Who are M&M?
M&M are Melissa and Mandy – two girls who are totally obsessed with Days of Our Lives! They have been friends for about 11 years now, ever since Mandy’s family moved next door to Melissa’s family. Mandy is 20 years old and is a Business Economics major and Spanish minor, as well as a DJ for her college radio station. She graduated high school in 1998, and will graduate college in 2002. Melissa is 19 and is a prospective English or Communications major at the same college as Mandy. She was Ad Designer for her high school newspaper and graduated in 2000. When did M&M start watching Days?
Melissa started watching around 1992. She got Mandy hooked on the show around 1993.
When did this site start?
This site began on January 17, 2000.
When do you guys update this page?
We usually update this page about everyday, and if it isn’t everyday we will probably update it within 2-3 days.
How do you work on this page, only when you are together, separately, or what?
We usually work on this page separately and just read the Updates section to find out what has been done. Most of the time we are on AIM while we update so we update together. Sometimes while one of us is over at the other’s house, we will make some major updates, like scan pictures, create new sections, etc.
So who runs what on your page?
Well, both Melissa and Mandy work equally as hard on this page, but we both have sort of settled into our own "departments". Melissa does a lot of the *Favorites* section, like updating the Spoilers, Recaps and Photos as well as the historical/informational side to our site such as the Family Trees and Songs. Mandy usually does most of the *Humor* section, such as the Animations and Warping, as well as handling the PR aspect of our site (our emails) and adding our visitors submissions to our page such as in the Visitor Opinion section. The rest is basically overlap.
Can you guys give me a summary of what happened on Days since *add day/month/year here*?
Sorry, but we don’t have the time or the resources to fill anyone in on what has been happening on Days. We do have a weekly recap for every week since the beginning of 2000, and are working on creating a yearly recaps page to sum up all the happenings on Days every year since it’s beginning…so be on the lookout for that section in the future!
Where do you get your spoilers/rumors?
We get our spoilers/rumors from all over the place: soap mags, friends, emails from our visitors, other accredited sites, etc.
Why do your pictures have that annoying “M&M” plastered on them?
Well, we originally didn’t have that on our pictures, but because so many sites were stealing our pictures without our permission (and without giving us a shred of credit) we had to do that. We are grateful to the many people who did email us to ask for permission to use our pics, but there were just too many dishonest people out there and we had to finally do that. We have spent quite a bit of money on magazines and books for our pictures, and have spent a great deal of time scanning, resizing and uploading the pictures to our site, so we didn’t think that it was fair that all of our hard work was getting snatched away without a bit of credit. We realize that the M&M on the pictures isn’t very pleasing, but it was the only option left. And for the record, we still would like for you to ask us to use our pics on your site. Just because it has the M&M on them doesn’t mean that you can just take them now – you still have to ask for our permission. Thanks! :o)
Why do your photos and links appear to be broken sometimes?
Those are problems with Angelfire and not associated with our html codes. After we create a link or add a photo to our site we always check to make sure that the links and pictures are not broken. If you have this problem, hit the refresh button on your browser and the link or picture should appear.
