Cleavon was born Cleavon Jake Little on June 1st, 1939 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Cleavon's first known movie was called "What's So Bad About Feeling Good?" in 1968. As for his first TV guest appearance, that was "All In The Family" in 1971. After playing Hawthorne Dooley in "The Homecoming", Cleavon Little went onto acting in a great deal of movies and appearing in TV shows. His last known movie was "Goin to Chicago" in 1991. Cleavon died from cancer on October 22, 1992 in Sherman Oaks, California. He was divorced and had one daughter. |
