The
Tabloids: Britney Blows Up! |
Britney
Spears recently blew up on the set of "The Rutlanders," screaming
obsenities
at several castmates and vowing never to return to the set! The
incident
started innocently enough- castmate Lucinda Lane, who plays Liz,
suggest
they re-do a scene because Spears slurred a line half way through. She
did not take the suggest kindly, according to set insiders. Instead of
being a professional and just re-filming the scene, she flew into a
rage.
Her first target was "attackee" Lane, who stood by in horror as Spears
called her a "dirty whore" and basically confirmed rumours that Lane
and
one screen hubby Fransisco Kahlo were having an affair. Spears
screamed,
"Who are you to tell me what to do when you can't even juggle two
men,"- referring to Lane's husband who she cheated on with Kahlo. But
the
attack did not stop there. When on-screen brother Doug MacRae stepped
in
and told Spears to calm down, she called him "stupid" and said he'd be
more suited to serving fries at McDonald's. "Somebodies not gonna get
an
emmy nomination," she wailed.
This recent blow up was only the latest in a long line for Spears on the set of "The Rutlanders." The singer/actress has been under increasing pressure lately, and even moreso now that her new CD will be released the same week as Christina Aguilera's. On top of that, Spears recently finished filming the movie "Daddy, No," and her new show, tentatively titled "The Doctor's Wife," is going under massive retooling. Though no episodes have yet been filmed, when series creator Doug Bush read the first script, he was "very disappointed," according to a close friend. Not only that, be he is unsure that Spears will be able to hold a series on her own. He's currently trying to find the right miz of co-stars to help off-set what Spears doesn't bring to the party. As for Spears, she's still saying that she will not return to "The Rutlander"s set. With only one episode left to tape to finish up the season, things seem to be in a deadlock.
