Bersanding another new Malay word for ya, is when a bride and groom pose together {usually to be pictured together} on 2 high chairs where the audience can see and enable the other tradition like merenjis {to wish happiness for the newlywed}] to be held.

Hana the new addition to the pop group Elite{i'll put up this group pic soon} married Adam in a very private ceremony late last year. Nevertheless to say, the pics above were taken @ the ceremony. when the news were first out, the couple just kept their mouth glued. but those reporters are one slick lot; arent they? after weeks of speculation, Hana then openly admitted that she's indeed married!

anyhow, the 2 pics on the second row are an example of Membatalkan Air Sembahyang ceremony. The ceremony is surely held after nikah ceremony when the groom will put on a wedding band on bride's ring finger and then the bride will kiss her husband's right hand. {or you can go for more intimate gesture like kissing, whatever}

let me get 1 thing straight {i got lots of questions on this one} these whole tradition things doesn't mean that the wife is under her husband's complete control but merely to show that a wife will respect and cherish her spouse as husband is the leader of a family. Moreover it's not like you going to kiss his feet or something, isn't?
