Set on a Marine base in Pensacola, Florida a group of young Marines is put under the command of Lt. Col. Bill Kelly to learn the art of flying jet planes. Soon this group of "Nuggets" form strong relationsips and begin to depend on one another. After many trials and tribulations the group was promoted from Lieutenant to Captain. Every day the group must face new challenges and learn how to deal with one another. In each life and death situation they learn to depend on one another. Dealing with the stress of relationships and the pressure of being perfect in their tests teaches these Marines about each other and themselves.
