NBC_Live: Welcome, DEIDRE, to our chat this evening.
NBC_Star: Hi there. Nice to be joining you from the comfort of my own home.
AskNBC: guest-lisamichelle says: Hello Deidre, There are many of us who've followed Marlena's storyline for years. We have you to thank for quite the entertaining video library. Are there any storylines that you've saved on tape over the years?
NBC_Star: My fan club has been good enough to save every scene I have ever done.
NBC_Star: Amoung my favorites are the twins story line and of course everybody's favorite, the possession!

At Drake's most recent chat he took the fifth when asked about practical jokes between you and him on the set...do you have any silly stories about the jokes on set?
NBC_Star: Thank you for all voting! Now if you have 20,000 close friends I will be a shoe-in!
NBC_Star: I will follow my leading man's lead and take the fifth.

NBC_Star: Thank you. I think Marlena is a wonderful role model and don't envy anybody growing up and making their way in the world today.

NBC_Star: If I knew, I would tell you, so of course they won't tell me! But I will promise a very exciting story line that is just beginning.

NBC_Star: I have been very lucky to enjoy all my leading characters. Drake is a favorite of mine as well as yours.

NBC_Star: There are six all together. My two favorites are the ones on which I recorded "'Twas the night before christmas" and the jukebox that plays "Rock around the Christmas Tree" and "Jingle Bell Rock"

NBC_Star: You buy the current issue of Soap Opera Digest (Nov 24th issue) and in fact buy a dozen! And send in your ballots postmarked BEFORE Nov 23.

NBC_Star: Hearing my own boys laugh together, and before that, well... I can't remember what made me laugh before that.

NBC_Star: I see you got my fan club journal. I am glad you like the picture of Tully and I fishing together. The boys are dreamy, thanks for asking.

NBC_Star: I have always liked being a twin, Andrea is magnificent, and we get closer all the time. In fact she met me in NY when we were doing Rosie.
AskNBC: guest-dee_h2000 says: Dee - As an adult, is there any advice you would give to teenagers today? What did you find to be the hardest times to handle as a teen?
NBC_Star: Life was simpler when I was a teenager and there is no comparison to what you all go through today.
AskNBC: guest-dee_h2000 says: Dee - I read that you enjoy movies from "The Golden Age". Who do you most look up to as an actor/actress from that time? What are your favorite older movies?
NBC_Star: I adore Bette Davis, Katherine Hepburn, Gene Tierny. There are many lessons to be learned from the technique that they perfected.
NBC_Star: If only I could get their lighting men!

NBC_Star: Ever since my boys were born, I have become much more emotional. And if the scene moves me, I let myself cry.

NBC_Star: I just read my Christmas Eve script and was very moved, and that is far ahead as I have read.

NBC_Star: The clothes we wear are owned by NBC but Richard Bloore is always gracious enough to let us borrow them.

NBC_Star: The nomination is determined by the editors of the magazine and that can be a very subjective thing. It is more fun to win it because that is a gift from the fans.
