TV Stars To Present SAG Awards

TV stars Lucy Liu, Martin Sheen and Sela Ward will be presenters at the 7th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, airing March 11 on TNT.

All three actors are current and previous SAG nominees. Liu was nominated last year for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her work on "Ally McBeal" and received a SAG comedy ensemble nomination this year for the fourth time in a row. Sheen received his second individual actor nomination and first ensemble nomination for his work on "The West Wing" this year, and Ward was nominated as an individual for her role as Lilly on "Once and Again." She was previously nominated for two SAG award in 1996, for the title role in the TV movie "Almost Golden: The Jessica Savitch Story" and as a series regular on the NBC drama "Sisters."__zap2it.com (February 13, 2001)
