and that Jack means nothing
to her. But, when Caleb tries to kiss her, Tess slaps
Caleb and orders him to stop it! Then Tess apologizes
for the slap and protests that she KNOWS that she
loves Jack. But Caleb argues that Tess merely feels
grateful to Jack because Jack brought Tess out of a
dark cave and into the light - and that the reason WHY
Tess could NOT let Caleb die was because she loved
Caleb. Caleb again tells Tess that he believes they
were destined to be together. But Tess tearfully
confesses that Caleb is confusing her! Putting her
hand on Caleb's heart, Tess admits that she can tell
that Caleb does NOT want to hurt her! When Tess
reminds Caleb that she is married to Jack, Caleb
claims that Jack only married Tess to keep her away
from Caleb. Caleb insists that Tess chose Caleb when
Tess reached out to save Caleb from eternal darkness.
But, when Caleb kisses her, Tess suddenly pulls away,
grabs her jacket and runs out of the cave.
Back at the Scenic Overlook, Casey reminds Rafe that:
"Angels and slayers exist because - you know who up
there - thinks people down here are worth saving -
worth fighting for. Man - even worth dying for!"
RAFE: "Is that what you think?" CASEY: "I think I am
glad that I got a place in the fight. A job to do!"
RAFE: "Listen, I know you can't really tell me much.
But - do you mind if I take you being down here as
kind of a good sign?"
CASEY: "Look, I've got to make sure Ricky is NOT
playing out in traffic!" RAFE: "Sure!" As Casey begins
to walk away, Rafe asks another question: "Hey, Casey!
Tell me something. How to you like being part of that
band?"
CASEY: "It's no surprise, man! It's just like they
advertise - Wild 101. Round the clock - sex, drugs and
Rock and....!" A sudden thunderclap stops Casey in her
tracks and Casey asks: "What! What did I say? Sheesh!"
As Casey hurries away, Rafe observes: "Sex, drugs and
rock and roll, huh?"
Meanwhile, at the River House, Alison tries to remind
Jack that Tess is the REAL Livvie - the Livvie whom
Jack fell in love with three years ago, but Tess is
still vulnerable. Alison suggests that Tess might NOT
be able to survive without Jack beside her! But Jack
argues that he can NOT care any longer! Alison urges
Jack to take some time before he makes any final
decisions about Tess. Alison invites Jack to feel free
to come talk with her any time. After Alison leaves,
Jack sadly picks up the rag doll he gave to Tess, and
then tosses the doll into the fireplace. As Jack sadly
declares: "Good-bye, Tess," Tess suddenly arrives at
the front door and calls for Jack!
-
Friday, February 28- At the Light House, Kevin looks
at Livvie's picture and contemplates the music box he
grabbed while everyone else was distracted by Caleb at
the Scenic Overlook. Kevin flashes back to the scene
at the Overlook and realizes that, when Jack opened
the music box, Tess mysteriously turned into Livvie
again. Kevin promises that he will do whatever it
takes to bring Livvie home. Then Kevin grabs his
jacket and dashes out the door. Meanwhile, at Jack's
River House, Tess asks Jack WHY he burned her things
and Jack announces that he is putting the past behind
him. Tess protests that her marriage to Jack means
everything to her, but Jack argues that that could NOT
be true as long as Tess refuses to stay away from
Caleb. Jack reminds Tess that, by bringing Caleb back,
she has hurt Rafe, Alison, Jack, Lucy and Ian - all
the people who have ever truly cared about Tess. Tess
reminds Jack that Caleb was not going to hurt her, but
Jack declares that Caleb has ALREADY hurt Tess! Jack
proclaims that their relationship is over!
As Lucy starts moving back in to her house, she is
surprised by a visit from Serena. Serena confesses
that she slipped away from her baby sitter because
Lucy sounded upset when Serena spoke to her Mom on the
telephone. Lucy tries to hurry Serena back home,
explaining that Serena's father will be VERY worried
about her. But, before Lucy can get Serena out the
door, Caleb suddenly appears! Serena, however, is
delighted to see the big bat. Serena rushes to Caleb
and declares that Serena is his biggest fan! As Lucy
tries to get Serena away from Caleb, Serena clings
tightly to the rock star's hand and Caleb solicits
Serena's help in convincing Lucy to allow Caleb to
stay in Port Charles. Lucy interrupts and demands that
Serena go to her room and call her father. Serena
finally disengages from Caleb's hand but continues to
gush about the song - Naked Eyes. As Serena leaves the
room, she hums the first few notes of Naked Eyes and
gets a promise from Caleb to sign her new CD.
Back at the River House, Tess reminds Jack that he
promised they would be together forever. But Jack
declares to Tess that he believes she IS Livvie! Tess
denies being anyone other than Tess. Jack confesses
that he feels like he keeps re-running the same
miserable, no-win story over and over again. Tess
protests that she would NEVER leave Jack, but Jack
declares that Tess has been leaving him for a long
time. When Jack tells Tess that all Caleb wants is
Livvie and that the evil monster does NOT care about
Tess, Tess tearfully admits that Caleb kissed her and
told Tess that Caleb now wants Tess - and NOT Livvie!
Tess promises Jack that she is NOT going back to Caleb
and begs Jack NOT to argue with her any more about
Caleb. But Jack refuses to believe Tess and orders her
to leave. Even though Tess begs him to reconsider,
Jack coldly announces that Tess is now free to go to
Caleb - but she just needs to go! When a sobbing Tess
runs outside, she finds Kevin waiting on the porch and
cries on her father's shoulder. Kevin has the music
box with him!
When Rafe returns to his Loft, he finds Ian waiting
there for him. Ian confides that he has been trying to
figure out a way to get rid of Caleb! Rafe declares
that the key to destroying Caleb might be contained in
the phrase: "Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll!" Rafe and
Ian decide that the water Caleb drinks is like a drug.
Sex refers to the fact that, when a slayer sleeps with
a vampire, the symptoms vanish momentarily. Rafe and
Ian agree that, since Caleb apparently can NOT be
killed, they need to find a way to take Caleb's power
away from their evil enemy - permanently! But, as they
talk, Reese and Caz suddenly burst in, intent up on
inflicting some serious damage in retaliation for the
attempt to exterminated Caleb. Rafe and Ian quickly
gain the upper hand and Caz splits. When Rafe
threatens to exterminate Reese permanently, Reese
confesses that the first notes of Naked Eyes has a
secret message - but Reese does NOT know what the
message is! After Reese leaves, as Rafe and Ian listen
over and over again to the first part of 'Naked Eyes,'
Rafe confesses that he believes that the notes are
like fingernails on a chalk board, but Ian declares
that there is something soothing about the music. Ian
tells Rafe that he can hear voices, water and then
shots ring out. But Rafe insists that he can NOT
listen to the music any more and orders a startled Ian
to turn the music off before Rafe kills him!
When Serena runs to get her CD and leaves Lucy and
Caleb alone, Lucy warns Caleb to stay away from
Serena. When Serena returns with the CD, Caleb signs
it, then kisses the delighted girl on the cheek! A
horrified Lucy finally convinces Serena to go to her
room. After Serena leaves, Caleb announces that, since
Lucy has tried to kill him twice, Caleb has arrived to
return the favor! But, when Caleb turns his back
momentarily, Lucy brings out a silver stake and
threatens her evil enemy with permanent extinction.
But, when Serena suddenly calls to Lucy from upstairs,
Lucy is distracted and Caleb takes the stake away from
Lucy. Once she is disarmed, Lucy begins to tell Caleb
that she has always been kind of fond of him. Lucy
then entices Caleb into kissing her!
-
Monday, March 3- Kevin is thrilled when he runs into a
sobbing Tess on Jack's porch. When Tess confesses that
Jack ordered her to leave, Kevin happily invites Tess
to stay at the Light House with him. As Tess agrees to
go with him, Kevin flashes back to the scene at the
Overlook, when he saw Livvie appear after Jack opened
Caleb's music box. Kevin grabs the music box and tells
himself: "And you, Livvie, will soon be right here!"
Later, at the Light House, Kevin calms Tess's fears
and encourages his daughter to share her feelings
about the events at the Scenic Overlook. But Kevin is
shocked when Tess confesses that she revived Caleb and
that evil monster is still roaming among the living.
When Tess finally relaxes a little, Kevin brings out
the music box and opens it. As Tess listens to the
music, Livvie suddenly emerges and embraces her
ecstatic father!
At Rafe's Loft, Ian is surprised when Rafe angrily
orders Ian to turn Caleb's music off before Rafe kills
Ian. But Ian tries to argue that he hears a beautiful
spring in the music. However, Rafe suddenly grabs Ian
by the throat and begins to throttle Ian. As Ian tries
to remind Rafe that he is Ian, Alison suddenly arrives
and tries to pull Rafe away from Ian, but Rafe is too
strong for her. Ian shouts to Alison to turn off the
music and, as soon as the music is off, Rafe suddenly
lets go of Ian and confesses that he does NOT remember
what just happened. Rafe explains that the first few
notes of Caleb's 'Naked Eyes' had filled Rafe with
hatred for all vampires, including Ian - and Rafe
attacked Ian automatically. Ian reports to Rafe and
Alison that Ian saw a place and he was being called
there. Ian describes the place as all white and cold,
except for a hot spring, right in the middle. Ian
explains that he heard the voices of people - some
were calm and at peace and others were screaming. Then
Ian mentions that he could hear the sound of muskets.
As Rafe and Ian wonder WHY the music would cause such
different reactions, Rafe suggests that maybe the
music has a different effect on slayers and vampires.
Alison suggests that maybe the music has an even
different effect on ordinary people and suggests that
Alison listen to the music - alone. Rafe insists that
Alison should NOT listen to the music alone, but Ian
agrees with Alison - Ian argues that there has to be
some reason why Ian saw weird images when he heard the
music but when Rafe heard the SAME music, the music
kicked Rafe's slayer instincts into overdrive. Alison
insists that, if she uses headphone, the music would
NOT affect Ian or Rafe and Rafe reluctantly agrees to
the experiment. As Alison listens, she gets a far-away
look in her eyes, then suddenly reaches over and
kisses Rafe. When Ian turns the music off, Alison
describes that she felt so connected to Rafe as she
listened to the music that she only wanted to think
about their future together. But, as Alison tries to
kiss Rafe again, Rafe surprises Alison by pulling away
and announcing that he does NOT want any kisses that
were brought about by a spell being cast by Caleb's
music! Ian suddenly worries about Lucy and dashes out
of the Loft.
Meanwhile, at Lucy's Place, as Caleb and Lucy get
passionate, Caleb demands to know what Lucy wants. As
Lucy tries to convince Caleb that she is blown away
with passion for him, Caleb suddenly takes an interest
in Lucy's neck and a terrified Lucy skitters out of
Caleb's grasp. Caleb angrily announces to Lucy that he
is NOT stupid and is NOT enticed by Lucy's latest
ploy. Lucy reminds Caleb that, IF Caleb kills Lucy,
the evil of such a monstrous act would drive Tess away
from Caleb forever, and Caleb would be kissing
good-bye to his last chance to have Livvie back. Lucy
advises Caleb that Lucy KNOWS that Tess is wrong about
Caleb and that it is plain to Lucy that Caleb does NOT
want to be saved! As Caleb begins to explain that he
no longer wants Livvie, Lucy grabs her silver stake
and threatens Caleb again. But Caleb suddenly gets a
premonition that something is up with Tess and
disappears, leaving Lucy alone!
At the Light House, Kevin begins to make enthusiastic
plans for Livvie to go away with Kevin so that Livvie
can get stronger. But Livvie insists that she NEEDS to
go find Caleb. Kevin explains that, whenever the music
is NOT playing, Livvie disappears. So Kevin believes
that they MUST find a way for Livvie to get her body
back. Kevin tries to convince Livvie that he CAN go
along with Livvie's feelings for Caleb, but what is
most important to Kevin at the moment is that they
make sure that the 'Tess' part of Livvie NEVER comes
back! As Kevin encourages Livvie to fight for herself,
Caleb suddenly appears and a delighted Livvie rushes
into Caleb's arms. Livvie proclaims: "It's me -
Livvie!"
But Caleb replies: "Not any more!" and suddenly slams
the music box shut. As soon as the music stops, Tess
reappears, with no memory of what went on while she
was Livvie. When Kevin informs Caleb that the evil
monster just saved the wrong girl, Caleb announces: "I
know!" and then begins smashing the music box into
bits!
Meanwhile, at her place, Lucy is desperately trying to
call Ian, when Ian suddenly bursts through the door!
When Lucy confesses that she just tried to seduce
Caleb to save her life and protect Serena upstairs,
Ian suddenly demands to know just exactly how far Lucy
was willing to go to neutralize her evil enemy!
At the Light House, Kevin demands to know WHY Caleb
destroyed the music box, because the box was the ONLY
way to get Livvie back! But Caleb calmly announces
that he no longer wants Livvie and begins to leave
with Tess. As Kevin stoops to retrieve the broken
pieces of the music box, Kevin warns Caleb that Caleb
just destroyed his own future. Kevin predicts that
Caleb will soon tire of Tess and will eventually
corrupt Tess, the same way Caleb corrupts everything
he touches. On the porch, Caleb informs Tess that she
is coming home with Caleb, but, inside the Light
House, a determined Kevin vows to keep pushing until
he gets his daughter back!
-
Tuesday, March 4- As Jamal watches Casey chow down on
a burger at the Recovery Room, Jamal tries to give
Casey tips to help the Angel become more like her
missing sister, Marissa. Meanwhile, Ricky watches
Casey and Jamal through the window until Reese
ambushes Ricky. Reese tries to convince Ricky to find
a dark corner with her and continue where they left
off when the twister hit Stephen's Studio. But Reese
is disappointed when Ricky blows her off and goes
inside to huddle with Jamal and Casey. When Ricky goes
inside, Ricky begins to quiz Jamal and 'Marissa' about
their on-again, off-again relationship, pointing out
that they seem to be spending more time together now
that they have broken up than they did when they were
'together.' When Jamal tries to convince Ricky that
Jamal and 'Marissa' have reconciled, Jamal plants a
kiss on Casey to prove his point. But Ricky insists
that he STILL does NOT believe Jamal's claims. When
Ricky gets Casey alone later, Ricky suddenly kisses
Casey and lets the angel know that he realizes she IS
Casey! As Ricky and Casey kiss, Jamal catches up to
them just in time to hear a clap of thunder and see
Casey disappear. As Ricky asks what he did to cause
Casey to disappear, Jamal announces: "You blew her
cover! This can't be good, bro!"
As Reese fumes on the bench outside the Recovery Room,
bemoaning Ricky's apparent disinterest in her, Jack
suddenly joins Reese on the bench. Jack informs Reese
that Jack was once a creature of the night and Reese
admits that she suspected something like that might be
true when she saw Jack's display of strength when Jack
lifted the fallen tree off of Reese's leg. Reese
begins to be interested and Jack admits that he split
up with his wife and then congratulates Reese for the
part Reese played in Caleb's master plan to grab
Jack's wife. Jack announces that he is tired of the
sweetness and light routine he got from Tess and might
be interested in some Mattress Mambo with a
'Bat-Girl!" Reese asks if Jack is saying he wants to
become a vampire again and Jack confides that he feels
like he has nothing left to lose. After kissing Reese,
Jack and Reese head off to Jack's River House.
When Tess and Caleb return to Caleb's apartment, Caleb
tries to convince Tess that they belong together and
Tess needs to stay away from Kevin, who is still
trying to recover Livvie. But Tess reminds Caleb that
she is married to Jack because she LOVES Jack and she
does NOT love Caleb in the same way that she loves
Jack. Caleb argues that Tess is with Caleb now because
Jack does NOT understand her heart. When Tess points
out that she could never love someone whose heart was
as filled with hate, rage and revenge as Caleb's heart
is, Caleb confesses that he HAD planned to kill Lucy
that night, but Caleb stopped when he realized that
Tess needed him. Tess reminds Caleb that she could NOT
love him so long as he held the desire to kill inside
of him. But Caleb claims that something inside of him
changed when Tess saved his life. Caleb insists that,
tonight, he chose love over hate - and it was all
because of Tess! Caleb confesses that, while he wants
Tess to spend eternity with him and Tess is welcome to
stay with Caleb if she wants to stay, Caleb won't try
to force Tess to stay with him. Caleb announces to
Tess that she is free to go try to patch things up
with Jack if that is what she wants to do. Tess
declares that she MUST talk to Jack - and leaves.
Later, when Jack and Reese arrive at the River House,
they begin kissing - just as Tess arrives and catches
them!
At Lucy's Place, as Ian quizzes Lucy about her attempt
to seduce Caleb, Lucy angrily defends her actions.
When Ian asks Lucy to promise that she will NEVER
attempt something like that again, Lucy becomes angry,
orders Ian to get out of her house, and knocks over a
chair. The falling chair knocks a large book off the
table. When Ian bends down to retrieve the book, he
becomes transfixed by a picture he sees in the book.
As Lucy apologizes for her angry outburst and
reassures Ian that she wouldn't want to live if Ian
could not be in her life, Ian explains about Rafe's
experiment with Caleb's music. Ian explains to Lucy
that, when Ian listens to the first five notes of
Caleb's Naked Eyes, Ian has a vision of the same place
that is pictured in the book, while the same notes
drive Rafe up a tree! Lucy agrees that the first five
notes of Caleb's song also make her feel very
disturbed. As Ian and Lucy look at the picture in the
book, Lucy reads that the place pictured is a healing
pool of hot springs surrounded by a legend: "From this
pool, the dead will return to life." As Lucy and Ian
decide that this could refer to Caleb, Caleb sits
alone in his apartment and plays the first five notes
of Naked Eyes, over and over again, on his guitar.
-
Wednesday, March 5- As Elizabeth contemplates a cold
dinner, alone, in her hotel room, she is appalled when
Joshua shows up on her doorstep and accuses her of
avoiding her one and only eternal buddy. Joshua gloats
to Elizabeth that she jumped the gun when she leaped
to the conclusion she had been permanently de-fanged
by Caleb's demise. Joshua then begins to tell
Elizabeth all about Caleb's endless parade of women,
but Elizabeth accuses Joshua of just trying to turn
Elizabeth against Caleb. Joshua encourages Elizabeth
to get even with Caleb for using and abusing her by
helping Joshua plot the final downfall of Caleb
Morley! Elizabeth seems interested, until Joshua
suggests that, IF Joshua and Elizabeth only knew HOW
Rafe was planning to attack Caleb next, Joshua could
give the plan a helpful little nudge. When Elizabeth
angrily refuses to spy on Alison, Joshua assures
Elizabeth that she will soon WANT to spy on her
daughter and Rafe because it will just be a case of
Alison helping her mother get revenge for Caleb's
ruthless treatment of Elizabeth. When Joshua begins to
nibble on Elizabeth's neck, Elizabeth protests at
first, but Joshua and Elizabeth eventually end up in
bed together.
At Lucy's Place, Ian is frustrated that the book with
the picture of the healing spring has no title on it.
When Lucy apologizes for her angry outburst, Ian
kisses her. Ian tells Lucy that he is positive that,
IF he can figure out the mystery of the healing pool,
it will lift the curse from Ian forever! Lucy suddenly
decides that she knows WHO will be able to help them
unravel the mystery of the hot springs and hustles Ian
off to visit Victor. Later, Ian and Lucy try to
convince Victor that Ian is writing a medical paper
about the healing spring, but Victor announces that he
does NOT believe them! Lucy finally coaxes Victor to
tell them about a legendary healing spring that became
known when some Revolutionary War soldiers stumbled
across it and, when they bathed their wounds in the
water, they were healed. Victor explains that the pool
is around Port Charles somewhere, because it was
because people kept arriving in the area to bathe in
the healing springs that led to the decision to build
the Hospital! Lucy takes a few minutes alone with
Victor and attempts to apologize for Lucy's break-up
with Kevin. Victor assures Lucy that he understands
why Lucy felt she could not continue to put up with
Kevin's strange behavior. As Lucy and Victor talk, Ian
suddenly discovers a book that tells about the
Revolutionary War Battle of Putnam's Field in 1775 -
and includes a picture of the healing pool! Victor
suggests that some ancient maps he has might give them
a clue about the pool's whereabouts.
At Rafe's Loft, as Rafe keeps writing down the first
five notes of Naked Eyes on music sheets, searching
for a message, Alison returns and tries to strike up a
conversation about Rafe's perception that Alison
kissed Rafe after listening to Caleb's music because
Alison was under some kind of spell from Caleb's
music. When Rafe just begins kissing her instead of
arguing, Alison insists that it is NOT funny and that
she IS serious in her objections. Rafe and Alison are
interrupted by a persistent knocking on the door. When
Rafe answers the door, he discovers that Kevin is
there and Kevin announces that he has come to
volunteer to help Rafe get rid of Caleb. Kevin offers
to help Rafe untangle Caleb's twisted mind, but Rafe
reminds Kevin that Kevin ALSO wants to get rid of Tess
- permanently! However, Kevin insists that Kevin wants
BOTH parts of Livvie - back together again - as a
complete person. But Rafe reminds Kevin of the times
that Kevin has hurt Lucy - and Kevin interprets Rafe's
comments as a rebuff of Kevin's offer to help.
However, as Kevin begins to leave, Kevin spots the
music sheets with notes on them and declares that
there is a message in those notes!
At Jack's River House, Jack and Reese's kiss is
interrupted by the unexpected arrival of Tess! Even
though Reese protests the interruption, Jack rushes
out to apologize to Tess but, when Jack catches up
with Tess, Jack announces that he does NOT regret his
involvement with Reese! Tess protests that Jack comes
first with her but Jack argues that Tess is really
'with' Caleb! When Jack admits that his heart is
broken, Tess pleads with Jack to allow Tess to heal
his heart, but Jack refuses any kind of help that
comes from Tess. Jack reminds Tess that their life
together and Tess' powers were something special -
UNTIL Tess used her powers to turn a monster like
Caleb Morley loose on the world again! When Tess
argues that Caleb is NOT a monster, Jack announces to
Tess that she needs to go back to her lover and leave
Jack alone. Tess sadly walks away from Jack's House.
As Jack sadly watches Tess walk away, Reese comes out
on the porch. When Jack reminds Reese of their plans
for the evening, Reese announces that Jack is WAY too
complicated for her and she does NOT need any more
complications in her life at the moment. And Reese
walks away as well. Meanwhile, Tess runs through the
woods until she finds herself back at her old home in
the cave. When Tess arrives, she quickly finds the
book of fairy tales that Jack used to read to her and
tearfully tells herself that there will NOT be a
happily ever after for her and Jack. Tess sadly
wonders where she will go next and what will become of
her, if Jack is no longer a part of her life.
At Rafe's Loft, Rafe and Alison are mystified when
Kevin connects the first five notes of Naked Eyes to
make a three-dimensional drawing of something that
looks like steps, and keeps insisting that the drawing
IS a message!
Meanwhile, at Victor's Place, Victor shows Lucy and
Ian his old Revolutionary War period maps. Lucy spots
a notation on one map that Victor explains is in Dutch
and translates the meaning: "Place of Healthy Waters."
But the map that Lucy is holding has a piece missing!
-
Thursday, March 6- At the Recovery Room, a tipsy
Elizabeth pours her heart out to Frank, declaring
herself to be a magnet for losers. But, when Elizabeth
makes an attempt to get VERY friendly with Frank,
Frank wriggles away to make a call. On the phone,
Frank assures someone that he is good for the money
and will get it! In the meantime, Joshua moves in on
Elizabeth. Reminding Elizabeth that they BOTH want to
destroy Caleb - and that Elizabeth's future son-in-law
ALSO wants to destroy Caleb - Joshua urges Elizabeth
to pay a visit to Rafe and Alison to see if she can
pick up any details about Rafe's plan for Caleb's
destruction. As Elizabeth and Joshua argue about
Joshua's plan, Frank notices the argument and orders
Joshua to leave Elizabeth alone. Elizabeth thanks
Frank for his intervention, but declares she was
leaving any way. After Elizabeth leaves, Frank warns
Joshua to leave Elizabeth alone. But Joshua tells
Frank that Joshua is VERY impressed with Frank's the
way Frank handles himself in a crisis! After Frank
leaves, Joshua muses that someone with a quick temper
and willingness to fight, such as Frank, MIGHT be an
asset to Joshua!
At Rafe's Loft, Rafe and Alison sum up their
discoveries so far: When Rafe hears the first five
notes of Naked Eyes - it makes Rafe want to strangle
Ian. But the SAME notes make Alison eager to hop in
bed. However, the first five notes of Naked Eyes give
Ian a vision of some kind of Oasis with a hot spring
in the middle. But, when KEVIN saw the notes, Kevin
made some kind of pattern by connecting the notes. As
Rafe and Alison puzzle over the mystery of the notes,
Lucy and Ian burst in with news about their discovery
of the picture of the hot springs that Ian has been
seeing in his visions. Lucy and Ian begin to explain
their discovery that a hot spring was once prominent
in Port Charles. As Ian shows Rafe and Alison Victor's
ancient maps, Lucy and Ian notice the pattern that
Kevin drew with the musical notes. Ian and Lucy
discover that the shape matches points on the old map.
And, when the same pattern is put over a modern-day
map of Port Charles, it matches up with a spot near
the docks - right where Caleb bought a building when
his band first arrived in Port Charles! However, Kevin
comes down from upstairs just then and Lucy angrily
orders Kevin to leave. But Kevin protests that he came
to visit Rafe to help plan the downfall of Caleb and
would have no way to know that Lucy and her boyfriend
would show up as well. Ian and Lucy suddenly become
suspicious that Caleb sent Kevin with the pattern to
plant the information with Caleb's enemies. When Lucy
declares that she does NOT trust Kevin, and Ian orders
Kevin to go home, Kevin angrily denies being a plant
sent by Caleb - and storms out! After Kevin leaves,
Ian explains the legend of the healing spring to Rafe
and Alison. Alison asks if the healing spring could be
some kind of power source for vampires, but Rafe
suggests that maybe Kevin DID conveniently arrive with
the design to help Caleb set a trap for Rafe and Lucy!
When Ian orders Lucy to stay where it is safe while
Ian checks out Caleb's building, Lucy objects and Ian
finally agrees to allow Lucy to go with him to look
for the healing spring. The planning session is
interrupted by the arrival of Elizabeth. Lucy and Ian
make some hasty excuses and head out to check out
Caleb's building, while Rafe and Alison stay to try to
distract Elizabeth. However, after Lucy and Ian leave,
Elizabeth declares that she KNOWS they were talking
about Caleb and that they are hiding something!
Elizabeth states that IF they HAVE found something out
about her husband, Elizabeth DOES have the right to
know! Meanwhile, at Caleb's Building, Lucy and Ian
discover a locked door, leading to a crawl space under
the building, with a design on the door that is the
same as the pattern that Kevin drew from the musical
notes. However, as Lucy and Ian try to pick the lock,
they are surprised by the arrival of Kevin!
Tess is surprised when Caleb suddenly shows up in her
cave. Caleb tries to get Tess to leave with him, but
Tess begs Caleb to put her back the way she was BEFORE
Caleb separated the different parts of her. But Caleb
claims that not even he can do that. Declaring that he
can no longer live his life without Tess, Caleb
insists to Tess that he only wants to be with her
forever. Declaring that Tess' destiny is with Caleb,
Caleb takes Jack's wedding ring off of Tess' finger
and throws it away. When Tess asks if Caleb really
DOES love her, Caleb replies that he will love Tess
forever. Tess gently kisses Caleb's hand.
Meanwhile, at Caleb's building, as Kevin makes
sarcastic comments about Ian's breaking and entering
techniques, Tess and Caleb slowly walk through the
same alley, talking. Lucy, Ian and Kevin hear Caleb
coming and jump into the crawl space to avoid being
seen. But, as Caleb walks past the door, he notices
that the lock is open and snaps the padlock back
together. Inside the crawl space, Kevin, Ian and Lucy
hear the lock click into place. After Caleb passes,
the burglars push on the door and, when the lock does
NOT give, they conclude that they are locked in!
-
Friday, March 7- At Rafe's Loft, Elizabeth voices her
suspicion that Rafe and Alison have discovered
something important about Caleb but are keeping her in
the dark. Elizabeth begs to be a part of bringing
Caleb down, but Rafe and Alison pretend they are just
on their way out to a movie. Elizabeth tries to
reassure Rafe and Alison that Caleb no longer
exercises any power over her, but Rafe and Alison
remain skeptical about Elizabeth's claims of having
acquired some will power where Caleb is concerned.
When Rafe suddenly suggests that there is something
Elizabeth COULD help with, Alison objects. As Rafe and
Alison go into a huddle to discuss Rafe's idea,
Elizabeth flashes back to Joshua's revelations about
Caleb's womanizing habits and Joshua's belief that
Joshua and Elizabeth COULD help Rafe and Alison
guarantee Caleb's downfall. Rafe finally asks
Elizabeth to listen to the first five notes of Naked
Eyes and then tell Rafe what her impression is of the
message in the notes. Rafe whispers an explanation to
Alison that Rafe wants to know if Ian's reaction to
the notes was a fluke or if Elizabeth has the SAME
reaction to the SAME music! As Elizabeth listens to
the notes, a look of peace suddenly comes over her
face. But, when Rafe and Alison ask Elizabeth if she
had any reaction to the music, Elizabeth claims it was
nothing unusual - but then Elizabeth makes a hasty
exit, claiming she is late for dinner with an old
friend. Alison observes: "Mother, you don't have any
old friends!" But Elizabeth rushes away and Rafe and
Alison decide to follow Elizabeth - guessing that her
'old friend' is probably Caleb. As Rafe and Alison
follow Elizabeth, they can tell that she IS headed to
Caleb's apartment, telling herself: "I HAVE to tell
him what I know!" Alison sadly confides to Rafe that,
in spite of the many times that Caleb has hurt her
mother, Elizabeth apparently still loves the evil
monster!
In Caleb's apartment, Tess thanks Caleb for offering
her a place to stay and Caleb assures Tess that he
just wants her to feel at home. Caleb gallantly
volunteers to spend the night on the couch. However,
as Caleb drifts off to sleep, he flashes back to the
encounter with his stepmother which turned him into an
evil monster - and recalls Tess expressing her belief
that Caleb COULD free himself from his family curse.
When Caleb calls out in his sleep, Tess rushes to his
side! Tess encourages Caleb to confide in her about
his nightmare. When Caleb confesses that he was
remembering the argument with his father and the
encounter with his stepmother that turned him into an
evil being, Tess declares that she believes that Caleb
is able to return to being the man he was before his
evil family turned him into a monster. Tess again
states her opinion that she believes that Caleb
created her so that she could save him and return him
to the life Caleb had in the days when he resisted the
evil of his family heritage. Tess tells Caleb that she
wants the best part of Caleb to make love to the best
part of Tess. To the tune of Newborn Heart, Caleb
begins to kiss Tess and then carries her back to his
bed. As Caleb and Tess kiss on the bed, Elizabeth
arrives at Caleb's apartment and walks right in,
staring in horror and disbelief at the sight of her
husband, in bed with healer Tess!
In the crawl space underneath Caleb's building, Lucy
begins to have problems with claustrophobia, while
Kevin makes caustic comments about Ian's career as a
home-wrecker and demands to know WHAT they are
supposed to be looking for in their cramped quarters.
When Lucy has a serious attack of claustrophobia, Ian
is astounded when Kevin is able to calm Lucy down by
encouraging her to whistle. Finally, the trio see a
light ahead of them and begin to hear the sound of
water. Eventually, Kevin, Ian and Lucy break through
to an ethereal, phosphorescent cavern, enshrouding a
bubbling hot spring. As Lucy remarks at the beauty of
the cavern, Kevin realizes that Lucy and Ian KNEW the
cavern was there and demands to know what this place
is. Ian and Lucy claim they do NOT know. But Lucy
announces that she is getting a bad feeling about this
when they suddenly hear someone moaning and Lucy
declares that they are NOT alone!
-
Monday, March 10- As Elizabeth enters Caleb's
apartment, eager to share her good news with her
husband, she is shocked when she believes she sees her
husband in bed with Livvie - Caleb's one great love.
Until Caleb calls out Tess's name in the throes of
passion! Angry that Caleb decided to hop in bed with
his true love's mousey double, Elizabeth storms away.
At the same time, Tess announces to Caleb that he has
turned away from the dark side tonight. After they hit
the sheets, Caleb tells Tess that he is surprised by
the way his tryst with Tess has made him feel.
However, as Caleb continues to drink water from his
blue bottle, Tess stops him and they begin kissing
again. Tess and Caleb hit the sheets again. When Tess
isn't looking, Caleb flashes his fangs, but changes
his mind and just kisses Tess. After Tess falls
asleep, Caleb leaves the bed.
In the Underground Cavern, Kevin, Ian and Lucy are
surprised when Rafe and Alison show up. Rafe announces
that he and Alison followed the map that Lucy left
behind. When Kevin begins asking questions about the
cavern and why everyone has assembled there, Rafe
tells Kevin that it does NOT concern him. As Ian
announces that he believes they WILL find answers
there, the screams they have heard in the background
become louder, then suddenly stop, then start up
again. When Rafe puts his hands up and says: "Shhh!" -
the screaming suddenly stops and Rafe announces that
there is both pain and healing in this place. When
Kevin continues to ask embarrassing questions, Lucy
angrily informs "Doc" that it is NONE of his business.
But Kevin notices that Lucy called him "Doc" - and
points it out to her! When Rafe asks Kevin WHY Kevin
is SO determined to hang around and ask questions,
Kevin replies that, since Caleb destroyed Kevin's
daughter, Kevin wants to see an end to that evil
monster's reign of terror as much as everyone else in
town. When Ian continues to refuse to include Kevin in
their plans, Kevin declares that: "I saw something in
those notes that the rest of you did NOT!" Rafe
finally agrees that they MIGHT need Kevin's special
knowledge to put all the pieces of Caleb's puzzle
together. Ian finally agrees to allow Kevin to remain.
When Alison asks about the screams they could hear,
Lucy offers the opinion that the screams came from the
ghosts of Revolutionary War soldiers who came to the
spring to be healed - more than three hundred years
ago! However, when Alison reaches out toward the
spring, Rafe stops Alison and warns her NOT to touch
the water. Rafe reminds everyone that, since the water
is under CALEB'S building, the water COULD be toxic!
Rafe urges everyone to leave the cavern now and visit
the spring at another time. Rafe lets everyone know
that Rafe and Alison found the spring by following
Elizabeth, AFTER Elizabeth listened to the first five
notes of Caleb's song, 'Naked Eyes." While Lucy
worries that Elizabeth must have told Caleb, Rafe
points out that if Caleb KNEW that they had discovered
the spring, Caleb would have arrived to attack them by
now. Lucy suggests that they take a little of the
water and analyze it and Alison offers her water
bottle, which Ian gingerly dips into the spring. Then
they all head for Ian's Loft. After Kevin and Ian
enter the tunnel, Lucy takes Rafe and Alison aside to
clue them in that Kevin does NOT know that Ian has
joined the creatures of the night and Lucy urges Rafe
and Alison to help her keep Kevin in the dark about
Ian's special problems. When Alison asks, Lucy admits
that Lucy gets the same kind of bad vibes about the
cavern that Rafe feels!
Elizabeth stomps into her hotel room, angrily
muttering to herself her list of grievances against
Caleb and yanking her clothes off. As Elizabeth gets
undressed, she babbles that she had hoped to get Caleb
back with her stupid little surprise - and all the
while, Elizabeth's ungrateful husband was in bed with
that mousey little Tess! Elizabeth is startled when
she realizes that Joshua is in her room and taking in
her entire tirade! Joshua accuses Elizabeth of
planning to betray Joshua and take the information
that Elizabeth gleaned from snooping into Rafe and
Alison's plans - directly to their arch-enemy - Caleb!
But Elizabeth vehemently denies Joshua's accusation
and announces to Joshua that she finally realizes that
Joshua has been right all along about the way Caleb
turned Elizabeth into a walking freak of nature and
then doomed her to live in a perpetual state of
loneliness forever. Elizabeth declares that she is now
100% behind Joshua's power play to topple Caleb!
Elizabeth fills Joshua in on Rafe's experiment with
the first five notes of Naked Eyes. Elizabeth explains
to her cohort that, while Elizabeth listened to
Caleb's music, she had a vision of an icy paradise
with a hot spring in the middle - and that Elizabeth
just had an overwhelming feeling that she SHOULD go to
that place! Joshua decides that what they MUST do is
find that spring and find out what the spring means to
Caleb. Joshua further points out his suspicion that
Rafe ALREADY knows where to find the spring - and was
merely using Elizabeth to to confirm what Rafe had
ALREADY guessed! Elizabeth agrees that Joshua is
probably right and Joshua proclaims that he and
Elizabeth CAN succeed in bringing Caleb to his knees -
but they DO need each other! Elizabeth agrees to
continue spying on Rafe. Then Joshua and Elizabeth
begin to kiss to seal their bargain and head for the
bed.
Kevin, Rafe, Alison, Lucy and Ian all gather at Ian's
loft and Kevin lets Lucy know that he recognizes all
of the General Hospital lab equipment that appears to
have mysteriously found its way into Ian's apartment!
Ian discovers that, when Ian mixes the water from the
healing spring with the formula that Chris came up
with during Chris' research into vampirism, the list
of ingredients matches the list of ingredients in the
water that Caleb packages in the blue bottles! Rafe
wonders idly if the water from the healing spring
could cure a vampire completely. As Rafe speaks, Caleb
visits the healing spring and contemplates the water!
-
Tuesday, March 11- At Lucy's Place, as Lucy enjoys a
soothing bubble bath with Ian's help, Lucy assures Ian
that Kevin will NOT learn that Ian has turned into a
creature of the night. But Ian glumly observes that
everyone will eventually learn the truth. Later, as
Lucy and Ian enjoy the tub together while listening to
classical music, Ian suddenly wonders if soaking in
the healing spring while listening to Caleb's music
would be the secret that would lead to Ian's healing.
Ian and Lucy immediately hop out of the tub and head
back to the healing pool to test their theory.
At Stephen's Studio, Joshua tries to get Ricky, Caz
and Reese in the mood to practice. Just as Joshua
assigns Ricky to sign the lead because Stephen has not
shown up yet, Caleb arrives. Caleb hands out new music
to the band and takes Joshua aside for a conference.
As Caleb and Joshua huddle, Ricky notices Casey
creeping back into the studio and quickly hustles the
angel outside to talk to her. Caleb announces to
Joshua that they will no longer be known as the
Stephen Clay Experience but as The Experience,
Featuring Caleb Morley - because Caleb now wants the
whole world to know who he really is. Arguing that the
band will lose some of the name recognition they have
built up with their original name, Joshua tries to
talk Caleb out of his decision. But Caleb refuses to
listen to Joshua, pointing out that even the rumors of
vampirism have helped to boost record sales. Caleb
reminds Joshua that Joshua's job is to look after the
band - and Elizabeth. Reminding Joshua that Caleb does
NOT want to see Elizabeth get hurt, Caleb asks Joshua
how long Joshua has been sleeping with Elizabeth.
Joshua evades the question, but replies that he
believes it is a good way to keep an eye on Elizabeth.
As Jack polishes off another bottle of booze at the
River House, he is suddenly haunted by a vision of
Livvie, determined to make sure Jack knows exactly why
ALL of the women that Jack ever loved have thrown Jack
over for Caleb. Jack realizes that he is talking to a
vision. But, as Livvie begins to remind Jack that even
Tess is with Caleb now, Jack states his determination
to get away from Livvie's haunting jeers, and bolts
out the door.
In the alley outside Stephen's Studio, Ricky kisses
Casey, but the angel finally admits to Ricky that she
is now a guardian angel whose assignment is to protect
Ricky from Caleb's being killed by Caleb's cohorts.
Casey is shocked when Ricky announces that Ricky has
ALWAYS known the truth about Caleb's band - but
doesn't care! Claiming that his association with the
big bat has given him a successful music career, Ricky
explains to Casey that, once Casey left for the
Here-After, the only thing Ricky had left to live for
was his music. But Casey continues to try to warn
Ricky that he needs to get away from the band before
he ends up very dead - for real! However, Ricky
declares to Casey that, as long as Ricky is in danger,
Casey will continue to hang around to keep him out of
trouble - so Ricky will end up with the best of both
worlds - a built-in excuse to hang out with Casey as
well as a successful music career! As Casey and Ricky
hug, Casey promises that she will always be watching
over Ricky.
Caleb claims to be overjoyed when a hung-over Jack
arrives at the Studio. As Caleb orders Jack to get
out, Caz brings a note to Caleb. After Caleb reads the
note, Caleb changes his mind and tells Jack that Jack
can remain at the Studio. Then Caleb leaves,
announcing that practice is over for the day. Jack
immediately finds Reese and they leave the studio
together.
When Lucy and Ian rush back to the healing pool, they
are stunned when they discover that the entrance to
the crawl space is now gone and that they are now
facing a solid brick wall! When Caleb returns to his
apartment, he is thrilled to discover that Tess has
prepared a romantic dinner for him. In the alley
behind the Studio, as Jack and Reese kiss, Jack begs
Reese to go ahead and bite him!
-
Wednesday, March 12, first 15 mins - After a romp in
the hay with Reese in the alley behind Stephen's
Studio, Jack is disappointed when Reese announces that
she does not do 'mercy' bites and refuses to give Jack
what he asked for. When Reese angrily heads toward the
park, Jack follows her. When Jack catches up with
Reese, Jack reminds Reese that Jack has been a fellow
creature of the night. But Reese points out that Jack
obviously did NOT want to pay the price before and
reverted to his mortal status as soon as he had the
chance. Reese declares that Jack still is not ready to
pay the price and should be happy that Reese is
turning him down. Jack engages Reese in a conversation
about her life before she met Caleb and Reese
confesses that her mother was a lush and her father
was one of her mother's many one night stands!
Joshua storms into Elizabeth's hotel room, angrily
grousing about the changes Caleb intends to make in
the band and Caleb's plan to proclaim to the world
that he really is Caleb Morley. After Elizabeth
observes that Joshua must have gotten up on the wrong
side of the coffin, Joshua announces that Caleb also
knows about Joshua and Elizabeth's mutual sleeping
arrangements. Elizabeth is disappointed when Joshua
reports that Caleb is neither angry nor jealous but,
instead, merely asked Joshua not to mistreat
Elizabeth! Elizabeth suddenly switches on some
romantic music and seductively informs Joshua that she
is in the mood for a little nibble, and begins kissing
Joshua. At the same time, Alison arrives with some
dinner for her mother and walks right in. Alison
arrives just as Joshua is taking a bite out of
Elizabeth and Alison drops the casserole dish she is
carrying. As Elizabeth tries to help Alison clean up
the spilled casserole, Elizabeth tries to explain her
actions to her daughter. But Alison blasts her mother
for hopping in bed with the monster who almost killed
Alison not so long ago! When Joshua tries to defend
his actions and explain his complicated relationship
with her mother, Alison threatens to have Rafe get rid
of Joshua forever. But Alison is surprised when her
mother mounts a spirited defense for Joshua. Alison
accuses Elizabeth of enjoying rolling around in the
gutter with filth and angrily reminds her mother that
Alison has known other people who were bitten but who
resisted their baser instincts with every fiber of
their being! When Alison storms away, Elizabeth begins
to follow her daughter, but Joshua stops Elizabeth
telling Elizabeth that Alison is just ungrateful and
will only continue to hurl insults at Elizabeth.
Declaring that Joshua is the only one Elizabeth has
left now that her own daughter has deserted her,
Joshua reminds Elizabeth that their main objective
must remain bringing Caleb down and punishing the evil
monster for the heartache that Caleb caused Elizabeth.
Elizabeth agrees.
In the Park, as Reese tells Jack about her life as a
singer in Bristol before she met Caleb, Reese admits
that she has no idea who her father was and never
tried to learn about him. While Reese and Jack are
talking, Alison suddenly shows up, still angry about
her mother's involvement with Joshua. Seeing Reese
with Jack, Alison attacks Reese, socking the bat-girl
in the stomach. Alison is surprised when Jack appears
to not welcome Alison's rescue! When Jack tries to
defend his involvement with Reese, Alison blasts Jack
for throwing his life away on a cockroach who lives in
filth! After Alison storms away, Jack explains that
Alison was his friend long ago. When Jack offers to
take Reese for a cup of coffee, Reese declares that
she is not into dating, and turns Jack down. But,
after Jack leaves the Park, Reese vows: "I never
forget a sucker punch, Alison. And neither will you!"
Caleb is surprised when Tess greets him with a
romantic dinner and sweetly admits that she got the
idea from a magazine article titled "How To Make Your
Man Happy!" Caleb assures Tess that she does not need
a magazine to make him happy. When Caleb sadly
confesses that he has a long history of tarnishing
everything he touches, Tess assures Caleb that he can
not hurt her, because she simply loves him. However,
when Caleb burns his hand on one of the dishes and
Tess tries to heal the wound, Tess is devastated when
she realizes that she has lost her healing powers!
When Caleb tells Tess not to worry about the lost
powers, Tess theorizes that her gifts of healing had
been given to her for the express purpose of saving
Caleb's life and healing Caleb's heart. Alas since she
has done all of that, Tess no longer needs her healing
powers. As Tess declares that she and Caleb are soul
mates, Caleb assures Tess that he loves her and they
kiss again. (Last 5 minutes of this episode continued

-
Thursday, March 13- At Stephen's Loft, Caleb plays
'Newborn Heart' again and flashes back to the night
that he created Tess. Caleb tells himself: "I was
right, Tess. I created you for me!" Tess discovers
Caleb brooding and Caleb announces that he has some
work he has to do at the studio and leaves, reminding
Tess as he goes that Eternity is theirs.
In Elizabeth's Hotel room, as Joshua gets ready for
work, he instructs Elizabeth to kiss and make up with
Alison so Elizabeth can resume her snooping. Elizabeth
reluctantly agrees that she realizes it is imperative
that they learn Rafe's game plan if they are going to
be successful in defeating their mutual enemy!
When Alison arrives at Rafe's Loft, she discovers that
Lucy and Ian are already there. When Alison reports
that she saw Jack huddled with Bat-Girl Reese, Rafe
reports that Lucy and Ian discovered that the entrance
to the healing spring has been walled off, presumably
by Caleb. In going over the architectural drawings of
Caleb's building, the friends discover a hidden space
in the wall which Rafe decides MUST be Caleb's route
to the spring. Rafe and Ian decide they MUST get
inside Caleb's loft if they are going to successfully
visit the healing spring again. Later, Lucy and Alison
visit Caleb's loft and, finding Tess alone, they barge
in and imply that Jack is suffering terribly, is in a
really bad way and desperately needs to see Tess, if
only just to say a proper good-bye. Tess suspects a
trick but eventually agrees to go with Lucy to see
Jack. However, as Lucy, Alison and Tess drive, Tess
realizes that Lucy is NOT headed toward Jack's River
House and demands that Lucy let her out of the car.
When Lucy tries to ignore Tess's demands, Tess grabs
the wheel and drives Lucy's car off the road!
When Lucy, Alison and Tess leave the building
together, Casey gets a call from someone and promises
to keep the big bat distracted, then heads toward the
Studio. Later, when Casey arrives at the Studio, the
angel discovers Caleb practicing his guitar. But, when
Caleb decides it is time to go home, Casey tries to
keep the big bat busy by pestering him with questions
about her new lyrics. Casey is shocked when Caleb
takes one look at the lyrics and voices his suspicion
that 'Marissa' has changed too much and is possibly no
longer the same gifted person that Caleb hired to
write lyrics for his band. When Caleb decides to leave
in spite of Casey's stalling tactics, Casey tries to
stop Caleb with another indoor twister but realizes
too late that she has just blown her cover.
Elizabeth arrives at Rafe's Loft, announcing that she
is there to apologize to Alison, but discovers that
only Rafe and Ian are at the loft. Elizabeth spots the
architectural plans for Caleb's building and is
suspicious when Rafe and Ian grab the plans away from
her and hustle her right back out the door. As soon as
Elizabeth leaves, Ian receives a call from Lucy,
announcing that they have succeeded in conning Tess
into leaving the Loft. Rafe and Ian rush over to
Caleb's loft and, using some special spy equipment
donated by Victor, they successfully break into to
Caleb's apartment. Unbeknownst to Rafe and Ian,
Elizabeth has followed them. As Rafe and Ian snoop,
they discover Caleb's secret stash of magic water in
blue bottles, hidden in a concealed closet. When the
duo move some boxes, they discover an entrance which
they suspect leads to the spring. At the same time,
Elizabeth phones Joshua with the news that Rafe and
Ian have broken into Caleb's Loft. Joshua instructs
his partner to move in for a closer look at Rafe and
Ian's activities. Meanwhile, inside, armed with a
portable CD player, Ian insists that he MUST visit the
spring and listen to Caleb's music at the same time -
and Rafe accompanies Ian down the stairs. After Rafe
and Ian begin climbing down to the spring, Elizabeth
cautiously follows them down the stairs.
Casey confesses to Caleb that she is, indeed, a
heavenly visitor to earth, and has managed to secret
her sister, Marissa, away in a safe place. Announcing
that this all means that Casey is now out of the band,
Caleb disappears - but the big bat reappears beside
the side of the road, where Lucy and Alison are
admitting to Tess that they DID trick her, but it was
because they believe Caleb is ruining her life. As the
three women argue, Caleb arrives and orders Lucy to
take her hands off Tess!
At the Spring, as Rafe and Ian discuss what might
happen if Ian goes into the pool while listening to
Caleb's music, the duo suddenly hear footsteps and
manage to surprise Elizabeth, who has followed them to
the pool!

Friday, March 14 - At the Recovery Room, Jamal tries to
convince Jack to leave Reese alone, while a gloating
Joshua listens in. While Jack ignores Jamal and tries
to pick up a girl at the bar, Jamal takes time to chat
with Casey. While Casey complains that she is bombing
out on her big assignment, Ricky shows up and is
surprised to learn that Jamal seems to know all about
Casey's earthly assignment. Joshua barges in and
informs Ricky that the drummer has a choice - either
Ricky ditches the angel or gets out of the band! As
Casey and Jamal try to remind Ricky of all that he
would be giving up to stick with the undead, Joshua
reminds Ricky of all the fame and fortune the drummer
could receive by staying with the band! Jamal and
Casey are dismayed when Ricky announces that he has
chosen to stay with the band. When Reese enters the
Recovery Room, she tries to get Jack to dump his
bimbo, but Jack orders Reese to get lost! After Joshua
steps away momentarily, Jamal and Casey ask Ricky what
his plan is and they are both stunned when Ricky
announces that he just wants a chance to be somebody.
However, Ricky explains that he plans to split when he
has what he wants from Caleb and his minions. As Ricky
tries to assure Jamal and Casey that he will be fine,
Reese keeps a jealous eye on Jack trying to pick up
the girl at the bar. Then Reese suddenly storms out.
When Joshua returns, he makes an angry call to
Elizabeth's answering machine and demands that she
return his call immediately. When Frank demands that
Joshua either order something or leave, Joshua orders
a glass of red wine, then pays Frank with a $100 bill,
pretending that Joshua believes he has given Frank a
$10! When Frank fails to correct Joshua's error,
Joshua is pleased. After a triumphant Joshua leaves
with Ricky, Jamal tries to reassure Casey that Ricky
will eventually come to his senses, but Casey glumly
declares that she is sure that she has lost Ricky!
Meanwhile, Reese enters Jack's River House and begins
vandalizing the place. But, when Jack walks in on her,
Reese appears to be totally unconcerned!
In the cavern, Elizabeth admits to Rafe and Ian that
she followed them. Elizabeth announces that she
recognizes the pool as the same pool she saw in her
vision when she listened to Caleb's music, and
Elizabeth demands an explanation from Rafe and Ian.
However, Rafe accuses Elizabeth of always handing
important information over to Caleb and Joshua. As
Ian, Rafe and Elizabeth argue, Rafe and Ian rush
Elizabeth and tie her up in a different part of the
cavern.
On the roadside, Caleb demands to know what Lucy and
Alison were doing with Tess. Alison and Lucy insist
that they just wanted some time to convince Tess that
Caleb was a monster who was ruining Tess's life! Caleb
orders Tess to leave, then makes menacing moves toward
Lucy and Alison. However, Tess returns and reminds
Caleb that he is a new man now and no longer needs to
destroy. As Tess begs Caleb to resist the dark side
and let Lucy and Alison go, Tess suddenly kisses
Caleb. Then the two of them suddenly disappear. Lucy
and Alison decide they need to rush to the cavern to
let Rafe and Ian know that Caleb might be getting wise
to their diversion. As Alison and Lucy rush away,
Kevin comes out of the bushes and follows them!
Caleb takes Tess to the villa, explaining that he only
wants Tess to be safe. Tess reminds Caleb that she
exists because of Caleb and Caleb exists because of
her. However, when Caleb and Tess hit the sheets,
Caleb bares his fangs again. And, this time, Tess sees
Caleb's fangs, she screams!
When Rafe and Ian have Elizabeth securely tied up,
they return to the spring and find Lucy and Alison
waiting there for them. As Lucy and Alison explain
that Caleb caught them with Tess, Kevin slips in and
unties Elizabeth. Meanwhile, Ian decides that he still
wants to try out soaking in the spring, accompanied by
Caleb's music. When Lucy expresses the fear that it
might be dangerous for Ian to go into the healing
pool, Ian replies that he wants to be with Lucy as a
man, not a vampire. Kevin overhears Ian's statement
and angrily confronts Ian and Lucy with the knowledge
that Kevin now knows that Ian is among the undead.
Kevin accuses Lucy of having always been a sucker for
a hard luck story. As Kevin, Ian and Lucy argue,
Elizabeth slips up to the pool and dives in! As
Elizabeth splashes into the pool, the major events of
her life suddenly flash before her eyes. As Elizabeth
sinks beneath the surface of the pool, Lucy and Alison
ask what is happening. Alison announces that Elizabeth
is dead! As Alison calls to Elizabeth, Ian steps
toward the spring but Lucy stops him. At that moment,
Elizabeth resurfaces and the cavern is bathed in an
eerie red glow.
-
Monday, March 17- In the cavern, Kevin and Ian work to
revive Elizabeth after her plunge into the hot spring,
but reluctantly admit that they must declare her dead.
Alison breaks down and cries on Rafe's shoulder. When
Lucy breaks down and turns to cry on Ian's shoulder,
Kevin makes a few caustic remarks about the silliness
of the vampire slayer crying on the shoulder of a
vampire. However, as Rafe warns Kevin to watch what he
is saying, Elizabeth suddenly reappears and urges them
to all quit arguing. When Alison rushes to her
mother's side, Elizabeth collapses and Ian checks
Elizabeth out. As Lucy admits that she does not
understand what is going on, Ian declares that
Elizabeth is now fine. When Elizabeth appeals to Rafe
for answers, Rafe announces that Elizabeth did die!
Elizabeth describes jumping into the water and
remembering Caleb's song while major events of her
life flashes before her eyes. Then Elizabeth describes
that she heard everyone arguing and got up because
they were annoying her. When Ian asks Rafe if
Elizabeth is healed, Rafe admits that he does NOT
know. To test Elizabeth's 'miracle healing,' Ian
begins to invite Elizabeth to bite him, but Elizabeth
admits that the very idea is repulsive and disgusting
to her now. Alison and Rafe are thrilled as they
announce that the water must have cured Elizabeth.
However, when Ian suggests that he should go ahead and
have a dip in the pool himself, Rafe cautions against
it, and Kevin suggests that perhaps the 'miracle' cure
might NOT have lasting effects! When Rafe suggests
that Ian should wait until they have had a chance to
monitor the progress of Elizabeth's recovery, Ian
reluctantly agrees. Kevin, Rafe, Alison, Elizabeth,
Ian and Lucy all decide that they need to search to
find a way into the cavern that Caleb does NOT know
about and Rafe thanks a stunned Elizabeth for helping
them discover some important answers. As Rafe and
Alison leave to take Elizabeth back to her hotel, Lucy
and Ian stay behind at the spring. After the others
leave, Ian declares that he can NOT wait to be healed
and Ian plunges into the pool in spite of Lucy's
protests. Kevin sees Ian go under the water but walks
away, leaving Lucy alone to try to rescue Ian by
herself.
When Jack walks in on Reese vandalizing his River
House, Reese is stunned when Jack gleefully joins her
in her effort to trash the place. Jack and Reese enjoy
trashing Jack's Place. Jack declares that, for the
first time in days, he feels really alive. When Jack
insists that Reese help him clean the place up after
they have had their fill of destructive fun, Reese
reluctantly agrees. In the cleanup process, Jack
throws a picture of Jack and Tess into a trash bag.
Jack finally writes 'Bite Me" on the wall and puts a
frame on it, calling it 'great art.' Jack invites
Reese to 'sign' her masterpiece and Reese writes:
"Reese Mallory Black" beside the painting. Then Reese
and Jack begin to kiss.
At Caleb's Villa, as Caleb announces that he wants to
set Tess free, he bares his fangs. But, when Tess sees
the fangs, she screams - and Caleb apologizes for
frightening Tess. Tess apologizes for letting Caleb
see that she was afraid of Caleb's need to feed and
gently informs Caleb that she is convinced that they
were brought together so they could both have a full,
loving and normal life. However, Caleb tries to
convince Tess that feeding is a wonderful part of
expressing passion and declares that he believes that
he could show Tess how to enjoy that part of passion.
But Tess sadly informs Caleb that she can NOT let him
do that to her and, in time, Tess believes that Caleb
will no longer feel the urgent desire to feed. When
Caleb seems to be stunned by the thought that he IS
changing, Tess tries to comfort him and they hit the
sheets again. Later, as Tess sleeps, Caleb flashes
back to haunting memories of his early days with
Livvie.
When Rafe, Alison and Elizabeth return to Elizabeth's
hotel room, Elizabeth confesses that Joshua was the
one who sent Elizabeth to follow Rafe and Ian to the
spring. Elizabeth confides that she is now afraid
that, WHEN Joshua discovers that Elizabeth is no
longer a vampire, Joshua might be angry enough to kill
her! Rafe assures Elizabeth that he will think of
something to defeat Joshua when the time comes. After
Elizabeth leaves to take a bath, Rafe confides to
Alison that they do NOT know enough about the power of
the healing pool and that Rafe is now worried about
leaving Ian and Lucy alone at the spring.
As Ian plunges into the healing pool and fails to
return to the surface, Lucy prepares to go into the
water to rescue Ian. However, Ian finally surfaces but
stuns Lucy when he announces that the water had NO
effect on him. Ian confides that he did NOT see his
life flash before him and he STILL has his vampire
cravings. As Lucy tries to reassure Ian that they WILL
find a way to end the curse hanging over his life,
Kevin lurks in the shadows and watches Lucy and Ian
together.
-
Tuesday, March 18- At Stephen's Studio, as Ricky
practices, Joshua congratulates Ricky on his decision
to stay in the band. An Invisible Angel Casey listens
in as Ricky explains to Joshua that Ricky does NOT
want to join Joshua's little vampire club and Joshua
reassures Ricky that the feeling is mutual. As Casey
tries to whisper some angelic advice in Ricky's ear,
Angel Boss Ed suddenly shows up! When Casey declares
that she believes Ed has shown up because Casey has
botched her assignment and is being yanked back to the
Here-After, Ed surprises Casey by stating that there
IS a reason for everything and Casey WILL continue to
act as Ricky's Guardian Angel. But Ed reminds Casey
that her assignment STILL is to prevent Ricky from
joining the legions of the damned! When Casey wonders
WHY it is so important to rescue Ricky that Ricky
rates an angel escort when no one else in town seems
to rate one, Ed refuses to share and disappears. Casey
suddenly materializes in front of Ricky to try again
to talk Ricky out of his pig-headed decision!
When Joshua makes another angry call to Elizabeth and
leaves an angry message, reminding Elizabeth that her
silence is making him angry, Rafe, Alison and
Elizabeth listen in back in Elizabeth's room. Rafe and
Alison urge Elizabeth to leave town and visit Amanda's
favorite spa out of town but Elizabeth protests that
there is no place on the face of the earth where she
could hide without Joshua eventually finding her.
However, as Elizabeth decides to call Ian for some
reassurance, Rafe stops her and informs Alison and
Elizabeth that, since Rafe has already spoken to Ian,
Rafe knows for a fact that Ian has NOT yet entered the
healing spring. Elizabeth finally agrees to go to the
spa. But, when Elizabeth leaves to pack, Rafe reminds
Alison that, although they KNOW that Ian was NOT cured
by the healing spring, they probably can NOT really
trust Elizabeth with the truth. Later, Elizabeth
convinces Rafe and Alison that she will call a cab
from her room to take her to the train station and
urges them to go ahead and take care of their errands.
But, as soon as Rafe and Alison leave Elizabeth's
room, Elizabeth calls Joshua!
While Lucy and Ian discuss the disappointment of
learning that Ian can NOT be cured by the healing
spring, Lucy offers Ian some of Caleb's Magic Water in
the Blue Bottle, but Ian refuses to drink the water.
As Lucy reassures Ian that they WILL find a cure, they
are interrupted by the doorbell. When Lucy answers,
she discovers a package, which she tries to hide from
Ian. But Ian insists on seeing what Lucy is hiding.
Lucy discovers that the package is from Kevin, and the
note that Kevin enclosed reads: "Sorry the cure didn't
work. Thought your boyfriend might need a little
snack. Your Loving Husband." Inside the package is an
emergency packet of blood from the Hospital! Lucy is
angry that Kevin knows that Ian is NOT cured and Ian
argues that Kevin COULD use the information to hurt
Lucy. However, when Lucy insists that her friends all
understand her situation, Ian protests that he feels
like he is keeping Lucy prisoner. When Lucy still
insists that she MUST stay with Ian, Ian admits that
he could NOT survive his ordeal without Lucy. Lucy and
Ian begin kissing passionately and soon hit the
sheets.
When Joshua arrives at Elizabeth's room, he angrily
demands to know WHY Elizabeth has failed to report on
her excursion with Rafe and Ian to Caleb's apartment.
Elizabeth explains about the discovery of the hot
spring under Caleb's loft. Joshua shows Elizabeth a
picture of the hot spring and admits he knew about the
spring but did NOT know what the purpose of the spring
was. After Elizabeth explains the legend that the
spring brings back the dead, Joshua admits to
Elizabeth that he knows that Caleb gets his water from
the spring and adds something to it to mask the
symptoms. When Joshua notices a bottle of the water on
Elizabeth's desk, Joshua reminds Elizabeth that they
had decided it was more fun to do things the
old-fashioned way! Joshua appears stunned when
Elizabeth announces that Joshua should start drinking
the water because Elizabeth has decided she is in love
with Joshua and can no longer allow him to feed off of
her! But Joshua refuses to believe Elizabeth. However,
when Joshua grabs Elizabeth, Elizabeth warns her
partner that she WILL tell Caleb all about Joshua's
plans for Caleb's downfall - unless Joshua leaves her
alone! When Elizabeth orders Joshua to leave, Joshua
goes. But, outside, in the hallway, Joshua observes to
himself: "She is about as subtle as a truck!"
At the Recovery Room, as Rafe and Alison discuss
Elizabeth's cure, Rafe promises Alison that they WILL
make a family that Alison can be proud of - including
finding Alison's missing sister. But Alison announces
that she no longer wants to continue searching for her
sister. As Rafe and Alison puzzle over the possible
reasons WHY Elizabeth was cured by a plunge into the
healing pool but Ian was NOT cured, Rafe gets a sudden
hunch and rushes off to speak to Ian. As soon as Rafe
leaves, Alison calls her private detective and orders
him to discontinue the search for her sister!
At Lucy's Place, Lucy and Ian are interrupted in the
sack by the persistent doorbell. When they answer,
they discover Rafe, who announces that the reason why
Ian was NOT cured by the healing pool is because
Elizabeth HAS fed - but Ian has NOT fed!
-
Wednesday, March 19- At the Recovery Room, Alison
spots Jack working on his campaign to stay permanently
plastered and argues with Jack about the way he
appears to be determined to destroy his entire life,
including Jack's unfortunate choice to hang out with
Bat-Girl, Reese! When Jack announces that he has no
intention of listening to Alison, Reese arrives and
also orders Alison to quit trying to run Jack's life
for him. When Chris arrives, Jack leaves Reese and
Alison arguing and offers to buy a drink for his
brother. When Chris realizes that Jack is in a bad way
and asks the cause of his brother's gloomy mood, Jack
admits that Jack has already split up with true love,
Tess. Jack goes on to explain to Chris how Caleb
created Tess by pulling all of the goodness that was
in Livvie out and that Tess WAS that good part that
Caleb separated from Livvie. And, like Livvie, Jack
explains, Tess was ALSO drawn to Caleb and Tess and
Caleb are now together. When Chris reminds Jack that
Tess really COULD heal, Jack replies: "Don't even try
to figure it out, all right? It is NOT worth it!" Jack
goes on to tell Chris that Jack used to believe that
Chris was a jerk because Chris only thought of
himself. But Jack declares that he now agrees with
Chris' philosophy of life ~ that all anyone CAN do is
take care of yourself! While Jack is talking to Chris,
Alison continues arguing with Reese and again warns
the Bat-Girl to stay away from Jack. When Reese
guesses that Alison is afraid that Reese will bite
Jack, Reese lies that Reese has ALREADY bitten Jack ~
because that is what JACK wanted! When Alison hotly
informs Reese that Alison KNOWS that Reese is lying,
Reese admits that she has not bitten Jack ~ yet! But
Alison begins to describe for Reese how disgusted and
tortured Jack was when he was bitten before and begs
Reese to leave Jack alone. When Reese argues that Rafe
has been feeding Alison a pack of lies about life on
the dark side, Alison blasts Reese for acting as if
feeding off of other people was some kind of hobby and
Alison ends by calling Reese a nasty little monster!
Later, Alison overhears Jack tell Chris that Jack
feels like he ended up a sap when he tried to play the
hero and Alison interrupts to tell Jack that she never
believed he was a sap but, instead, Alison considers
Jack to be her best friend! Chris admits to being
shocked that Livvie is Tess and Tess is Livvie and
that Caleb is alive and Chris announces that he
believes he should move to Guam! Jack urges Chris not
to move too far and Chris leaves, after admonishing
Jack to "Keep your good news to yourself the next
time!" After Chris leaves, Jack informs Alison that he
does NOT want to resume their argument but Alison
tells Jack that she loves Jack, that he is her best
friend and she just wants him to be safe. Jack
reassures Alison that he can handle Reese and gives
Alison a hug. But Reese casts jealous eyes at Alison
and Jack hugging and leaps to the conclusion that
Alison is telling Jack what a monster Reese is. Reese
vows that soon, Reese will teach Alison what it like
to be 'one of us!'
While looking for something at the Villa, Tess comes
across Caleb's ring. When Caleb realizes that Tess has
the ring, Tess admits that she believes Caleb should
throw the ring away because it has dark powers. Caleb
tells Tess that he will put it away and Tess will
never have to see the ring again. However, when Tess
persists in her belief that Caleb MUST throw the ring
away, Caleb explains that the ring is part of his
heritage and that he can NOT just erase his past. But
Tess argues that she believed that Caleb DID want to
erase his past! Tess asks if Caleb is mad at her
because she was frightened by Caleb's fangs and Caleb
reassures her that he was never angry. However, Tess
tells Caleb that he does NOT need to be afraid that he
will NOT be able to change and that he does NOT need
his fangs to make love and he does NOT need that ring!
But Caleb replies that she can't just throw the ring
away. After Tess leaves, Caleb puts the ring on his
finger and soon drifts off to sleep. As he sleeps,
Caleb dreams that he sees Livvie, warning Caleb NOT to
let Tess change him! Livvie reminds Caleb that Livvie
loves Caleb the way he is and that Caleb will NOT need
to change in order to 'earn' Livvie's love! Caleb
argues that Tess saved him. When Livvie invites Caleb
to bite her and Caleb begins to oblige, Livvie is
shocked when she realizes that Caleb's fangs are gone!
When Caleb starts awake, he is surprised to find Tess
beside him. Making the excuse that he suddenly got an
inspiration for a new song, Caleb rushes off to the
Studio to work on the song.
At Lucy's Place, Ian admits to Lucy and Rafe that he
is repulsed by the idea that he will need to feed in
order to be healed by a dip in the healing pool. When
Lucy argues that she is trying to save Ian's life, Ian
insists that he is determined NOT to become just like
Caleb! Lucy proclaims her love for Ian and reassures
Ian that they WILL find a way out of Ian's situation.
Rafe suggests that there may be yet another way for
Ian to be healed. Lucy announces that she is going for
a walk to clear her head and see if she can come up
with a new plan to rescue Ian. After Lucy leaves, Rafe
tells Ian that he admires Ian's determination to
resist going over to the dark side and promises that
they WILL find a way out for Ian. But Ian points out
that, since the healing pool heals those who HAVE fed
~ even Caleb COULD be healed! Ian asks Rafe to get rid
of Ian permanently if all the other vampires end up
being cured ~ except Ian! Rafe argues that loving Lucy
will help Ian save himself, but Ian argues that,
eventually, Ian WILL feed and they can NOT allow the
whole destructive cycle of Caleb's victims to begin
all over again! Rafe promises that, if worst comes to
worst, Rafe WILL do whatever is necessary to protect
the world from a new invasion of Caleb's victims! At
the same time, Lucy ends up at the Blood Bank at the
Hospital and begins stealing bags of blood, stuffing
them into her purse. However, as Lucy rushes to leave
the Hospital, she runs into Kevin, who asks: "Picking
up some take-out for your boyfriend?"

MARCH 20 and 21- Due to extended coverage of the war
in Iraq, today's episode was not shown. There will be
no lost episodes -- today's installment will be shown.
-
Monday, March 24- “Ah…just relax, Elizabeth,”
she nervously tells herself as she glances at a
magazine while lying in bed, “you’re not a vampire
anymore.” She gets out of bed to check herself in the
mirror. “No fangs,” she reassures herself, “they’re
not coming back…ever.” Now smiling, she gets back into
bed and turns off the light. From the other side of
her bed, a man’s hand reaches up and turns another
light on. “Oh God!” Elizabeth exclaims as she realizes
Joshua is in bed with her. “I hope you’re hungry, my
dear…because I’m starving,” he says as he reveals his
fangs.
Ian recalls his conversation with Rafe and the doomed
decision he’d made. “Dear God! How do I do this?” he
asks himself, “how do I say goodbye?” He starts
writing a letter. “Dear Lucy…if there’s one thing in
this life that I was sure of…it is that I would never
love again. You say it drives you nuts sometimes
because I always seem to be right…but this was one
time that you proved me wrong…and I haven’t been so
glad to be wrong about anything.”
“This has nothing to do with you,” Lucy insists as
Kevin blocks her exit from the hospital blood bank,
“let me go.” “I don’t think so, Lucy,” he insists
before pushing her back inside and closing the door.
She reminds him she still has a restraining order
against him. He admits she’s right…maybe she should
call the police…but then she’d have to explain why
she’s stealing blood from the hospital. “You know
why…don’t you have any sympathy or any compassion at
all?” she asks. “Compassion,” he counters and then
starts to laugh, “you are kidding…right? Where was
your compassion?” “I did try to help you,” she
replies. “Yeah…right into a psych ward,” he reminds
her. “Because…you were sick,” she charges, “you are
still sick.” “And this isn’t?” he asks, “Lucy, you’re
raiding a blood bank because your vampire lover needs
to feed.” “If you don’t stay away from me…you’re going
to make an unplanned donation to this blood bank,”
Lucy warns. “Now…that’s the Lucy I know and
love…feisty…feisty as ever,” Kevin tells her,
“except…if I were you…you just might want to make nice
with dear old Doc.” “And why would I want to do that?”
she asks. “Oh…I don’t know…maybe because if this
little…caper of yours got out…then all of Port Charles
would know that the good Dr. Thornhart is really a
blood-sucking monster…and the girls…oh…I don’t even
want to imagine how upset they’d be if they knew Mommy
was dating Dracula.” “You bastard!” Lucy hisses. “You
really are beautiful when you’re angry,” he replies
before grabbing the shopping bag out of her hand.
“What are you doing, Doc? He needs that blood,” Lucy
screams. “I know…I’m just going to make sure he has
enough,” Kevin explains. He puts more blood packets
into her shopping bag.
“Something’s missing,” Caleb admits as he tries to
work on a song at the studio. Suddenly, an eerie light
illuminates him. He turns to see Tess. “You’ll find
it, Caleb…I know you will,” she softly tells him.
“Tess,” he calls out to her. “Maybe I can help you fix
it, my love,” Livvie appears on the other side of him
and touches his face. A stunned Caleb looks from one
to the other.
“What are you doing?” Lucy asks. “What does it look
like,” Kevin answers, “Ian’s a big guy…I just wanted
to make sure he has enough to quell his thirst…or
whatever it is.” “That’s enough,” Lucy says as she
reaches for the bag. “Your gratitude is overwhelming,”
Kevin replies. “You really…are enjoying this, aren’t
you?” she asks. “Oh yeah…immensely,” he tells her,
“the irony is staggering. You leave crazy Kevin to
take up with a vampire. An opera should be written
about this.” “So…how are you going to make me pay
then…for this…transgression?” she asks. “I think
you’re already paying for it,” he admits. “I’m sure
with more installments to come, huh?” Lucy guesses,
“please…give me my bag!” “You know…lucky for you I was
here,” he reminds her, “that I’m the one who came in.
If it was somebody else…you and your boyfriend would
be in big trouble right now.” “You were such…a good
man,” Lucy laments as she regains possession of the
shopping bag, “and I loved you with all my heart.”
“I’m still that man,” he insists. “No,” she denies it,
“you’ve become a selfish son of a bitch.” “You have a
nice evening,” he returns, “and tell Ian I said, ‘bon
appetit.’ And don’t worry, Lucy. Your secret’s safe
with me.” A trembling Lucy clutches the bag and opens
the door to leave. After she leaves, Kevin pulls out
his cell phone and makes a call. “This is Dr.
Collins…I’m on my way,” he says.
“What’s wrong, Caleb…you look troubled?” Tess asks the
vampire. “It’s nothing I can’t fix. Right, Baby?”
Livvie says. “Tess…oh Tess…I know how much you love
me,” Caleb tells her. “More than anything,” she
assures him. “And our love is so pure,” he admits,
“and so beautiful…it’s like nothing I’ve ever felt
before.” Tess asks him why his eyes look so sad.
“Cause it’s like the song,” he attempts to explain,
“it’s not right…nothing seems right.” “You need some
time, Caleb…you need me to help you to remember who
you really are,” Tess insists. “Don’t listen to her,”
Livvie says, “everything about the two of you is
wrong.” “That’s not true,” Tess tells him with tears
streaming down her cheeks, “what we have is so
special.” “No…what you have is a fantasy,” Livvie
challenges, “her fantasy. All she wants is to turn you
into something you’re not. She doesn’t love you for
who you are…what you are…a strong and passionate,
powerful man who knows what he wants and stops at
nothing until he gets it. I mean…that is the man I
love. The real man.” Caleb strokes her hair. “I love
you, Olivia…but as I can recall…you could never quite
decide whether you wanted to love me…or destroy me,”
Caleb tells her. “Caleb…my love…you have had so much
hurt,” Tess says as she takes his hand, “and pain…and
betrayal…but our love…what you and I have together…is
what heals you. It’s what’s right.” “No,” Caleb shakes
his head, “no…it’s not right. It’s not right with
either one of you! It’s like the song…there’s
something missing.” Livvie insists she’s what’s
missing. Tess counters that Livvie is evil and just
wants to hold him back. Livvie tells him she just
wants to love him for who he really is. “No,” he yells
and puts his hands over his face, “I don’t want either
of you! Just go away…both of you.” Both women
disappear. Caleb takes several deep breaths before
attempting to work on his music again. As he attempts
to play, he still can’t lose the women’s voices.
“Caleb…don’t turn away,” Tess begs. “Caleb…come back
to me,” Livvie pleads. Over and over they echo in his
head, drowning out the music. A furious Caleb pushes
over the synthesizer.
“You stay away from me…just stay away from me,”
Elizabeth orders as she moves fearfully away from the
bed. “Why? What are you going to do? Are you going to
tell Caleb?” he asks as he moves closer to her. “Yes…I
will,” she insists. He admits he’s been giving it some
thought, and she’s not going to tell anybody anything.
“Would you leave me alone,” she yells, “why don’t you
go feed on somebody else.” “I don’t find anybody else
tasty…only you,” he insists as he grabs her by the
neck and pushes her back against the wall. She begs
him to leave her alone again. “Aren’t you hungry? I
know I am,” he explains. He wants her to do what comes
naturally to them…feeding. “No…I can’t!” she admits.
“What do you mean…you can’t? Why can’t you?” he
questions as he puts his hand on her throat.
“Because…I’m not a vampire any more,” she admits.
“You’re not a vampire any more…so it’s true,” Joshua
replies. “You knew?” she asks. “Yes…I knew…as soon as
you told me about the healing pool,” he explains, “why
didn’t you tell me you took a little dip?” “Please…let
me go,” she begs. “What other secrets…are you keeping
from me?” he asks and tightens his grip on her neck.
“Nothing…I’ve told you everything,” she insists. “What
other secrets? You’re a liar,” he insists as he
applies more pressure to her neck. “Rafe and Lucy…they
have a…plan,” Elizabeth coughs. He tells her that’s
better. He wants to know what that plan is. “They want
to wipe out all the vampires…they’re going to
throw…each and every one…into the healing pool,”
Elizabeth says, “they won’t stop…until they’re
cured…everyone.” “Really…well,” Joshua replies,
“that’s very interesting…very interesting.”
“I hope you can understand why I’ve done this…and how
hard it was for me…knowing I will leave you and
Danny…the two most precious things in my life. God
knows…if there had been any other way,” Ian continues
to write. He stops as Lucy enters the house. “So…did
you miss me?” she smiles. “I always miss you,” he
admits before noticing the shopping bag, “what are you
doing?” She tells him she’s been doing a little
shopping. “What did you get me…a new cape?” he asks.
“Yeah,” she replies without thinking, “very funny…it
wasn’t that kind of shopping.” “What’s in the bag,
Lucy?” he asks. “Something for you…something for us,”
she admits, “something you’re not going to like.”
“It’s blood, isn’t it? I can smell it,” he tells her.
“Please do not get angry with me,” she begs. “Where
did you get it?” he asks. She admits it came from the
blood bank at the hospital. “Tell me you didn’t do
it…please tell me you didn’t do it,” he insists. “I
did do it…I did,” she admits. She thinks the hot
springs could cure him if he drinks the blood. Ian
reminds her they don’t know that for certain, but Lucy
insists it’s the best chance they have. “What are you
asking me?” he questions, “are you asking me to drink
blood?” She admits this could be one of the hardest
things he’ll ever have to do, but he has to do it if
he wants a future…and to get his life back. “Danny
needs his father back. You need to be Danny’s father
again,” she coaxes. “Danny,” Ian whispers. “He needs
you,” Lucy reminds him, “and I know you need him.” “I
want my life back,” Ian decides. Lucy pulls a
container of blood from the shopping bag. “Please…we
have to take this chance,” she begs, “it’s the only
one we’ve got.”
“Nobody’s here…you’re just imagining things…right?”
Caleb attempts to calm himself, “time to work. You’ve
got to work. Why can’t I get this? It’s right
there…it’s right in front of you. The answer’s right
in front of you.” He starts playing the notes from
“Naked Eyes.” The eerie light reappears. He turns to
see Livvie staring at him. “No,” he insists, “it isn’t
happening.” Tess is now staring at him from the other
side as he continues to play. He speeds up the song.
Tess and Livvie move closer to each other until their
fingertips touch. “That’s it! That’s the answer!”
Caleb exclaims. He turns around to see Tess enter the
room. “Caleb…what’s going on?” she asks with a smile.
“Tess…I’m glad you’re here,” he says as he touches her
face, “come with me.” She wants to know where they’re
going. “You’re not going to believe it,” he reveals,
“finally…everything is clear. I know what I have to do
now.” Smiling, Tess allows him to lead her out the
door.
“Rafe and Lucy have a plan to destroy the
vampires…they’re going to cure them,” Joshua recounts
as he releases his hold on Elizabeth. “Please…don’t
tell anyone,” Elizabeth whispers. “Oh please…you spill
the beans so easily,” he berates her, “you would spoon
feed your babies to the wolves just to save your tired
old hide.” “You were choking me,” she defends herself.
“There’s just one thing I don’t understand,
Elizabeth,” he continues, “why are you so happy to
give it all up?” He reminds her that she’s given up
power…and eternity. “Don’t you miss it?” he asks.
Elizabeth insists that being a vampire was always his
thing. He wanted it…she didn’t. She insists she’s not
going back to it…no matter what. “Then there’s only
one thing I can do with you, dear,” he says
threateningly, “is to kill you.” A terrified Elizabeth
screams and backs away. She promises she won’t tell
anybody anything. He tells her to relax…it was just a
little vampire humor. “I’m not going to kill you…not
today anyway,” Joshua says before pulling a ticket
from his coat, “here.” He explains it’s an airline
ticket to Capri. “You remember Capri…it’s our special
little place,” he reminds her, “go there. Stay there.
Behave yourself. Friends of mine will keep an eye on
you. And if you should misbehave…Alison is here. I
shall pay her a visit.” “You promise me…you can’t do
anything to Alison. Leave her alone,” Elizabeth tells
him. “Your maternal instinct is so touching,” he mocks
her, “why so sad? Hmm…haven’t I given you what you
want?” He reminds her he’s letting her live, even if
it is only as a mortal. Then he grabs her hand and
licks it with his tongue. “Thank you for the tip,” he
tells her. He grabs his coat and starts to leave.
“What are you going to do now?” she anxiously asks. He
says he hasn’t quite made up his mind yet. “But, when
I do…you’ll be the last to know,” he declares. With a
scowl on his face, he walks out the door.
Ian solemnly picks up the packets of blood and starts
toward the rear of the house. Lucy asks him if there’s
anything she can do. He admits he has to do this
alone. She asks if he’s sure but he insists he is.
“Ian,” she calls to him, “you’re doing the right
thing, you know.” She gives him a hug. She then
advises him to try to remember why he has to do it.
After he leaves the room, Lucy breaks down and cries.
“I have missed you so much…just bunches and bunches,”
Kevin tells Christina, “but now you’re here…and I’m so
glad. You know why?” “Why?” the little girl asks.
“Because we’re going to surprise Mommy,” he replies.
“How?” Christina asks. “How? Oh…you don’t worry about
that,” Kevin says as he places her in his lap, “you
just let me take care of everything…because Daddy has
it all figured out.” He smiles wickedly.
“What’s going on, Caleb? Where are you taking me?”
Tess asks as they stroll through the woods. “Don’t you
recognize it?” he inquires. “Oh my God! This is where
it all happened,” she realizes, “it’s where you
separated me from Livvie…it’s where you created me.”
“This is where it all started, Tess,” he admits. “Why
are we here?” she then inquires. “I made a terrible
mistake…and now I have to correct it,” he explains.
-
Tuesday, March 25- “Hey,” Rafe calls as he
greets Alison at the bar in the Recovery Room, “you’re
still here.” She tells him she wanted to talk to him,
but she thought he said he’d be right back. He admits
that things didn’t go so well with Ian. She asks him
“what things,” and reminds him he didn’t tell her
anything before leaving before. They move over to a
table and sit down. “See…I think I’ve figured out why
the hot spring didn’t cure Ian the same way it did
your mother,” he starts to explain. “Good…good!” an
excited Alison exclaims. “Wait a minute…don’t get too
excited,” he continues, “the reason is…Ian has to
feed…and since that’s obviously not a brilliant option
for him…” “Wait…so then he’d be stuck…being a
vampire?” Alison questions. “Yeah…and see…that’s not
the worst of it,” Rafe sadly admits, “because…he’s not
going to be able to fight his instincts forever.
Pretty soon…he won’t have a choice…and he’s just going
to give in to them.” “Wait…I don’t understand…so if we
cure all the other vampires…then…” Alison starts.
“This whole nightmare is going to start all over
again,” Rafe finishes. “So…what’s the answer?” she
asks. “Ian made me promise him that I would slay the
last standing vampire in Port Charles,” he admits
sadly, “you know…it’s funny. I’ve spent so much of my
life alone…I wouldn’t even know what it’s like to have
a best friend…but I figured out today…that I’ve got
one…I’ve had him for awhile now…and I just might have
to…drive a stake through his heart.”
“I pray you’re right, Lucy,” Ian says aloud to himself
as he closes the door to the bathroom while holding
the packages of blood, “I pray this works.” Meanwhile,
Lucy decides to call and check on her daughter. She’s
stunned when she’s told that Christina’s father picked
her up. “What do you mean…her dad picked her up?” Lucy
asks, “it’s not Scott’s night, tonight. He knows…” She
panics when she realizes that Kevin…not Scott…has
picked up the little girl. She hangs up the phone and
yells for Ian. Thornhart has emptied a couple of the
blood packets, tossing the empty containers into the
bathtub. “Leave me alone,” he insists when she knocks
on the bathroom door. “Leave me…Lucy!” he yells. Not
knowing what else to do, Lucy quickly grabs her jacket
and prepares to go over to the lighthouse.
Kevin is enjoying playtime with Christina. “This is
fun, Daddy,” the little girl tells him. “Oh…just wait
until your mommy gets here,” Kevin replies, “that’s
when the fun really begins.”
“What mistake?” Tess asks. “I was wrong,” Caleb
admits, “to try to create you from Livvie…to pull you
two apart the way I did.” “You don’t want me anymore,”
Tess says sadly. “Oh no! Oh…I do want you…but I want
you the way you were before,” he reveals, “the way you
were when we first met. I want Olivia. I want her to
be whole again.” “No…I’m sorry…that’s not going to
happen,” she insists, “it’s never going to happen…not
ever.” “Please try and understand,” Caleb insists.
“No…I don’t understand. You think you can just snap
your fingers and have everything go back to the way it
was?” she asks, “that’s impossible. What’s done is
done. I’m my own person now.” “I know you are,” he
admits. “And I’m a good person. People love me. You
loved me…at least, I thought you did,” she says. “I do
love you,” he insists, “you gave me back the best part
of me.” “I restored your soul…but you’re scared,” she
guesses, “you…you turned your back on the dark
side…and that frightens you.” “Tess,” he interrupts.
She goes into his arms, telling him she doesn’t blame
him for being afraid. “You’re looking at the world
with completely different eyes now,” she explains,
“and that must be so terrifying…but don’t worry. I’m
here…and we’ll get through this together.” She insists
he’ll accept the man he’s become…and embrace him. “You
don’t have to erase me…Caleb, please,” she continues.
“Tess…Tess…stop!” he yells, “listen to me. I do love
you…I love you. It’s because of that love…it’s because
of what you’ve taught me…and what you’ve shown me
about myself that I have to make this decision.” Tess
shakes her head. “What decision?” she asks. “I tried
to change Livvie into something that she wasn’t,” he
confesses, “and then she tried to destroy me. You’re
trying to change me into something I’m not…something
that I don’t want. Her soul…was this dark thing…and
yours is pure light…but it’s the two of you together
that I am in love with.” “You do want to erase me,”
she sadly guesses, “I’m not good enough for you.”
“That’s not true,” he insists, “I’m trying to restore
you…to your best self. That’s what you did for me.”
“But I thought…I thought…I hoped…” a hurt Tess turns
away. “I never meant to hurt you, Tess,” he admits, “I
know that seems hard to believe right now. All I’m
trying to do is…do what’s best for all of us.” “What’s
best for all of us,” a tearful Tess angrily faces him,
“if you would have left us alone in the first place.
Why did you have to do this to us? Why…why couldn’t
you just leave us alone?”
“Lucy,” Ian calls as he walks into the living room,
“look at that…I probably scared her off. Just as
well…I’ve got to do this alone.” He walks out the
door. Later, he appears at the hot spring. “All
right…this is it…I’ve done all I can,” he says as he
steps out near the edge of the healing pool, “so
please, God. Let this cure work for me. I want to be a
good father to my son. I want to have a life with
Lucy.” He recalls the wonderful time he spent with
them. “Whatever happens…make sure they know I love
them.” He turns on the miniature recorder with the
notes from “Naked Eyes” and sets it down near the edge
of the water. Then he steps into the healing pool. Ian
moves deeper into the hot springs as the notes of
“Naked Eyes” continue to play over and over. Finally,
he goes under the water and seems to disappear.
Lucy opens the door at the lighthouse and sees
Christina sitting alone in the living room. “Hello,
Sweet Pea,” she greets her daughter. “Hi, Mommy,”
Christina replies. “How are you? Are you OK?” Lucy
asks before hugging the girl. “Hey…look who’s
here…just in time,” Kevin says as he carries a tray of
snacks into the room, “hot cocoa?” “Uh…no thank you,”
Lucy replies as she takes Christina by the hand,
“uh…no hot cocoa for us…we’re just going to
be…leaving.” “No,” Kevin insists and closes the front
door, “you just got here.” “What do you want?” Lucy
asks softly. Kevin tells Christina to go finish the
surprise they made for mommy. “OK, Daddy. Wait ‘til
you see, Mommy,” Christina tells her before leaving
the room. “How dare you! How dare you involve
Christina in all of this,” Lucy hisses. “In what?” he
asks, nonchalantly. “OK…OK…just tell me what it is you
want?” What sick game are you playing now?” she
inquires. “A game…a game…a game,” he rambles,
pretending not to understand what she’s implying,
“oh…today…well…I guess we could call it truth or
consequences.” “Truth…in what?” Lucy asks. “Well…I
know the truth about Ian being a vampire. So, Lucy…I
guess it’s time for you to suffer the consequences,”
he says. She admits she knew he would try something.
She just wondered what took him so long. He admits
that a good plan takes time. She then tells him if he
thinks she’s going to stand and listen to his
psychotic ramblings, he’s crazier than she thought.
She’s getting Christina now…and they’re leaving.
“No…you’re not going anywhere, Lucy,” he warns, “if
you want Christina back…you’ll leave your feet right
where they are…and listen to what I have to say.” “You
know…no court in the world would ever give you
custody,” Lucy reminds him. “Who says I’d ask for it?”
he responds, “but that’s not to say that you wouldn’t
lose her.” “What the hell are you talking about?” she
then asks. “Do I have to paint you a picture?
Self-proclaimed slayer,” he explains, “mistress to a
real live vampire. I don’t know a court in the world
that wouldn’t find you unfit.” “Why are you doing
this?” she asks in disbelief. “You’re really going to
ask me that,” he replies, “I guess I have to take a
trip down memory lane…or can I just sum it up by
reminding you how you turned your back on me…how you
humiliated me.” “You did that to yourself,” she tells
him. “I lost everything, Lucy…my wife…my kids…my job,”
he insists. “That is not…my fault,” she tells him.
“It’s precisely…your fault! You did this to me,
Lucy…and now you’re going to help me put it all back
together again,” he warns, “and I refuse to be the one
who keeps losing time and time again.” “Well…I
refuse…to stand here and listen to your stupid…empty
threats,” she challenges. “Empty threats?” he
counters. Kevin steps over to the coffee table and
opens a box. Inside is a miniature tape recorder. He
tells her to listen as he turns it on. Lucy is aghast
to discover that Kevin had recorded some conversations
she and Rafe had regarding Caleb. “That’s enough…turn
it off,” she orders. “I wonder what a judge would
think about a mother who believes in vampires and
magic pools that heal them?” he asks. “I could explain
all that,” she replies. “I’m sure you could…but how do
you explain these?” he challenges as he shows her
photos of her stealing blood from the hospital blood
bank. Lucy is stunned. “Yeah, that’s a little bit
tougher,” he admits, “let’s face it…you got caught
red-handed…no pun intended…stealing blood from the
hospital. Don’t look so glum…you don’t have to lose
Christina. There is another option.” She wants to know
what other option he’s proposing. “What…is it that you
want?” she demands to know as tears fill her eyes.
“Well…it’s simple, really,” he answers, “you come back
to me as my wife…and I mean my wife in every sense of
the word…or I will make sure that you never get near
your children again.”
“There’s got to be some other way to do this, then,”
Alison insists. Rafe shrugs. “I wish that I could find
it,” he admits. She thinks it’s horrible enough to
think about losing Ian…he’s like a part of their
family…but to think he might have to be the one to
destroy him. “No…this has got to be killing you,” she
adds. “I don’t know,” he admits, “the slayer in me
knows that this is the only way to end this…once and
for all.” “What about the other part of you…the friend
part?” she then asks. “I’m not even sure if I can do
it,” he reveals, “I mean…I was trained to fight
evil…and Ian…despite what he’s become…” “He’s still a
really good person,” she intercedes. “But…I promised
him,” Rafe tells her, “he’s counting on me to come
through for him. I promised him…that I would do it…and
that’s the only thing that’s keeping him going right
now…and…that’s so stupid! I’m feeling sorry for
myself…and he’s the one going through hell.” “Has
anybody even told Lucy?” Alison questions. “Nope,” he
admits. “Oh Rafe…this will destroy her,” she tells
him. “Yes,” a frustrated Rafe admits, “damn it…damn
it…damn it…DAMN IT! I mean…I finally have an answer.
I’ve finally figured out a way I can get rid of these
blood-sucking monsters…and I can’t save the one who
still has a soul!”
“How…how can you do this,” Tess protests, “Caleb…you
created a person with a separate identity…with a
heart…and feelings…and thoughts. You can’t change your
mind as if I were nothing…it’s too late…especially
after everything we’ve been through…after you’ve held
me in your arms and you…you’ve made love to me. How
can you look me in the eyes and tell me I’m a
mistake?” Caleb appears visibly shaken and moved by
her appeal. “You are not a mistake,” he assures her,
“it was my mistake to try to divide you. You were
wonderful when you were whole…and that’s what I want
to get back again.” “What you want…is to make me
disappear,” she says and backs away from him. “No…what
I want is for you to let Livvie back in,” he replies,
“because I love you both…both parts of you…and they
belong together.” “I can’t help you,” Tess tells him.
“I need you to help me…because I can’t reach Livvie
anymore,” he reveals as tears roll down his face, “the
Livvie that I first met…and I would give anything to
have her back…anything.” Suddenly, there’s a clap of
thunder and a blinding white light appears. Tess
disappears into it. The light goes away but quickly
returns. While an awed Caleb watches, Livvie and Tess
meet…and merge…into one person. “Tess,” Caleb calls to
the unconscious woman as he works to revive her.
“Caleb,” she calls. He’s elated to realize he has his
Olivia back. “You did it, my love,” she explains, “all
you had to do was to want all of me. You just had to
ask…and not for the Livvie you stripped of all
conscience…and not for your Olivia…and not for Tess
who wouldn’t want you to be who you are. You had to
ask for the real person…and the good and the bad…the
selfish…the whole person.” “Olivia,” he whispers, “I
love you…I finally have you back.” He kisses her
passionately.
“It’s time to come home, Lucy,” Kevin explains, “it’s
time to leave Ian…and come home and be a wife to your
husband.” “Never,” she insists. “OK,” he shrugs, “say
goodbye to motherhood. It was fun while it lasted,
though…wasn’t it?” “You really are a heartless
son-of-a-bitch,” she cries. “Hey…I brought Christina
back to you,” he reminds her, “I can take her away
again…but on the bright side…it’s your call.” Lucy is
horrified by his threat, but before she can respond,
Christina returns to the room with the picture she’s
drawn for Lucy. Lucy looks at the drawing…a heart with
a man, a woman, and a child inside. “Daddy says we’re
going to be a family again,” Christina tells her
mother. “You bet we are,” Kevin reassures the little
girl. “Did you tell Ian yet, Mommy? Did you?”
Christina asks a distraught Lucy.
“Do you want to…maybe get out of here?” Alison asks a
deeply troubled Rafe, “Rafe.” “Huh?” he asks. “What is
it? Is there something else wrong?” she questions. “I
don’t know,” he admits, “I don’t know…something’s
off…something feels different.” “What is it?” she
wonders. “Uh…wait here…OK,” he says suddenly and runs
out the door. “Wait,” Alison calls after him and
throws some money on the table. She rushes out the
door to catch up with him. “Rafe,” she calls but turns
to see Reese standing there. “Going somewhere,
Goldilocks?” Reese asks and then reveals her fangs.
“Reese,” Alison says as the vampire moves
threateningly towards her.
“I finally have you,” Caleb tells Livvie, “the other
half of my soul. Together…nothing can stop us.” The
wooded area where they’re standing becomes eerily
flooded with red light as he holds her.
-
Wednesday, March 26- “You should have worried a
little less about Jack…and a bit more for your own
safety,” Reese warns Alison as she confronts her
outside the Recovery Room. “You need to stay away from
me,” Alison responds softly. “Oh…what are you going to
do…whine and cry?” Reese menacingly challenges. “I’m
warning you…” Alison starts. “As soon as I sink my
teeth into that scrawny little neck…” Reese says as
she steps closer. Alison picks up a chair and pitches
it at Reese, knocking the vampire down. Then Alison
makes a quick escape. “Round one to the princess,”
Reese declares, “but the fun is just beginning.” She
starts out in pursuit of Alison.
“Hello,” Rafe calls as he steps out onto the platform
of the healing pool, “someone’s here…I can feel it.
Something’s changed.” He notices the miniature player
and picks it up. Realizing the battery is dead, he
concludes that Ian must have gone into the healing
pool. “Ian,” he yells, “come on man…Ian.” Ian soon
emerges from the water. “What the hell are you doing?”
Rafe yells. Ian explains that he thought he could be
cured after drinking human blood. He had played that
stupid song and jumped into the spring for a cure.
Frustrated, he admits he’s still a vampire.
“She finally fell asleep,” Lucy tells Kevin as she
walks back into the living room after putting
Christina to bed. “Good,” is his only response. “How
can you do this?” she asks, “how can you be so cruel?”
“Cruel,” he challenges and holds out Christina’s
drawing for her to see, “did you see the smile on
Christina’s face?” “Because you lied to her,” Lucy
accuses, “and told her we were going to be a family
again.” “I love her, Lucy,” he insists. “Don’t say
that! Don’t say that!” she angrily warns. “Don’t tell
me how I feel,” he responds, “and I got her mama home
to stay, didn’t I?” “Home…home to what?” a now furious
Lucy asks. “Our family,” he answers and laughs,
“nothing has to change.” “Everything has changed…we
are not a family,” she insists, “this is not a home.
This has become some sort of prison.” “Well…you’re the
one making it a prison, Lucy,” he counters, “look
around. Look! This is your home…and I am your
husband.” “Why would you even want me…when I cannot
stand the sight of you,” Lucy hisses.
“Look at me, Caleb,” Livvie tells him, “look into my
eyes and…never go away.” “Never again,” he promises.
“Do you know how it makes me feel when you look at me
that way?” she asks. “Warm…inviting…inviting me in,”
he says and kisses her neck. “Please…don’t ever let us
part again,” she insists. The red light continues to
illuminate them as he gently takes her hand. “From
this moment on,” he vows, “beyond all powers of life
and death…all forces seen and unseen…my love…I take
you.” “And I…take you, my love…my darkest
heart…forever,” Livvie vows. “You remembered the
words,” he marvels. “I remember, my love,” she says.
“Bound through the ages to each other,” he continues.
“Of our own free will,” she adds. “In a compact
eternal,” he pledges, “keepers and guardians of each
other’s flesh and bone.” “Ever on,” she follows. “Ever
on,” he repeats, “from now and all time…we are…”
“Complete,” she finishes with a smile. They disappear
from the woods and reappear at the villa. “At last…it
begins,” he tells Livvie. Now dressed in a black
evening gown, Livvie looks around. “Here…where I gave
my body and…blood to you,” she responds. “Here in our
private world…I want to devour you,” he says before
kissing her ardently.
“That’s what we thought…right,” a water-soaked Ian
storms out of the pool while Rafe cautions him to take
it easy, “drink some blood…go for a swim…and
everything’s back to normal.” “Come on…let’s go,” Rafe
urges him. “And we really believed this could happen,”
Ian says. “Maybe…maybe we just need to be doing
something different,” Rafe suggests. “No…I can’t just
drink blood…I have to feed on someone!” Ian yells.
“Yes…yes,” Rafe agrees. “Well…I’m never going to do
that!” Ian insists. “All right…fine…OK,” Rafe
concedes, “so let’s…do what we have to do…all
right…what we know we can do.” “We’ll bring Caleb…and
all his other friends…and let them go for a swim…and
they’ll be healed,” Ian replies. “Right…I think we’ll
have to do that now…I think…somehow…his power is
growing stronger,” Rafe admits. “Well…we can…we
will…and when it’s all said and done…” Ian starts.
“No…don’t say it!” Rafe shakes his head, “I know what
you want me to do.” “As far as we both know…I’m the
only vampire that didn’t feed…and that means I can’t
be cured,” he reminds the slayer. “I know…but…” Rafe
starts. “You can…and you will!” Ian yells, “you have a
job to do, Slayer. You promised me! When it’s time…you
will kill the last vampire standing!”
“Now you can’t stand the sight of me,” Kevin realizes.
She asks him what he expects…he kidnapped her…he tried
to kill her…and now he’s doing this. “And here you
are…in my living room,” he replies. “Because you’re
holding…Christina hostage,” she accuses. “You know I’d
never hurt her,” he insists, before changing his
thought pattern again, “I just think you’re using
Christina as a way to get back into my life.” Lucy is
stunned. “Oh my God!” she exclaims, “you are crazier
than I thought!” “Look at the passion in your eyes,”
he tells her, “you’re trying so hard to hate…but you
can’t.” “OK…uh…maybe you’re right,” she attempts to
cajole him, “maybe I’m…a little confused…and I need to
rethink this. So…I need to go and think…I need to take
Christina.” “No…no,” he insists, “you’d wake her up…I
don’t think you should do that.” “I…I’m sorry for what
I said…I need to leave,” she starts. “You don’t have
to apologize, Lucy,” he interrupts her, “you see…I’m
not…I don’t blame you…I blame him.” Lucy shakes her
head. “Don’t do that…you leave Ian out of this,” she
warns. “Oh…I’m happy to do that,” he retorts, “you
see…all I’m asking is for you to give us some
time…with no other voices…no interference …and then we
can be…” He moves toward her but she gasps and backs
away. “Now that makes me sad,” he admits, “I’m trying
so hard to be gentle…and caring…and to be the man that
you loved.” “Kevin was the man that I loved,” Lucy
tearfully admits, “he would never do this…he wouldn’t
hold me prisoner…he wouldn’t hold me against my will
like this.” “Well…maybe…I have changed,” he replies,
“the old Kevin never knew how to fight hard enough…not
when it came to people he loved. But the new Kevin
does…and that’s exactly what I’m doing, Lucy…I’m
fighting.” Lucy’s hand touches a knife lying on a try
beside her. “Well then…you’re going to have to force
me…to fight back,” she warns, “because blackmail…is
not love!” “I’m just keeping the promises that I made
to my wife and my daughter,” he insists. “Don’t come
any closer to me,” Lucy warns as she points the knife
at him. “Come on, Lucy,” he says. “No!” she yells,
“No…I’m done…don’t force me to do this…please.” “Well
then…do it…do it!” he orders as he stretches out his
arms, “right through the heart, Lucy…you might as
well. And then when I’m dead…and they take you
away…and Christina’s in a foster home…will you feel
better?” Lucy sobs, but continues to point the knife
at him. “No…I would be sick…to think that it’s come to
this,” she cries. “No more than I. I brought Christina
back for us to be a family, Lucy,” he insists, “don’t
tear that apart.” “That would be very…wrong…wouldn’t
it?” she weeps. “Unfair,” he adds, “but there’s still
the problem of you living with a vampire…and it’s
awfully hard to get custody under those circumstances.
Now…why don’t you put that down…so you can give this
some thought.” “What about Christina…what happens to
her?” Lucy asks. “She’ll stay here with me…of course,”
he insists. “Oh…she’d live here…alone…with you?” Lucy
tearfully questions. He tells Lucy she’s welcome to
stay also. Lucy struggles to compose herself. She
places the knife down on the table. “OK,” she tells
him. “You have to make him understand,” Kevin
explains, “Ian…you need to make him understand that
you want what’s best for your family.” “Right,” Lucy
attempts to appease him, “he’d never understand if I’d
leave him…if I didn’t make him see that I need to do
this.” “Want to do this,” Kevin corrects her.
“Want…because I don’t want to uproot Christina again,”
she says, “she’s been through so much.” “Exactly,” he
agrees, “so…you see it’s worth…giving it another try.”
“Chris…Christina’s…very important,” she continues. “To
both of us,” he reminds her. “She would be safe…with
you here tonight?” Lucy questions. “That hurts,” he
replies, “that’s a line I would never cross…and you
know that.” “OK…and you love me…and you want this…to
be all together?” she asks. “With all my heart…that’s
never changed,” he tells her. “So…Christina…will be
safe…here tonight,” she starts, “then I will come
back…tomorrow.” “To stay?” he asks. “I…need to go pack
a few things,” she says tearfully. Still crying, she
starts toward the door. “Lucy,” he calls, “I’m glad
we’ve finally come to an understanding about this. I
know we can make this work. So…” He leans over and
kisses her on the cheek. Although repulsed by him,
Lucy attempts to remain calm and steady. “You go
pack…Christina and I will be waiting for you to come
back.” She’s unable to respond as she turns and walks
out the door. Kevin picks up the knife she was holding
and studies it. He smirks. “’Til death do us part,” he
says aloud.
“OK…so this is what we’re going to do,” Rafe explains,
“we’re going to get the vampires and take care of
business…then we’re going to start looking for other
ways…” “There are no other ways,” Ian insists, “what
if I can’t control these urges?” “You don’t know
that…you don’t know what’s going to happen,” Rafe
insists. “Yes…I do,” Ian declares. “All right
then…call me,” Rafe tells the vampire. “I’ll call
you,” Ian promises, “what if I hurt somebody? What if
I kill somebody?” “OK…just hold on a second,” an
exasperated Rafe tells him, “everybody’s got these
‘what if’s’ in their lives. We can’t live like that!”
“That’s right,” Ian smiles, “that’s why I’m asking you
as a friend.” “Asking me as a friend…this is great,”
Rafe laments, “so you really want to do this?” “Choose
how I live my life…and not live my life…you bet I do,”
Ian answers. “I can…understand that,” Rafe admits.
“It’s going to be up to you…to explain to Lucy…and try
to make her understand,” Ian tells him. “I’m sorry…but
she won’t ever understand,” Rafe admits. “I know,” Ian
smiles, “I really do love her more than life itself.”
“Let’s get out of here,” Rafe then suggests.
“Olivia,” Caleb calls as he wanders through the drifts
of billowy curtains. “Here I am,” Livvie smiles. She
slips away through more layers of sheer curtains.
“Come to me,” he urges. “Find me,” she says
seductively as she slips away again. Caleb smiles. He
finds her and pulls her close to him. “I’ll always
find you,” he promises before kissing her
passionately. “Umm…that felt so good,” she tells him.
He picks up a drop of blood from her lip and places it
on his tongue. “But it’s not enough,” she adds, “I
want to feel your lips against mine again.” “What else
do you want?” he teases as they swirl around and
around together through the billowy curtains.
“Umm…your warm breath on my neck,” she answers. “The
taste of your sweetness,” he adds, “and our bodies
touching close. You’re finally home, my love.” “To
stay this time,” she promises as they lower themselves
down on the pillows. “Evermore,” he declares, “my
Olivia…my reason…my song…” “My love,” she adds. They
kiss passionately as they lie down on the mounds of
pillows.
“Thank God I lost her…finally…safe and sound,” Alison
tells herself as she walks into the apartment and
closes the door. She sits down on the bed to catch her
breath. “Not quite,” she hears Reese’s voice. The
vampire moves toward her. “Oh God!” Alison exclaims
and quickly gets up from the bed. “Well…I am your
personal angel of death,” Reese says as she crawls,
cat-like, across the bed, “welcome home, Sweet Pea.”
Alison attempts to dodge her but Reese outmaneuvers
her. “Why are you doing this?” Alison asks. Reese now
has her pinned against a wall. “Because…you hurt my
feelings, Alison,” the vampire explains, “I’m very
sensitive. You told me I was disgusting. You told me I
wasn’t worthy of being loved. Do you know how that
feels…never to have been worthy of love…can you even
imagine?” “No,” Alison admits. “Then you’re about to
find out,” Reese threatens, “it’s time for you to
become one of us.” “Oh, please,” Alison begs,
“don’t…don’t do this to me…please.” “Let’s see how
your slayer boyfriend feels…when he can’t bear to look
at you because you’re as disgusting as I am,” Reese
continues. “No,” Alison screams as Reese prepares to
bite her, “no…please don’t!” “Shut up! Shut up!” the
vampire yells, “this time you can’t stop me, Alison!”
She tries to bite Alison’s neck but can’t. “What are
you doing to me?!” Reese accuses, “I’ll kill you with
my bare hands if I have to.” “Alison,” Rafe yells as
he enters the apartment and sees what’s happening. He
grabs Reese and pitches her up against the wall. She
lands on the floor in a heap. With a stake in his
hand, he prepares to finish her off. “It’s your time
now, vampire,” he tells her. “No…don’t…Rafe…don’t!”
Alison insists as she pulls at him, “please stop it!.”
Reese gets up and quickly evaporates into thin air.
“Rafe,” Alison says afterwards. “What?” Rafe yells,
“why did you stop me?”
Kevin sits down on the sofa. “She’ll come back,” he
says smugly, “just like she always does.” He reaches
over and picks up the nightgown that Lucy wore on
their wedding night.
“Hi,” Ian greets Lucy as he steps inside her house.
“You went to the hot springs without me…didn’t you?”
she asks, “it…worked?” “I tried,” he admits sadly.
“Oh,” she realizes. He tells her he drank the blood
and listened to the music…but when he got into the
water, nothing happened. “Oh my God! I have to…” Lucy
starts, acutely aware of Kevin’s warnings. He asks if
she’s OK and then reassures her they’ll find another
way. “Yeah…right…of course we will,” she attempts to
smile. “What is it?” he asks. “Nothing…I need you to
hold me,” she replies, “we will…I know it…we’ll find
another way…we will win in the end. We can win this.”
She goes into his arms to be held. “We’ll just keep
fighting,” he responds. Both shed tears as they
attempt to come to terms with their own individual
fates…him to give up his life to keep her and others
safe…and her to sacrifice her future to a man she
doesn’t love to save him…and her daughter.
“Yours, Caleb…please make me yours, always,” Livvie
insists after they make love. “I love you,” he admits.
“Then show me…the sting and the sweetness is
everything…else drains away…and I feel your life flow
through my veins,” she insists, “please, let me be who
you want me to be…who I want to be. Let me take my
place and make us complete.” “Olivia,” he replies.
“Please do it, Caleb,” she pleads and tilts her head,
“make me yours.” Caleb bares his fangs and prepares to
bite her.

episode.
-
Friday, March 28- Lucy pauses at the lighthouse
front door and once more recalls the moments she spent
with Ian before she returned here. Steeling her
determination, she raps on the door before letting
herself in. “Hey…you’re home,” Kevin turns to her as
he pours himself a martini, “just in time…onion or
olive?” “Nothing…no thank you. Where is Christina?”
she asks. “Sound asleep…and without an ounce of
protest, I might add,” he tells her, “she really is a
wonderful little girl. We should be proud of our
daughter.”
“On second thought…I think I will have that drink,”
Lucy decides. He starts to get up from the sofa, but
she insists she’ll get it herself. “Looking a little
peaked there, Lucy,” he tells her, “breaking off with
Dr. Demento take it out of you?” “I think…just
standing here is more than enough,” she says. “Fair
enough…we won’t speak of…what’s his name…ever again.
So…here’s to you and me. Welcome home, Mrs. Collins,”
he tells her.
“I need to take five,” Ricky tells Joshua after a
heavy session on the drums. “No,” Joshua insists, “you
have to work harder.” “Joshua…we’ve been at this all
night,” Ricky protests. “There will come a time when
you’ll be called upon to give more,” Joshua explains,
“you have to be ready for the fight.” “Look…it’s a
concert,” Ricky reminds him, “you’re talking like
we’re taking over the world.” “Did you ever want to be
in the spotlight?” Joshua asks.
“I used to dream about it when I was a kid,” Ricky
admits. “You always wanted to be a player?” Temple
questions him. “Yeah…I figured I had this
certain…charm…you know,” Ricky reveals. “Well…charm’s
a good thing. That’s valuable,” Joshua says, “but if
you want to reach the top…you’ve got to be
hungry…you’ve got to be driven.” “Hey…look…I’m down
with the fame thing…I want to be famous, all right,”
Ricky tells him, “but…I like to have a good time,
too.” “You’ve got to fight for every crumb you can
get…otherwise…you’ll be overlooked,” Joshua advises,
“you’ll be standing…lonely…in the wings while somebody
else is center stage in the spotlight.” “We are still
talking about me, right?” Ricky wonders. Joshua glares
at him.
Ian knocks briskly on Rafe and Alison’s door. “I’m
sorry…I should have called,” he tells Rafe, “it’s
time.” “Good…I couldn’t agree more,” Rafe replies.
“Hey…what’s going on?” Alison greets him. “We’re
taking all the vampires down to the hot spring…and
taking them for a swim,” Ian explains. “And…then they
will be cured…and defanged?” Alison asks. “That’s what
we’re hoping…it’s the only thing that keeps me going,”
Ian replies. How motions to Rafe. “Wait…I don’t like
this…I don’t,” Alison says and throws her arms around
Ian. Ian looks at Rafe. “You know…don’t you?” Ian asks
her. “I do…I don’t…I don’t want you dying…trying to
save all of us,” Alison admits. “Well…you and Rafe
have a long, beautiful life ahead of you,” Ian
replies, “it’s going to be tough enough taking care of
this guy…you don’t want to do it in a world filled
with vampires.”
“I just don’t want you to think that we gave up on
you,” Alison tells him, “so…no matter what happens
tonight…just know that we will find a way out of
this…a cure or something…OK.” “Maybe we will…but we’ve
got a job to do,” he says, and motions to Rafe again,
“come on.” “Ian’s right…we have to focus,” Rafe tells
her. “After tonight…Port Charles will be free of all
vampires…once and for all,” Ian says.
“You do understand my position here, Ricky…don’t you?
I’m paid to psych up the team,” Joshua tells him. “So
that’s why I’m getting this little pep talk?” Ricky
guesses. “Yeah…I just want you to understand that the
road to the top can be tough,” Joshua continues,
“sometimes…the rules have to be bent.” “All right,”
Ricky smiles, “hey…breaking the rules…that’s half the
fun right there.” “You know…lines have to be
drawn…sides taken…certain people…they’ll
be…sacrificed,” Temple explains. “Hey…whatever it
takes to go the distance,” Ricky returns, “I’m there.”
“I knew I could count on you, Ricky…you’ve got a
killer instinct,” Joshua tells him, “you’re going to
go far in show business.”
He then orders Ricky to go home and get some sleep.
Ricky offers to help him lock up before leaving, but
Joshua turns down the offer. As soon as Ricky’s gone,
Joshua turns off the light. An eerie spotlight now
illuminates his face, making it ghastly white. “It’s
my turn now, Caleb,” Joshua promises himself, “I’ve
waited my entire life for this moment…I’m going to
bring you down…and all your friendly neighborhood
slayers with you.”
“Now I have to say…considering what you’ve been
through…you look lovely,” Kevin tells Lucy as they
sit, distantly, on the sofa, “maybe you’re one of
those people that just thrives under adversity.”
“You…still make an excellent martini,” Lucy replies.
“I really do believe there’s a chance for us, Lucy,”
he tells her, “I mean…it’s not like it hasn’t been
worse.” Lucy takes a deep breath but doesn’t answer
him. “Lucy,” he calls. “I was just trying to think…of
when it was worse,” she admits. “Well…you had me
committed…twice,” he offers. “You…you tried to kill
me…twice,” she reminds him. “Now that…would be
considered as worse,” he says, “than having a drink
together…but…it’s not like you haven’t redeemed
yourself along the way. I mean…you’ve bent over
backwards at times to save me from myself.” He gives a
short laugh. “Because…at the time, I truly…truly
believed that you were worth it,” she retorts. “But
not anymore?” he guesses.
“What…what are you doing?” she asks him, “what do you
really want?” “What do I want?” he replies, “I’ll tell
you what I want. I’d like to see just a glimpse of the
generosity that I used to see. Is that too much to
ask?” She can’t believe he’s asking her that. “I need
to check on Christina,” she tells him and puts down
her glass. “She’s fine,” Kevin insists, “she’s asleep.
Don’t wake her up. You know…I’m trying to pinpoint
just when you ran out of understanding.” An
exasperated Lucy admits that she doesn’t know…she’s
lost track. “Can’t it just be enough…that I’m standing
here…right in front of you?” she asks. “Well…I’m
beginning to think it’s for all the wrong reasons,” he
replies. “Blackmail…would be the reason,” she admits.
“That’s a little harsh,” he tells her. She reminds him
that he told her if she didn’t come back and live with
him, he’d tell everyone about Ian’s condition…and she
would lose Christina forever. “To be accurate…not just
move back in…but to be my wife…and all that that
entails,” he adds dryly, “I think we can give that our
best shot…don’t you?” “I am so tired…I am going to
bed,” Lucy replies. “I laid out your nightgown…the red
one I gave you for Christmas,” he suggests. “That is
not what I meant,” she insists. “Fine…we don’t have to
make love until you want to,” he insists, “but I will
be up in a little while to fall asleep next to you…and
wake up tomorrow morning next to you. That is the
beginning of normal for us, Lucy.” “Normal…of
course…normal,” Lucy replies. “You used to love
me…you’ll remember how,” he promises her. Lucy turns
without another word and leaves the room.
“There…all the little vampires…are going to take a
nice hot bath,” Temple says to himself as he studies
blueprints of Caleb’s building, “take a nice long dip
in a bat suit to cleanse their souls…all, except me,
of course. I’m going to be the…big bat. The last bat
standing…” As he continues to look over the plans,
Reese enters the room and walks over to him. “What are
you doing?” she asks. “I’m securing my future…there’s
going to be a lot of changes around here…duckie,” he
replies.
“We can’t let my circumstances distract us from what
needs to be done,” Ian tells Alison, “I know…I know
it’s not easy…and I think it’s lovely that you care,
but we have a job to do.” “OK…now,” Rafe intervenes,
“Caleb has been missing in action for awhile now…but
he’s a key part of getting this plan taken care of.
So…what we’re going to have to do is get his fellow
vampires down to the hot spring…and once they’re
there…and once he senses they’re in trouble…that’s
going to draw him there.” “OK…so then what?” Alison
questions, “you guys jump him…and take him
over…and…we’re all of a sudden supposed to say goodbye
to Caleb the vampire…and hello to Caleb the human?”
“Yeah,” Ian answers, “and once the last one’s cured…”
“That’s when the really hard part starts,” Rafe
admits. Ian shrugs. “I’d do the same for you if the
tables were turned,” Ian insists, “if you had to be
the one eliminated.”
“You’d find another way,” Rafe tells him.
“Then why don’t you find one for me,” Ian challenges,
“but if you can’t…we can’t…you’re a slayer…don’t fight
me on this.” Alison remains tearfully silent as the
men talk. “I’m never going to find peace with this,”
Rafe admits. “It’s the right thing to do,” Ian
insists, “you have to kill me, or put this whole town
in danger.” “You can’t just sit here…and talk about
dying…like it’s no big deal,” Alison breaks in, “come
on…give me a break! What about Lucy? And Daniel?” “I’m
not fit to be Danny’s father…you know that,” Ian tells
her, “and Lucy…she deserves to be loved…much better
than this.” “Lucy…she doesn’t know…does she?” Alison
realizes. “And she won’t know,” he insists.
“Ian,” Alison argues, “you’re never going to tell
her…ever?” “I wrote her a letter to say goodbye in my
own way,” he replies, “I just made my peace with it…so
leave me alone.” “OK…I just don’t know where you get
the courage…that’s all,” she tells him. “It’s not
courage, woman,” he admits, “it’s a fear of doing the
wrong thing. Let’s go get some vampires…come on.”
They’re unaware that Elizabeth has been standing at
the door and listening to them. She drops back against
the wall as they step out into the hallway. “Mother,”
Alison calls. They all turn to face her. “Hey
Elizabeth…what are you up to now?” Rafe asks.
Kevin sorts through snapshots of him and Lucy as she
reenters the room. “I remember the day this was
taken,” he holds it up to her, “we took the boat and
went out on the lake…I remember I drew a charcoal of
you. I’m going to have to remember to look for that.”
“I…stopped in to check on Christina on my way up…and
she’s so restless. She’s not sleeping very well,” Lucy
tells him. “You know kids…they thrash around,” he
explains.
“Maybe,” she admits nervously, “I…think I need to stay
with her tonight…it would be better for her…to sleep
in there.” “OK,” he says amicably, “whatever makes you
happy.” “Thank you…goodnight,” Lucy says and turns to
leave. “Aren’t you going to kiss me goodnight?” he
asks. Kevin moves toward her and Lucy remains frozen.
Victor slips up from behind him and knocks Kevin out.
“Victor…you have no idea,” an overwrought Lucy starts
to cry. He attempts to comfort her as she lets the
tears flow.
“No,” Elizabeth complains as Rafe ushers her into
their apartment. “Deal with it…OK. Sit down,” he
orders. “Who are you spying for now?” Alison asks.
“What?” Elizabeth replies. “What are you trying to
find out?” Rafe then questions her. “I’m not spying,”
she insists. “Why were you lurking in the hallway?”
Ian asks. “Because I was trying to get up enough nerve
to come in here,” she tells them. “You’re not even
supposed to be in Port Charles,” Alison reminds her.
“Well, I am,” Alison’s mom tells her. “You never
left…did you?” Rafe guesses. “I had to make sure that
Joshua wasn’t going to come after me,” Elizabeth
insists. “Oh God! What did you do?” Alison asks as she
rubs her temples.
“I had to tell him what I knew,” Elizabeth admits.
“About what?” Rafe asks. “Please…please…don’t be mad
at me,” Elizabeth begs, “you have no idea how bad I
feel.” “What did you say to him?” Ian asks. “He knows
about the hot springs…and that we’ve found
it…and…and…what you’re planning to do with the rest of
the vampires,” Elizabeth spills. “What is the matter
with you!” Alison yells, “don’t you understand…now
he’s going to go tell Caleb.” “No, he won’t,” her
mother insists, “he wants to be rid of Caleb as much
as you guys do.” “Why is that?” Rafe questions.
“Because he’s tired of being second banana,” Elizabeth
explains, “he wants to be master of the vampire
kingdom.”
“Is everything OK?” Reese asks as Joshua rolls up the
blueprint. “Yeah…everything’s fine with me,” he tells
her, “you don’t seem so good…what’s troubling you,
cookie?” “Everything’s a bit weird, isn’t it?” she
admits, “Caleb’s practically abandoned us.” “I think
he’s probably reprioritizing his life,” Joshua
replies. “What? At our expense? The band…his friends?”
she questions. “Some people…don’t value loyalty to
highly, you know,” he tells her. “Yeah…well I feel
awful,” she admits, “I tried to feed…and I couldn’t.”
“Really,” he says. “Yeah…since then, I’m famished…the
water’s just not cutting it,” she confesses. “You
know…I sympathize with you…I’ve been there myself,” he
tells her. “Caleb always knows how to make me feel
better,” she says. “Do you know what the truth is…what
Caleb knows…the rest of us have learned,” he replies.
“Why is it that men always leave?” she asks. “Not all
men, sweetie,” he reassures her, “I’m still here.”
Joshua bares his neck and allows her to feed.
“If you find the charcoal drawing…I wish you would
destroy that, too,” Lucy insists as she rips up the
photographs of her with Kevin. Victor is busy…tying a
now-conscious Kevin to a chair. “You are a piece of
work,” Kevin replies, “hitting my own father in a plot
against me.” “Monk…I’m so sorry…” Victor starts.
“Don’t ever call me that again,” Kevin yells at him.
“Victor…this is not your son…and this is not the man
that I loved,” Lucy insists. “Do you know what your
problem is, Lucy?” Kevin tells her, “no attention
span. If someone’s not perfect enough for you…you move
along and ruin the next man’s life. Well…at least
Christina still likes me.”
“No…you’re not going to do this,” Lucy heatedly
insists, “you’re not going to use Christina against me
anymore.” “No…I won’t allow that,” Victor concurs. “Oh
look! My two best friends…deceit and betrayal,” Kevin
retorts. Lucy starts to cry. “Victor…thank you. I
didn’t think you were going to come. I know what this
is costing you…I am so…sorry,” Lucy cries. “You’re
family…I’d do anything to protect you,” Victor assures
her. “The man who turned his back on both his sons,”
Kevin insists, “suddenly finds a warm and cuddly place
in his heart for his family.” “You’re not going to do
that,” Lucy warns, “you’re not going to make him feel
guilty for helping me…and you’re not going to mess
with me or the girls anymore…now…I want you to tell
me…where are they?”
She starts looking around the room as a puzzled Victor
wonders what she’s searching for. “What are you
ranting about now?” Kevin asks. “The pictures…and the
tape,” she answers, “I want them…you cannot blackmail
people…to love you, Kevin. It doesn’t work that way.
You have to earn it…and you have to have a heart…and
you don’t.” She finds the items and tosses them into
the fire. “That’s good…a lecture on love from you,” he
retorts. Lucy starts crying again. “It’s OK,” Victor
tries to comfort her. “It’s not OK,” she says, “it’s
not ever going to be OK.” Now almost hysterical, she
tells him she has to go…get out of there. “You’re
going to take Christina, right?” she asks. “Some place
where she’ll be safe…I promise you,” Victor reassures
her. Lucy continues to ramble as she lets the tears
flow. She thanks Victor and tells him she’ll explain
everything to him later. “I love you,” she adds. “I
love you,” he responds before starting upstairs. Lucy
grabs her purse and defiantly moves to the door. “Are
you going to leave me here like this?” Kevin asks. “I
am going to leave you all alone,” Lucy answers, “and
by yourself…because that’s what you deserve. You’ve
earned this!” She walks out and slams the door.
“Do you feel better?” Joshua asks Reese after their
mutual feeding. “Thanks, Josh…that’s exactly what I
needed,” she admits. “Oh…you can always count on me,
Pussycat,” he coos, “you know…the pleasure was all
mine…truly.” He tells her she looks sleepy. She admits
she is and he suggests she take a nap on the sofa. She
complies. Joshua walks over to the mirror while she
naps. “I hope you enjoyed that, Reese,” he whispers to
himself, “that’s your last supper. It’s over for the
two of us…what a shame…but quite simply…by the time
I’m finished…there just won’t be any room for you.”
“Joshua wants to overthrow Caleb!” Rafe exclaims,
“what is he…crazy?” “No…he’s power hungry,” Elizabeth
admits. “I can’t even believe I trusted you,” Alison
laments, “how long did it take you to warn us?”
“Listen, Alison…I feel horrible about this,” Elizabeth
replies, “but he is terrifying! He wanted me to leave
the country.” “But you didn’t go?” Rafe questions.
“You have no idea how deathly afraid of this man I
am,” Elizabeth explains. “So once again…all you care
about is saving yourself,” Alison accuses. “This is
really unfair,” her mother insists, “I’m here, aren’t
I? I took my life into my hands to come here and tell
you this. I think a little appreciation would be more
appropriate.” “Gee…thanks, Mom,” Alison retorts. “I
risked everything for you,” Elizabeth continues, “and
what do I get? The back of your hand.” “Don’t look at
me,” Rafe tells her, “as far as I’m concerned…you’re
getting off light.” “I should have just run off and
let you all hang,” Elizabeth replies, “you certainly
don’t deserve me.” She gets up off the bed and marches
over to the bathroom. “Truer words were never spoken,”
Ian says.
Alison follows her mother and locks the bathroom door
behind her. “She belongs there,” Alison states,
“now…where were we?” “OK…we’ve got to figure out some
what that Joshua can’t use the information he knows,”
Rafe replies. “Well…that’s easy,” Ian insists, “I’ll
find him…drag him to the hot spring…and throw him in.”
“Wait…wait a second…I think I’ve got a better way,”
Rafe suggests, “you kill him.” “I what?” Ian asks.
“That’s the goal…right? The goal is to get rid of
Joshua…and save you, right?” Rafe reminds him. “Yeah,”
Ian admits. “Well…that’s what we do. You…you bite
him,” Rafe explains, “you make him bleed until he
dies, all right. You feed on him.” “I’m not biting
anybody,” Ian insists. “You told me to find another
way,” Rafe reminds him, “well…this is your other way.
You feed on him…he dies…then we can put you in the
spring and save you.” Ian turns to see Lucy standing
there. “Rafe’s right, you know,” Lucy says, “if it
means saving your life, you have no choice. You have
to kill Joshua.”
-
Monday, March 31- At the Light House, Kevin struggles
against his bonds and vows to pay Ian and Lucy back
for their treachery. When Karen arrives unexpectedly,
Kevin convinces Karen that he was attacked by a couple
of intruders and Karen quickly releases Kevin.
However, when Karen suggests that they call the Port
Charles Police Department to report the home invasion,
Kevin insists to Karen that they MUST leave the police
out of it. Then Kevin rushes out the door, leaving a
puzzled Karen shaking her head behind him.
At Rafe's Loft, Lucy and Alison try to persuade Ian to
consider Rafe's plan for Ian to kill Joshua so that
Ian could be healed in the healing spring, but Ian
continues to reject Rafe's plan. Alison, Rafe and Lucy
finally head toward the healing spring, while Ian
heads toward Stephen's Studio, to lure Joshua to the
healing pool. When Rafe and Lucy arrive in the
underground cavern that houses the spring, they
discuss their plan to lure Caleb's followers to the
spring and throw them into the water, hoping for an
instant cure.
Jack meets Reese in the alley behind Stephen's Studio
and Jack immediately notices that Reese has been
feeding. As Jack demands that Reese tell him WHO she
has been feeding on, Alison suddenly arrives and
informs Jack that Jack's latest girlfriend tried to
take a bite out of Alison! As Alison and Reese begin
to argue, Alison suddenly slaps Reese and runs away.
Reese follows Alison and Jack decides to follow both
of them to stop their fight. At the same time, Casey
meets Caz outside the Recovery Room and promises to
take him to a party. Although Caz views Casey's
invitation with suspicion, he finally agrees to follow
Casey to the 'party.' Down in the cavern, Jamal alerts
Lucy and Rafe their their honored guests are beginning
to arrive. When Caz and Casey arrive, Rafe snaps some
vampire-proof handcuffs on Caz. As they make ready to
throw the protesting Caz into the pool, Alison
arrives, with Reese following close behind her.
However, when Rafe grabs Reese, she slips out of his
grasp and runs to Jack for protection. When Jamal
explains that the pool will cure Caz and Reese of
their eternal curse, Reese refuses to go in and Jack
protests that Reese should NOT have to take a dunk in
the healing pool if she doesn't want to go! Caz
finally decides to take the plunge voluntarily, while
Alison plays Caleb's music and Rafe and Lucy plug
their ears to avoid listening to the music. When Caz
plunges into the pool, the cavern is bathed in an
eerie red glow. Lucy begins to worry because Ian and
Joshua have not arrived yet. But Reese takes advantage
of the distraction created by Caz's plunge to make a
break for it. Reese grabs Alison once again and tries
to bite Alison, but the Bat-Girl discovers again that
she can NOT bite Alison! Rafe suddenly grabs the
startled Reese and tosses Reese into the pool. The
cavern again turns red as Reese bobs back to the
surface.
Ian breaks into Stephen's Studio, and, as he looks for
clues about Joshua's plans, Ian finds architectural
drawings for Caleb's building, including the hidden
pool! But, before Ian can discover what Joshua is
planning to do, Ian hears Joshua returning and hides.
From his hiding place, Ian overhears Joshua ordering
someone to make sure there are NO survivors at the
pool! However, when Joshua leaves and Ian follows
Joshua, Kevin suddenly steps out of the shadows and
injects Ian with an instant-working tranquilizer.
Kevin then takes Ian back to the Light House, where
Kevin gleefully begins to seal Ian up inside a wall in
Kevin's artist's studio. In the meantime, Joshua
returns to Stephen's Studio with a suitcase that
contains a device for listening in on the
conversations inside the cavern ~ and a detonator for
a bomb!
At Caleb's Villa, Caleb promises Livvie that, now that
they are together and are complete ~ they will be
unstoppable and untouchable. As Caleb and Livvie plan
their future, Caleb is suddenly startled by something
he senses. Caleb announces to Livvie that he knows
that something has happened and he needs to go. Livvie
begs Caleb NOT to leave her, but Caleb pulls away.
-
Tuesday, April 1, First 12 mins- In Kevin's
Lighthouse Artist's Studio, Ian regains consciousness
and realizes that Kevin is bricking Ian into a wall.
Kevin explains that he gave Ian a mega-dose of a
sedative with an agent that would cause paralysis from
the neck down! Ian tries to convince Kevin that Kevin
needs to let Ian go so that Ian can save Lucy. But
Kevin insists that it is KEVIN who is rescuing Lucy ~
from a life-time shackled to a monster like Ian! As
Ian tries to reason with Kevin, Kevin announces that
he has only one detail left before his finishes his
project ~ and Kevin brings out a sharpened, wooden
stake. As Kevin sharpens the stake, he informs Ian
about what Kevin plans to do with the stake. As Kevin
gloats that he will soon be rid of Ian for all time,
Ian suddenly stands up, and, with fangs bared and red
eyes flashing, Ian knocks down Kevin's brick wall and
attacks Kevin! Kevin is shocked when Ian attacks him.
But, as Kevin fears the worst, Ian suddenly shoves
Kevin aside and rushes past Kevin and out the door.
In the cavern, when Jack and Jamal pull Reese and Caz
out of the water, Jack believes they are both dead.
But Rafe, Alison, Lucy and Casey assure Jack that
Reese and Caz will soon recover and be OK. In the
meantime, Lucy admits to Rafe that she is still
worried because Joshua and Ian have not yet arrived.
When Reese and Caz regain consciousness, Caz appears
to be happy that the curse has been lifted from his
life, but Reese is devastated that she has now lost
her powers! Caz hugs Lucy, then leaves with Casey and
Jamal. However, Reese tries to start another fight
with Alison. When Reese suddenly slaps Alison, Rafe
and Jack break the two women up. Jack finally
convinces Reese to leave with him and Rafe implores
Alison to go with Jack and Reese. Alison leaves
reluctantly, after Lucy promises that Lucy will watch
out for her cousin Rafe!
At Caleb's Villa, Caleb tells Livvie that he MUST
confront Rafe and Lucy, but Livvie begs Caleb to
ignore the threat from Rafe and Lucy and stay at the
Villa with Livvie. However, Caleb sadly informs Livvie
that he has no other choice. When Livvie announces
that she will go with Caleb, Caleb informs Livvie that
she can NOT accompany him for the showdown! Caleb
takes his family heirloom ring from his finger and
gives it to Livvie. Caleb instructs Livvie to wear the
ring close to her heart until he returns. Caleb
reminds Livvie of the many times that Lucy has tried
to destroy Caleb in the past and that each attempt
failed! Caleb tells Livvie that the ring will protect
her, then he vanishes.
After Alison leaves the cavern, Lucy again expresses
her worry about Ian to Rafe and Rafe urges Lucy to go
look for Ian. However, as Lucy prepares to leave the
cavern, Caleb suddenly appears! Caleb blasts Lucy and
Rafe for holding a private pool party in HIS cavern.
But Lucy and Rafe argue that it is selfish of Caleb to
keep the discovery of the healing pool to himself!
Rafe instructs Lucy to remember to turn the music on
when Rafe gets Caleb where he wants him. But, when
Rafe attacks Caleb, Caleb easily begins to knock Rafe
around instead. When Lucy rushes forward to help Rafe,
Caleb grabs Lucy. As Lucy struggles to escape Caleb's
death grip, Rafe instructs Lucy to turn the music on.
Then Rafe suddenly rushes Caleb, and both Caleb and
Lucy fall into the pool!
When Jamal and Casey return with Caz to the alley
behind the studio, Casey urges Caz and Jamal to join
hands with her and say a prayer for the combatants
below. At the same time, Reese, Jack and Alison also
arrive in the alley and Reese blames Jack for her loss
of powers ~ because hanging out with Jack made her
'too nice!' When Alison blasts Reese for NOT being
grateful that the Bat-Girl has escaped unscathed from
a deadly eternal curse, Reese argues that she LIKED
what she was! Reassuring Reese that he likes her with
or without fangs, Jack finally convinces Reese to go
home with him! Alison warns Jack that he is just
setting himself up for a repeat of the Livvie
situation, but Jack refuses to listen to Alison and
leaves with Reese.
From the safety of the Music Studio, Joshua listens in
on the events in the cavern, biding his time until he
hears Caleb baiting Rafe and Lucy. Meanwhile, at the
Villa, Livvie begs Caleb to come back to her. At the
same time, the cavern turns red and Rafe pulls Lucy
from the pool. Caleb soon emerges from the pool,
cursing Rafe for his interference. Lucy gleefully
welcomes Caleb to the world of mortality and Rafe
warns Caleb that there can be NO more killing! At the
same time, at the Villa, Livvie breaks down in
hysterical sobs as she senses that something has
happened to Caleb. And, from his listening post in the
Music Studio, Joshua gloats that, IF Caleb is now
mortal, Caleb CAN be terminated and Joshua will become
the new King of the Undead! Joshua gleefully detonates
the bomb hidden in the cavern! Note: Last 8 minutes of this episode carries over
onto the next dvd before the start of Desire.
