ABC Hones Game Plan

By RICHARD HUFF, Daily News Staff Writer - Sports Night" appears to be out and "Norm" may be back as the programming gurus at ABC complete their fall lineup, to be announced tomorrow.

ABC brass was said to be toying with the idea of using as many as five nights of ratings juggernaut "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," though a four-night schedule is possible.

Also, based on a draft circulating yesterday, "NYPD Blue" will again start the season late, with a new drama filling the 10 p.m. Tuesday slot until midseason.

"Once and Again," which established itself in the "NYPD Blue" slot last fall, is heading for Wednesdays at 10 p.m., replacing "20/20."

"Sports Night" could find itself on HBO, sources said.

ABC has picked up these new shows: "Lost and Found," a comedy starring Geena Davis ("Stuart Little"), Peter Horton ("thirtysomething") and Mimi Rogers ("Full Body Massage"); "Wife and Kids," a comedy starring Damon Wayans ("In Living Color") about a not-so-modern man living in a modern world, and the drama "Gideon's Crossing," starring Andre Braugher ("Homicide: Life on the Street").
