Disclaimer: I only borrowed Miss Parker, Jarod, and the others for a while. I promise to bring them back. Please don't sue me.

Author's note: I want to thank Terri, my beta reader, for helping me. I know it may seem like I forgot to mention it but I really do appreciate it. Thanks.

There was a knock at the door. Jarod saw Debbie through the peep hole and let her in.

"Hello, Jarod. Is Melissa here?"

"Yeah, she's in the bedroom. You can go up there."

"Okay, thanks." She made her way to where Parker was.

It was a few weeks until their ten year anniversary so Parker was sitting on the bed going through some old photos and letters that Jarod had given her.

Knocking lightly on the door, "May I come in?" Debbie asked as the door slightly opened.

Parker looked. "Sure. I haven't see you in a while. What have you been up to?"

"Well, daddy wants me to spend some time with Janie."

"Oh," she answered as she continued looking at the papers and pictures.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm looking through the things Jarod gave me."

"Oh, where was this taken?" Debbie picked up a photo.

"That was taken in Mexico, on our wedding day," Parker sighed.

Debbie sat there for a moment. She started to say something and then stopped.

"What's wrong?" Parker asked.

"Who said anything was wrong?"

"I can tell you want to talk. What's bothering you?"

"Remember when you talked to me a while back about boys."

"Yeah," Parker answered as she looked up at Debbie.

"Well...well..."

"What?"

"Tell me about love, marriage, and sex."

"What?"

"Well, I know about sex but..."

"Shouldn't you be having this talk with your father?"

"Come on, Melissa. Do you think daddy would be able to handle this conversation?"

"Well, you have a point."

"What do you want to know exactly?"

"How did you know when it was right? I mean to have sex."

"Debbie, please don't tell me you are thinking about it."

"No!" she quickly spit out.

"Then why are you asking?"

"Well, you know daddy has been dating Janie for a while and just seeing them is...gross. You know what I mean."

"Are you sure this is about them and not anything to do with you and the guy you have been seeing?"

"Yes, Melissa. I promise. Besides we aren't seeing each other any more."

"I'm sorry to hear that. He seemed like a nice guy."

"Well...that's over with. I'm moving on."

Parker looked at Debbie who was staring at the picture on the bed.

"How did you know Jarod was the one?"

"What do you mean 'the one'?"

"The one to marry."

"It is a long difficult story."

"Was he your first?"

"No but I wished he was," Parker said softly. She looked over at Debbie and sighed. "Come on. Let's go down stairs."

They got up and went down the stairs. Parker walked over to the table by the chair to find a note with a satin red rose lying on the table. She picked the note and read....

Meet me at Blue Mountains at 6:00.
Jarod

"I wonder what he is up to," she whispered to herself.

Debbie noticed Parker's face expression. "I'd better get going." She quickly left.

Parker didn't even know Debbie slipped out. She picked up the rose and ran it over her lips.

Parker arrived at the Blue Mountain and found Jarod sitting under a tree. She cleared her throat and Jarod turned to see his wife standing there.

"Wow," he said, astonished.

"I guess I over dressed," she said as she looked down at her short slender dress.

"No." He got up from the blanket, walked over to her. He took her hand and lead her back to the blanket. As they sat down and Jarod moved closer to her, smelling the Channel she was wearing. "You smell really good," he commented.

"Jarod."

"Yeah." He looked up at her trying to concentrate on her words not her body.

"What are we doing here?"

"What do you mean?"

"I know you called me out here for something. What was it?"

"I just thought we could spend a few hours alone. Is that okay?"

"Yes." She glazed into his eyes. Moving closer to him, she kissed his lips. Pulling back, "I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"I'd shouldn't have done that. You brought me here to talk. Now, what did you want?"

"Oh yes, you should have." He kissed her again, this time taking control of the kiss.

He pushed her down on the blanket, with her arms wrapped around his neck, "I love you."

"I love you too," he whispered into her ear as he kissed her neck.

He rolled over and laid down beside her. Both looking up at stars, Jarod slipped his hand in his pocket and pulled out a ring box.

"Melissa," he said as he sat up.

"Yes?" She followed his move.

"You know I love you...."

"Yes."

Jarod placed his fingers over her lips. "Shh...let me finish."

She sat there listening.

"We will soon be married ten years and I have loved you a lot longer than that. We have three beautiful children that I love and adore very much."

"Jarod, what are you saying?"

"Melissa, will you marry me again?" He opened the ring box.

Parker looked at the ring attachments in the box. They were two gold bands with five diamonds on both. "What...?"

"They attach to your wedding set," Jarod said as he took one from the box and placed it on her finger.

She looked down at her finger. "Yes," she whispered.

"We can do this wedding ceremony anywhere you want. I thought we should go back to Mexico, though."

"I don't care how we do the ceremony as long as I can renew my vows to you."

Jarod watched her a moment before she continued.

"I want us to take Catherine. She has been asking a lot of questions lately."

"I think that is a good idea," Jarod responded without removing his eyes from her.

"What about Sydney and Kyle? What will we do with them? Should we take them or see if Broots will watch them?" The questions kept rolling from her lips as Jarod moved closer to her.

"Shh.," he whispered as he ran his fingertips over her soft lips.

"What?"

He reached over and stole a kiss. Parker pulled away briefly.

"Jarod."

"What?" he answered softly as he kissed her neck and slowly moved south.

"Mmm...nothing," she replied as he continued kissing her.

After what seemed like an hour, Parker pulled away from Jarod to where their eyes met.

"Jarod...." Her fingers ran across his jaw line and down his neck.

"Yes?"

"Let's go home."

"But I..."

"Home," she smiled.

He kissed her again. Then looked into her eyes. "Okay." He gathered up the blanket.

When they arrived at home, everything was quite.

"It seems the kids are asleep."

"That's good." She smiled as she took his hand and lead him up the stairs.

Parker removed the clip from her hair and sat it down on the night stand. Jarod slipped his arms around her waist, kissing her neck.

"Let's finish what we started before you wanted to come home."

She turned to face him, placing her arms around his neck, their lips touching.

"I'm all for it." She pulled him down onto the bed with her, unbuttoning his shirt to reveal his bare, muscular chest. She slipped the shirt off his back and ran her fingers up to his neck and through his hair. She let out a moan as he kissed down her neck and to the center of her breast.

"Jarod, make love to me."

He didn't say a word, just continued kissing her brown slender flesh. Her hands hurried down his body to the top of his waist band. She unzipped his pants and slipped her hands down into his boxers. Feeling his flesh harden in her hands, she then removed them to his buttocks. Squeezing gently before they made their way back up the middle of his back and to his shoulders. Her nails dug in as he kissed her neck.

"I love you, Melissa," was finally heard as he made his way back to her ear.

Looking her in the eyes, she answered, "I love you too."

His hands ran up her dress and quickly removed it. It hit the floor, laying beside his shirt. She laid there not moving just watching his eyes as he moved up her leg and to her inner thigh. He kissed top of her hair line before removing her black lace panties. He ran his tongue up her stomach as he hands continued moving south. He stopped at her left breast. Taking her nipple into his mouth and sucking lightly. Parker grabbed the comforter with her fist and pulling hard.

Jarod laid his body all the way onto hers and kissed her lips sucking her top lip softly as she sucked his bottom one. Taking her hands into his he squeezed gently. She could feel the hardness of him between her legs. Wanting so much to feel him inside her.

She nibbled on his ear, "Now," she whispered.

Jarod took her into his arms and didn't let go. Her body met his match for match.

After taking his sweet time making love to his wife, he took her into his arms and held her tightly as they fell asleep.

**********

The next morning, Parker woke alone. Turning over to see the alarm clock, she heard a a soft cry coming from the other side of the bed. Rolling over to see Sydney standing there rubbing her eyes.

"Mommy," she cried. Sydney climbed in and went to her mother's side. Parker held her close.

"What's wrong?" She looked down into her brown eyes.

"I don't feel good," she answered as the tears fell from her eyes.

"Where does it hurt?"

"My tummy."

"Oh let mommy see." She touched her stomach. "Does it hurt here?"

She shook her head yes.

"Stay here and let me get something for you." Parker went into the bathroom and returned with something pink.

Sydney looked up at her mother. "What is that?"

"PeptoBismol. It will make you tummy feel better." She handed it to her.

Sydney took it. "Yuk."

Parker carried Sydney down the stairs and to the kitchen to join the rest of the family.

"Morning," Jarod greeted.

"Morning. What's going on in here?"

"Daddy's cooking," Kyle said as he walked passed his mom with his plate filled with pancakes.

"You're not going to eat all that," Parker responded as she sat Sydney down and walked to over to the cabinet, grabbed a glass and filled it with milk.

"Am too." He poured syrup on his pancakes.

"You're going to make a mess. Would you like some help?"

"I'm not either. I'm a big boy," he barely said before syrup hit the table.

"What did I tell you?"

"Mom!"

"Melissa leave him alone. I will clean it up."

"I'm sorry. I guess I not feeling well since I woke alone this morning."

"It's okay." Jarod walked over to her, sat a plate down in front of her. "He's sounds just like his mother," he whispered as he turned to walk away.

Parker gave him a look as she picked up a fork.

After breakfast was finished, Parker headed up stairs to take a shower. Entering the bedroom, the phone rang.

"I'll get it," she yelled. "Hello." "Yeah."

"Hey, what's going on?"

"I need another favor."

"I can't make it down for a while."

"That's not what I wanted. I need to know if I can come there for a while."

"Yeah...sure. Is there something wrong?"

"I just need to get away."

"Your timing couldn't be more perfect."

"What do you mean?"

"Jarod and I are going to celebrate our tenth year wedding anniversary so, the house will be yours for a few days."

"What are you going to do with the kids?"

"Well, we are going to take Catherine but I'm not sure what we are going to do with the other two. We haven't decided."

"I'll watch them for you."

"Simone, you don't want to do that."

"Really, I don't mind."

"Yeah, but...."

"No buts. I would like to."

"You don't know what you are asking."

"Melissa...."

"Yeah."

"Please."

"Simone, I thought you wanted to get away from things."

"This will be a change."

"I'll say."

"When are you leaving?"

"In a couple of days."

"Okay, I'll be there tomorrow. Is that okay?"

"Sure. We'll be expecting you."

Parker hung up the phone and headed for the shower. She wrapped a towel around her and one around her hair. Opening the bathroom door, she saw Jarod laying across the bed.

"You scared me."

"I'm sorry. I just wanted to hide for a few minutes."

Parker laughed.

"What?"

"Speaking of hiding out, Simone called."

"Yeah. What did she want?"

"She wanted to get away and wanted to know if she could come here for a few days."

"What did you tell her?"

"She will be here tomorrow."

"Did you tell her we are leaving?"

"Yes, I did and that is the funny part."

Jarod looked at his wife.

"She wanted to keep Kyle and Sydney."

"What did you tell her?"

"Well...."

"Honey, you didn't."

"I tried to talk her out of it."

"Melissa."

"Well Jarod, what did you want me to do?"

"I don't know." He got up and headed for the door.
