In Sweetwater, she faces three unforseen complications that not only threaten her plan, but may also force her to re-evaluate her way of living.
The first one is William F. Cody, Chase's first love, who rides for the Pony Express. Billy, as she calls him, wants nothing more than to save his friend from herself.
The second one is Taylor McCann, Chase's former partner-in-crime. Taylor, who has moved to Sweetwater and is engaged to Chris Larabee, knows Chase better than anyone. She is Chase's closest confidant and Chase will do just about anything for her.
The third complication comes in the form of Ezra Standish. Chase can't help but be drawn to the handsome green-eyed gambler. But, can she trust him with her heart?
