The character of Dan is played by Greg Vaughn. He lived next door to the manor until he put his house up for sale in the season 2 finale. He was dating Piper for a while until she finally made up her mind and chose Leo. Dan was heart-broken for a while until he finally moved on when Piper wished for him to do so also in the season 2 finale. He is no longer on the show.
