Well, "Riding The Edge" was a quality ep of PRLR. The only parts I didn't like were a few scenes with Kelsey and Nancy.
The opening was pretty good. I especially loved the part when Kelsey went under the truck. That was pretty cool. But the acting during this part was not that good. Sasha should get better soon, though. And I doubt they'll keep the Nancy character around like GoGoV.
The Fight Scenes were very well done. Of course, most of them were Sentai, but they were excellent nontheless. I especially liked the scene that introduced us to Whirlin', when he fell from the sky. That music was particularly creepy. It gave the whole scene a creepy feel. I liked it. I also liked the ensuing fights.
The Rescue scene was pretty good. I loved the zord footage. LR seems to be doing very well with zord footage and all. I especially liked the scenes with MedRescue taking in all of the cars and the transformation sequence. Very Enjoyable.
What I didn't like was mostly Kelsey and Nancy. Kelsey's hot, and she's an interesting character, but so far I find myself being slightly bothered by her constant perkiness. And Nancy just seemed...well, fake. I'm sure Kelsey will improve, though. Most likely in the second season. That's when most cast members tend to improve.
The Zord fight rocked! What else can I say? I loved the fakeout when they thought they had destroyed Whirlin', but he can back. Why didn't it destroy him if it destroyed Magmavore? You don't really think Magmavore's dead, do you? ;)
A Very good ep with but a few lowpoints. Next hope next week's is just as good, if not better! :)
