Joey slid her finger under the bright red envelope and anxiously pulled the car out. The card had a typical Chritmas scene on it, a snow covered ground and a huge house lit up inside and out with lights, she carefully opened the card and read it.

Joey-

Happy Holidays!! I know I haven't written for years, but Mom and Dad begged me to come home this Christmas, I reluctantly agreed! So as I was picking out cards, the scene on this one reminded me of you for some odd reason. I just wanted to wish you the best for the Christmas season, and have a great New Year. Hope to see you soon, I miss ya.

She sat on her bed stunned. Out of all the times she decided to go to Capeside, it was the one time he would be there to. she got up and placed the card on her desk and finished packing, she hadn't gotten Dawson a gift, should she, she thought. Maybe me being there alone will be the greatest gift to him alone.

Dawson and Pacey grabbed their luggage and headed off the train, Dawson had planned on calling his father for a ride, so he figured Pacey could catch a ride with him. "Ah..Capeside" Pacey exclaimed as breaths of cold air shouted out his mouth

"Yeah" Dawson replied "Here we are and nothign has changed at all, still our little old Capeside!"

"Look" Pacey pointed to a car with a tall blonde and dark haired man climbing out of it "Is that Andie?"

"Yeah, it is" Dawson replied "And Jack"

Andie turned around and stood in disbelief, Dawson and Pacey were standing there popinting at her and Jack. Their dad was especially busy this holiday,as always so Jack and Andie came home on their own to spend a quiet and relaxing week home. Andie needed to stop by the store to grab some fixings for their dinner.

"Jack!" Andie exclaimed toher brother who was busy reading a magazine.

"What is it Andie?" he asked "can't you see I'm busy?"

"No I see that, it's just if you took your eyes away from that for one second you would see two very familar people, right over there watching us."

Jack looked up, then down, then up again as his eyes grew wide "Andie! It's Dawson and Pacey!"

"Well duh Jackers!" she laughed "Lets go say Hi."

They proceded to walk across the street to where Dawson and Pacey were. Smiles lit everyones faces as the exchanged hugs and handshakes. theyc aught up on things and had agreed to meet the next day at andie and JAcks place to have a little get together. Dawson was going to call over to Grams, to see if Jen had made it home. Then they would be together again, minus Joey. But nothing could bring her back to Capeside, nothing. She was stubborn.

Joey looked around the airport for Bessie, when there was no sign of her, she took a seat and began flipping through a magazine. for what seemed like hours she just sat there till she heard somone call her name. "Joey!?" Bessie yelled through the crowd.

Joey stood up, smiled brightly and ran and hugged Bessie.

"Bess!" She exclaimed "It's so good to see you, I've missed you. So how are Alex and Bohdie?"

"I've missed you too Joe!" Bess replied "Alex and Bohdie are fine, actually their at home waiting for Joey to arrive. Alex has got a surprise for you and Bohdie has cooked up a welcome home meal, just for you."

"I hope you didn't go through to much trouble to accomodate me Bess." Joey told her sister

"Don't worry about it Joe, having you home is enough to make us all happy for the next year. We love you Joe"

"I love you guys too." Joey smiled
