The next day Simone arrived in Jamaica. Parker and Jarod showed her around the house.
"Now are you sure you want to keep the kids?"
"Yes. Don't worry. Everything will be fine."
"It's you we are worried about, not the kids."
"I'll be fine."
Parker noticed when Debbie came in crying and sat down on the couch.
"I'll be back. Jarod can you finish here."
Before he could answer Parker was sitting beside Debbie.
"What's wrong?"
"Daddy."
"What about him?"
"He wants me to bond more with Janie."
"I thought you liked her."
"I do but I don't want to bond with her every single day. She is coming in tomorrow and he wants me to go with him to meet her."
"What's wrong with that?"
"There is something I don't like about her."
"Why do you say that?"
"I don't know but I can feel it."
"It's a feeling?"
"Yeah."
"I understand."
Debbie looked over at Parker, the tears were beginning to dry up.
"Thanks," Debbie whispered.
"You're welcome."
Broots came to the door.
"Is Debbie over here?"
"Yeah."
Parker opened the door wider to let him in.
"Debbie, I thought I told you to go to your room."
"I did."
"Broots, can I talk to you for a minute?"
"Yeah," he answered as he sat down in the chair.
Parker looked over at Debbie. "Catherine is up in her room if you want to see her."
"Okay," she wiped her face and got up.
"Broots, I understand you wanting Debbie and Janie to spent time together but are you sure either of them are ready for this."
"Parker, I appreciate the help you have given with Debbie but she is my daughter."
"I know that Broots, that is why I care about her so much. Why don't you let her go with us to Mexico and when she gets back she can spend some time with Janie?"
"I'm not sure."
"Come on Broots. It would do you both some good to let her go."
"Parker..."
"Broots!" she stated looking over at him.
"Okay, she can go but she has to be willing to spend time with Janie when she returns."
"She will. I promise. I will talk to her."
"Tell her to be home in an hour." Broots got up from his seat and went to the door. "An hour."
"Okay. Thanks."
"Yeah, yeah." He walked out.

The jet landed in Mexico City. Jarod took Catherine's hand as they headed for their luggage.
"Daddy."
"Yes?" He looked down at his daughter.
"What are we doing here again?"
Parker pointed at a sign.
"We'll wait here." Jarod answered as his wife walked on.
He kneeled down. "Well, you see it is our wedding anniversary and your mom and I wanted to bring you."
"Why?" she asked before he could finish.
"Well, you have been asking a lot of questions about us and we wanted to show you where we were married."
"Oh."
Parker came back.
"Jarod."
"Yeah."
"Our luggage is at a different gate."
"Okay, do you want to stay here and let me go find it or we all can head that way?"
"We can all head that way."
After retrieving their things, they finally made it to the hotel.
"I'll get the room," Jarod announced.
Jarod came back shortly with the key in his hand.
"You are gonna like this," he said as he approached Parker.
"Why?"
"You'll see." He picked up a suitcase.
As he approached the door, "Does any of this look familiar?"
Parker looked at the door number 307. "This was my room." She smiled.
"Yep." Jarod opened the door.
Parker quickly went to the window, pulled the curtains opened, and looked out. She took a deep breath and sighed.
"Catherine, come here."
"What is it?"
"Come here."
Catherine stood beside her mother. "What is it?"
"Look out here. See that beautiful city."
"Yeah."
Parker didn't answer. She just stood there staring out the window for a moment. She looked down at her daughter. "Here in this very room is where I fell in love with your father."
"I thought you said you fell in love with him a long time ago."
"Well...I did. Let's just say I fell in love with him all over again."
Jarod walked over to his wife, wrapped his arms around her. Catherine walked back over to the bed and sat down beside Debbie.
"Look at them," Debbie said. "I wished my father could find happiness like that."
"He will." Catherine put her hand on her shoulder.
I'll admit I could feel it
The first time that we touched
And the look in your eyes
Said you felt it as much
Parker looked into Jarod's eyes. Then laid her head back against his shoulder love you."
"I love you too. Let's go out."
"Where are we going?" Catherine asked.
"To look around. I want to show where your mother and I got married."
They left the room and went walking around in the street. They came to the church. Jarod took Catherine's hand as the walked in.
"Look over there," he said as he bent down to eye level. "That is where your mother and I stood."
"Was Uncle Broots and Uncle Sydney here?"
"Yeah, those were good times," Parker replied as she walked passed them and headed toward the front of the church.
Jarod looked at her when she commented on that.
"Good times," he stated as she followed Parker to the front of the church. "Well, Sydney was here then."
"That's better."
She looked over at him. "Well, it wasn't definitely good times back then. I was still hiding from the Centre."
But I'm a man Who falls too easily
It's best that you know
Where you stand with me
Catherine and Debbie looked around the old church as Jarod and Parker stood there talking.
"What would you say right now if we had it all to do over again?" he asked her as he took her hand.
"Well, I'd look into your eyes and tell you that I love you."
"Is that all?"
"No."
I will give you my heart
Faithful and true
And all the love it can hold
That's all I can do
"Then, what?"
She walked around never letting go of his hand.
"I would tell you that we would make it no matter what my father and the Centre would do to us. Because I love you, Jarod Russell."
"I love you too."
"What would you say?"
"Well...."
'Cause I've thought about
How long I'll love you
And it's only fair that you know
Forever's as far as I'll go
"Well, what?" She moved closer to him.
"I would tell you that I loved you the first time I saw you and I'll love you forever."
"Is that all?" she whispered in his ear.
"Yeah...no...I would also tell you that I want us to grow old together. Grow old along with me. The best is yet to be. The last of life, for which the first was made."
When there's age around my eyes
And gray in your hair
And it only takes a touch
To recall the love we've shared
"Well, you know what?"
"What?"
"We are because I'm not going to let you go easily."
"Good. But I can remember a time when you were going to let me go so easily."
"Let's forget about that. It's in the past." She kissed his lips."So, does this mean our vows are over?"
"I don't know. Do you have anything else to add?"
"I can't think of anything else right now." She wrapped her arms around his neck and he kissed her lips. A priest came out to where they were standing.
"Can I help you?"
They looked at each other and back at him.
"No, I think we have already said what we wanted to say to each other."
"Well, okay. If you need anything I will be over there."
The man walked over to the front pew and bent down to his knees and began praying.
Jarod placed his arms back around his wife and whispered, "I'm glad I have you. I won't take you for granted. You'll know my love is true."
'Cause each night in your arms
'Cause I've thought about
"I'm glad you have me too." He looked at her oddly and she laughed.
"I'm kidding. I'm glad I have you too."
Catherine and Debbie came up to them. "Can we go outside now?"
"Yes," Jarod answered as he and Parker walked out arm in arm, smiling
happily, love shining in their eyes.
Forever's as far as I'll go...
The End!
I'll whisper to you
I will give you my heart
Faithful and true
And all the love it can hold
That's all I can do
How long I'll love you
And it's only fair that you know
Forever's as far as I'll go
