Jen: (on Mark) He’s a unbelievably committed, he’s very quiet, very focused. I felt like, ya know, a better actor working with him

Chris: Anybody here honestly say that they’ve ever seen Bobby Beers wearing a jacket with red lapels (sp? Sorry, did the best I could to understand what he said)
Guys in the background: No / No Chris / Etc.
Guy: (played by (I think, not sure) one of the guys in Third Eye Blind) Hey, maybe you can make me some pants like his. Or did your girlfriend already rip out the seats in the dodge
Emily: Oh no, no, I can make you a pair of those. But first you gotta tell me what you shove in there to make people think you’re a guy (Chris kisses her on the cheek)
Guys in background: Whoa! / Etc.
Guy: Whoa, hey baby
Emily: Oh you need a couple of … (I didn’t understand what she said there, sorry!!!)
Guy: Wanna see how a real man
Chris: Hey, don’t touch her man!
(Chris & the guy start fighting)

Jen: (talking about the previous fighting scene) That was really funny, yeah. Well, cause they were arguing about ‘don’t pull on my cape!’ (laughs) (says this in a funny/weird voice) ‘Let go of my cape man!’ ‘Don’t touch my leather pants!’ That was really funny

Scene from Rock Star:
Emily: You gotta start writing your own songs
Chris: Why? I’m just another clown with a guitar trying to get someone to pay attention to me. No way
Emily: Do you remember that song you wrote for me on my 15th birthday?
Chris: No
Emily: I love that song

Jen: (on Emily) She’s strong. She can kind of…she can take care of herself as she does midway through the movie when she sort of sees what, where his life is taking him and knows when to step back and kind of gives him his space and pursue his dreams
Mark: (on Jen) Jennifer was fantastic. I mean, she felt the same way I did about the material, so ya know, we were in it for the same reasons, so it was nice
Brian Vander Ark: (on Jen) I’m watching Friends, and she wasn’t the one I’d look at and think ‘Wow, that’s sexy’ but she was incredibly sexy in Rock Star

Jen: (on Chris [Mark’s character]) He basically is swept up into the excitement of what’s happening. I mean he gets to be a star, a rock star. Everything that he’s dreamed about, everything that we’ve dreamed about together is now coming true. The only problem is I don’t fit into the picture, but a lot of other women do (kind of laughs – does this cheesy smile, but it’s funny and so sweet)

Guy: But you can travel with the wives, they’re very nice
Emily: Yeah, well, who are they (points to a group of women)
Guy: Oh, that’s Kirk’s astrologer and that’s his physical therapist (a women waves)

Jen: I just remember wearing so much black eyeliner that came up as high as that line, and taking a piece of tissue paper or a piece of paper so they can get my perfect line, ya know, up. God it was bad

Jen: It was just this party atmosphere all the time even, um, ya know cause you had actors pretending to be rock ‘n’ rollers, and rock ‘n’ rollers being actors and it was just this fun energy

Jen: I felt like if I had missed out on any wild part in my life I had had it

Jen: (on Mark) He just transformed himself. There wasn’t a hip=hop moment in him. He was sexy, heavy metal, rocker guy

Jen: I have that secret, ya know, that quiet love of hair bands. I guess we all do that guilty pleasure

Jen: It was fun, and we got to go and Mark performed, and Jason performed and they did it in front of I don’t know how many people
