Sydney walks into Mr. Parker's office carrying an urn.
"What's this?" Mr. Parker asked.
"Your daughter." Sydney answered.
"Yeah, you see that little trip we took to Florida got her
killed. Didn't Lyle tell you?"
"I haven't seen Lyle."
"I brought her home. I thought you would want to bury her by
her mother."
"Thanks, Sydney. I don't know what to say. Are you sure this
is her?"
"Yeah, I made the arrangements myself. I will leave you
alone." Sydney turns to walk away. "Oh I almost forgot." He
walks back over to the desk and pulls out her ring from his
pocket. He lays it down on the desk. "I thought you might
want this." Sydney turns back to leave again.
"Sydney, wait."
He turns to face Mr.Parker.
"What about my granddaughter?"
"She should be with her father. Don't you think."
"I want to raise her."
Sydney walks closer to him and looks him in the face. "You
are the one that left her without a mother just Miss Parker
was left without one. You raised her daughter don't you think
he should raise his." He could see Mr. Parker starting to
tear up. Sydney turns back around and leaves.
***********
Sydney walks slowly to his office. It wasn't going to be the
same without Parker. Broots walks in.
"Hey, how did it go?"
"How do you think, Broots? I just had to tell a man his
daughter was dead."
Angelo was listening through the vents. A tear started to
fall from his eye. Sydney hears a sobbing noise. He turns to
see where it is coming from. Angelo moves quickly.
"Angelo, wait." Sydney yells.
He and Broots finds Angelo in his room by himself. "Angelo,
Miss Parker is okay. She's not really dead."
Angelo looks up at Sydney and smiles.
"We are going to leave this place and never come back."
Broots said.
"Mr. Parker had a hit out on her. Jarod faked her death. She
is really fine. I promise." Sydney assured him.
Angelo gets up and grabs some things. "What is he doing, Syd.?"
"He wants to come with us."
"Angelo, we can't leave yet but when we do I promise you can
go with us." Sydney says.
"How are we going to do that?"
"You worry too much Broots."

Lyle walks into Mr. Parker's office.
"Why didn't you tell me my daughter was dead?"
"I thought that is what you wanted."
"I didn't want her dead. I wanted Jarod."
"I'm sorry. It was accident. Jarod ruined everything. He wasn't
suppose to be there."
"If you would have none your job, this wouldn't have happened."
"I was just following orders." Lyle said as he sat down in
a chair.
"Who's orders? I didn't tell you to kill her."
"Raines did. He said you wanted me to get rid of her."
"Not dead!" Mr. Parker yells out. "Now get out of here." Mr.
Parker says as he turns his back to Lyle.
Lyle walks out and tears start flowing from Mr. Parker's face.
**********
A few days have past, Sydney walks into Mr. Parker's office
again.
"I want to quit."
"Why?"
"I can't stay here anymore."
"Why?"
"In case you haven't noticed Miss Parker was like a daughter
to me. Now that she is gone I can't stay here. It just isn't
the same."
Broots knocks on the door. "Come in." Mr.Parker answers.
"Oh, hi Sydney. I didn't know you were in here. I can come
back later."
"No, spit it out son." Mr. Parker says.
"I..I" Broots tries to speak.
"You want to leave also." Mr. Parker says.
"Yeah."
"Fine both of you are free to leave. Go. Get out." Mr.
Parker says.
Sydney and Broots walk out.
"That was easy." Broots says.
"Yeah, to easy." Sydney says. "We will leave late tonight. I
have a feeling this won't be an easy trip. Go home and get
ready. I will meet you at 11:00."
Broots leaves. Sydney finishes up some business there before
leaving.
**********
11:00 pm Sydney and Angelo meets Broots and Debbie. "Where to
now?" Broots asked.
"Well, several places before we get to Jamaica." Sydney says.
Broots gets out his lap top. He causes a deversion to several
places before they get on there way. They head out one way
and the computer has them another way.
"This should keep them business for a while. Hopefully we
will be in Jamaica before they figure this out." Broots says
as he closes his lap top.
They get on a plane and head out in search of their new life
away from the Centre.
