Chapter One
Two individuals (names revealed later) are driving towards Salem. It has
been years since they have been "home". The time of year is one week
before Thanksgiving.
Male: I can't believe we are almost there.
Female: Yeah I know, I think it has been almost 8 years! I wonder what
has changed.
Male: I wonder if anyone will recognize us, or even if we will recognize
them.
Female: I know there are a few people in Salem that I can't wait to see!
(Pulling into town)
Female: Man, this place has changed. I think we should go to the Brady
Pub, at least we know that won't be too different.
Male: Ok, do you think we'll see anyone we know there?
Female: Well there should be a few familiar faces there.
(Outside the Pub)
Male: Well are you ready to do this?
Female: Ready as I'll ever be, I guess.
Male: You go in first.
Female: No, you go in first.
Male: No, ladies first.
Female: Since when have you started calling me a lady?
Male: Since NOW, why are you so scared to go in?
Female: Me? Scared, NOT...why are you?
Male: I'm not, it is just that it has been a long time since we've been
here.
Female: Well, when we were younger, we could both fit through this door
at the same time, lets do that again I guess.
Male: Alright....Here goes nothing.
(As the door opens and they walk in Caroline is carrying food to a side
booth, looking up to greet who is coming through the door.....)
Caroline: Welcome to the .... OOOHHHH ....... she screams and drops the
plates.
Shawn: What is it Caroline? Are you ok?
Caroline: Shawn look at who just walked in that door. I can't
believe.....
Shawn: Oh my....well....how in the world are you? Come in have a seat.
Chapter Two
Male: Thanks Grandpa.
Female: Sorry we scared you Grandma. We thought you'd be excited to see
us, but we didn't want to scare you.
Caroline: That is alright Stephanie, it is just we haven't seen you in 8
years. How is your mom? Is Kayla coming too?
Shawn: Yeah, and Andrew, what about Kimmy is she coming?
Andrew: I don't know if mom is going to try to make it here this
Thanksgiving or not. Steph and I thought we would surprise everyone and
come to visit.
Stephanie: Grandma, I don't know if my mom is going to make it either,
she said with the memories of Dad, that it might be too hard to return
this time of year.
Caroline: Where are you staying? Did anyone know you were coming to town?
Andrew: Only our parents knew we were coming, and I think we are going to
stay at the hotel down the road.
Shawn: Oh no, my grandchildren are not staying anywhere but here at the
pub. Andrew you can have Shawn's old room upstairs, and Steph, you can
sleep in the guest room in the back.
Stephanie: Thanks Grandma, but we don't want to be an inconvenience if we
decide to stay longer than the holidays.
Caroline: Longer than the holidays? Are you saying you are thinking of
moving back to Salem?
Andrew: Well, we thought about it. We figured with this being our senior
year in High School, that we could graduate from the town we were born
in.
Stephanie: I thought about trying to rent the old apartment that mom and
dad stayed in. Wasn't it like a basement apartment down the road from
here?
Shawn: Why, yes it is one block from here, and you wouldn't have to rent
it. We still own it, we'd let you stay there for free.
Stephanie: (Hugs Shawn)Thanks Grandpa, you're the best!
Caroline: Andrew? You could maybe stay here till you found a place, I
know that Shawn wouldn't mind you taking his old room, and I know that I
would love to have your help around here.
Andrew: Sounds like a job offer to me. I'll take it. As long as you think
it will be ok with Shawn
(Walking in the front door of the pub with Phillip)
Shawn D: As long as what is ok with Shawn?
Caroline: If we let this young man stay in your old room upstairs.
Shawn D: My room? Your going to let this stranger live in my old room
(Andrew turns to face Shawn)
Andrew: Stranger? Is that what your call your cousin these days??
Shawn D: Oh my God, Andy? is that really you? I didn't recognize
you....last time I saw you we were 9 years old, and you had brown
hair...but then again I guess things change.
Phillip: Hi, I'm Phillip. I am Shawn's best friend, and well in a way his
uncle too.
(Looking Stephanie up and down) Who's the babe? oh sorry...is she your
girlfriend?
Stephanie: (Turning around) Not hardly. I am Stephanie Johnson. His
COUSIN, NOT his girlfriend. (hugs Shawn D) Hey Shawn, long time no see.
How are ya?
Shawn D: I'm great! Looks like I'm going to have to fight off all the
punks of Salem with you back in town! I can't believe how much you have
changed. Have you seen Abby yet? I know she would love to know your here!
Did she even know you were coming? I can't believe you didn't let anyone
know or at least let me know....I thought I was your best friend.
Stephanie: You are my best friend, but Andrew and I thought this would be
the best surprise! Well I'm going to go help grandma and grandpa in the
kitchen, and then head over to Uncle Jack and Aunt Jenn's. Later. Nice to
meet you Phillip.
Phillip: Yeah, you to Steph.
Chapter Three
(Shawn D, Phillip and Andrew sit in a booth)
Phillip: WOW, I didn't know you Brady's could have such hot family
members. And you know I am not blood related to her....and I bet she'd
love a date with me...
Shawn D: Don't be so stuck on yourself Phil. She's my cousin...which
means she has a brain.
Andrew: And besides why do you think we'd "Let" her date you anyway?
Phillip: "Let" her date me? Who are you two, her keepers?
Shawn D: You could say that. I told her I was going to keep the punks
away from her.
Phillip: So now my best friend is calling me a punk?
Shawn D: No, I just know how you are...and besides what about Chloe?
Phillip: What about her? She keeps changing her mind about me...one
minute she acts like she likes me, and the next she acts like she
doesn't. I want a woman that knows what she wants.
Andrew: Do you really think there are any women that know what they want?
Especially our age?
Shawn D: I don't think so...but I sure hope one day we can figure them
out. (Thinking of Belle) *****Flash back*****
Belle: Shawn, can I tell you something.
Shawn: Sure you can tell me anything.
Belle: I, um, well....
Shawn: What Belle?
Belle: (Moving closer to him) I, um....have to tell you something
Shawn: (Grabs her hand) You've said that already.....its ok, whatever it
is, you can tell me. Belle: I sure hope so.
Shawn: What do you mean by that. (Cups her chin in his hand and lifts her
head so there eyes meet...He wants to kiss her but is afraid of what she
will say)
Belle: I think there is something you should know.
Shawn: Really what is that? (moving closer to her lips)
Belle: (Heart racing) {Thinking to self: Come on Belle, just tell him
that you are in love with him, it can't be all that scary, and what is
the least he can do...laugh....yeah that is the worst he could do to....}
Nothing Shawn it isn't that important after all.
(Their lips were almost touching....then she pulled away and turned her
back to him)
Shawn: {Thinking to self: I can't believe this....I thought she was going
to tell me she loved me, wish I had the guts to just tell her how I feel
for her....I mean the electricity between us just now was so strong....We
were so close to a kiss...}(Touches Belle's shoulder) Is it something I
said? or did? Belle I don't want you to be uncomfortable with me.
Belle: No Shawn, it isn't you. It is me. I just don't know anymore....I'm
so confused.

Shawn D: Women are so confusing, one minute you want to kiss them, and
the next you want to strangle them.
Phillip: Who are you talking about Shawn? Is there a girl who caught your
eye lately?
Andrew: Must be, look at him...he looks like he is in love....but with
who?
Shawn D: (Snapping out of his daze) No I don't, I don't look like I'm in
love....and besides if I was, it isn't your business.
Phillip: I know who it is....You've fallen for Belle.
Andrew: Belle? Belle Black?? You've got it for Belle?
Shawn D: No come on...get real....we've been like brothers and sisters
all our life...there is NO way I have fallen for Belle. (Thinking to
self: Man is it that obvious? Only if Belle could see it, but wait....if
she can see it she might laugh at me....as to how we are like brother and
sister)
Andrew: The last time I saw Belle she was what....7 years old.....she was
pretty cute then...and you know Shawn...you too promised to get married
one day....maybe God is going to hold you to that promise.
Shawn D: Well, Andrew, if my memory serves me correctly...you made the
same promise to a girl that day too...is God going to hold you to your
promise?
Andrew: She probably doesn't even remember that....
Phillip: Well if you did, she might have too....besides who did you
promise to marry?
Andrew: No one.
Shawn D: He promised......Naw, I won't tell...I don't want you to try to
play matchmaker Phil. And besides....She has a boyfriend right now.
Phillip: She has a boyfriend right now? Let me think....she had to have
lived in Salem when you were younger....so OH I know...Its Abby....Andrew
asked Abby to marry him.
Andrew: So....what if I did...we were only kids, and besides she wouldn't
remember me now, and it isn't like it was set in stone. And Shawn said
she has a boyfriend
Phillip: Yeah, but that could change.
Chapter Four
Later that day at Abby's house:
*Ding Dong*
Abby: I'll get it. (Opens the door) Oh my gosh....Steph how are you????
Stephanie: I'm great how are you?
Abby: I can't believe you are in Salem. When did you get here? Why didn't
you tell me you were coming...how long are you here? Oh gosh where are my
manners...Come in....
Stephanie: I got here about 5 hours ago, I wanted to surprise you with my
visit...and I am staying to graduate from Salem High.
Abby: You are staying to graduate? How cool! I can't believe we will get
to spend the rest of the school year together...there is so much we've
got to catch up on...you have to meet my boyfriend, and Oh,
gosh.....where are you going to stay? Do you want to stay with us?
Stephanie: Grandpa Shawn is going to let me stay at my parents old
basement apartment by the pub, but I thank you for the invitation. You
have a boyfriend? You didn't tell me about him in any letters. How long
have you been together?
Abby: Oh...about 2 months. I've been so wrapped up with Algebra homework,
Chemistry Labs and all that stuff that I haven't had time to write much
in my emails about him....Oh Steph...he is the greatest, and man does he
have a body.
Stephanie: Well.....I guess I'll have to meet me a man so I'll "fit in"
around here. But I did meet someone on the way here....and Damn was he
fine.
Abby: Tell me about him...maybe I know him....
Stephanie: Well....He is tall, has blondish brown hair, deep blue
eyes...and man is he BUILT. Oh he makes my heart melt...
******Flashback******
Steph: (Bumps into Brady) Oh sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going.
Brady: That's ok....I don't mind bumping into pretty things like you.
Steph: (blushing)You probably say that to all the girls you run into
don't you?
Brady: No, usually the girls around here watch where they are going.
Steph: (smirks)Very Funny.
Brady: Where are you headed in such a hurry anyway?
Steph: I'm on my way to my cousins house, it has been years since I've
seen her, and I was just taking in the sites of Salem on my way. I am
really sorry I wasn't watching where I was going.
Brady: Well like I said, I didn't mind that you weren't paying attention.
Maybe I'll see you around sometime....*winks at her*
Steph: Yeah, well maybe.....bye...
******End of Flashback*****
Stephanie: I didn't even ask him his name....but man Abby...I felt
something when I bumped into him....it was like lightening struck my
soul.
Abby: Wow....It must have been some hotty...for you to feel that
way....Maybe I can figure out who he is, and hook you two up...since you
will be here for sometime...and then we could double date.
Stephanie: Yeah well, don't get too far ahead of yourself. Like I
said....we don't even know each others names...but there is something
familiar about him
*Phone Rings*
Jack: (hollers down the stairs) Abby, its for you.
Abby: Hello?
Belle: Hey whats up?
Abby: Not much, just sittin here talking to my cousin Stephanie.
Belle: How can you be? Your dad answered the phone and so you aren't on
the computer.
Abby: Silly she is in town. Duh...Actually she will be staying in Salem
till graduation.
Belle: That is cool....Hey why don't we meet at DotCom later tonight?
Abby: Sure that is cool with me....hold on let me ask Steph. (turns to
Steph), Hey do you want to go with me and Belle to DotCom later?
Stephanie: Sure I guess, what is that....?
Abby: It is a teen hangout, its kinda like a Barnes and Noble
Bookstore...but all the teens from Salem High hang there. Maybe that guy
you met will be there.
Steph: Ok....I'll go to the Pub and get changed. What time should we
meet?
Abby: Belle, what time do you want to meet? Ok....I'll see you at 7:30.
Alright...Bye.
Steph: (hollers upstairs) Bye Uncle Jack! Love ya! (hugs Abby) I'll see
you at 7:30.
Abby: Bye, see you then.
(Jack comes running down the stairs as Abby closes the door)
Jack: Who was that? Uncle Jack? Does that mean Stephanie is in town?
Abby: Yeah dad...and she's staying till graduation.
Jack: I wonder if Kayla is coming too? She'll never believe me when I
tell what we found in Australia last summer.
Abby: You mean you never called to tell them?
Jack: No, I mean...I wanted to, but I didn't want to get Kayla's hopes
up.
Abby: Dad...She needs to know.....
Jack: Soon enough Abby....she'll find out soon enough.
Chapter Five
(At DotCom, the girls - Abby, Stephanie, Belle, Chloe and Mimi are at one
table, and the boys -Shawn, Phillip, and Jason are at another.)
Belle: Hey Steph, I'm Belle, these are my friends Chloe Lane and Mimi
Lockheart.
Stephanie: Hey.
Chloe: Hey...where are you from?
Stephanie: Well I was born in Salem, lived here till I was 9 and then
when my dad died my mom and I moved to L.A.
Mimi: Your dad died? That must have been awful.
Stephanie: Yeah it was, but you know...sometimes I feel like he is still
alive.
Abby: Why do you say that?
Stephanie: I don't know...I just have this feeling sometimes like a part
of him is trying to tell me something. I know it sounds weird, but I
guess it is wishful thinking.
Abby: Maybe. (thinking to self) She doesn't know about Australia cuz I
didn't tell her...could she know?
Stephanie: So Belle...Abby says she has a boyfriend...do you? And Chloe
what about you and you to Mimi.
Mimi: No, I don't have a boyfriend...every guy I like is either taken, or
someone else likes him, so I don't bother with it (makes funny smirk to
Belle)
Belle: Well no I don't have a boyfriend. There is this guy that I like,
but I am afraid if I told him that he would laugh at me. I tried to tell
him once, but I don't know....I thought he was going to kiss me and that
scared me...and like I said, I think he'd laugh if I told him. We've
known each other all our lives.
Stephanie: Who is he Belle?
Belle: I'm not going to say...you might laugh too.
Stephanie: No I won't...who is he?
Belle: I'll tell you later (looks over at Shawn), I don't think I want to
be embarrassed about it tonight.
Chloe: Well as for me, I guess I have a man...but there are times I feel
awkward around him. I guess it is because of the bet.
Stephanie: The bet? What are you talking about.
Mimi: Well see, Shawn and Phillip made a bet last year....and the loser
of the bet had to ask Chloe to the Last Blast Dance.
Stephanie: The loser? What kind of thing was that...Chloe you're
beautiful.
Chloe: Well see at that time I was new to town, and I stuck out like a
sore thumb.
Abby: Yeah you could say that. She dressed in all black, and wore these
funky glasses.
Mimi: We feel so ashamed now...we all called her Ghoul Girl and teased
her pretty bad.
Stephanie: You told me about her in some of your letters Abby. But you
never said anything about a bet. And besides...I can't see Shawn making
that kind of bet.
Belle: What do you mean? Do you even know Shawn?
Stephanie: Do I even know Shawn? My gosh.... He is my cousin you know? We
are like or were like best of friends when we were growing up.
Anyway...who took you to the dance?
Chloe: Well Phillip did. See he says that he started to like me before
the bet was finished, so he threw the last video game so he could take me
to the dance. Sometimes I believe him, and sometimes I don't.
Stephanie: What do you mean? When do you and don't you?
Chloe: When he kisses me...I feel like he really cares...but then....I
don't know I guess the thoughts of him having to make a bet to date me is
what is upsetting.
Belle: You've kissed Phillip?
Chloe: Yeah......(blushing)
Mimi: You never told us that.
Abby: I can't believe you haven't told us about your first kiss with
Phillip.
Chloe: Well it has been more than kisses.
*****Flashback*****
Phillip and Chloe are in the park kissing.
Phillip: Chloe....(he says breathlessly)
Chloe: Yes?
Phillip: (he pulls her on his lap) I really want you to know how much I
love you.
Chloe: (kisses his neck) Well you can show me if you want to
Phillip: How else do you want me to show you? I buy you roses, take you
to nice dinners....show you off too all my friends.
Chloe: How else do you think I want you to show me? (Pulls him close to
her, and slips her hand under his shirt.
Phillip: You don't think it is too early? (As he unbuttons her shirt)
Chloe: Not if you really love me it isn't.
Phillip: I do love you Chloe, I promise to show you that for as long as I
live.

Shawn: Hey, the girls look like they are in a heated conversation over
there.
Phillip: They must be talking about us.
Jason: Man, Phil, you have an ego thing or something...you always think
they are talking about you.
Phillip: No, I said they might be talking about US. (smacks Jason on back
of head) Duh....
Shawn: Hey...lets not act stupid in front of them.
Phillip: Oh yeah, I forgot, you want one of them to KNOW you exist.
Shawn: Shut up Phil!
Jason: One of them? (Looks over at the table) Lets see...Mimi...No.
Abby...no she is dating Brady. Belle....maybe but something would have
happened by now..... Oh it must be that new chick with them. Man she is
fine. Her long blonde hair...her gorgeous green eyes....and man look at
her butt...she is fine. Wonder who she is?
Shawn: No it isn't the new "chick". And don't talk about her that
way...man Jason you don't even know her
Jason: Yeah and like you do Shawn.
Phillip: Well actually.....he does Jason. She is his cousin.
Jason: His cousin? How many people in this town are you related to?
Shawn: Shut up man. Yes she is my cousin. Her and Andrew, my other cousin
who should be here any minute now, came in to town today.
Phillip: He's really cool too Jason, you'd like him.
Andrew walks up and says: Really... he'd like who? Me?
Phillip: Yeah, you...what's up?
Andrew: Nothing, I like to have never found this place. Steph had to meet
the girls here at 7:30 and wouldn't wait for me to tag along with her.
Phillip: Well do you see who is with her?
Andrew: Yeah I see her. Man she is more beautiful than I remember.
Jason: Who are you talking about? When did you meet anyone from Salem?
Andrew: I lived in Salem a long time ago....and don't you worry about who
I am talking about.
Jason: Man...I think I like hangin with Jan more than you guys...she at
least gives me names of people when she talks about them.
Shawn: Do you think we should go over and talk to the girls?
Phillip: What would it hurt? I mean....last I knew Chloe and I were on
good terms (remembering what happened the weekend before)
Andrew: I don't know. I don't think I can talk to her just yet.
Abby: Oh my God. Stephanie...you didn't tell me he was here!
Belle: Who? Who is hear? (Turning around to see Andrew) Oh my Abby...how
long has it been since you've seen him?
Chloe and Mimi together: Who are you talking about?
Mimi: That guy with Shawn is really good looking.
Abby: Yeah he is mighty fine. Oh my.. did I just say that? I can't
believe I said that....I do have a boyfriend.
Stephanie: Seems you haven't forgotten him, huh Abbs?
Abby: No how could I?
Belle: I can't believe this...it is like old times.....Do you remember
that day Abby? The day they promised to marry us?
Abby: Like it was yesterday! But we were only kids Belle...I don't think
they remember, and besides it was like a game.
Mimi: Who? What? Huh? I'm lost here.
Chloe: Yeah me too.....
Stephanie: I'll fill you and Chloe in on this later.....I just can't
believe the sparks between Andy and Abbs right now.
Abby: Sparks? Shut up Steph...It has been a long time...and besides...how
many times do I have to remind you about my boyfriend.
Stephanie: Well....if there aren't any sparks...why don't you go talk to
him, while I go outside and get some air.
Chapter Six
Jack: I need room 208 please. Thank you.
Man: Hello?
Jack: Hey this is Billy Johnson. Do you remember me?
Man: Yes I remember you.
Jack: Have you thought about what we talked about last summer?
Man: Yes.
Jack: Did you get the pictures I sent you?
Man: Yes.
Jack: Do you remember anything?
Man: Yes. I want to come home and see my wife and daughter. It has been
long enough.
Jack: How do I know it is really you?
Man: Because I have the knife tattoo on my right shoulder, and I called
my wife Sweetness....and our sister Adrienne is the one who realized that
you, Jack Deavoroux was our long lost brother Billy. Now.... Get me the
hell out of here.
Jack: I didn't give you all that information before...and how did you
figure out my real name?
Steve: Because....damn it...I'm your brother and I am ready to return to
Salem and reclaim my life. Are you coming to get me or not?
Jack: I'll be there in One week....is that ok?
Steve: Yes.....hurry man.....I'm ready to return!
Outside the pub Stephanie is fumbling through her purse. Walking
backwards she bumps in to something or someone
Brady: Hey watch where you're going.
Stephanie (turning around) I am so sorry, I was looking for....
Brady: Well this must be my lucky day
Stephanie: What? Oh my gosh...I can't believe I did it again.
Brady: That's alright, (helping her pick up stuff split from her purse) I
told you once today that I don't mind running into pretty things like
you.
Stephanie: I was looking for.....oh thanks......as he lights her
cigarette.
Brady: Next time you need a light, just ask me...you don't have to tackle
me for it.
Stephanie: Well I might remember that.
Brady: If I didn't know any better I would think you were running into me
on purpose.
Stephanie: Why would you say that?
Brady: Well twice in the same day? Why wouldn't I think that.
Stephanie: Well...I was a little rude when we met earlier today, why
don't you come into DotCom and we'll get to know each other better.
Brady: No, I don't hang out there, all the preppie goodie goodies from
school hang out there.
Stephanie: Do you go to Salem High?
Brady: Yeah, but you don't. Are you from Salem University?
Stephanie: No. I just moved back from LA. I'll be a Senior when I get
transferred.
Brady: Hey, why don't we go to the docks? We could have some privacy
there, and I could get to know more about you.
Stephanie: Can I trust you? I mean I don't even know your name.
Brady: Well...I promise you that in Salem you will never be safer with
anyone other than me. Pretty thing, after we get to the docks...you'll
know all you've ever wanted to know about me.
Stephanie: Ok...handsome....I'll go with you.
Inside the pub Andrew and Shawn were walking to the girls table as Belle
and Abby were walking to the boys table.
Belle: Oh Abby...they are coming this way.
Abby: If I didn't know any better Belle, I would think you got it for
Shawn.
Belle: Well you just keep that idea to yourself ok?
Shawn: Keep what idea to herself, perfect girl?
Belle: Nothing Tough Boy.
Andrew: Hey Belle. Hi Abby.
Abby: Hi Andy.
Andrew: Um, how are you?
Abby: Uh, fine and you?
Andrew: Good...um....can we talk?
Abby: Yeah, I'd like that. There is a corner booth that is a little
private, lets go over there.
Shawn: Well you two, um, I guess Belle and I will um...uh.
Belle: We'll be uh over here...ok?
Andrew & Abby: Sure, whatever.
Chapter Seven
Shawn: Gee, did you see the sparks between them two?
Belle: Yeah, its like no time has past. Like things are just like they
were when we were kids.
Shawn: Things could be that way again.
Belle: What do you mean.
Shawn: Belle, there is something I need to tell you, and I don't want you
to laugh at me.
Belle: Ok, I'm all ears....
Shawn: Lets go talk somewhere where it can be just us...ok?
Belle: Sure.
Phillip and Jason are sitting with Mimi and Chloe.
Phillip: (puts arm around Chloe) How's my girl?
Chloe: I'm fine Phil. What were you guys talking about over there?
Jason: Don't ask me...they wouldn't even tell me who they were talking
about over there.
Mimi: Yeah...same here. I know that Belle likes someone, but don't know
who. I know that Abby and Andrew have some kind of past but don't know
what. And then we learned that you and Chloe. (Chloe kicks her under the
table)OOOWWWWW.
Phillip: Learned that me and Chloe what?
Mimi: (stuttering) well that you and Chloe um
Chloe: That you and I are an exclusive item now. (she kisses him)
Phillip: Well...its about time you start letting people know that.
Jason: Gee Meems I think they need to get a room.
Mimi: Yeah...and I think we need to get someone too Jason. (She looks at
Jason and can't believe what she is thinking)
Jason: (Thinking to self) Mimi is right, I need a girlfriend...after Jan
and I broke up I just haven't thought about dating anyone else. (Looking
at Mimi) Maybe I should ask Mimi for a date.
Mimi: Maybe Jason will ask me out. I know he and Jan just broke up...but
he can still date.
Jason: Mimi, would you like to um, go for a walk?
Mimi: Yeah....lets get out of here.
Chapter Eight
Andrew: You look great Abby.
Abby: Thanks Andrew. You do too.
Andrew: Did you tell anyone about us getting together a few months ago?
Abby: No. I kept that as our secret.
Andrew: Yeah, me too. Um...I hear things are different now though

Abby: I know I have a boyfriend, but....are things really that different?
Andrew: Well Abby what do you think? Do you honestly think I can make

Abby: No. Just I don't know. That night seems to stay fresh in my mind

As they leave, they stop by Phillip and Chloe
Andrew: Where did everyone go?
Phillip: Belle and Shawn went to Pier 8, Mimi and Jason went to the park,
and I don't know what happened to Steph, she never came back in.
Abby: I hope she is ok.
Andrew: You know her Abby, she is pretty street-smart like her dad was.
There is nothing to worry about.
Chloe: We noticed things were a little intense over there....everything
ok?
Abby: (blushing) yeah....we um...are um...going to talk.
Phillip: Yeah...looks like a lot of talking was happening over there too.
Andrew: Shut up Phil. Well we're out of here.
Abby: If Steph comes back...tell her that I'll talk to her tomorrow ok?

Brady: Well the name sparked a memory....but the kiss....that settled it.

Brady: Um.....Oh nothing...its not important. (He picks her up, she wraps
her legs around his waist and they begin to kiss again)
On the Pier:
Belle: Look at the moonlight on the water.
Shawn: Yeah...kind of romantic isn't it?
Belle: Romantic? Are you gettin soft on me Tough Boy?
Shawn: Um...I might be....(as he takes her hand)
Belle: Oh...(thinking...he's holding my hand....calm down...breathe....)
Shawn: (thinking to self...ok...she didn't pull her hand away....maybe
it's ok to tell her) Do you remember the last time we were here?
Belle: Yeah...(remembering the night she was going to tell him she loved
him)
Shawn: Me too. Anyway....you look really pretty tonight. I mean the way

Belle: (blushing) thanks Shawn (does he mean it?)
Shawn: Turn and look at me Belle. (She turns and faces him. He cups her
chin in his hand, pulls her head so their eyes meet) I want you to know

Belle: (breathing a little harder in anticipation that he MIGHT kiss her)

Shawn: This....(as he slides one arm around her waist and the his other
hand is on the back of her head....and he kisses her) {thinking to

him even closer, they don't stop until they need a break for air.)

Belle: I love you Shawn. I always have! I wanted to tell you the night we
were here a few months ago...but now...I think you love me too!

Shawn: I'm not too sure...but I hope where ever it is....that we'll be

Chapter Nine
A week has past. It is now Thanksgiving day. Abby and Andrew made love
that night at Steph's apartment. Brady and Stephanie walked in to the
apartment and saw that Andrew was in bed with someone...Stephanie knew it
was Abby...but Brady has no clue. Brady hasn't told Stephanie about his
girlfriend, but thinks something is going on with her anyway...since she
hasn't called him for a week.
Stephanie decides it is time to confront Abby about what happened that
night at her apartment.
Stephanie: Abby, we need to talk.
Abby: About what Steph?
Stephanie: I know that was you at my apartment last week.
Abby: (blushing) what are you talking about.
Stephanie: Don't play dumb with me Abbs, I know you.... why are you
keeping it from me, I'm supposed to be your best friend.
Abby: Oh, Steph you are my best friend...but I didn't want word to get
out that I am a virgin anymore.
Stephanie: Was that your first time?
Abby: Honestly?
Stephanie: Yeah...honestly
Abby: No...
Stephanie: Oh...you mean you've had sex with your boyfriend too?
Abby: No...Andrew and I got together in St. Louis in August this year.
Stephanie: What? You mean...huh...why didn't you tell me before?
Abby: I didn't know what you would think about me....I mean....I didn't
want you to be mad that I was with your cousin.
Stephanie: What are you going to do now? Have you broke up with your
boyfriend?
Abby: No not yet. Whenever I call him, Belle says he is out with his new
friend. And
whenever he calls me...I'm with Andrew. I guess he and I need to get
together and at least talk about what is happening.
Stephanie: Belle says? You mean your boyfriend is Belle's brother?
Abby: Yeah! I've been dating Brady since school started this year.
Stephanie: (mad that Brady didn't tell her he had a girlfriend, even
madder that she didn't realize it was Abby) Have you and Brady been
intimate?
Abby: No...he hasn't even kissed me...I wonder if we just got together so
I could keep my mind off of Andy.
Stephanie: (relieved that it won't kill her best friend when she finds
out the rest of what happened that night, and what has been happening
since....)Well, I um found out who that guy is that I bumped into the
other day.
Abby: You did? Who is he? do I know him?
Stephanie: Yeah, you do (Cell phone rings) Hello? Oh hi mom. You're at
the pub? I didn't think you were coming. Huh? Uncle Jack's surprise? No,
I know nothing about it...(glaring at Abby for keeping yet another
secret) Ok...I'll be there in an hour, I'm going to the apartment to
change first ok? Alright. .I love you too. Bye. (Turns to Abby) I can't
believe my mom is in town, and your dad has a surprise for us? And you
kept that from me too? Well, I hate to cut our conversation short...but I
gotta go get ready for dinner...I guess we'll see you at the Pub?
Abby: Yeah, I guess you will!
Jack: Well...are you ready to be reunited with your family?
Steve: Of course. I can't wait to see my Sweetness, and my baby.
Jack: I can't believe your still alive...I mean...after all these
years...
Steve: Well you know how Stefano works.....he kept me captive for 8
years. When I escaped I went to Australia to hide. If you wouldn't have

Brady: Well that is all he better be doing with my little sister. (He
stomps out of her room)

In Shawn's old room at the pub
Andrew: Shawn, what am I going to do? I am so in love with Abby I can't
see straight.
Shawn: Well, I don't know man. Have you told her?
Andrew: Yeah, I told her....and from what happened the other night, I
think she knows.
Shawn: What do you mean...what happened the other night?
Andrew: Well....things got a little um...I guess you could say hot and
heavy....
Shawn: Oh my gosh...you guys had sex? When? Where? What about Brady?
Andrew: What about who?
Shawn: Her boyfriend....Oh.... you didn't know her boyfriend was Brady?
Andrew: No I didn't know she was dating Brady Black. I knew she had a
boyfriend when I got here, but I didn't know it was him. Oh man...this
makes things worse.

Andrew: Well the night that we got into town, and you left DotCom with
Belle? That is the night Abby and I made love, again. But see, we were at
Steph's apartment. And Steph walked in with someone and caught us in the
act. Stephanie was embarrassed so she left, but before she walked out the
door said she would be back in one hour. Abby hurried and got dressed

Stephanie is walking to her apartment and bumps into Brady.
Stephanie: We have to stop meeting like this (giggling)
Brady: (Kisses her) Hey baby....I'm in a hurry...I've something I have to
take care of.
Stephanie: No Brady wait. We have to talk first.
Brady: Babe, it has to wait this is important.
Stephanie: No Brady....if you care anything about me you will listen to
what I have to say.
Brady: You know I care about you Steph.
Stephanie: (starts crying) Then why didn't you tell me you were dating my
cousin?
Brady: Your who?
Stephanie: My cousin...you didn't tell me you had a girlfriend, let alone
that it was Abby! I can't believe you! (She smacks him across the face)
Brady: I guess I do deserve that. But Steph, I tried to tell you. That
first night, at the docks. I wanted to tell you, but it felt so right to
have you in my arms. Like lightening struck my soul and it was meant for
us to be together.
Stephanie: But you could have told me that night. If I would have known,
then things would be different. I mean we wouldn't have...
Brady: We wouldn't have what? Shared that kiss? Spent the best days of my
entire life together this week? Stephanie, all I can think of these days

Brady: That's ok...It sure is better than the black eye you gave me

Stephanie: Abby has been seeing someone else too.
Brady: (confused) What?
Stephanie: Don't be mad. I just figured it out earlier today. My cousin
Andrew came to town with me. And he and Abby have a past together. plus,
Abby is the one who was in bed with Andrew at my apartment that night.
Brady: I knew Abby lost her virginity to Andy 3 months ago, but I didn't
realize that was Abby in bed with him that night...Oh man.

don't think she realized it, but that is why I never really cared for

(Cell Phone Rings)
Stephanie: Hello? Abby....We um....hold on.... (Looks at Brady) I think
she might be ok if I explain what is going on.

Stephanie: Abby.....um.....You know how we were talking about the guy I
have been seeing.
Abby: Yeah....what, what is it?
Stephanie: I didn't realize it until we were talking at your house
earlier...Oh God Abbs, don't hate me...

everything before dinner. But now it is all out in the open. Does Brady

Abby: Seems we both knew all along it wasn't going to work out huh?
Brady: Yeah...I knew you'd given your heart to Andy...so I didn't want to

Brady: (Looks at Steph and smiles) I won't Abby, I can promise you that!
Abby: Well, I have to get over to the pub to meet Andy.
Brady: Well, I will see you there then, cause I am Stephanie's date.

Brady: Bye. (turning to Stephanie) Well, that went better than I thought

Chapter Eleven
At the Pub. Brady and Stephanie, Shawn and Belle, Andrew and Abby are at
one table. Kayla, Bo and Hope, Roman and Billie, Shawn and Caroline are
at another table.
Kayla: I wonder what is keeping Jack so long with his surprise.
Bo: I wonder what it is.
Abby: You'll know soon enough.
Stephanie: Do you know what it is Abby?
Abby: It isn't a what it is a who.
Door opens to the pub and a Jack, Jennifer, and the man in a ski mask
walk through the door.
Jack: Hey ya'll sorry we're late.
Jenn: I couldn't figure out what to wear for this occasion..
Kayla: What occasion would this be?
Steve: This sweetness.....(as he takes off the ski mask)
Stephanie: Oh my God.....
Kayla: What? (shaking her head) NO this is a trick....Jack this isn't
funny. what kind of game are you playing with me?
Steve: It isn't a game Sweetness. It really is me.
Stephanie: I knew you weren't dead Daddy... I just knew it! (Runs and
embraces him)

Steve: When I was in Australia I received an eye through a donor....the
scar is still there from the knife fight when I lost it though.

Steve: In the merchant marines. We became best of friends and went and
got matching tattoos. See...(he shows his right shoulder blade to Bo and
Kayla). We went over this before Brady, when I returned to Salem the
first time and met your sister. Because you thought I was dead at that
time too. I'm telling you....Stefano made you think I was dead all these
years, when I escaped...I went to Australia had the eye surgery.... and
changed my identity. It wasn't until last August when I saw Jack,
Jennifer and Abby on their vacation I was ready to admit who I was.
Stephanie: You saw Abby on vacation last year? (looks at Abby) How many
other secrets have you kept from me the past year Abby?
Abby: Well...you know them all now I promise.
Jack: Look. Kayla...I did tons of investigating before I brought him
home. I made sure it was him. When he told me about Adrienne, I knew it
was true.
Steve: Sweetness, I brought you these....maybe this will let you know
that it really is me.
(He hands her 12 long stemmed Yellow roses)
Kayla: (Starts crying) It has been 9 years since I've been given a yellow

Chapter Twelve
Three months have past. Phillip and Chloe are getting stronger in their
relationship. Chloe knows that Phillip loves her, and she has nothing to
worry about. Stephanie and Brady are living together in Stephanie's
apartment. Andrew and Abby are happy as could be. Belle and Shawn have
been talking about getting engaged and having a wedding right after
graduation. But as for Mimi and Jason.....well that is a different story.
Jason: Well Mimi, what do you think?

Abby: I don't know...It depends on how Andrew feels about it.
(the 4 girls share a group hug...then go out to the Gym for class)
Phillip: Man...I never thought that Chloe and I would be so happy.
Shawn: (Throws basketball at Andrew) I never thought the day would come
that Belle Black might actually marry me.
Andrew: Marry you? Your only 18 years old. I couldn't possibly think of
marriage right now. I mean I love Abby to death, but marriage at our age?
No way man. I want to go to college, get my degree in Criminal Justice

(Phillip gets knocked in the head with the basketball, Phillip charges
Andrew and they start fighting.)

Teacher: Boys, break it up!! BOYS...I said NOW...
Phillip: Man Andrew I was just teasing. Geez can't even take a joke.
Andrew: That wasn't funny.

Teacher: Alright boys, to the principals office...NOW....
Brady: Just a friendly game of basketball, that's all.
Abby: Yeah, right...with a fist fight and all huh?

(Belle and Stephanie walk up to see if everyone is ok)
Shawn: Well we were having a conversation about you and me, Belle.
Belle: Why were they fighting about us?
Shawn: They weren't really...see I was telling him about how we are
talking about getting married...and then Andrew said he doesn't think he
is ready for marriage because of the goals he set for himself.
Brady: Then I asked him what if Abby got pregnant....would he be willing
then....and he said that just wouldn't happen...it couldn't happen....and
then Phillip said "I can see it now....Andrew and Abby having a baby."
Shawn: That's when Andrew pegged Phil in the head with the ball, Phillip
got mad and charged him...and that's when the fight started.
Stephanie: Oh...well...ok....um...Abby....Abby...are you ........... Oh
Catch her.....
(Abby fainted)
Brady: Is she ok?
Chloe: In her condition. I hope so.
Shawn: Her condition? what are you talking about?
Belle: Nothing Shawn....we need to get her to the nurse.
(Abby comes too and grabs her abdomen and screams. The girls calm her
down and take her to the nurses station. The nurse asks her if she hurts
anywhere. Abby says she is just worried the fall might have hurt the
baby.)
Nurse: The baby? Abby are you pregnant?
Abby: (crying) I don't know for sure. I mean, I'm late...about 3 weeks. I
need to take a test.
Nurse: Well...you fell backwards, so if you are pregnant the baby should
be ok. We need to call your parents.
Stephanie: No, that will be ok. My mom is here, we'll let her take us to
the hospital. Is that ok?
Nurse: Sure.
Chapter Thirteen
(At the Hospital)
Abby: Oh, Aunt Kayla...promise you won't say anything to mom and dad
before I can talk to them.
Kayla: I won't Abbs, I promise. But you need to tell them you are
sleeping with Andrew. At least that way maybe if you're not pregnant you
can start the pill.
Abby; Yeah, I guess your right.
Doctor: Well young lady....your pregnant. From the date you gave me of
your last period, you should be about....lets see here.....9 weeks along.
Abby: Nine weeks?
Doctor: Yes...does that sound right?
Abby: Yeah, I guess.....(starts crying) Oh Aunt Kayla what am I going to
do?
Kayla: It'll be ok Abby. Everything will be ok. I know Andrew will do the
right thing.
Abby: I sure hope so Aunt Kayla...I sure hope so.
(In the alley)

under the bar. It is always unlocked during business hours. I want you to
place this inside there, then press the gold star on that package. But
whatever you do...don't touch the star until it is in the safe. You got
it?
Jan: Yeah, I got it...but how is that going to get me my money?
Man: You do this for me...I'll take care of the rest of the money...ok

Jason: Thanks for getting me a job here Andrew, I was needing some extra
cash.
Andrew: Oh hey not a problem. My grandparents need the help around here,
and I think they can trust you.
Shawn: Hey Andrew, what happened after gym class? Did you catch up with
Abby?
Andrew: No, the nurse said Kayla took her to the hospital. What happened
Shawn?
Shawn: I don't know man. We told her about what you and Phil were
fighting about, then she fainted. When she came to...she screamed,
grabbed her belly and started rocking back and forth. Chloe said she
hopes she was ok, because of her condition.
Andrew: Condition? What condition?
Jason: You don't think she's pregnant do you?
Shawn: Hey watch it Jason...those are fighting words with him.
Andrew: Condition? Oh man what if she is pregnant?
