Fran Drescher stars as Fran Fine, the saucy, outspoken nanny who brought some greyness into Maxwell Sheffield's hairdo as well as a twinkle back into his eye. With her first step into the mansion, nothing was ever the same again!

Fran was born and raised in Queens and wanted to be an actress from the time she was a child. She attended Hillcrest High School, a year at Queen's College and then received her license in cosmetology school, where she soon opened a mini-salon and was giving $5 haircuts.
