[On ‘Rock Star’]

Jen: Rock & Roll is sort of a different world then acting. You can perpetuate that fantasy, that myth. It can become reality, ya know.

[On Music]

Jen: Oh yeah, I’ve always been a fan of all kinds of music, an I definitely had my guilty pleasures.

Jen: I was very much alone in my love for heavy metal, I have to tell you. That was almost like my secret, me and my brother.

[On The 80s]

Jen: No, I wanted to look better than I did in the 80s. So, I didn’t pull any of those out, [pictures of her from the 80s] leave those in the shoebox. Um, yeah, oh I had some… unfortunate decade for me.

[On “Idols”]

Jen: Oh gosh, Gregory Peck, I almost fell over. That was pretty amazing. Muhammad Ali. Jane Fonda, pretty amazing. Carol Burnett. I’ve had many star struck moments, yeah.

[On Wives of Rock Stars]

Jen: I admire anybody who’s been able to do it. Especially if you’re having a taste of this life, I mean, even though it’s just a movie, you definitely feel like ‘Okay!’ I feel like I’ve had a taste of the wilder side of life, and I wanna go home with my dog and my man and just be normal.

[On what’s Real]

Jen: Well, you have to know what’s real, I think, first of all and um, I mean there’s always that moment of going ‘Whoa! This is wild’ and I don’t know, I’ve always just kind of had my wits about me, about knowing what’s up, this is all a big fantasy and it’s all created, all a big hoopla, it’s not as glamorous, God knows, once you become a part of it, as people make it out to be

[On being Musical]

Jen: Guitar lessons, yeah. Haven’t started. But planning on it and will do. I want very much to be musical. At least for my kids sake, I don’t know. But I would like to do something musical. [laughs] So, until then, I will play one on TV
