basic frontside grind- sk8 at the rail at about medium speed and sk8 in fornt of the rail. once in front of the rail jump to where your body is about 4 inches above the rail. throw your body into a half 180 and land on the rail with your feet shoulder width apart. some of the basic mistakes you will make when trying to learn this is 1. put your feet to close together when grinding, this will cause you to fall backwards 2. not get both feet on the rail ( the only way to fix this is to gather all your guts and throw yourself a couple times at the rail till you get both feet on the rail) 3. lose momentum about halfway throught the grind. if this happens either sk8 faster at the rail or wax the rail.
