We knew he could write (from thirtysomething). And direct (from "Glory"). And produce (from Oscar-winning "Shakespeare in Love"). So why would we be surprised by Edward Zwick's acting debut on his marvelous ABC series Once and Again? In the December 5 episode (which he cowrote, with fellow executive producer Marshall Herskovitz, and directed), Zwick brought a rumpled charm and intelligence to the role of a therapist treating 14-year-old Jessie (the wonderful Evan Rachel Wood), who apparently has an eating disorder.
