Awards Ceremonies Air March 11, 2001 on TNT

Nominations for the 7th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® for outstanding performances in 2000 in 13 film and primetime television categories were announced today in Los Angeles at the Pacific Design Center.

Two randomly selected panels totaling 4200 SAG members from across the United States chose the nominees for the only industry acting honors voted on entirely by actors' peers. The secret ballots were mailed January 3, 2001 and returned by the deadline of January 26, 2001 to Sequoia Pacific Systems, the Guild's official teller.

This year's Actors®, will be presented on Sunday, March 11, 2001 at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center and televised nationally on TNT (Turner Network Television) at 8:00 PM (ET/PT), 7:00 PM Central, 6:00 PM MT.
