Chase, August and James are on their way back from New York, having picked up a criminal who fled from Los Angeles, when their plane crashes, leaving them stranded in an isolated, snow-covered mountain range. But the detectives soon discover the man's cohorts arranged the crash to free him, and they've come to pick him up. With no weapons and no way of calling for help, it becomes a fight for survival as the detectives are stalked through the treacherous terrain by a group of killers intent on keeping them silent.
