Back to Joey’s house

Andie: How dare you!

Jen: Andie, what’s wrong?

Andie: How could you?

Jen: What?

Andie: You hooked up with Pacey.

Jen: What? Oh that was a long time ago, Andie.

Andie: But how could you not tell me?

JEN: Because Andie they were nothing to tell we make out a couple of times but nothing serious. We didn’t even sleep together. It was nothing really; you have to believe me. You are one of the few friends that I have in this town and I thought that we really bonded over the summer and I would really hate to lose you as my friend so please forgive me. I’ll do anything.

Andie calms down a little

Andie: Okay. I’ve calmed down a little. I want to continue being your friend as well. I guess I was just a little angry at first but now I’m over it. I’m sorry, Jen for yelling at you.

Jen: It’s alright. I deserved it.

Andie: At least you didn’t sleep with him. Hello Joey.

JOEY: Hi Andie. Um, Andie can we talk?

Andie: Yeah sure.

JEN: UH. I should probably go. I’ve got a date tonight.

Smiles

JOEY: Okay Jen. I’ll see later then. Bye.

ANDIE: Bye, Jen.

Jen: Bye, your guys.

She leaves

Joey and Andie sit down on the couch

Joey: Can I get you anything?

Andie: No, I’m fine.

Joey: Alright, um. Well I guess you now know that Pacey and I broke-up uh?

Andie: Yeah, he came over and told me.

Joey: Look Andie, I want to know that there are no hard feelings between us. I so did not mean to hurt you. It’s just I had these feelings and I didn’t know what I was thinking and I thought that if I didn’t take that trip with Pacey I would never know. So I had to I just had to for myself. But in the process if trying to find exactly what I was looking for I hurt a lot of people with my mess and I am so sincerely sorry. So I beg you please say you forgive me.

Andie takes a deep breath

Andie: Joey I forgive you. In fact I don’t blame you. I mean I love him so much.

Joey gets a faraway look in her eyes

Joey: You’re not the only one

Andie: What I thought you said-

JOEY: NO! Don’t worry, I don’t love Pacey. I meant you’re not the only one who loves someone a whole lot. I am madly in love with Dawson Leery.

ANDIE: Oh Joey that’s wonderful. Have you told him?

JOEY: No I actually went over to his house but I

noticed that he had taken down the latter so I guess that meant that he doesn’t love me anymore.

Andie: Oh Joey you couldn’t be more wrong. Dawson loves you so much. You should have seen him the day that you and Pacey left.

Joey looks sad and puts her down.

Joey: I really hurt him didn’t I.

Andie: Yeah it looked like he had been crying. I know that all summer he was thinking about you. It was all over his face. So please go to him and tell him you love him.

Joey: Thanks. I will. I’m going to tell him how I feel. You really think it’s a good idea?

ANDIE: It’s the best idea. But one question.

Joey: Yeah?

Andie: Did you sleep with Pacey?

JOEY: What? No of course not. You nothing to worry about. We didn’t sleep together and we never will either.

Andie: Okay. Just making sure. Well I’m going to see Pacey. I’ll see you later. Good luck with Dawson.

Joey: Thanks, Andie. I’ll see you later.

Andie leaves
