Summary: Parker wants to hire someone to take over the Centre so she can return back Jamiaca. I guess you already know by reading the disclaimer. I borrowed Simone from my crossover series. These stories not really related but if you want to know more about Simone then read the series.

Parker comes home early one afternoon.

"Jarod." she yells as she comes in the house.

"Yeah." he yells as he comes around the corner.

"Jarod, I have to leave on business. I hope to be back in a few days." she says as she throws some clothes in a bag.

"Wait..where are you going?"

"Jarod, you know how I said I quit the Centre so we could return to Jamaica."

"Yes."

"Well, I found a replacement for me. I have to meet with her and hopefully, get things moving so we can leave soon."

"Okay, but where are you going?"

"Remember Simone."

"Oh, yes. How could I forget her?" he said with a smile.

"Wipe that smile off of your face." she said glaring over at him. "I think she would be an excellence choice. Besides I think she can handle Lyle and Brigette. What do you think?" She finished packing and gave him a kiss. "I love you and I will be home soon."

"Please be careful." he said as he watched her walk to the door.

"I will. I will miss you."

"I will miss you too." he answered. He followed her out and grabbed her arm. She turned back to look at him. He gave her a long passionate kiss. "I love you." he whispered as he let go of her.

"I love you too. Tell the kids I will be home soon. Oh and I love them."

"Call me when you get there so I won't worry."

"I will. I promise." she said as she got in the car. He watched her drive away. "I will miss you." he said softly as she drove out of sight.

Parker landed in Arizona. She stepped off the Centre jet and got in the car that was waiting for her. The driver took her to a building that looked simaular to the Centre. When they got there she stepped out and Simone was waiting on her.

"Parker." she said as she walked up to her.

"Simone." she replied.

"I was surprised to hear from you since the last time I saw you." Simone said they walked toward her office.

"I know it was bad."

"What can I do for you?" Simone asked wondering why Parker came all this way to meet with her. "Don't tell me you need my help to bring in your wonder boy."

"No, Simone. I afraid not. I have come to offer you a job."

"A job. What kind of job?" she asked as she sat down at her desk.

"My job." Parker said as she looked over at her.

"Your job." she said confused. "I don't understand. You got rid of me the last time I tried to take your job."

"I know but I have changed. For the better." she added quickly.

"I still don't understand." Simone said looking over at her.

"Well, I am leaving. I am going back to my home. My new home with my family."

"You have a family now." she replied in shock.

"Yes. But before I go into that I have a few rules that go with the job."

"I knew it."

"Wait. Just hear me out. If you don't like it you don't have to take the job."

"Okay. I'm listening."

Parker went back to her rules. "First off the chase for Jarod is over. Second, I have a brother that will give you some problems but I have seen you handle yourself. I know you can take care of him. Next thing is, well...I want you to stay as long as you want but if one of my children want to take over when they are of age. I would like you to help them in anyway they want. You may have to step down. I not saying you have to. Only when they are ready to handle the job."

"That doesn't sound too bad."

"One more thing."

"What else?"

"The Centre is not the same as it was when you were there."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, children come to learn. They come with their families and leave with their families. There is no secret experiments going on. At least, none that I am aware of. Lyle will try to pull some over on you. You will have to watch him."

"May I ask a few questions?"

"Sure. What would you like to know?"

"Lyle, he is your brother."

"Yes."

"Why isn't he getting control of the Centre?"

"Well, because when my father died he left it to me. I am not leaving my work in the hands of that moron. He will screw it up."

"I have one more question."

"Okay, what is it?"

"The chase for Jarod. You said it is over. Why?"

"Well, I caught him."

"You did. Well, I glad you finally got him."

"Well, I didn't actually catch him. He is my husband. We have three beautiful children together."

"You had three kids. You don't look like it."

"Well, thanks." Parker said with a smile. "Speaking of Jarod. Can I use your phone?"

"Yes. You may."

Parker walked over to her desk. She picked up the phone and starting dailing. "Hello." was heard on the other end.

"Jarod."

"Melissa. I see you made it there. How are things going?"

"Fine. I will call you when I get to the hotel. I just wanted to call you before you called everywhere looking for me."

"Okay. I love you. Please be careful. The kids and I are waiting for you to return. Hang on a minute." Catherine took the phone. "Mommy."

"What honey?"

"When will you be home?"

"Soon."

"How soon?"

"Hopefully, tomorrow."

"Okay, I love you."

"I love you too. Be good for your father and watch after your brother and sister."

"Okay, mommy. Hurry back."

"I will. Now let me talk to your father."

"Yeah." he says as he gets the phone back.

"I love you. Talk to you later tonight."

"Okay. Bye." he hangs up the phone.

Parker hung up the phone. "Is there anything else I can do for you." she says as she looks over at Simone.

"Only if you can talk more over dinner tonight."

"Okay. What time?"

"Say 7:00."

"That sounds fine to me."

"I will have car pick you and bring you to the restaurant. Oh, Parker."

"Yes."

"What do I call you now?"

"Parker is fine."

"Let me walk you out." Simone says as they head down the hall way. Parker walks over to the car to get in when Simone says, "You know, I knew you would catch him someday."

Parker looked at Simone. "Jarod. I knew you would end up with him." Simone says.

"Why does everybody keep saying that?"

"Well, when someone else got close to him you could see to fire burning in you. You would get mad. If we talked about him finding happiness you were pissed. You wanted him for yourself."

Parker didn't know what to say. She stood there a minute. Then, Simone said, "I'm glad you got him." She smiled at Parker. Parker got in the car and left.

Parker met Simone at the restaurant. They talked over dinner. As the evening was coming to a close, Simone asked, "Are you going to keep any ties to the Centre after you leave?"

"I haven't really thought about."

"You know Parker, you should think about staying on as Head Chairman, that way no finally big decision can go through without your say."

"Parker thought about it and said, "I guess your right. I will need some time to think it over. So, does this mean you will take the job?"

"I tell you what, why don't I come down in a few days and we can talk some more? I would really like to check things out again. What do you say about that?"

"Sure. When can I expect you?"

"In a couple of days. I need to finish up some things here before I can come to Delaware."

"That sounds good." Parker looks down at her watch and says, "I better get going. I promised my kids I would talk to them before they go to bed."

"Yeah. It's getting late. I will see you tomorrow before you leave heading back."

"Okay." Parker and Simone get up from the table. Parker gets back into the car that Simone had waiting for her. The driver takes her back to her hotel. Parker returns to her room.

"Hello." Jarod says on the other end.

"Hey." she says.

"Hey, you did call."

"I told you I would. Have are the kids doing?"

"Fine." he answers.

"I miss you." she says.

"I miss you too. I won't be able to sleep tonight."

"Why?" she asked.

"Because you are not beside me." he replies softly.

"Me either. But I will be home tomorrow."

"Good. When?"

"After I meet with Simone one more time."

"So this means she is taking the job."

"I don't know but I think she will."

"Well, I would let you talk to Catherine but she just fell asleep."

"I promised her I would call before but she went to bed. Tell her I am sorry and I will see her tomorrow."

"I will."

"Well, I better go. I will see you tomorrow."

"Okay. I love you."

"I love you too." she answers.

The next morning Parker boarded the Centre jet to return home. Simone told her she would be out in a few days. The jet landed and Broots was waiting for her.

"Parker, I have something you might want to see."

"Not now, Broots. I want to get home to my family."

"But, Parker. I think you will want to see this." he said. He handed her a paper.

She looked over it and said, "My father owned Jarod."

"Yes."

"Where did you find this?" she asked.

"Somewhere I wasn't supposed to be. Look at this part down here."

"If I am reading this right I now own him." she said pausing.

"That's correct. According to this, who got control of the Centre after his death also gets control of Jarod."

Parker smiled. "Broots, I could hug you."

He backed up. She walked off. "Parker, wait. There is something else."

"What Broots?"

"Look at this one." He handed her another paper.

Parker looked at it and smiled. "Daddy." she said softly. "Thanks Broots. I'm going home now. I will talk to you later." She walked off. She got into her car and drove home.

"Jarod." she said as she came through the door.

Jarod grabbed her. "You made it home."

"Yes, and I have some good news."

"Simone is going to come here."

"Well, I don't know for sure but I have a feeling she is. But that is not what I want to tell you."

"What?"

"Look at this paper." She handed it to him.

"You own me. Well, I knew you had me but own me?" he said smiling.

"Yes. So, do you know what that means?"

"Yeah, but I am already free."

"I know but I can make it legal. Look at this one."

"What is this?"

"Well, according to this, my father was going to set you free. But didn't finish the paperwork."

"How do you know?"

"Look at the date."

"It is dated when I supposedly died. I guess he was going to set you free so you could raise Catherine. The only thing I can figure out is Sydney must have had something to do with it."

"So, now what?"

"Well, what I am going to do is, finish the paperwork and set you and Angelo free the legal way. Then we can go on with our lives."

"That sounds good to me. So, tell me about your trip with Simone."

"Well, she is going here in a couple of days to look around again. Then she is going to give me her decision."

"You think she will take the job."

"Yeah. I do."

"That sounds good to me. Now, let me show you how much I missed you." he said kissing her lips.

"I missed you too, but where are the kids?"

"Well, Catherine is at school and Kyle and Sydney are playing in their rooms."

"You left them alone. You know how much trouble a two and three year old can get into."

"Yeah but I just walked in here when you came home."

Parker kissed Jarod again and went to see her kids. When it got time for Catherine to get out of school, Parker drove to the school to pick her up.

When Catherine saw her, she went running to her. "Mommy."

"Hey sweetie. I missed you."

"I missed you too."

"I'm sorry that I missed talking to you last night."

"It's okay." she said as she took her mother hand and walked to the car. They went home.
