Prologue

Belle and Shawn are playing hide and seek in a park. 
There is no one else around, it is just the two of
them.

"Shawn, Shawn Brady, where are you?"  Belle giggles in
a teasing voice.  "Come out come out wherever you are.
 Are you over by the swings, nope not over there?  I
know your by the statue?  No, hum where are you
Shawn?"  

Shawn peaks around the corner of an old Oak tree.

"If I were Shawn Brady where would I be?  I know!
Could you be hiding behind that Oak tree over there."

Belle runs over there and as she is circling the tree,
Shawn sneaks up behind her picks her up, spins her
around and gives her a long kiss on the lips. 

"I thought you would never find me Belle."

Chapter 1

Belle and Shawn are playing hide and seek in a park. 
There is no one else around, it is just the two of
them.

"Shawn, Shawn Brady, where are you?"  Belle giggles in
a teasing voice.  "Come out come out wherever you are.
 Are you over by the swings, nope not over there?  I
know your by the statue?  No, hum where are you
Shawn?"  

Shawn peaks around the corner of an old Oak tree.

"If I were Shawn Brady where would I be?  I know!
Could you be hiding behind that Oak tree over there."

Belle runs over there and as she is circling the tree,
Shawn sneaks up behind her picks her up, spins her
around and gives her a long kiss on the lips. 

"I thought you would never find me Belle."


Now-everyone is gathered in the waiting room at the
hospital.  Belle is asleep in a chair, her head
resting on Marlana's shoulder.  As her dream starts to
turn into a nightmare, she starts tossing and turning
in her sleep.   Marlana tries to wake her up.

"Belle, Belle, honey wake up."

"Shawn."

"No Belle it's mom, honey wake up."

"Shawn, Shawn, no."

"Belle, Shawn will be ok, wake up."

"Shawn, no Shawn, don't go, please don't go, I love
you, I love you, you can't leave me yet."

Everyone including Marlana has stopped to listen to
Belle, shocked looks on all their faces.  

"I love you?"  John questions  "Did my little girl
just say she loved Shawn?"

Great-gran:  "Oh John you can't tell me you haven't
seen it coming.  The way those two fight, it's just
like Bo and Hope."

"But, she's just a little girl."

"John."

"Marlana."

"She's not a little girl anymore."

"She'll always be my little girl."

"We'll discuss this with her later, help me wake her
up."

"Izzy, Izzy, wake up honey."  "Belle wake up."

"No, Shawn."

By this time Belle is crying in her sleep, tears
running down her face."

"Sssshhh, honey Shawn's going to be ok, come on wake
up for your mother and I."

"Daddy?"

"Yea, honey, come on wake up, you were just having a
nightmare."

"No it wasn't just a nightmare, Shawn was there and we
were playing hide and seek, one minute he was there
and the next he was gone.  I have to see him, I have
to know that he is ok."

She gets up to leave, but John stops her.

"Honey I don't think that, that is a good idea,
Shawn's still in ICU, they won't let you in."

"I don't care I just have to see that he's ok, that
he's still alive."

"Izzy, I don't."

But it's too late, John takes off after, but Marlana
stops him.

"No John, let her go, she needs this right now."

"But."

"No, come on sit down her with me."

Chapter 2

Belle has now wondered into Shawn's ICU room.  The
nurse is just getting ready to leave the room when she
notices Belle standing there with a tearstained face.

Nurse: Honey are you ok, is Shawn a friend of yours?

Belle nods yes.

Nurse: Would you like to sit with him for awhile?  

Belle: Is.is he going to be ok?

Nurse: Well he's really sore right now and has quite a
few bumps and bruises, but I think he'll be just fine.
You know they say that people get better faster if
they have their loved one's voice to listen to.  

Belle: How do you know that I love him?

Nurse: I could see it in yours the minute you walked
in the door.  Sit, talk, tell him how much you love
him.

The nurse turns to leave and Belle sits down beside
Shawn's bed, taking his had in hers.

Belle: Hay Brady, since when did you think you could
fly?  

No response

Belle: Boy you really had everyone worried. 
Espec.especially me, I, god I didn't realize it until
last night but I don't know what I would do without
you there in my life.  I mean who would call me
perfect girl.

By this time Belle's tears have started to flow again.

Belle: Shawn, I think, I didn't realize that, oh god
this is so hard.  You know when you first got back
into town all I could think of was what a pain you
where. Mr. Macho, no one was getting close to Shawn-D,
sorry Shawn, just Shawn.  I couldn't figure out why
you infuriated me so much.  You knew how to push all
of my buttons.  Then last night I had a dream, it made
me realize that I was. This is so hard I've never told
anyone this before except my family.  Ok, I'll just
come out and say it.  "I love you Shawn, I love you."

Belle lets her tears flow as she lays her head down on
Shawn's chest and listens to his heartbeat.

Shawn: P.Per. perfect Girl, love you too.

Belle lifts her head up, a smile on her face.  Unsure
she heard his whisper right.
Belle: Shawn?

Shawn: Yea, Belle, I love you too.

Belle lifts her head up to meet Shawn's lips.  Their
first his so soft, sweet and gentle.

Belle: Don't ever leave me Shawn Brady, don't ever
leave me.

Shawn: I promise Belle I promise.

Epilogue

6 months later

"Shawn, Shawn Brady, where are you?"  Belle giggles in
a teasing voice.  "Come out come out wherever you
are." 

Shawn peaks around the corner of an old Oak tree.

"If I were Shawn Brady where would I be?  I know! 
Could you be hiding behind that Oak tree over there."

Belle runs over there and as she is circling the tree,
Shawn sneaks up behind her picks her up, spins her
around and gives her a long kiss on the lips. 

"I thought you would never find me Belle."

"I'll never want to loose you Shawn."

"You'll never loose me, not ever, not ever."

Shawn and Belle's lips come together, soft at first
and a little more passionate as the kiss deepens.

 "Come on kids, it's time to eat."

"John, let them be."

"Alice is right, they can come over and eat when they
are ready."

"I don't know Marlana, maybe I should go over and get
them."

"Bo leave them alone, they have had a rough couple of
months lately, Marlana is right they'll come over and
eat when they are ready.  Remember what it was like
when you and I first fell in love?"

"But were never hat bad Hope."

"Brady who are you trying to kid."  

Bo pulls her into his arms and gives her a long
lingering kiss.

"And I remember us being that bad John when we first
fell in love."

"I still don't fell comfortably about my little girl."

John trails off a Marlana gives him a passionate kiss.

Alice Horton gazed at each of the three couples and
looks towards the sky.  

"Their finally happy Tom, all 6 of them have had such
a rough couple years and their finally happy and
together, I love you Tom Horton."
