A band of robbers have been plaguing the city, hitting everything from jewelry stores to banks and leaving no trace behind. When the group's wheelman is shot and killed during the latest robbery, Chase and August learn that he was an undercover cop. They know there will be need for a replacement, so Chase goes undercover as an ex-con, hoping to hook up with the group as their new getaway driver. But before they can take the gang down, they have to uncover the identity of the elusive man who's calling the shots.
