After the death of two firefighters, Chase and August fear they may have a serial killer on their hands, so the detectives go undercover to catch the psycho responsible. With cooperation from the firehouse the victims were stationed at, the detectives are first put through an abbreviated firefighter training program. Meanwhile, James has to temporarily move in with Det. Richardson while his apartment is being fumigated, and the two discover just how opposite they really are.
