Stephanie
Stephanie Judith Tanner is the middle daughter in the Tanner family. Being the middle child can be hard, but Stephanie usually manages to get the needed attention, by being funny and outgoing.
When Full House started Stephanie was only five years old, but her character has changed a lot over the years. At age five she already loved ballet, and her dream was to become a real ballerina one day. As she got a few years older she became quite a tomboy, interested in sports, and mostly playing with boys. But her most important hobby was still to dance. At one time she even took extra dance classes, in order to become a professional dancer. But she soon decided that it wasn’t the right thing for her, and went back to the life she had led before, with dancing still being a part of her life, but not her whole life. When Stephanie became a teenager she seemed to lose interest in dancing. Instead friends, clothes, and boys seemed to become more important in her life, just like most other teenagers.
Stephanie has had different friends over the years. As a little girl her best friend was Harry. In fact Stephanie and Harry even got married once. As a teenager Stephanie’s best friend was Gia. Stephanie got to know Gia when she started Jr. High. Although Gia often gets Stephanie in trouble, the two girls have a lot of fun together. Although Stephanie has managed to get herself in trouble quite often as well.
She once dropped her father’s wedding ring down the drain, she (with the help of her older sister DJ) managed to make a whole in the wall, and she stole a sweater. But the worst thing was without a doubt when she was watching Joey’s car, and accidentally drove it into the kitchen. Stephanie sure was glad she had a forgiving dad that day!
