His name is Harry Connick, Jr. His music reached international acclaim years ago. A smooth blend of jazz, swing, and big band, DXA has elected Connick and his music as our second addition to the Most Wanted page. So, you ask, what would he be doing on the show? Well, first of all, look at the guy. He’d make a great guest-star for a song or two at Caritas. But we had more in mind for him that that.

"Right now, I'm just taking my time to keep learning my craft." - Harry Connick, Jr.

Most Wanted: The section where we decide who should guest-star!

Harry is not only a great musician, he also has an extensive list of acting credits, from Independence Day to South Pacific, he’s always one to snatch a role in the studio. He’d be great as a suave vampire, a date for Cordelia, or an employee of Wolfram & Hart. On BTVS, he could be a member of the Watcher’s Council, a musician performing at UC Sunnydale, or an ex-member of the Initiative.

But for all the Oscar, Emmy, and Golden Globe nominations on his resume, we at DXA have to agree that it all comes back to the music. Our selections for Harry to sing on ANGEL would be his arrangements of It Had to Be You and Where or When. Joss, get a hold of this guy...he’s awesome!

"When Miles Davis or Louis Armstrong played, they never produced a note that didn't need to be played," says Harry. "The great musicians are the ones that make the most interesting choices." - Harry Connick, Jr.
