Is there any show that exposes the angst of every day life better than "Once and Again" (Friday, ABC, 10 p.m.)? Last week Karen wandered the house in her bathrobe for the entire day, having an exclusive pity party for one, remembering Thanksgivings of years past when her family was all together and wallowing in her inherent loneliness. It wasn't that Karen didn't have a place to go (she declined a friend's invitation), it was more that she couldn't bear to be part of anyone's happiness on this painful day. This type of sadness -- a highly functioning woman who just took a day off -- isn't often shown on television. Now I like this plumber Raul.
