Prologue

The minion kneeled in front of Angelus with his head bowed, feeling his master's dark eyes look cold upon him. The much older vampire eager to break his every bone twice if the fledgling came with bad news. Despite the fact that the vampire actually had good news he was trembling in fear knowing of the cruelties his master would put him through if he wasn't pleased enough.

"We have finally found the book you've been searching for, master." The minion said, keeping his head bent.

"Are you sure, boy? I've been looking for this volume for over a lifetime and if I get my hopes up only to be disappointed" Angelus' cold voice trailed off, leaving the threat hanging in the air.

The minion glanced worriedly up at his master before rapidly looking down at the ground again. "It's the one, master. I swear."

Angelus ran his fingers through his dark hair, his eyes gleaming in anticipation. "Well then, what the hell are you waiting for, boy? Hand it over."

The minion rose and clapped his hands. Another minion entered the room carrying an aged book, bound in brown leather, on a red velvet cushion. The female minion kneeled before Angelus lifting the pillow towards him while she stared down into the ground, avoiding eye contact with her master. She had made the mistake of looking him in the eye once without permission and he had beaten her so badly, that her friends had been forced to drag her, unconscious and battered, from the room. She wasn't planning on making the mistake of angering him again.

Angelus seized the book carefully and growled to his minions to leave him. He fingered on the leather and closed his eyes taking an unneeded breath. He could feel it. This was the one. The one that told a prophecy about his destiny.

Angelus let his eyelids flutter open and then he opened the book, searching for the right prophecy. He found it, read a few lines and froze for a few seconds before continuing to read.

"No! Those fucking little slayer bitches" He growled, throwing the fragile book across the room. He got up from his chair and started to pace. A minion was foolish enough to check up on his master and Angelus beat the helpless vampire to dust.

Annoyed as hell, he threw himself down into the chair and rubbed his temples. He couldn't believe it but he was starting to get a headache. Why him? What had he done to deserve this? He almost laughed at the thought and then groaned, rubbing his temples harder.

A fucking slayer would be his downfall. Well, fucking terrific!

At least it wasn't that blonde bitch his soul-filled twin had had a crush on. The blonde bitch slayer, whom his childe now was fucking silly. Christ, his youngest childe just had to walk in his footsteps.

Angelus groaned, thrusting thoughts of the Slayer and Spike aside. He had greater things to deal with. A new slayer, who according to the fucking prophesy, would be his destruction.

Angelus knew enough about prophecies to know that they couldn't be changed, but he wasn't planning on going down quietly. He would find the bitch and take her with him to hell.

Chapter One

Angelus leaned his back against the counter of the bar and let his eyes roam over the dancers. The faces were unfamiliar to him, which wasn't strange since he no longer was in the little town of Sunnydale. His research of the new Slayer had brought him here, to LA, and to this very nightclub. He had been hanging around the club for a few nights but still hadn't spotted her among the normal humans nor the occasional vampires and demons.

Angelus sipped his drink, and almost spit out a mouthful, when his dark eyes fell upon a tall, dark young woman dancing sensually alone in the middle of the dance floor. Her raven hair fell in soft curls down to her slim waist. Her skin was pale, almost ghostly white. Her eyes were golden, shadowed in yellow and orange color that glimmered in the lights of the flashing lights of the club. Her black dress was skintight, hugging her curves and showing off her long legs to perfection. She truly was a vision.

Angelus felt his cock twitch and growled low in his throat. Not only was she a beautiful young woman *she* also was the Slayer.

He could feel the power radiating from her in waves, warning him of coming too near. She was dangerous but so was he.

Angelus finished his drink and then gracefully made his way through the dancers until he reached her. He stood motionless, noticing her wince and then turn her head slightly to look at him. He knew she knew what he was.

The girl licked her blood red lips, penetrating him with her golden eyes before turning and dancing seductively close against him. Angelus couldn't believe his eyes. Angrily he caught her around the waist and pulled her flush against him. She didn't make a sound, just continued rocking her hips to the rhythm of the music.

Angelus grinned, moving with her. He felt her slender hands cover his as she ran them slowly over her well-shaped body. Angelus stroked his chin against hers, listening to the blood coursing through her veins. She smelled like the night.

Angelus moved his hands to cup her high, soft breasts, looking down into the deep cleavage of her dress. He pressed closer to her, making sure she felt his arousal. He wanted to see if it scared her out of her little game of seduction, so they could have their confrontation.

"I'm here to kill you." He whispered into her ear, spinning her around to face him. She was smiling but her eyes were nothing but serious.

"Likewise, Angelus. But wouldn't you rather fuck me first?" She asked him, touching her blood red lips with the tips of her fingers before letting them touch his cold lips.

"What's your game, little girl?" Angelus growled, his eyes flashing with anger.

"No game, vampire. Meet me behind the club." She said, turning to walk away. Angelus seized her wrist, stopping her.

"What's your name?" He inquired.

"Luna." She answered, her eyes full of darkness as she ripped her arm free from his grasp. Angelus watched her go and groaned. She was too mysterious for his liking. He didn't feel in control of the situation but his cock didn't care. It was begging for *something* to pound into, might as well be a Slayer's pussy, *it* wasn't that picky.

******

Luna was leaning against the brick wall, smoking, when he walked up to her. She blew out rings of smoke gracefully, giving him a smile.

"You're playing with fire, Slayer." Angelus told her and ripped the cigarette from her slender fingers and slammed her up against the wall.

"I have been doing so ever since I was born, vampire." She breathed out, licking her lips as he nuzzled her neck. When his face morphed he felt a stake pressed against his back.

"Ah, play nice." Luna whispered. "You're about to get lucky."

"Maybe I want to fight you instead" Angelus said, pushing away from her, making sure the stake was far from his heart.

"Who said we weren't going to fight, afterwards?" She said, pulling him hard against her chest. Angelus growled, kissing her fiercely. If she was begging for it, then he would give it to her, she had better be strong enough to take him, cause he wasn't planning on holding back.

Angelus grabbed her arms in a bruising grip, dragging her out to the street and pushing her, sending her crashing into a thrash can. Luna looked up, bewildered, her black hair hanging in front of her face. She pushed the strands of hair aside and gave him an amused smile. She reached a hand out towards him and he took it, dragging her up.

Angelus soon found himself pressed up against the wall, a tongue exploring his mouth. He moaned, bringing his arms around her back. His hands went down over her buttocks and then sneaked in under her dress. He pushed two long strong fingers inside her silky panties, feeling her juices wetting them.

Luna moaned, bucking against his fingers and he slid one inside her moist vagina, moving it in and out of her in a slow pace. He looked into her eyes and smiled when he saw her eyes burning with desire for him.

A noise, piercing their sensitive ears, had them quickly pulling apart. Stepping out in the middle of the alley, they saw a demon eight feet tall, standing a few meters away. Angelus growled threateningly, feeling the Slayer tug at his arm.

"We need to run." She said and he looked into her eyes. She was frightened. Angelus cocked his eyebrow at her.

"Didn't think you were the kind to run whenever trouble came your way, *Slayer*." He replied, annoyed. Luna's eyes started to sparkle in anger.

"Fine." She hissed, charging at the demon. In seconds she was flying through the air, crashing into a wall. Angelus took a quick look at the demon and then ran to her side. He stared down at her, watching her spit out blood. The Slayer looked up at him with tears in her eyes.

"Leave." She told him and then looked away, dragging herself up. She looked at the demon ready to charge again but Angelus stopped her. Something was wrong. If Buffy had attacked that demon it would have been dead by now.

"You're weak." He said, bewildered, watching her flinch.

"I" She began, looking at him fearfully and then back at the demon. She shoved Angelus away from her and started running like the wind out of the alley. Angelus growled in annoyance, deciding to follow her. After a few blocks he caught up with her, pulling her into the entrance of one of the buildings. She struggled fiercely, swearing at him and he shook her violently until she was crying, sliding down against the wall.

"Just do it. It doesn't matter!" She sobbed, staring up at him with red eyes.

"Do what?" Angelus hissed.

"Kill me. Why don't you do it?" Luna whispered and Angelus yanked her up roughly and slammed her up against the wall.

"I want some answers from you first, Slayer. Then I promise that I'll be happy to kill you." He growled angrily.

"What is there to say? I'm a Slayer; you're a vampire. I know about the prophecy, I know why you're here. So do it. I don't care."

Angelus punched her in the jaw, sending her head crashing into the wall. She let out a sob but didn't fight him.

"Damn you, bitch! This wasn't how I wanted it to be!" Angelus yelled into her face and she blinked away the tears.

"Do you honestly think that this is what I want? That I like my life? You have no idea how much I hate *every* *single* minute!" Luna said and started to laugh hysterically. Angelus looked at her darkly and took a solid grip of her upper arm.

"Where do you live?"

"You want to kill me in my own home? How very noble of you." Luna said bitterly and his grip hardened and she gasped in pain, telling him her address.

Part Two

Angelus shoved her inside the apartment and then locked the door behind them. Luna sat down on the couch in the living room and pulled her legs up under her. Angelus sat down in the only armchair in the room and stared at her. This was the woman who would become his destruction?

Luna lifted a hand to tug her black hair behind her ears and the vampire noticed that her skin was so pale that he could clearly see the blue veins under it.

"What are you waiting for?" she asked him, looking at him with her golden eyes.

"Be quiet. I'm the one asking the questions here." Angelus said coldly. He saw her roll her eyes and was over her in a second, his hand choking her.

Luna's small hands pulled at his arm trying to make him loose his painful grip. Angelus slowly released her and watched her gasp for air.

"What's wrong with you, Luna?" He asked her, cupping her pale cheek in his hand. His thumb stroked away the tears that ran from her golden eyes.

"Don't. Please." She begged, pushing his hand away.

"Don't touch you?" Angelus asked her, surprised of how tender his voice sounded. Luna nodded.

"People never touch me unless they want to hurt me!" She said, bitterly. "No one has ever showed me tenderness and I sure don't want it from you."

Angelus looked at her silently and then pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket and wiped away the black mascara that was smudging the skin below her eyes. He decided to remove her lipstick as well and then looked closely at her. She was only a child!

"How old are you, love?" He asked her, watching her smile sadly.

"Fifteen."

Angelus nodded, looking into her eyes. They seemed so much older. Eyes that had already seen too much.

"Where's your family?"

"Dead." Her voice cracked.

"Vampires?" Angelus asked, looking at her lower lip trembling. She nodded, bursting into tears and suddenly Angelus was holding a crying fifteen-year-old Slayer in his arms. He whispered soothing words to her, wondering what the hell he was doing. He usually didn't comfort his victims before he killed them, he wasn't *that* twisted. Okay, so maybe he was.

Angelus let his eyes roam over the room, noticing a framed photograph on a shelf. It showed a smiling family of five. Luna, probably at the age of nine, was sitting in the middle, holding a wild five-year-old boy in her lap. Her parents were standing proudly behind her and her younger sister was standing by her side.

Angelus rubbed the small of Luna's back and felt her freeze as she suddenly pulled away.

"Sorry." She mumbled. "Anything more you wanna know before the old slice and dice?"

"Actually I was going for the old draining routine." Angelus grinned, surprised to see a faint smile on her lips.

"How long have you been a Slayer?"

"A few months. I was trained a short time after my family di..died, six years ago. My Watcher got killed and then I was on my own." Luna told him.

"That doesn't explain your weakness!" Angelus said, watching her eyes glimmer in fresh tears.

"I'm dying." She spit out. "Cancer. So you see, I don't care."

The Slayer looked almost stubborn as she sat there, glaring at him. She was trying to look tough but Angelus could hear her heart beat in panic. The fear, hate and loneliness radiated from her.

Angelus kissed her lips, feeling her struggle against him. He growled, pinning her arms down along her sides. "What's wrong now? A half an hour ago you were begging me to fuck your brains out, little one."

"Fine." She said, lying perfectly still. "Do whatever you want to me, I don't care."

"Oh, I bet you'll *care*!" Angelus growled, lifting her up in his arms, carrying her over to the bedroom. He threw her down on the bed, watching her bounce. She was looking up at him with wide terrified eyes but she didn't try to escape. It enraged him.

Angelus took a firm grip of the front of her dress and pulled, ripping the dress in two. Luna whimpered, looking away. The vampire growled, tearing her black silky panties away and then forced her to sit up so he could unhook her black bra. He yanked the rags of the dress down her arms and then slapped her. Hard.

Luna screamed out in pain, falling back down on the bed covering her aching cheek.

"Do you care yet, Slayer?" Angelus asked her angrily and forced her legs apart, slamming two fingers inside her. She cried out in pain, writhing on the bed. Angelus smelled the faintest trace of blood and pulled out his fingers. They were glistening in her sweet juices mixed with blood. The vampire sucked the two digits into his mouth and smiled. Virginal blood. How very ironic.

Angelus let his leather jacket fall to the floor behind him and slid his blue silky shirt over his head, staring down at Luna. He could hear her heartbeat racing and smiled, releasing the fastenings of his leather pants.

Naked he came upon her, forcing her to look at him. "Do you want me to prepare you for my cock or do you just not care?"

When she didn't speak he forced his erected cock inside of her, tearing her inner walls. She cried silently under him while he rapidly thrust into her. Her muscles clamped tight over his cock, trying to stop the intrusion and he soon climaxed, his dead seed cooling her burning and torn insides.

When the vampire rolled off of her Luna turned her back against him, curling up into a ball. She was shivering. Sobbing silently.

Angelus watched her in silence for a few minutes and then pulled her to him. She winced when she looked up into his demonic face.

"Tell me you care." Angelus told her, letting his fangs brush against her neck. He could hear her panting, the wheels turning in her head.

When she still hadn't spoken he sunk his fangs into her flesh, tasting her blood. Luna screamed at the sudden pain.

"I care! I care! Please, I don't want to die." She begged, sobbing, and Angelus bit further into her. Not to kill her but to claim her as his. When he withdrew his fangs Luna stared up at him and touched the bleeding puncture marks on her neck.

"You, you claimed me. Why?"

Angelus shrugged. "You're supposed to be my destiny, might as well keep you around as my consort."

Luna glared at him. "You think you own me now? Well, I've got news for you, you fucking bastard. You don't!"

Angelus clamped a hand over her mouth. "Listen, Luna, you belong to me now and seeing how fragile you are it seems like I'm the one having the upper hand here. Prophecy be damned!"

"I will not" Luna started to object when he removed his hand but his dark eyes made her fall silent. Angelus pulled her back against his chest, spooning her, and pulled the quilt over them.

"Go to sleep." He told her and pulled an arm around her shaking form.

"Great, I'm sleeping with the enemy." He heard her sigh and smiled, kissing her shoulder. He had no idea what he would do with her. Why he even wanted her around at all. The prophecy kept on haunting him in his mind. He didn't understand it at all.

The Slayer lying close to him was so much weaker than him, how could she possibly become his downfall? She was like a pale nightblooming flower that could be easily crushed under his foot.

Angelus pulled Luna closer to him, burying his face into her soft hair and fell asleep.

Part Three

Angelus stirred in his sleep, waking. Disoriented, he looked around the room until he finally remembered where he was. He frowned when he noticed that he was alone in the dusk, bedroom. Why hadn't he woken when she had left his side? He was normally a light sleeper. A master vampire always needed to be prepared for any threat that could arise. Even while sleeping.

The vampire groggily pulled his hand over his face and sighed. The one time he slept peacefully just had to be in the arms of a Slayer. Hell, he was sick.

Chuckling he pulled the quilt aside and stood, walking out of the bedroom. He heard the splash of water and followed the sound, entering the bathroom. Luna was sitting in the bathtub, covered by a sea of shiny bubbles.

"Um, morning." She mumbled when she saw him leaning against the doorframe. He was so sure of himself even in his nakedness.

Angelus walked to her, gesturing for her to move forward so he could slide down behind her. Luna bit her lip, obeying him and gasped when she felt his strong body press against her back. The vampire pulled her to him so that her head rested against his chest as he started to cleanse her with a sponge.

"You're afraid of me." Angelus commented.

"Shouldn't I be after what you did last night?" Luna answered, shivering when he brought the sponge over her breast, the warm water flowing down her skin.

Angelus didn't answer her question but continued to worship her body, with the sponge. Luna tried to stifle her moans and felt his hand turn her head. She looked up into his dark eyes and gasped when he moved closer, kissing her softly.

"I could make love to you" He whispered.

"Why would you?" She whispered back, wetting her lips with her pink tongue.

"Because I want to." The words left his mouth before he had been able to reflect upon their meaning.

Luna looked down at his broad chest, watched as drops of water ran down the alabaster skin, and then raised her gaze to his eyes. "Is this some kind of mind game? Why play with me when you know I'm already going to die? Soon"

Angelus felt a pang in his chest and wondered if maybe he had drunken some bad blood last night. Maybe he was starting to get sickIt could happen, right?

"I just want to make love to you. Might be a kick." Angelus replied scratching his head in wonder. He had no idea what he was playing at himself. But he wasn't lying to her. He wanted this. Maybe even needed it, strange as it was.

Luna rolled her eyes at him. "They don't make vamps like you nowadays, I can tell you that."

"Why, ma'am, is that a compliment?" Angelus asked, smiling. Luna pondered that question for a moment. Had she just given the scourge of Europe a compliment?

Yes, she guessed she had.

"I must be out of my mind but yeah, I did." Luna groaned.

"Why thank you, Slayer." Angelus smirked, raising an eyebrow in amusement.

"You're welcome, vampire." Luna smiled. Their lips met once more. A burning heat building inside of them as they explored every pore of each other's bodies.

Water ran over the edge of the bathtub as their movements became more frantic and more yearning. Moans and growls echoed between the white walls of the bathroom as their hands searched to give release to the other's longing and lust.

Somehow they managed to get out of the bathtub and onto the floor. Luna laid down on her back on the wet rug, looking up at the vampire hovering over her. Staring into the endless depths of his dark eyes she panted slightly, hearing her franticly beating heart.

Angelus put his hands gently on the top of her knees and slowly pushed them apart. He proudly stroked the bruises he had left on her thighs last night and kissed her stomach, just below her navel, before he leaned over her and positioned his rigid cock at her wet, hot channel.

He licked his lips before penetrating her with one sharp thrust that sent her sliding along the floor. Growling, Angelus kissed her ferociously as he tried to make this coupling slow and tender. He felt as if he was going against his very nature. He wanted to pound her hard into the floor, making her scream in pain and ecstasy yet something held him back. Something made him control his wildest urges. Something alien to a demon like him. Something he couldn't touch

Angelus buried his fangs into her neck and drank of her blood. He could hear the clock of death beating for her. It sounded like a heartbeat slowing. He had heard it many times before.

Luna groaned, stroking his hair. The pain spreading from her neck was nauseating her. It numbed her mind.

Angelus felt her weaken and pulled back, a drop of blood running along one of his fangs until it fell down on her lower lip. Luna blinked, smelling the fragrance of copper. Her tongue darted out, swiping up the little drop. The vampire's eyes narrowed as he watched her taste her own blood. Could she taste her life?

"I'll never let you go, never let you go" Angelus whispered to her, as he once again sank his fangs into her. This time to end her life. And give her another.
