About Me/Malcolm Mania

Whoa, you're really looking at this page? You must be bored, huh? At first I said to myself "I'm not going to make one of those useless pages about me" but I got to thinking, I can kill 2 birds with one stone and use this page to talk about this website also. Why not? Plus, this is the page where website creators are allowed to use all those goofy animations they've been saving for so long. :p

~*~*~*~*~*~ I started this website in February 2000. I had tried to make other websites before, I had a website for "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel", and I put all of my time and effort into that but by the time I had made that site there were already thousands of "Buffy/Angel" related websites so mine didn't seem to be all that important. The same goes for a few other pages I made, one for "The Simpsons", one for "Green Day", etc. So when "Malcolm in the Middle" came along, I thought it was a perfect opportunity. It was a brand new show and there were only a few websites out there for it at the time. The big one being the official page at FOX.com. I thought "This is my chance, get your site out there as soon as you can." Well, I did and thanks to you visitors I'm proud to say that "Malcolm Mania" has had more than a million visitors to this site!~*~*~*~*~*~

~*~*~*~*~*~Most of the time this page gets updated every day in one way or another. There's always something to be done and I'm so grateful to all you regulars out there who visit this site to see what's going on in the world of "Malcolm". I'll admit it's hard to make a website, there's always another idea in my head for a page I could be adding. I realize that a lot of this site is about Justin Berfield, but that's what most of the people I've talked to want. "More Justin pictures! Get a Justin bio!" BTW, bios on it's way.~*~*~*~*~*~

~*~*~*~*~*~I'm not related to the show except for the fact that I am a big fan. I've never met any of the cast, I've never met Linwood Boomer (the creator), or any of the crew, etc. the purpose of this website is to put out information for "Malcolm in the Middle" fans whether you're new to the show or have been addicted from the start. I don't know everything there is to know about the show, so please don't yell at me if I mess something up. (I remember one time I got an e-mail and the person was SO mad at me because I had made a typo and spelled Bryan Cranston's name wrong. Another time someone got so fed up because I had accidently typed the name of "They Might Be Giants" wrong. Whoops.)~*~*~*~*~*~

~*~*~*~*~*~I hope you like the midis I put on every page, I feel it gives the site a more personal touch. Also, while I'm writing this, I'd like to thank the suppliers of some of the pictures on this website. JM FAN, STAR OASIS and MAX GALLERIES.~*~*~*~*~*~

~*~*~*~*~*~Ok, now to the boring part, a little about me. (I don't know who's more bored, people who read this or me for writing this. j/k) I'm 17 years old and my name is Kathy. I'm from Maryland, jeepers, is this sounding like a singles ad or what? I also have two yahoo clubs. Justin Berfield Lovers, which I made about the same time as "Malcolm Mania". And I also created Planet Dewey, which I don't update as often, but know I should. I obviously like "Malcolm in the Middle" but if you really want to know more of what I like, you can check out my yahoo profile. You'll find I love everything from Adam Sandler to Incubus.~*~*~*~*~*~

~*~*~*~*~*~I've been home-schooled since October 2000 and to be honest I don't miss all the "perks" of being in a public school. Everyone asks me, oh well won't you miss your prom? Or graduating with your entire class? Well, nope and nope. I never went to school dances and to be honest I don't care if I graduate with 200 other teenagers or not. (About the prom/dance stuff, I don't see the point of paying to stand and be uncormortable for 3 hours while a DJ plays Aqua's "Barbie Girl" repeatedly, but hey, that's just me.) No, I'm not a hermit or anti-social I just never cared for public schools or their events. I'd be much more content to stay at home and watch a "Simpsons" repeat or play baseball with some neighborhood kids.~*~*~*~*~*~

~*~*~*~*~*~I write for a Canadian kid's magazine. I've been writing for them for over a year now, and so far I've had multiple articles/quizzes/crosswords published on "Malcolm in the Middle", "Futurama" "Friends", "Simpsons", "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", Austin Powers 3, Sum 41, Spider-man, Scooby Doo, Blink 182, Linkin Park and No Doubt. I've also written about asthma, strokes and eating disorders. See the Mag cover above? That's my first cover story! Yeah! Plus, the little pic of Buffy was for my crossword puzzle. :p I look forward to writing more for "The Magazine, Not For Adults" whenever I can. (It's a magazine based in Canada, I first heard about it when they had published my website link for "Planet Dewey" and the writing took off from there.) Go to their site and subscribe, PLEASE!! (Nothing wrong with a little advertising...)~*~*~*~*~*~

~*~*~*~*~*~Hmmm...what else. Well, I have to admit, I'm terrible at writing e-mails. I'll check my mail pretty much everyday but since 99% of the mail I get are ads, I sometimes will accidentaly erase someone's message. It's rare, but it has happened. You see everyday when I check my mail I'll get at least 20 new messages, most if not all of them are from companies I don't know, people trying to sell me a car or give me a frequent flyer deal. (I haven't been on a plane since I was 4 or 5! Sheesh.) So sometimes accidents happen, if I've ever erased YOUR e-mail by mistake, you have my deepest apologies.~*~*~*~*~*~
