Shanesia-Davis Williams was born on September 30, 19?? in Detroit, Michigan. best known for her role as Marisa, she is not really blind, though she does a good job of fooling fans. "I strive to bring integrity and independence to the role," she says. And succeed, she did. How did she do it? Shanesia prepared for her role at the Chicago Guild for the Blind, making sure to perfect her role. Shanesia is the youngest of seven children, and graduated from the Goodman School of Drama with a bachelor's degree in fine arts. Williams appeared in a number of Chicago plays, including "Ties That Bind", and "Hamlet". In addition to Early Edition, Shanesia has starred in the ABC show "Gabriel's Fire", alongside James Earl Jones. She has most recently starred in "Last Word", which is still in production. She is married and lives in Chicago with her daughter.
