"Well, people make mistakes, Gary."
Gary: "Yeah, I realize that."
Gary: "I can babysit or whatever it is you do with an eight year old."
Marissa: "Gary, you don't even like kids."
Gary: "I do to like kids...from a distance, they're all right."
Gary about Henry: "He comes with instructions?"
(Henry has just asked Gary something) Gary: "We'll see."
Henry: "That's what my Mom says when she means no."
Henry, of the stripper: "She's a nurse?"
Gary: "...No, I don't know how he can be hungry. The kid must have a tapeworm or something."
"If you can't look a kid in the eye, something's wrong."
Gary: "Look, I'm telling you - that kid did not eat papaya."
Gary: "You know, sometimes when people get older, they loose a little faith."
"But, if you loose it, can they get it back?"
Gary: "I'm working on it, kid."
Another episode...
Seller: "Sun-Times! Get your Sun-Times here!" Gary walks past. "Hey Mister - Latest edition!"
Gary: "That's what you think kid."
(Gary in the cab with the cooler) Cab driver: "You just hold on to the herat and leave the driving to Emmett Brown."
Another ep.
Gary to the cat: "What is this, huh? I come in down here to turn off one lousy circuit breaker, the next thing I know I'm in 1929. There's gangsters running around. They're trying to kill me. And don't think I don't know you're involved in this! I tell you what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna turn this lamp off - do you hear me? I'm gonna turn this lamp off and when I turn it back on, I want to be in my own time. Do we understand each other?"
Turns lamp off.
Cat: "Meow."
Turns lamp on. Opens eyes.
Nothing has changed.
Cat purrs.
Gary: "Well, that's just great!"
