Bo and Hope's son was born in 1987, just before his parents bought a boat and the threesome took off for a three-year world cruise. He's been through several possible step-moms. He is currently delighted that his mom, Hope, is back. But he is upset that his parents' recent wedding plans fell apart. Shawn-D had quite a scare when he was kidnapped by a couple of Stefano's hired hands. Stefano's plans to make himself out to be the hero who saves Shawn-D's life fell through when the boy escaped. Tension at the Brady house hit an all time high when Shawn-D's jacket showed up in the river. Bo couldn't accept the idea that his son had died, so he went out and searched. It was a good thing too, because Bo found Shawn-Douglas. He was in bad shape, but he was alive. After Hope made the transition to Gina, she sent Shawn-D to Westborough Academy boarding school to study. Now, a not so improved ‘Shawn’ has returned to Salem with a new look and new attitude. It is looking like Bo and Hope are going to have their hands full with their teenage son.
