Title: Alternative Season 3 finale

Jen woke up early to help grams fix up some goodies for her to bring with her on her trip to the beach with Dawson, Andie and Jack. This she going to be great she said to herself, plus I need a major tan, I am whiter then white! I need to do something to my body, I do have a boyfriend to impress now. When her and grams finished she headed up to her bedroom to get her bathing suit, a cute two piece she had stolen from Chris Wolfs house after the all night excursion, they had like a thousand suits so she figured they wouldn't miss just one, so far they haven't! Stopping to think if she forgot something she said to herself, "Ok I've got my suit, towel, tanning oil, and food, Jack and Andie are taking care of the drinks and I think I'm ready" she heads down the stairs to her grams, "Bye grams" she says kissing her cheek, "I'll be back sometime this evening, don't worry and thanks for the food!!" Grams simple smiled at her sweet and beautiful granddaughter " Good bye Jennifer, and be careful, regardless if you want me to or not, I worry and I love you too, and remember you are safe with God watching down on you." "Oh grams! enough of God, OK? I'll be careful, I'll see you tonight and good-bye" she told her grandma as she quickly slid out the door over to Dawsons house, Good jacks car is not there, she said to herself, I'm not late. She didn't bother knocking on the door since Dawsons parents were out of town on their Honeymoon, she let herself in and ran up the stairs yelling for Dawson, "DAWSON?!!?" she screamed walking into his room where he was still fast asleep she went over to him and gently shook him, "Dawson, come on wake up, Jack and Andie will be here soon", he stirred slightly "Mom not now, I'll do it later" he mumbled then suddenly awakens, eyes still red from crying for the past few days, believe it or not he woke up and wasn't thinking about Joey. "Oh Jen, Hey!" he sleepily said, "I guess I slept longer then I wanted to, let me go get ready." he got up and went to his bathroom, Jen yelled after him "hey Dawson?", "Yeah?" he yells back over the running water he begins splashing on his face, "Don't forget to use a little Visne or something, you look high!" she said back, "Ha Ha Jen." he laughed.

Pacey awoke earlier today, he was still in shock that she had come and that she was here with him now, its like a really great dream that he never wants to wake from. He began fixing breakfast, just doughnuts and freshly squeezed OJ, just something to tie them over till the next port. He quietly ate a doughnut and drank some Juice as he watched the sun come up, God this is beautiful, he thought to himself, this is going to be a perfect summer. Joey woke up and lied in bed still thinking about Pacey and Dawson and going over the pros and cons of each boy, she suddenly felt sick, it's only been a day and now I'm sure I did the wrong thing, I can't stop thinking about Dawson, but yet again I didn't do the wrong thing, maybe I just wanted so much to get out of Capeside that I just did this to get a break from the pressures of everything. She got up and pulled her hair back and put on some clothes and went up to see Pacey. His back was facing her and she startled him as she came up behind him, "Hey Pace!" she smiled, "God what a beautiful morning this is, its perfect" he turned around smiling "Good morning MI lady" he replied "yes it is beautiful, I was just thinking that, Doughnuts and Juice Potter?". "Yeah" Joey replied "I am quite hungry and there's nothing like sugar coated cake for breakfast!". They sat in silence just taking in the beauty surrounding them, Pacey broke the silence, "You look sick Potter, is everything OK?" "Do you want the truth Pace or just a Lie?" she said. He looked confused, "Well Joe from the he way you look, I would like a lie but that wouldn't be fair so the truth." Joey turned white, she was sick, she had been gone for a day now and missed Dawson like crazy, she wondered if he missed her as much she replied un easily to Paceys question, "Well Pacey...I am sick...I've been gone for a day now and I am homesick, more then that, love sick," he interrupted her "Dawson, huh? I knew this was all to good to be true..So what do you want to do?" She stared off into the sea thinking while Pacey looked at her questioningly.

Jack and Dawson helped Jen and Andie unpack their stuff and found the perfect place to lay their stuff at on the beach, it reminded Dawson of the ruins, a small secluded place where he and Joey ran off to, to make out and talk, but it was nice. He made a pact with himself not to think about Joey and Pacey, it would upset Andie to much, she planned this out as somthing to keep our minds off of Joey and Pacey and so far she looked like she was having fun. He went over to the towels where Jack was rubbing tanning oil on Jens back, and sat down next to Andie, "great day for this, huh guys?" he said, "Great" Andie replied "It's perfect Dawson, I can't imagine being here with any but you three and...." Jen cut her short "None of the Pword or the Jword today, lets just have fun, the four of us can have fun without them, right?" She looked over to Jack who immediately replied "Sure can!" with that he picked up his sister, threw her over his shoulders and threw her into the water. Dawson and Jen laughed, Dawson looked over at Jen, smiled and got up to go after her, her smiled faded, she got up knowing what he was thinking, and ran to the water, she'd rather get herself wet, then have Dawson force her in. Dawson ran after the three of them and joined them in the water.
