Everybody loves MGB, and why shouldn't they? These boys have certainly been making the grade with their super duper grreat tunes- everything from good old fashioned rock and roll (Hello Time Bomb, Load Me Up, Indestructible) to cool, smooth ballads (Suburbia, Apparitions, The Inescapable Us). Matthew Good Band is proof that modern alternative music can appeal to an extremley diverse (and wide!) range of people. Both of their albums have gone platinum here in their native Canada (specifically from Vancouver, BC) and yet, somehow, the boys manage to mantain a semi-normal lifestyle, successfully avoiding the all to common "swollen head" syndrome of superstars. For me, MGB are comparable to no other- they are my favorite band, and I think that all the members (including Matt and his absolutley amazing voice) have a remarkable talent for making just the kind of music that I (and we all should!) love.
