(On a side-note, I’d like to say that I have never seen these awards, it has never been aired in Sweden. I don’t know too much about it. I don’t know if the awards are presented in some special order for instance. I’m not even sure how many nominees there are. But I have chosen it to be five. So if any other stuff are wrong, I hope you understand)
Bridget was so excited, she had decided not to think about her and Antonio for the evening since this would be a real adventure. She’d always thought it was something truly special to watch the awards on TV, but being there was amazing. All of the glory the awards stood for… She had many times thought of her life as some great storyline on any soap. She was thrilled to find that just around her many of her idols were seated. Since Paula was on “All my Children” of course there were many AMC actors sitting around. Marcy Walker, David Canary, Susan Lucci…
Paula had to admit she was also really excited. She had planned to attend the awards with Antonio, but thinking back Bridget was the perfect “date”. She knew how much this meant to her friend and she was really happy to be able to do this for her. These were her first awards too, but even though she herself was on a soap, she didn’t really feel like she fitted in really. After all, she had only been on for a year, many of the other actors had been on for 20 or more.
The first award to be presented was “Outstanding Female Villainess”. Up on stage, presenting the award were Lisa Rinna and Patrick Muldoon, both known from “Melrose Place” and daytime soap “Days of our Lives”.
Lisa Rinna: If you’re on a daytime show playing a really nice, loving character… what is the next step?
Patrick Muldoon: I guess… you go on to a prime-time show and play a really evil, scheming character.
Lisa Rinna: Yeah, I guess we’re pretty good examples of that, aren’t we?
Patrick Muldoon: You got that right.
Lisa Rinna: But, daytime TV sure has their villains too. Now, I’m not sure what their next step is, but knowing how much fun it is to play a villain, I’m pretty sure that they all would like to be titled as the worst of them all. For them being the worst at what they do, it’s just as important as it is for others to be the best at they do. Very philosophical, aren’t I? – laughing.
Patrick Muldoon: Here are the nominees for “Outstanding Female Villainess”…
And the nominees were:
Juliet Mills (Tabitha, Passions)
Beth Chamberlain (Beth, GL)
Arianne Zuker (Nicole, DAYS)
Maura West (Carly, ATWT)
Constance Towers (Helena, GH)
Lisa Rinna: And the award goes to… Juliet Mills!
The next award to be presented was “Outstanding Supporting Actor”. With Ben Masters of “Passions” winning the newest show had gotten to a really good start, winning two awards.
Meanwhile Paula was backstage getting ready to present the award for “Outstanding Supporting Actress”. It was one award that she herself could have been nominated for, it wasn’t exactly common that an actor who could have been nominated for that one category would present the award. With her presenting was co-star, .
Before Paula was going to present, it was time to present the award for “Favorite Couple”. Presenters were real-life couple Michael Sabatino and Crystal Chappell.
Michael Sabatino: A soap couple must really have great chemistry. Without that they’re nothing. After all, they are watched every day and if the chemistry isn’t there… it’s going to show.
Crystal Chappell: It’s also very important that they have a special shine, that reaches out to the viewers. It’s always very clear which actors that can make a good couple and which can’t.
Michael Sabatino: I can assure you that tonight’s nominees wouldn’t have gotten thus far if they didn’t have those qualities. The competition is always hard…
Crystal Chappell: Which makes it even more fun to win!
Michael Sabtino: That’s right. And the nominees for “Favorite Couple” are:
Michael Park and Maura West (Jack and Carly, ATWT)
Jay Kenneth Johnson & Nadia Bjorlin (Philip and Chloe, DAYS)
Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso (Bo and Hope, DAYS)p> Maurice Bernard & Sarah Brown (Sonny and Carly, GH)
Galen Gering & McKenzie Westmore (Luis & Sheridan, Passions)
Michael: And the award goes to…
Crystal Chappell: … Maurice Bernard and Sarah Brown!
It was Paula’s big moment. She wasn’t really nervous anymore, just excited. Bridget smiled a big smile when she saw her best friend entering the stage, by the arms of Eric Dearborn. None of the other actors looked as stunning as Paula, she thought. She was wearing a red, long dress with some glitter on, along with a schal (sorry if the spelling is completely inncorrect) in the same color. Her hair also looked better than ever, she had let it grow and it made her look both younger and more meteor. Paula and took place at the middle of the oval shaped stage and looked out at the audience.
Paula Stevens: The “Best Supporting Actress” category is very prestigious. It comes from knowing that there are so many of them.
Eric Dearborn: That’s very true. The so called “leading actresses” aren’t as many, which makes it almost a greater honor to be nominated.
Paula Stevens: I think so too. Tonight’s nominees have been nominated due to their acting skills of course…
Eric Dearborn: … and also for the wonderful support they give the other cast on screen.
Paula Stevens: It might not always be necessarily, but having it there is always nice.
Eric Dearborn: The nominees are…
Andrea Evans (Rebecca, Passions)
Catherine Hickland (Lindsay, OLTL)
Finola Hughes (Anna, GH)
Lauren Koslow (Kate, DAYS)
Sherri Saum (Keri, OLTL)
Paula Stevens: And the award goes to… Catherine Hickland!

Thorne waited nervously for someone to open the door. He had to talk to Brooke alone so that he could make her see how much she meant to him. They didn’t have to rush anything, they could start over. Just as long as he got to be with her. Francesca had fallen asleep on the couch inside after some hours of thinking about Antonio and Bridget. Also whom she should tell she got her memory back. The doorbell woke her up and she went to answer it. She was a little surprised to see Thorne there. She hadn’t seen him for a while.
Francesca: Thorne.
Thorne: Hi Teresa. Is Brooke home?
Francesca: No, she’s out to dinner with Antonio.
Thorne: I know. I saw them at the restaurant. But that was a while ago, she should have been home by now.
Francesca immediately jumped to the conclusion that Antonio had told Brooke about him and Bridget.
Francesca: Maybe she just needed some time alone.
Thorne: Why? Did something happen?
Francesca: I’m sure you must have seen how upset she became.
Thorne: Teresa, what are you talking about? “Upset”?
Francesca: You mean, she wasn’t sad when she left?
Thorne: A little. They played our song and I think it got to her.
Francesca: Oh…
Thorne looked intensely at the woman standing before him. There was something else going on here. And Teresa knew what it was.
Thorne: Teresa?
Francesca: Yes?
Thorne: What did were you just referring to?
Francesca: I just… thought that seeing you there at the restaurant might have made her feel a little uncomfortable.
Realizing how easy it came for her to lie, the Teresa inside of Francesca was shocked. Francesca turned her back on Thorne to sort of put herself together. She thought again about Antonio and Bridget, the image of Antonio telling her what he’d done was still in her head. He was a priest. No, he had been a priest. Just that made her feel sick, that he’d left the priesthood. She was no saint herself, but when she had made a commitment to something she would stand by it. If Philip hadn’t died, maybe she’d still be married to him. And then she remembered how she’d told him to tell Brooke tonight. Obviously, he hadn’t. That made her even more angry and disappointed. Telling Brooke herself was something she didn’t want to do, maybe Thorne could…
Francesca: Thorne, there’s something I have to tell you.
Megan was curled up in Giovanni’s arms, sitting in the sofa. She felt so safe in his arms, and confident as well. She should be able to get past her anger towards her mother, and earlier before going to dinner she had believed she’d be able to. But when she’d sat there at the table, being so happy that she and Julian had finally made progress and hearing her mother talking about the family being reunited it made her realize, that her mother didn’t realize they hadn’t worked it out. Reese just wanted Megan to forget the problems the two of them had had, and Megan couldn’t put up with it. She took Giovanni’s hand in hers and held it tight, letting him know how important his support was to him.
Megan: I’m sorry for how tonight turned out.
Giovanni: No… Tonight turned out really well. You and your brother have come a long way. And so will you and your mother.
Megan: I wouldn’t be too sure about that.
Giovanni: Are you sure you don’t want to tell me about what’s standing between you two.
Megan: Yes, I am. I’m sorry.
Giovanni: Don’t be. I respect your decision.
Megan: That’s the problem, Giovanni. It seems like you’re doing nothing but respect my decisions, dealing with my problems, listening to me going on and on about my family…
Giovanni: I love you.
Megan: I don’t deserve you.
Giovanni: You deserve better. You are an amazing woman.
Megan: And you’re an extraordinary man. I just think I’m getting too dependent on you. I don’t know what I’d do if I lost you.
Giovanni: You won’t loose me. Never.
Megan: I have never loved anyone the way I love you.
Giovanni: I never will love anyone the way I love you.
Quentin was lying in bed in his new room thinking about dinner. He was glad that Julian and Megan were starting to get past their difficulties, but he wondered what was going on between Megan and his mother. His thoughts were interrupted by the phone ringing.
Quentin: Hallo?
Kimberly: Did I wake you?
Quentin: Kimberly! – realizing he may have sounded a bit too happy about her call, talking a little calmer – No, you didn’t wake me. What’s up?
Kimberly: I just had to tell you, I had dinner with Jason tonight.
Quentin looked disappointed, he had hoped she’d called to tell him she’d had a great time at the beach and wanted to do it again sometime.
Quentin: You did? – was all he managed to say.
Kimberly: U-huh. Well, actually it was more like a family dinner. Jude and Macy were there too. But still, I think he likes me. He was looking at me all through dinner.
Quentin: That’s great… I’m happy for you.
Kimberly: Yeah, I know. Listen, I’ll let you get some sleep. I doubt I’ll get any though. Good night.
Quentin: Good night...
The minute he hang up he realized, there was no way he’d ever get Kimberly.
Thorne was driving around, looking for Brooke. When Teresa had told him about Antonio and Bridget his first thoughts had been that he’d kill Antonio. He had later realized that Brooke was going to need him. If he could just find her. He’d tried her cell-phone, and Antonio’s. He had no idea where to look for her, but he was determined to find her.
A hotelroom
Martin Gutherie came back from being to the grocery store. Sheila sent him everywhere these days, she didn´t want to risk getting cought. Martin had no idea what was going on with the plan to destroy the Forresters. He was curious about it. He had tried to get the truth out of his brother Mike, but he kept silent. Martin handed Mike the grocery´s. Mike took the paperbags and started unloading into the fridge. Martin took Sheila aside, trying to get her to talk.
Martin: Come on, Sheila. What do you have in your sleeve?
Sheila: Are you sure you wanna know, she smiled devilish.
Martin: I think I do.
Sheila: OK, but don´t you dare to back out of the plan. We need you to run the smaller errands for us.
Martin: I promise, he answered not knowing the plan was so evil.
Sheila: Here it goes. Last chanse to back out. You know, IF we were to get cought, it´s better for you if you never knew anything.
Martin: It´s better to know what´s going to happen than not knowing.
Sheila: Fine. I am brainwashing Stephanie.
Martin: WHAT? How?
Sheila: I don´t know how really. But it seems to be working. You see, I keep her from getting sleep. And the fact that she has trouble sleeping, gets to her mind. She have trouble concentrating, she is starting to get paranoid, and she will be a very easy target.
Martin: How do you know all this?
Sheila: Did you forget that I´m a nurse? To be a nurse, you have to study psychiatry. And I took some extra lessons in Kansas.
Martin: I know. I mean, how do you know that she is getting paranoid?
Sheila: That´s a good symptom. I tried it on myself. It worked after only two nights of not getting any sleep. Trust me, Stephanie Forrester is ready to be picked by now.
Martin: OK. So you are brainwashing her... What is your plan on that front?
Sheila: Well, first, I will have her make up to Brooke. That woman has suffered big time because of Stephanie. On my sessions with her, as her psychiatrist, I hypnotise her into being nice and friendly to Brooke, and in the meantime, feel like hell for all the putdowns and badmouthing she did to Brooke. I´m guessing that by now, Stephanie has fallen to her knees for forgiveness from Brooke. That´s stage one of my plan.
Martin: Nice to Brooke?
Sheila: Not just Brooke. She will for now on be friendly with all of her enemies. That include Morgan DeWitt, or Annie Douglas... And Sally Spectra among others. But she will not be so friendly with her love ones. And I´m talking about Eric and Ridge. The others around her have been hurt enough.
Martin: So she´ll be cruel to her husband and son... Isn´t that a bit... cruel?
Sheila: Stephanie IS cruel! And I have some unfinnished business with Eric and Ridge. This will take care of it.
Martin: OK... What else? I´m sure that´s not everything you plan?
Sheila: No, of course not. But I haven´t finnished planning yet. Some details are missing. You´ll know soon enough. Sheila smiled at him, very satisfied with herself. Martin chuckled. Sheila was sure evil. But she had a purpous, justice.
Forrester mansion
Felicia had left. Only Stephanie and Eric were home. She jawned. She knew she had to sleep, but somehow she couldn´t. Eric sat down on the sofa next to her, placing his arm around her. She backed away.
Eric: What´s wrong?
Stephanie: Nothing. I just don´t want you doting on me.
Eric: I wasn´t. I just want to hold you.
Stephanie: Don´t! I need to take a shower. I still smell hospital.
Eric: Ok. But I want to tell you something first. Our showing is this weekend. And we´re invited to the Spectra´s showing the day after.
Stephanie: Spectra´s?
Eric: Yes. Sally invited us.
Stephanie: That was sweet of her. I´d love to go.
Eric: Are you sure? You´ve never wanted to go before.
Stephanie: I´m sure.
Stephanie headed upstairs.
Eric: I love you, he shouted after her. She didn´t answer.
The hospital
Ava regained her conscious. She had an awful headache. She pushed the alarmbutton next to her bed. Nathan and Esther walked in. Ava sat up in bed, pretty groggy.
Ava: Hi...
Esther: Mommie! She rushed over to her and gave her a big hug.
Ava: Sweetie. Nathan? What are you doing here?
Nathan: Why do you think? You gave us a real scare.
Ava: I´m sorry for that.
Esther: Are you allright?
Ava: I think so.
A nurse walked inside.
Ava: May I get an asprin? My head is killing me.
The nurse left again.
Nathan: Nick and Grace are outside. Do you want me to call them in here?
Ava: Sure.
Nathan did as she wanted and Nick and Grace walked in, both hugging Ava.
Nick: We were so scared when the hospital called. Thank God you´re OK.
Ava: Yes, I´m OK. You don´t have to worry.
The family gathered by Ava.
Atlanta
Emma had finnished packing all her things. She and Will layed down on her bed after spending a few hours working.
Will: I can´t just lay like this. We have to do something. This is our last night.
Emma: What do you suggest?
Will: This room is depressing now, let´s go to my house.
Emma went out to her relatives and her parent´s and their friends and told them where she was going. Emma and Will left.
Annie´s house
Annie and Ben sat down with Benjy in his room.
Ben: We have something to tell you, Benjy.
Benjy looked at them for the news. Annie kept quiet. She let Ben tell him.
Ben: Annie and I are going to have a baby.
Benjy was sure surprised. He looked over at Annie and then back at Ben.
Ben: And we´re getting married. Next month.
Benjy was even more surprise. And somewhat disappointed.
Ben: How do you feel about that?
Benjy: That´s OK, I guess. He looked at Annie´s stomach. She didn´t show yet.
Annie: I know this is quick, we know that too.
Benjy: Congratulations.
Annie: Oh, thank you Benjy. She smiled at him. Ben did too.
Benjy: It it a boy?
Annie: We don´t know yet.
Benjy nodded. He tried his best to keep the disappointment hidden from them.
Will´s house in Atlanta
Emma and Will went up to the front door. Emma lookes suspisiously at Will who couldn´t stop smiling.
Emma: You have all my friend in there, right. Planning a surpriseparty?
Will: No...
Emma saw through him.
Emma: It almost worked. I am surprised now...
She opened the door. It was dark inside. She thought she might was wrong, but then the lights turned on and all her friends jumped out of everywhere and yelled SURPRISE! Emma laughed and tried her best to look surprised.
Emma: I knew I could count on you guys!
Denise: You can always count on us.
Emma: So, what do you have plan? Dare I ask?!
Melinda: No...
Billy: We´re having your favorite kind of party, of course.
Emma: Not a kareokeparty? She smiled of excitement. Her friends hated kareoke.
Will: That´s right. So hop into your blue suade shoes and get rocking!
Melinda and Billy turned on the kareokemachine they had hid behing the sofa. Philip handed her the microphone and dragged her to the small stage they had built before the sofa. LeAnn Rimes song Can´t fight the moonlight came on and Emma started singing. Everyone cheared.
Will: Something about that song... It fits her...
