Anubis is the leader of the Dark Warlords. He often gets over confident and because of that he's been torched by Ryo and tortured by Talpa. The other warlord envy him, and all four seem to be in constant competition. And if you watch them you'll see that non of them are really friends. During the first season Rowen uses his Heaven Shockwave and breaks Anubis' helmet revieling that he is indeed not a demon, but a human being. (the all to famous, "you your a man" comment). After the first season, he becomes a follower of the Anceint one and wields the Ancient's Magic Staff.
