Evan Rachel Wood: I am extremely ticklish! What makes me laugh? People! My brother is like one of the funniest people alive. Especially when I am sad, he is really good at cheering me up.

Evan Rachel Wood: A typical day? Well, right now I am just enjoying my summer, trying to sleep late if my mom doesn't wake me up! I hang out with my friends, go to the movies or hang out, play cards.. I'm just kicking back right now.
empirico44: What is the hardest part of your job?
Evan Rachel Wood: The hardest part? Well, probably..... you have to wake up really early in the morning and you have to work really long hours. SOmetimes it is hard because you don't see your family or friends as often as you would like. But it is just one of the trade-offs. If you have to work out of town, you are away from people for a very long time. That is probably the hardest.

Evan Rachel Wood: Sometimes they recognize me. I don't get it every day.. But a lot of times people come up to me. They just think that they know you because you are in their houses and you are growing up in front of them. I think that it is great to know that people enjoy the show and they watch it.
empirico44: What would be your ideal vacation? Ever been on it?
Evan Rachel Wood: I've always wanted to just take a big road trip with my friends. Get a bunch of people and drive across the country. I think that would be so fun!

Evan Rachel Wood: Oh! That is easy. Jay Mohr, without a doubt!!
penny_arcade21: What was your major influence that made you want to go into acting???
Evan Rachel Wood: Well, I was basically born into it. My mother was an actress and my dad runs a theater, so I just grew up watching my parents act and my friends and family act. I don't know, I guess that I just kind of knew that I was always going to do it. Once I started doing plays in my father's theater, I just fell in love with it. By kindergarten I just knew that it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life!
darkentry2001: Hi Evan I was wondering if that was you really singing on the last episode? it sounded really good
Evan Rachel Wood: Yep, that was me really singing. I recorded that live on the set in front of everybody. I don't think that I've ever done something so nerve wracking!

Evan Rachel Wood: I do! His name is Robert
calculoso: What did you wish for whenyou last blew out the candles?
Evan Rachel Wood: Let me see if I can remember!! I remember what I wished for -- I wished that I could grow up with my friends. Because I was feeling like I had a really strong bond with all of my friends... I want to grow up with them and always stay friends.

Evan Rachel Wood: Just everything. Even between takes, and sometimes when the camera is rolling -- he just ad-libs all these things off the top of his head. I don't know how he does it. He is always hilarious. We would just start laughing on the set. We must have wasted so much film, though!!
penny_arcade21: wHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST FEAR???
Evan Rachel Wood: My biggest fear.. hmm... I'd have to say Sharks! I'm sorry but they just really freak me out! People say "There's no such thing as monsters!" and I'm like "Yes there is, there are sharks!!"
sithmaster24: I think you're one of the most talented young actresses I've ever seen, Evan. I'm really impressed with your work on Once and Again. What type of role do you have in your upcoming movie?
Evan Rachel Wood: In my most recent one, I play a violinist. SHe is not like anyone that I have ever played. She is very classy, very grown up. A very serious person. She is determined and she kind of finds herself in the movie. She realizes not to really grow up so fast and just to enjoy being a kid and hanging out with friends and stuff.
jason_said2007: Would you do an ad for alcohol or cigarettes?
Evan Rachel Wood: Never! Never!!! Even being on the show -- even the characters can influence people. I'm really serious about alcohol and cigarettes. I feel very strongly about it and I would never do an advertisement for them. I might do one AGAINST them ! But not for them.
lizel29nz: Have you done much travelling?
Evan Rachel Wood: I think I do. I mean... I haven't even been out of the country, but me and my mom have gone a lot of places in the US. We have driven cross-country. I just went to Hawaii recently. I've filmed all around the US. I try to travel a lot.
topcornerorbust: What would you like to swim in most? Jello or chocolate pudding?
Evan Rachel Wood: Hahahah Jello might not be as messy, but I love chocolate pudding so I guess I would have to say chocolate pudding!
jessica_alba_babeee: If you had the chance, who would you most like to act with?
Evan Rachel Wood: Hmm.. Probably Meryl Streep or Robert DeNiro or Jodi Foster. Those are like three of my favorites.

Evan Rachel Wood: I haven't.. With the show and becoming a teenager, having friends and stuff.. I got my black belt and I just decided to do something else. I'm trying to focus on dance.

Evan Rachel Wood: My favorite TV show would probably have to be the Simpsons The Princess Bride

Evan Rachel Wood: Wow! Myself. I don't know, I am really happy with myself. I believe that I am a good person and I am good to other people. I am just really happy with myself right now. I try to be the best person that I can be. Everything! I think that I am really happy with the way that I turned out. I don't mean to sound snobby or anything..
maestro99_ca: what is it like to be famous
Evan Rachel Wood: Well, I don't know if I'm really "famous" quite yet! But.. it is interesting. It is a wonderful feeling actually. I LOVE getting recognized and seeing my picture in magazines. It makes me feel really good about myself. I want people to know my name and I want people to know my face by heart. I don't know, you just get this feeling in your stomach of excitement. You see yourself on TV and you're like "That's me!" I feel that I'm very lucky I know so many people are in the world who would love to be on a show The fact that I know that I've done that, it is amazing -- really incredible

Evan Rachel Wood: I have three dogs and a hamster!

Evan Rachel Wood: I've known Frankie since I was six years old. When I was six until probably when I was about 8, we kind of called ourselves boyfriend and girlfriend.. just this innocent childhood thing. We are just good friends now :)
joe4canada4: What is one question you've never been asked that you've been dying to answer?
Evan Rachel Wood: I was just talking about this with my mom the other day, actually. #2) ALWAYS follow your heart #3) There are no second chances in life. The only second chance that you get is the chance to make the same mistake twice. I just heard that recently (#3) and I loved it!
empirico44: What is the food that you can't live without?
Evan Rachel Wood: I love off of Pizza! All the time, whenever I am with my friends, I am eating Pizza! I don't think that I could live without it!
lilgal12: Hi Evan, I just wanted to say that you are so great on "Once and Again", it's my favorite show. Do you ever get overwhelmed with the storylines on O&A?
Evan Rachel Wood: Well, when the idea of making Jessie anorexic was first brought up, I was a little overwhelmed. I didn't know how I was going to do it. I wanted to make it real, but I've never experienced anything close. I Just had to put myself in that situation and see how Jessie would react and I would react, and kind of mix them together. But mostly, no matter how dramatic or hard the storyline is, I usually don't get overwhelmed I just try my best!
justinc709: What sitcom would you most like to make a guest apprence on?
Evan Rachel Wood: Probably Friends! I've always loved that show and I've always wanted to be on it!
penny_arcade21: Do you have a website about yourslef???
Evan Rachel Wood: I don't, actually! I'm trying to get one though. I know that there are plenty of them out there, I've seen a lot.
darkentry2001: can you tell us anything about Jessie in the upcoming season or is it top secret?
Evan Rachel Wood: Well, I don't really know that much... But i've seen the first episode and I sort of have an idea of what is going to happen. I know that there are going to be some problems with Jessie and Zoe sharing the room. There are going to be some fights there. And Grace and Jessie may have some problems. Jessie might get popular and Grace won't know how to take it -- she will be competing with her step-sister in a way. And with Jessie entering this new world of popularity, I don't think that she will handle it well. It kind of scares her a little. With the families combined, there will be a lot of friction and a lot of good storylines. I think that this coming season is going to be really good, I have a really good feeling about it.
jason_said2007: What do you think about China getting to host the Olympics even though it has problems with human rights abuses?
Evan Rachel Wood: WOW! :) I did hear about that.. I'm not quite sure how to answer that. I don't know, I mean I'm only 13! I know I"m supposed to have something facinating and interesting to say about this but.... I don't really!

Evan Rachel Wood: I LOVE horses! Me and my mom are totally in love with horses. I'm trying to buy a horse right now. Since I grew up in North Carolina, I was always around them. It is almost like meditating when you ride them, it is really relaxing
danenci2000: how do u do it to work and go to school or do do u just work in weekends
Evan Rachel Wood: I'm actually in home schooling. Usually, I'm doing my school on the side. I have a tutor that comes and tutors me. I do my work at home. I don't know, it isn't really an issue. When I was in regular school, it was really difficult. I had a hard time with teachers, and I'd really fall behind. Home school is a lot easier.
backstreetgirl10952: What's it like seeing yourself on TV?
Evan Rachel Wood: Sometimes I forget that it's me.. I get sucked into the show and become a fan of it myself. Then all of a sudden I am like "Oh wait, that is Billy and Shane and.... I remember this day!" And I always forget that there are millions of people watching it at the same time
lizel29nz: I've heard that Meredith Deane is very mischevious. Do you ever have to tease or tickle her into line?
Evan Rachel Wood: Hahahah! Meredith is just like my little sister. Meredith and I have a good relationship.. I wouldn't really call her mischevious.... I mean, she is not really allowed to have a lot of candy and she gives me those puppy dog eyes and I have to give her some! But that is as far as it goes! But yeah, me and Shane do hold her down and tickle her sometimes!
jessica_alba_babeee: How many marshmellows can you fit in your mouth at the same time?
Evan Rachel Wood: Haha! Goodness. I've done this before. I played "chubby bunny" at school before! I think that I fit eight

Evan Rachel Wood: Deep Pan !
lilgal12: What do you think about the new time slot for Once and Again? Do you think it will help the ratings?
Evan Rachel Wood: I think making it on Friday nights is a really good idea. It is on a weekend so people will stay up later and watch it. And I think that more teenagers will watch it now because it is on a weekend. I think that will be really good. There are so many great storylines of what teenagers have to go through about how they see the world.. So I hope that more kids will watch it.
backstreetgirl10952: Do you have (annoying) siblings?
Evan Rachel Wood: Well, I have two older brothers. There is a lot of roughousing going on.. When we were little, we were always getting in trouble. When we would fight we would get in troble, when we were getting along we would laugh too much and get in trouble. We don't fight too much anymore, we rely on each other. I always go to my brother for advice.
lilbicky2001: HAVE YOU DONE ANY MOVIES OR TV SHOWS BEFORE THIS ONE?
Evan Rachel Wood: I was reoccurring on the NBC series "Profiler". I've done "Touched by an Angel". I actually did the ORIGINAL pilot of "Touched By An Angel" that never aired, because they wanted to change it. I was on the TV series "American Gothic" I was never a regular on those shows. I've never worked on a show for this long before. I can't say that I do, but I think I only watch soap operas when I am at my grandma's house because that is basically all she watches. And actually my boyfriend, Robert, is on a soap opera -- Port Charles
empirico44: If you had the chance to interview one celebrity, who would it be?
Evan Rachel Wood: Hmm.... I would love to just sit down and talk with Jodie Foster one day. Just to hear her perspective on life, acting, her childhood... Because she was a child actor as well.

Evan Rachel Wood: My role model? Right now, once again, I have to say Jodie Foster! I look up to her! But when I was little, probably Melissa Joan Hart!
pparsenal: How do you feel when guys tell you how beautiful you are?
Evan Rachel Wood: I have gotten some fan mail about that. I'm flattered! Especially when I might be feeling a little self concious about myself and I hear that. It makes me feel really good. Especially if that person is really cute :)
lilgal12: Is it hard being a "normal" teenager with your working schedule, etc.?
Evan Rachel Wood: Is it hard? Yeah, sometimes it is hard to balance out friends and family and acting. Because sometimes you will have made plans and then you can't do it because you are working. Sometimes I think that I am missing out.. And then I realize "Hello, Evan, you are giving this up TO BE ON A TV SHOW" ! But I always take the time out to be with my friends and just be a kid.

Evan Rachel Wood: Gosh, I haven't seen Kevin since I worked with him. But it was great. Basically all of my scenes were with him. We developed a pretty cool bond. He is such a cool guy, with his leather jacket and black boots and such He is really great, and also a really funny guy
cuteniceguyfromny: I heard that in most cases that all of the money that a child star makes, goes into some kind of fund, and that you get that when you turn 18 or something, is this true in your case?
Evan Rachel Wood: Yes, a percentage of my money goes to a trust fund that nobody can touch -- except me when I turn 18. So yes, that is the case.

Evan Rachel Wood: The day that I flew out there to start filming, I turned 9

Evan Rachel Wood: Umm, no not really! I never really think about how many people are going to be watching this and what they are going to think. I am just in the scene, with whoever else is in the scene. And I just play it as real as I possibly can. I am pretty used to performing in front of people.
jason_said2007: If you couldn't be an actress, what would you like to be?
Evan Rachel Wood: Probably a singer! That is my second love. I sing all day, and I sing all night! ;-) And I've always just wanted to get up on a stage in front of thousands of people and sing my heart out.
jason_said2007: If you were a vegetable, what would it be?
Evan Rachel Wood: Haha. A vegetable? Probably Broccoli. I don't know why.. I just probably would be Broccoli!
joe4canada4: Is your life like any of the roles you've played?
Evan Rachel Wood: When I did "Digging to China" I was actually a lot like her. Just this quirky, really imaginitive person. I played make-believe.. I actually STILL do. :) When I'm not doing acting, I still do acting sometimes!! When Jessie isn't depressed or anorexic, I do relate to her actually!
jessica_alba_babeee: What is the strangest thing you've received in fan mail?
Evan Rachel Wood: I've had people ask me to dances. Like grown men asking me to dances. Sometimes it is a little creepy and you'll be like.. where did this come from.. You're like reading and you look at the address and it is like "Cell Block ........ " and you get a little freaked out I like getting fan mail best from girls my age who watch the show. Girls who want to be actresses.... or who have the same interests. I love hearing from people like that! This year I received a lot of fan mail from girls who were Anoriexic who just wanted to say "That was so real" and that it made them cry. That is one of the best payoffs of being an actress -- when you get something like that and someone just comes up to you and says "Thank You, you really touched me" That is basically why I want to be an actress, I want to help people and make a difference somehow

Evan Rachel Wood: Yes, I actually have! Me and my friends all kind of crushed on the main guy from "Bring It On" Probably the most serious one was David Bowie! Everyone calls me crazy, they are like "He's old enough to be your dad!!"

Evan Rachel Wood: Wow! I have had adults come up to me and say that I am their role model.. That is amazing. And people younger than me and the same age that look up to me.. It is SO flattering! I don't really know how to describe it. It is a great feeling when somebody says that. "You lead my ideal life" or "You are the person that I want to be".. I mean, WOW, that is hte best compliment a person could give to me! People that kind of look up to me as their big sister -- people who haven't even met me.. I think... I don't know. I just try and stay out of trouble and make good decisions and use good judgement and hope to influence people to do the same!
FightinCowboy: Ms. Wood I am an asspiring actor in Wilmington, NC do you have any advice for a beginner actor (i acted al thoughout high school)
Evan Rachel Wood: I actually started out in Wilmington, NC! Just don't give up! I know that a lot of people have so much talent but aren't patient and they give up on themselves. You can't do that, you have to work as hard as you can and don't give up If you are determined and it is what you really want to do, then you have to go for it And do whatever it takes to make it there.
