Danny has gotten a job as a bartender. He is working on Thursday nights. And he is very happy because he is able to make money. Ok, first of all he is working with no shirt on, which is cool, I guess, but, and I say this with much luv, he is not what you called extremely built. Oh, I am sure there are many that will disagree with me, but him without his shirt didn't make me swoon. Danny says that he knew working at this club would be full of temptation because there are a lot of beautiful people there. Danny introduces himself to a guy name Wes, who is at the bar drinking. In the confessional, Danny says that there is a battle going on within himself over him putting the time and energy into his relationship with Paul, or devoting time into getting to know people in New Orleans. Danny tells Wes that he(Danny) needs to be good and not to get into any trouble. Wes asks Danny his name again.(So much for a first impression) Danny says, "You don't f****** remember my name?" Wes playful taps him and tells him to watch his language. Danny says, "I remember your name." Danny proceeds to tell Wes his name again. Wes tells Danny that he is bad with names, and Danny says, "I can see that." Let me just say that our Danny is a major flirt. Paul Who???

Danny is outside talking to Kelley on the front step. He tells her that when he first came to the house, he had no intention on hooking up with anybody. Danny says that when he told all his friends that, they laughed at him. (They know he is a big flirt, too.) Kelley tells him, "Yeah right." And Danny laughs. (Oh, by the way, did anybody know that Kelley smoked? I guess I am shocked because I have never seen her do it, but that might just be slacking on my part for not noticing it earlier) In the confessional, Danny says he always will have a voice in back of his head that tells him to "go for it." Danny tells Kelley that it would be different if he would have had longer to hang out before he came to the house. I am assuming he means hang out with Paul. In the confessional, Danny says that he is thinking about Paul the entire time. (I guess for the exception of when he was stripping Wes' clothes off with his eyes, but hey, who am I to judge) On the phone, Paul tells Danny that he is thinking about him constantly. Danny tells Paul that he is glad to hear that. Then Paul tells Danny, "But, have fun" This catches Danny off guard, and he says to Paul, "I am, but what do you mean by that." See, it's one thing to want to flirt with other people besides your mate, but to have your mate almost tell you it is cool to do so makes you wonder what your mate might be up to. Paul tells Danny that he doesn't want to be a distraction. Danny tells him he is not one, but Paul says he still feels like he is. In the confessional, Danny says he doesn't know if he is going to hold off and keep Paul as the only one. Then turns right around and tells Paul he loves him. Maybe I am not seeing the full picture. I understand that they have only known each other for a short time, but since they feel they can use the word love already, shouldn't there be more desire for monogamy? Maybe I just don't throw the word "love" around so loosely. In the confessional, Danny says that he never felt this way about somebody else, and that he misses Paul a lot. In the bedroom, Danny and tells Kelley that he is being such a hypocrite.(you think?) Kelley tells him that he lives in New Orleans and it is like "Gay Central" and that he is going to get hit on constantly. Danny tells her that for once, he wants to be strong. Kelley tells him to "be strong, then" and to "have some conviction in your life" Now one minute she seems as if she condones him cheating on Paul, and the next minute she is telling him to have some conviction. I think the point she was trying to make is do something and stop whining about it. Danny tells her that it is just not that easy. Danny gets respect from me because at least he can admit where he is weak.

Kelley is talking on the phone to her friend, Peter(remember him?) She asks him does he want to swing by the house around 3:30. He tells her maybe they can run up by the river and watch the sunset. In the confessional, Julie says that she is striking from the record the prediction about Kelley and Jamie hooking up. She said that from her "observing"(AKA being nosy) this past week, she knew it wasn't going to happen. Has anybody else noticed that Julie is one nosy chick? She is around every corner. Peter comes and picks up Kelley and they go down by the river. In the confessional, Kelley says that her relationship with Peter is truly a day-to-day thing. They toast each other with which I guess are wine coolers (It's hard to tell what they were drinking, since the bottles were wrapped in brown paper bags like 40 oz's of malt liquor) and Peter tells Kelley that he has had a great time for the past four days. Kelley agrees. In the confessional, Kelley says that in the beginning of a relationship, it is always good. She tells Peter that one of her friends asked her had she met any guys. She tells Peter that she told her friend, "Yes, his name is Peter, he is 28 and he is really hot." In the confessional, Kelley says that she is taking the relationship very slow and she is not going to jump in head first.

Back at the house, Melissa asks Kelley if any of Peter's doctor friends are cute. Kelley laughs. Melissa tells her that she thinks that Peter is really nice. Kelley agrees that he is very cool. Melissa asks Kelley had her and Peter discussed his long distance girlfriend yet. Kelley says that she thinks he told the girlfriend about her. Kelley says that he is cool for being honest. She said, "What kind of guy would…." Then she has to spit out her toothpaste. Oh, did I forget to mention that her and Melissa are having this deep conversation while Kelley is brushing her teeth? So, in between the slobber and the drool……. Melissa is impressed that Peter was so honest with his long distance girlfriend. In the confessional, Kelley says the she is still somewhat apprehensive because she could be setting herself up for a fall. Melissa says to Kelley, "This is how I feel about Peter's girlfriend: out of sight; out of mind." (Melissa is the kind of girl that would be sniffing around your man when you were at work or out of town, or something) Kelley laughs it off.

Matt and Julie get on the trolley. Julie sees there is nobody on there but them, and she tells Matt that they have the whole car to themselves, and she wasn't sitting next to him. In the confessional, Matt says that there was a weirdness between him and Julie that prevents them from really talking to each other. (Can anybody tell me what weird thing Matt was doing with his arm in the confessional when he was trying to get his point across??) Julie takes a seat in the back of the trolley, while Matt sits up front. Since Matt is not paying her any mind, she gets up and sits behind him and hugs his neck. He pats her arm. In the confessional, Julie says that from day one, Matt has had some awareness that she was attracted to him. Oh, but does everybody remember in episode one, Matt said that he would never, ever, ever be able to tell if one of the women in the house were attracted to him? Please, he is not fooling anybody but himself. Everybody can see Julie likes this man. She says that she feels that her and Matt are having communication issues. She says that they don't talk to each other very much, and when they do, it seems as if he is talking AT her, and not TO her. Matt tells Julie that he loves his computer, and Julie tells him that he makes love to his computer. Matt says that his computer is a full-figured computer that he hugs and it rocks him to sleep. Matt says it is a cool relationship because he can turn it off and on. Julie says he likes the computer because it "listens" to him. Matt says, "Exactly" (hmmm, wonder how much one hand typing Matt does when he is with his woman, cybermomma? Opps!!)

You see Julie picking up her brother Alan at the airport. Ok, I could have picked him out of a thousand guys to be her brother. They look very much a like, and they seem to act a like. "sigh" In the confessional, Julie says that the most important person in her life is her brother. They hug and shriek and hug and play. Julie says in the confessional that her brother is into the same things that she is into. She tells him that she found a cool vintage guitar shop, and he is eager to see it. In the confessional, Julie says that her brother is a very good person to talk to, and she is so happy he came to visit. They get back to the house, and Alan tells Julie that since Valentine's day is Monday, he brought gifts. He says he figured if no other guy was going to give her anything, he would. In the confessional, Matt says that he really doesn't have anything planned for Valentine's day because it was jut another day to him. (No hot cyber loving for ya??) Alan gives Julie a bag filled with Valentine's goodies. In the confessional, Julie says that it is not important to have a lover on Valentine's day, just as long as you have love. In the confessional, Melissa says it seems that Julie and Alan did not have T.V when they were younger because they get along so well. Ok, why am I agreeing with Melissa? I mean, it is nice to see that Julie and her brother have such a good relationship, but it is almost unreal. I love my brothers, but darn… Julie says to Melissa, "Isn't my brother sweet?" And Melissa says, "Yes, it is sickening."

Julie takes Alan on a small tour of New Orleans. In the confessional, she says that Alan has never been to a big city. They sit on the sidewalk and begin playing their guitars. People are watching them in appreciation, and one dude, with no shirt on and a hot a** black hat on sits there and moves to the beat. People are walking by throwing money in their guitar cases. All together they get three dollars. In the confessional, Julie says that Alan understands her more than most people. And even though he doesn't agree with her all the time, he doesn't judge her for what she does. Julie tries to talk Alan into get his palm read. Alan tells her it is the devil, and if she wants to get it done, she will have to deal with the damnation that comes with it. (whew) Julie sits down at with the palm reader and asks her if she will ever find the man of her dreams. The palm reader points out Julie's love line, and Julie says that it is so small, but the palm reader tells her it is a strong love line(and she would know, since she is a credible palm reader, "rolling eyez") In the confessional, Julie says that she is depressed because the palm reader told her she would not find true love until she was 24 and that she won't get married until she was 30. Julie says she can't believe she is going to be a virgin until she is 30, and that she might as well shoot herself. Yes, Julie, polish the bullet now, because if the palm reader AKA full-time sales clerk at Walmart says it to be so, then dammit, it must be true.

Danny is at the bar drinking and talking with Wes. In the confessional, Danny says that Wes is one of the guys he is honestly attractive to. (As long as it is an honest attraction, it's not wrong, "smirk") Danny is sitting with Wes and a few of Wes' friends, looking at a male stripper on stage, and drinking a lot. Danny suggests that they should all go back to his hot tub. The only girl of the group says yes, they should go. They get back to the house, and Danny gets butt a** naked and gets in the hot tub. Matter of fact, they all seem to be naked except the girl, which makes you kind of wonder what she is doing there. In the confessional, Danny says he is sitting in the hot tub thinking about how attractive all these guys are, and how all the guys are attracted to him. He says that when you mix alcohol and good-looking people(ok, they weren't ALL that) things happen. Danny starts to sober up and decides that everybody better go. He felt he had to get himself out of that situation. The girl gives Danny a kiss, and Wes hugs him. In the confessional, Danny says that he hasn't seen Paul in a few weeks, and it is getting harder and harder to be faithful. Yo, what's up with that? Right there tells you that he can't be away from his mate for too long without getting the urge to cheat. (Oh, honey, why is this other man in my bed?? Because the eight hours you are at work is just too long.) I mean, damn, give me a break. Danny sees them out and he goes up to bed.

Kelley and Danny are sitting around in the kitchen eating and talking. Danny asks Kelley did she think it was wrong to fantasize about other people when you had somebody in your life. Kelley tells him, "No, that is the point of fantasy." Danny asks if he is wrong, and Kelley tells him no. Kelley thinks that you have to fantasize about others. Danny agrees and said it keeps things from getting boring. Kelley tells him that he is only human, and Danny says, "Well, that makes me feel better."(that's right, Kelley, co-sign his bulls***) What?? Ok, let me start off by saying that fantasizing is one thing, but to be constantly thinking about another person while you are with somebody else is wrong(at least to me). I mean, how can constantly thinking about somebody else improve your relationship?? That would tell me that maybe I needed to be WITH somebody else. More and more Danny is making me think that he is definitely not ready for a committed relationship.

Kelley and Melissa go to a deli to get some dinner to take to Peter at the hospital(he is a doctor for those he didn't know). In the confessional, Melissa says that Peter is too good to be true. She says that Kelley would like it to SEEM platonic, but it really isn't. Back in the truck, Melissa asks Kelley when Peter's girlfriend left. Kelley answered, "Yesterday." Melissa says, "Good" In the confessional, Kelley says that over the past weekend, Peter had his girlfriend in town to visit. Kelley tells Melissa that she is sure that Peter's girlfriend is a nice person, but….and Melissa says, "But she is still a problem" In the confessional, Kelley says that she doesn't want to screw up anybody's life or relationship, but at the same time, Peter's girlfriend lives so far away, and that it makes sense that Peter would start to have interest in somebody else. They get to the hospital, and Kelley gives Peter his food. In the confessional, Kelley said that Peter wanted to see where they relationship would go. They agree to meet later at 9:00. Kelley tells Melissa that Peter looks real good in his scrubs, and that he wasn't covered in blood or anything, which was a good thing.

Ok, this is how I always look so deep into things. First we hear Eminem's song playing, and then we see Julie getting ready to dye her brother's hair. Me, being the idiot we all know I am, am assuming she is getting ready to dye it blond like Eminem's. Oh, no…she proceeds to dye it orange. And regardless of Julie telling him that it looks good, I am not going to lie to the boy….Alan, sweetie, keep your sister out of your hair next time, because that s*** looks a mess. You have to know that Alan loves his sister a whole lot, because I was expecting him to drop kick her after he looked in the mirror and saw the color. Danny tells Alan that it is orange, and Alan said that it was cool. Julie tells Alan that they(her and Melissa, who helped put it in and wash it out) did not get any of the dye on his ugly fish shirt, which Julie informs everybody that she bought for him and makes him wear. Julie and Alan leave the room to go look at his hair, and Danny and Melissa look at each other and laugh. Melissa says, "The Prairie children run up the stairs as they hold hands." Danny falls out laughing and says, "Little house on the prairie." I guess I am a little freaked out about Julie and her brother. I mean, it is great they are close, but like I said before, it is so unreal. First of all, none of my brothers would even let me buy a brush to use for their hair, let alone dye it. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Julie and her brother are in the room talking and she is telling him that there are a lot of things that go on in the world that she doesn't like, but you just have to deal with it and move on. Matt comes in the room and asks Julie and Alan was it a family conversation, and they both reply no and invite him in. Matt lies across the bed and Julie lays her head on him. In the confessional, Julie says that Matt has a beautiful mouth and perfect lips. She says that she can't talk to somebody when all the time thinking about how beautiful their mouth is. Then Matt makes a fart sound with his mouth, tells Julie he made a fart sound with his armpit on her head, takes his change off the bed and jokingly says that Julie tried to steal it. These two are straight out of 7th grade. Alan tells Julie she is stupid and Julie asks why. Alan imitates Julie(pretty good, too) and says, "I hate him"(you know how Julie says that about Matt). Alan makes fun of how Julie acts around Matt and Julie starts playfully hitting and kicking him. Alan tells her the only reason she is beating him up is because she knows that everything he says is true. In the confessional, Julie says that Alan will tell her when she is being stupid. Alan tells Julie that he knows her too well, and Julie says she hates him. Alan tells her that if he lived in the house with her, she would get so mad because he would call her on all the stupid little things she does. Julie sighs with frustration.

Danny is on the phone talking to Paul. He asks Paul if he is in his uniform. And Paul replies that his is wearing nothing(T.M.I: too much information) Danny says that is even better. Danny asks Paul why won't he just come visit. Paul tells him that he can't come because he has to work, but he tells Danny to expect something around 8 or 9 o'clock on Monday. Paul said that if Danny had something else to do, then don't worry about it, but Danny tells him that he has nothing else to do, so he would be waiting. Paul tells him that it won't be a dancing telegram or flowers. Danny tells Paul that he misses him, and Paul tells Danny to keep on missing him. I kind of figured at this point that Paul was coming for a surprise visit, but evidently Danny doesn't think that because in the confessional he says that he is having something sent to him but he has no clue what it is.

Julie tells Melissa that she got everybody Valentine's day crap. She has bought everybody a little box of chocolate with a message on it. Melissa says that Valentine's day must be the stupidest holiday ever. And Julie tells her it is not stupid. Julie shows Melissa and Kelley what she got everybody. Melissa wants to know which one is hers, and Julie shows her the box of chocolate that says on the front of it, "You crack me up." She shows them Danny's box, which says, "Be my lover, baby, change is good." On David's box, it says, "Slow down." Which they agree is perfect for him. Melissa says that she loves Julie because she is the biggest nerd that she knows, and she doesn't want to celebrate Valentine's day because she is a little grouch, and then she tells everybody to kiss her butt. (And SHE doesn't have 1000 valentines??) The doorbell rings and Melissa answers it. It is a delivery guy with packages. It is packages that Jamie sent to the rest of the roommates. In the confessional, Jamie says that he bought books for everybody he felt would help each roommate benefit from it. Melissa asks Danny what he got in the mail, and he says that he got two letters from Paul. Melissa says, "whoop de do" Leave it to Melissa to say what we are all thinking. Danny says that Paul writes the best letters: Short, sweet and to the point. Melissa says that she hates Danny and she hopes he rots in hell. (can we find this girl a valentine??) Melissa is looking in the mirror(what's new) and she asks Kelley if Peter is going to send Kelley a valentine gift or was he going to bring it. Melissa tells Kelley that she(Kelley) is going to get flowers today. Kelley tells Melissa that Peter is not a flower person. Melissa asks her how she knew that, and Kelley says, "He told me" In the confessional, Kelley says that Peter is taking her to dinner for Valentine's day. Meanwhile in the kitchen, Julie asks David if he saw all the Valentine's that were on the counter. David says that they were "so cute" and says that playas don't get Valentines. Or give them for that matter. He says playas just "exist." Julie asks what happens if he slept with a woman, does she get a valentine then? David said just because he slept with a woman don't mean she is getting a valentine. "I slept with you; give me some candy hearts." Is how he put it. In the confessional, David said that he wasn't always a playa, he was actually the exact opposite. He says the he can not get into a relationship right now because there is no way he would be able to handle it. Julie tells David that he is different than other playas that just care about the booty call. And then she hits him with the "yada yada, whoo whoo" he always says, and David tells her that it was a very good usage of words, and Julie says she has been working on it. Ah ha!! Good job Julie!! Ok, David, I thought real playas move in silence? Or is that bad boys? Well, whatever it is, shut the h*** up about being a playa, I'm tired of hearing it!!!

Kelley and Peter are out to dinner. Kelley says that she is very excited about it being Valentine's day and she gets to spend it with such a fabulous guy. Peter hands Kelley a book and tells her it is her Valentine's day gift. He laughs and says it is not flowers, but he thinks she will like it. It is a book on Thailand. In the confessional, Kelley says that she had mentioned earlier that she had wanted to go to Thailand. Kelley looks through the book and you can see she is very happy. She tells Peter that he done good, and that this is the kind of thing she likes. She explains that if he had got her roses, it would have been great, but the book shows that he put a lot of thought into the gift. Peter says that roses are a no-brainer. Kelley thanks him, and you can see that she is very touched.

Danny is walking around the house a little pissed because the delivery that Paul said would be there hasn't arrived yet. He is pacing around the house, looking out the window, cutting his hair. He says that Paul told him to expect something around 8, and he is waiting and waiting and waiting. He goes out the door to see if he sees anything, and he doesn't.

Kelley and Peter leave the restaurant and go to his place. Kelley puts on a nice slow song, which she says is one of her favorites. She takes off her dress, but keeps her slip on. In the confessional, she says that she is really feeling good about Peter right now. She gets into his bed, and tells Peter she is going to watch him put in his pajama bottoms. Peter takes his pajamas(which are actually his work scrubs) and goes out of the room to change. Kelley scoffs. In the confessional, Kelley says that Peter and his girlfriend have decided to go ahead and see other people. (too late for permission) Peter comes back in the room, and both of them start giggling. He shuts off the light, and gets into bed(presumably, the scene ends there)

Back at the Mansion, the doorbell rings and Danny runs to get it. Guess what? It's Paul. Danny is so surprised and excited, he drops the key to the house. He gives Paul a hug. In the confessional, he says the Paul has come to see him, and that he is such an awesome guy. Danny asks Paul what he brought, and Paul tells Danny that he got food from Danny's favorite restaurant in Atlanta. Paul is prepared, too. He has the chopsticks and the sauce and even bowls. Danny tells Paul that this is the greatest gift he has ever gotten. Paul tells Danny that he wouldn't let Danny eat by himself. Paul says to Danny that he knows how hungry he was for the food, and Danny says, "Not just the food, hungry for you, too." (who writes this stuff?) In the confessional, Danny says that Paul is obviously his Valentine, and that he has never had one before. Danny asks Paul how long he is staying, and Paul tells him until Wednesday. They hold hands and eat their food. In the confessional, Danny says that Paul is everything he has been looking for. He realizes that if he is going to be strong, he is going to have to do it from this point, and resist temptation. He says he definitely has the best Valentine's present. The episode ends with them looking at each other and holding hands. Of course you can't see Paul's face, you know, not with that ugly gray block in front of it, but I have to say, he has handsome hands. "sigh"

Ok, in the closing credits, it seems as if Melissa, Julie and Danny are sitting around and Melissa is filling out Valentine's cards. But her hair is longer again. What's up with that? Either it is a wig, or MTV is doing their cutting and slicing again. I can't keep up from one week to the next as much as they throw the episodes together all half-a**ed.

The winner of the "Get on my nerves" award is a three-way tie. Even though they didn't get on my nerves too bad, they are still worthy of mention. And please understand this is in no particular order. First, Julie and her brother, Alan. These two are like Siamese twins just separated. And the whole orange hair thing is award-winning in itself. Second is David with his tired, played-out, playa mentality. Third is, believe it or not, Danny. As much as I love him, he got on my nerves just a teeny bit with the whole "I love Paul, but I can't be faithful" attitude. But he redeemed himself, and he still is one of my favorites! Until Next Time
