The Zaku FZ is another variation of the Zaku 2. Not much of an improvement. It's faster but that's it. The Zaku FZ still isn't equipped with any beam weapons. A beam saber or a beam rifle would really improve this mobile suit. Still, a Zaku FZ is used to take out the Gundam Alex. There are a few factors that make this a fight giving the Zaku FZ the advantage. The Zaku is not superior. One is that without a newtype the Gundam only reached 30% total efficiency. The second is that the heavy armor was destroyed by the Kampfer. Also, in the fight with the Kampfer the Gundam used up the gatling munitions in the left arm and it was never replaced. Finally the Zaku pilot had set up traps and smoke to help give the Zaku suprise.
