"Buffy, where are you?" Angel called, as he walked into the living room of their small apartment.

The sight that greeted him melted his heart; Buffy was lying on the couch with their six-month-old daughter lying across her chest, sleeping peacefully. As he looked at them he wondered how he had been lucky enough to have them both in his life. He tried to Pick Izzy up without waking Buffy it unfortunately backfired.

"Hey" she greeted him, "I was trying to get Izzy to sleep and I guess I dozed off too".

Angel leaned down and kissed her lovingly, then he said to her "I'll put Izzy in her crib. When I come back out we have to talk". He walked off to Izzy's room leaving a puzzled Buffy behind. Angel gently laid her down in her crib, as not to wake her and kissed her softly on the head and then returned to the living room.

Buffy looked at him as he came back in, she realized that whatever he wanted to tell her was difficult for him to say. She clasped his hand, looked into his eyes and said, "Whatever it is you can tell me".

"I think we should go back to Sunnydale," he said. With that simple statement, a bunch of unpleasant memories came flooding back...

~ It had been four years since they had left Sunnydale together, to start a new life. It all had started however towards the end of Buffy's senior year at UC Sunnydale, the end of days had occurred and in order to survive Buffy and Angel had, had to put aside their differences and ban together. When they had prevented a new master from rising and taking control of the world, The Powers That Be rewarded Angel with his humanity. So with the Hellmouth closed and Angel human, they finally had the chance to be together. However when Buffy told Giles and Joyce, they had forbade Buffy from being with Angel, afraid of the outcome. But since Buffy was not about to give up her one chance to be with Angel, they ran away together without telling anyone. They eventually arrived in Paris and were married in a small ceremony, they had never been happier, until three years later when they were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Isabel Hanna. ~

She snapped out of her reverie and said to him "Angel, we have it so good here. Why do you want to go back there?"

Angel saw that Buffy was on the verge of tears, and told her his reason in his most gentle voice "I know babe. But now we have Izzy, I think it's time that we stopped running". He reached out and lightly brushed away the tears that had fallen, and then he kissed her and pulled her into his arms.

After a few minutes, Buffy asked "Do you think they'll still be mad at us, you know for leaving the way we did?"

"I'd like to think that they'll have understood why we did that by now" Angel said, as he and Buffy just sat there holding each other.

The next morning Buffy awoke to find Angel trailing his finger across her lips, she grabbed his finger with her teeth and sucked on it gently, Angel pulled his finger from her mouth and kissed her passionately. Things were really starting to heat up when Izzy started to cry. Buffy quickly got up and pulled on her robe, as she looked back to the bed where Angel was laying with a hurt puppy dog look on his face.

Buffy laughed and said "Ahh...The joys of parenthood".

She walked into Izzy's room and over to the crib, she reached down and picked up her crying daughter, just holding her until she quieted down. She cleaned Izzy up and then took her into the bedroom to visit with Angel, while she went to fix Izzy's bottle. When Buffy came back, she heard Angel whispering stories about a Princess who fought evil and always won to Izzy, not wanting to disturb them she tiptoed to the bed. She handed Angel, Izzy's bottle and climbed back into bed with them. Watching Angel and Izzy together was making her think about her mom and her friends were missing out on. Plus now she was a mother herself, Buffy could appreciate how Joyce must have felt when they left.

That's when she made her decision, "Angel" she said "Let's go to Sunnydale".

A couple of weeks later, Buffy was finishing up he packing, when Angel walked into the room. She didn't even notice him come in because she was thinking about how hard it was going to be going back, they had been gone so long and returning was just going to re-open all the old wounds, that were probably best left alone. So she was shocked when Angel came up behind her and kissed her neck.

"Did you get the tickets?" she asked and when she felt him nod, "How long are we going for?"

"I got open ended tickets, so we can come home anytime we choose", he told her, kissing her neck again and gently turning her around to face him. "So is Izzy still asleep?" he asked her with a mischievous look in his eyes.

"Yeah. What did you have in mind?" she asked, as she pressed her body even closer to his.

"I think you know what I have in mind," he said, as he pushed her down on the bed, devouring her lips before she could utter another word.

Buffy was woken a couple of hours later by Izzy's cry. She got up and collected her daughter before going to get a bottle. Buffy went into the living room and sat on the couch to feed Izzy, a task she'd never thought she'd ever do. Since she was sixteen and began dating Angel, she'd never actually thought he'd be human again, so she'd put the thought of children out of mind. With Riley she'd briefly re-thought the issue, but the thought of passing on those genes was just too disgusting to even contemplate, so once again she put the thought of motherhood away. Buffy was startled when Angel, kissed her on the cheek.

"When did you wake up?" she asked.

"A while ago, I was just watching my two favorite girls," he said, playing with Izzy's toes. "So what were you thinking about?"

"I was just thinking that I can survive anything with you by my side" she said, as she passed Izzy to Angel.

Angel shifted his daughter to his other arm and pulled Buffy close with his other. He sat there holding both of his girls; he silently prayed that everything would be all right.

The next day they arrived at the airport with plenty of time to spare, so they checked out the airport shops. When they finally boarded the plane, they entered first class and settled down for the long flight ahead. Once they were in the air, Buffy dozed off and dreamt of her last days in Sunnydale.

~ Buffy stood in Giles' apartment having just told him and her mother that she and Angel were engaged. "You and Angel can't be together. Remember the consequences" Giles told her.

Before Buffy could reply to that, her mother said, "Mr. Giles is right. What kind of life can you have with a vampire". Joyce was desperately trying to get Buffy to do, as she wanted.

"Mom, why can't you except that I am never going to have a normal life" Buffy told Joyce for the bazillionth time. "He is the only one who truly knows who I am and he'll always be there for me no matter how badly I screw up. Besides he's not a vampire anymore, the PTB gave him back his humanity, with vampiric strength". When there was no reaction to her speech, she said "I love him and there is nothing either of you can do to change that".

However Giles didn't agree with her last statement. "Buffy, don't forget you are still the slayer. You have a sacred duty".

Since they didn't seem to be getting through to her, Joyce said, "Let's sleep on this and discuss it some more tomorrow".

Buffy left Giles' place and headed back to the dorm, when she arrived she called Angel.

~Ring, Ring~

"Hello" said a sleepy voice.

"Angel I want to leave"

"What happened?" he asked her, suddenly very awake.

"They told me never to see you ever again" Buffy wailed hysterically.

"Are you sure you want to leave?"

"Yeah, as soon as possible" Buffy told him.

"All right, I'll be there soon...I love you".

"I love you too" Buffy said, as she hung up.

She quickly set about packing everything she wanted to take with her, clothes, toiletries, Mr Gordo and lastly photos of her mom, Giles and the gang. When she was done she sat down at the desk and wrote a note for her mom and the gang.

Dear Everyone,

I know how you feel about Angel, both in general and about us being together, you've all made that perfectly clear. However Angel and I are in love, and finally have a chance to really be together, we're leaving. Please don't look for us; I need a chance to live my own life for a change. I can't live without him again; the last four years have been the worst. If it's any consolation, I never meant to hurt any of you.

Love Buffy ~

Buffy awoke with a jerk, when her eyes opened it took her a minute to remember where she was. She looked over to the seat next to hers and saw Angel asleep with Izzy in his arms, when she saw everything was all right she was able to settle down again.

Many hours later when they'd finally arrived in LA, they got a hotel room and slept away their jet lag. Eventually Izzy woke up and started to fuss, Angel seeing how exhausted Buffy was, got up to see to the baby. When Buffy woke up, she found an empty bed and when she started to panic, she heard baby giggles coming from the living area. She got up and headed to the doorway, where she stood watching Angel and Izzy play. Angel looked up to the doorway and saw Buffy watching them.

"Hey" he said, excitedly "You've gotta see this".

He put Izzy down on the floor, where she climbed up on her hands and knees and started to crawl to Buffy. When she got near, Buffy scooped her up and said, "Wow, when did she learn to do that? I can't believe I missed it".

She put Izzy back down and watched her crawl around the room.

"Hey, it's okay. She just learnt it like 5 minutes ago" Angel said, getting up and hugging Buffy.

They watched their daughter explore her newfound skill and then took turns watching her while they each got ready. After breakfast they left for Sunnydale.

It took them almost two hours to get there, but it seemed like minutes to Buffy, before she knew it she was staring at the Welcome to Sunnydale sign. They firstly checked into a hotel, so they could unwind before facing the gang.

All of a sudden Buffy said, "I can't do this. It's too stressful".

Angel put his hand on her shoulder and said, "It's okay. We'll take it one person at a time. Today we'll see your mom and then we'll worry about the others."

Buffy nodded and picked up Izzy, and then they headed to the car to go see Joyce. They pulled into the driveway of Buffy's old house, hoping that Joyce was still residing there. Angel got out and grabbed Izzy, he grasped Buffy's hand and they climbed onto the porch. Buffy rang the doorbell, and they heard footsteps. After what seemed like an eternity the door opened, and they heard Joyce gasp.

Joyce could hardly believe her eyes, Buffy was standing in front of her, she had been dreaming of this moment for four years.

"Hi mom" Buffy said, uncertainly.

"Buffy, oh my god" Joyce said, reaching out and hugging her daughter, "I missed you so much".

"I missed you too" Buffy replied, returning her mother's hug.

When Joyce finally let go of Buffy, she focused her attention on Angel, who was standing back allowing Buffy and Joyce to reunite without interference. "Hello Angel" Joyce said, attempting to be civil.

"Mrs. Summers" Angel acknowledged the older woman's attempt.

Buffy turned to Angel and took something from his arms, she turned back to face her mom and said, "Mom, I'd like you to meet your granddaughter, Isabel Hanna McKellen".

Joyce stood there speechless, staring at the bundle of joy Buffy held in her arms. She snapped out of it and said, "Please come in".

They entered the house and sat down in the living room in silence, which was broken by Buffy who asked her mother, "Would you like to hold her?"

"I'd love to" Joyce replied, as Buffy handed her Izzy to hold.

They sat like that until the front door opening disrupted them. Giles entered his living room to find the two people he'd thought he'd never see again, sitting there with his wife.

"Buffy?" he questioned.

"Hey Giles" Buffy replied, softly.

Giles walked towards her and hugged her, relieved that she was okay. "Welcome home" he said and turned to say something to Joyce, when he noticed his wife was holding a baby. "Who is that?" he asked, confused.

Joyce answered, "Rupert, meet Isabel Hanna. Our granddaughter".

At Joyce's use of the word 'our' Buffy and Angel looked at each other and then at Joyce and Giles. "What do you mean 'our'?" Angel asked.

"Joyce and I married two years ago" Giles answered. Then he said to them "Congratulations on your daughter".

"Thanks Giles" Buffy said, giving him a quick hug, "By the way congratulations to you and mom".

Giles sat down with them and asked, "So where have you been?"

Buffy and Angel told them everything that had happened to them over the past four years. By the time they'd finished, Izzy was getting fussy, so they left Giles and Joyce and headed back to the hotel. They managed to feed and change Izzy before they crawled into the bed and fell into a deep sleep.

A few days later Buffy, Izzy and Joyce, left the men at home and headed out for a female bonding trip. They headed straight to the mall, as shopping is the most common of all female bonding activities. Once they'd arrived, Joyce began to drag them into the first baby store she came across, determined to spoil her granddaughter. They were so preoccupied looking at stuff and talking that they didn't see the store's latest customers enter, they were led by Cordy, followed by Willow, Tara and an extremely pregnant Anya. Neither group seemed to notice the other until Buffy and Willow reached for the same toy.

"Excuse Me," they both said, then they got a look at each other.

"Buffy?" Willow asked, surprised.

"Willow" Buffy said, happily.

Willow stared at Buffy for a few seconds and then said, sarcastically "Well look who is back. After all these years I would've liked to think, that I at least would've rated a phone call".

"Willow, I...." Buffy began to say but was cut off.

"Save it, Buffy. If you'd actually ever thought of or cared about anyone but yourself, you wouldn't have left the way you did," Willow said, turning and walking away from Buffy.

Just then Joyce walked up, carrying Izzy and said, "Was that Willow? I bet you surprised her".

"Actually, she surprised me" Buffy said, sadly.

Desperate to cheer Buffy up, Joyce said, "Let's go check out the other stores".

"Sure" Buffy answered, unenthusiastically.

They wandered around for hours, while Joyce bought everything in sight for Izzy and then they headed for the food court for lunch. They had gotten their food and sat down to eat, when a conversation from a nearby table floated across to them.

"Do you believe, Buffy? She actually had the nerve to show up here again," Willow said.

"She can't have Xander" Anya stated.

"She doesn't want Xander, she never wanted Xander, you vapid twit" Cordy said, "She wanted Angel and didn't care who she screwed over to get him. I mean when she took off with him, Wesley and I both lost our jobs. Some friend she was".

"Maybe sh-she did what she thought wa-was necessary" a soft voice piped up.

"Tara, don't defend her," Willow said, angrily.

Joyce couldn't take it anymore, she picked up her soda and walked over to their table, when she got there she threw it all over Cordy and Willow. She calmly walked back to her table, picked up Izzy and said, "Let's go".

As they left the food court, Buffy looked at her mother in awe and told her "Way to go mom".

When they arrived back at Joyce's, they found Angel and Giles in the living room talking to Wesley. "Hello Buffy. Welcome home" he told her sincerely.

"Thanks Wes" she said, shifting Izzy from one arm to the other, "I'll be back after I put Izzy down for her nap".

As she left the room she heard Angel ask, "So how was shopping?"

Joyce made sure that Buffy was out of earshot before telling Wesley, what his wife and Willow had been saying.

When she'd finished her story, Wesley said "Bravo Joyce. Cordelia needs to be taught a few lessons. She knows better than to treat anyone the way she treated Buffy".

"I'd better go and make sure Buffy's ok" Angel said, getting up and leaving the room.

He walked upstairs and into her old room. She was sitting there on the bed, holding Izzy and crying. He sat beside her on the bed and pulled both of his girls into his arms, then he gently asked "Was it what Cordy said about you?"

She sobbed a little more into his arms, before she said, "It wasn't Cordy, it was Willow".

"I would've thought she'd have been glad to see you"

"Me too. Unfortunately she was acting like an evil witch. Do you know she even reprimanded Tara for defending me" Buffy told him.

"Sounds like she's really changed" Angel commented.

"Maybe it's my fault... maybe I did this to her" Buffy said, suddenly.

"What?"

"Maybe when I ran off, I somehow caused her to change like this" Buffy explained.

Angel held her even tighter and said, "Don't even think that. The way Willow behaves is not anyone's choice but her own and if she doesn't want you in her life then, it's her loss".

Buffy leaned into Angel's embrace and said, "I don't know what I'd do without you. You always make me feel better, no matter what the problem".

"Ditto" he said, kissing her softly.

A little while later they came back downstairs, and caught up with Wesley until he went home. After he left Buffy and Joyce made dinner, while Angel and Giles took care of Izzy.

Meanwhile across town, Wesley arrived home to find his home filled with Cordy's friends. Cordy, Willow, Tara, Xander, Anya and Spike were sitting in the living room watching Passions.

He stood in the doorway and said, "I'd never would have believed that a bunch of adults could act so childishly".

Xander answered his comment by saying, "What did I do now?"

"Not you. Cordelia and Willow"

"What did we do?" Cordy asked her husband.

"Buffy" was all he said, immediately Cordy and the others turned bright red with embarrassment.

"What about Buffy" Xander asked, curiously.

"She and Angel are back".

"Cool, Fluffy and Peaches have returned... I gotta go people," Spike said, leaving quickly.

Everyone ignored Spike and Xander turned to the group and he said, "What did you do to her?"

"Nothing much" Cordy whispered.

"Tara and I did nothing to Buffy" Anya said, "It was all Cordy and Willow".

"Snitch" Willow said to Anya.

"I repeat, what did you do?" Xander said in a more authoritative voice.

"We may have said a few things" Cordy said, "But Joyce attacked us".

"What?"

Wesley answered before Cordy could, "She threw a soda over Cordelia and Willow, to stop them gossiping spitefully about Buffy".

"Oh, so they deserved it" Xander replied, "Come on Anya, let's go home. Tara, Wes I feel sorry for you two". Xander shot dirty looks at Cordy and Willow as he and Anya left.

"Willow" Tara said, "I think it's time to go".

"Sure, see you guys" Willow said, not phased by Xander's sanction.

"Bye" Tara said to them.

Once they were alone, Wesley said, "You are going to apologise to Buffy".

"Nope, I'm not and you can't make me" Cordy replied, childishly.

Wesley looked at her and said, "Sometimes, I seriously wonder why I married you", and then he walked silently from the room.

Spike was wandering around the outside of the Giles household, trying to see if Peaches and the Slayer were really back or whether Wesley was getting him back for the dead rat on his pillow case. He couldn't see anything but decided to wait anyway, about ten minutes later the front door opened and when Angel appeared Spike decide to annoy him by running up, throwing his arms around Angel's neck and saying "Daddy".

Angel couldn't believe this was actually happening, Spike was hugging him; it was his worst nightmares come true. He had to put a stop to it, so he said "Spike, get off me, you Billy Idol wanna-be".

"Daddy, don't tell me you don't love me no more" Spike said, with a hurt look on his face.

"Oh man, you spent way too many years with Dru" Angel told him.

Spike chose to ignore and looked over to where Buffy was stood holding a bundle. "Mommy" he said, holding his arms open wide.

Buffy burst out laughing and said, "Spike you are *so* mental".

Just then Izzy started to fuss, which of course drew Spike over to Buffy. When he saw Izzy, he said, "Cool. I have a little sister". Then he said to Izzy, "Hi little one, I'm your big brother Spikey".

This totally cheesed Angel off, who yelled, "You are not her brother".

"Yes I am. Tell him mom" Spike said, enjoying himself immensely by taunting Peaches.

"Well..." Buffy said, trying not to laugh, "you did sire him".

"What?" Angel said, indignantly.

With that everyone burst out laughing. "You are too easy" Spike told him, slapping him on the back.

"Oh, ha-ha" Angel said, unhappily.

Buffy walked over to him and gave him a quick hug and told him "Don't worry, its just Spike's personality".

"Okay" Angel said, giving her a quick kiss.

Spike looked at the kid and asked, "What's 'er name?"

"Isabel" Angel replied, tensely.

"Nice, but Willamina would've been better" Spike informed them.

A few minutes later Spike departed, it wasn't much fun to be around Peaches when he wasn't falling for a trick. Buffy and Angel departed for the hotel soon after, promising to come back the next day.

The next morning Cordy came downstairs and looked at Wesley, he was sitting at the table drinking his morning cup of tea.

"Good Morning" she said, with a cheerfulness she didn't feel. Wesley, still mad, ignored her by picking up the newspaper to read. She sat down across from him and said, "What did I really do? I mean Buffy's running off with him was the reason we lost our jobs." She was desperate to justify her spitefulness.

"Cordelia" he answered, suddenly realising why his wife was so bitter towards Buffy. "It was Angel's decision to leave with Buffy, he wouldn't have gone if he hadn't wanted to".

"I know" she admitted, "but it was easier to blame Buffy for it, than it was to think that he chose her over us".

Wesley got up and walked around the table to where she was sitting and kissed her. "Do you know why I married you?" he asked her.

"I truly have no idea" she replied.

"Because I love and adore you," he told her.

"Even if I'm a childish, vindictive person?" she asked, jokingly.

"Especially because" he said, kissing her as he led her back towards the bedroom.

When Joyce answered her door, instead of finding a happy family, she found Buffy in tears and holding Izzy as though her life depended on it.

"What's wrong?" Joyce asked her daughter.

"Angel and I had a fight," Buffy said, between hiccups.

Joyce ushered them inside and sent Giles to bring in their bags. When Buffy had calmed down, Joyce said, "Why don't you tell me what happened?"

"Well...I was commenting on how nice it was to be back and spend time with you and Giles. Then I said maybe we could stick around for a while, and Angel asked how long I had in mind". Buffy paused for moment to catch her breath before continuing, "The I told him permanently and so he started to go on and on about our responsibilities back there and his job. So I told him maybe he should go back alone and live with his responsibilities".

Joyce looked at Buffy and was about to say something, when she thought better of it. Buffy was grown up now and had to make her own choices and decisions.

Buffy sat there and said "It was my fault, I can't believe I said that to him". She was about to burst into tears when there was a knock at the door.

Giles answered the door to find Cordy, Willow and Xander there. He was about to tell them to go away, when Cordy said, "We're here to apologise to Buffy".

He let them in and they walked into the living room, they surrounded Buffy. Joyce was about to intervene when Giles said, "Let them work it out".

Buffy looked up at them and was surprised when Cordy and Willow said, "We're sorry".

The girls hugged and Xander feeling left out said "What about me?"

They opened up the hug and let him in. Everyone sat down, as Giles and Joyce left them alone. "So Buffy tell us all about Paris?" Cordy asked her.

Buffy proceeded to tell them about all that had happened, the wedding and Izzy's birth. When she had finished, everyone was staring, "What?" she asked.

"Wow" Willow said, "Sure beats out what I've been doing".

"What's that Wils?" Buffy asked her.

"Well first off I want to say sorry again, I was mad that you only left a note addressed to everyone and I guess I thought I should've rated a personal goodbye".

"It's okay, I totally understand" Buffy said.

"Okay, my life. I'm a computer teacher at Sunnydale High, Tara and I are still together and oh yeah...I'm having an affair with Oz"

"What?" Buffy, Cordy and Xander yelled.

"Oz and I are sleeping together. He's a teacher, I'm a teacher, we stay after school a lot...."

"Willow Rosenberg, I think I'm shocked" Buffy said.

"Your shocked, I live in the same town as her and didn't realise" Cordy said, grumpily.

"Who's next?" Buffy asked, trying to change the subject.

"Me, me" Xander said, putting his hand up like a first grader.

"Okay Xan, calm down before you strain something" Buffy replied.

"Well, I married Anya, and then two weeks ago I walked into the house to find her and Spike..." he trailed off, making everyone wonder what he was going to say. "They were...watching Passions", he burst out laughing at the looks on their faces. "What you thought they were sleeping together?" Xander asked.

"Of course not Xander, they got that out of their systems when we were at college" Buffy told him.

With that statement Xander paled and sat there silently, while Cordy said "My turn". All eyes turned to Cordy who said, "Married Wesley and moved back here".

"That's it?" Buffy asked.

"Okay, even though I love Wesley. I still love Doyle more" Cordy said, nearly in tears.

"Who's Doyle?" Willow and Xander asked.

"He was Angel's friend who died, remember" Buffy explained.

"Oh" they said.

"It's okay, Cordy" Buffy said.

"Sure it is" Cordy said, her perfect mask falling back into place.

They spent the next few hours catching up and as evening fell, they decided to go to the Bronze. Buffy really wanted to go with her friends but felt she had to stay with Izzy.

"Go on Buffy. Rupert and I will watch her," Joyce said.

"Thanks mom" Buffy said, as she and her friends walked out the door.

At the hotel, Angel was sitting on the bed rehashing the silly fight he and Buffy had, had. He thought, as there was a knock on the door; he opened it expecting to find Buffy and Izzy. Instead he found Spike.

"Howdy Peaches," he said.

"Spike".

"So where is Fluffy and *my* Izzy?"

"She isn't your Izzy and they aren't here," Angel told him, angrily.

"So did she finally come to her senses and leave your sorry butt?" Spike asked, sarcastically. When he saw Angel's face fall, he said "Sorry man, come out with me and have some fun. Kinda like the old days, except without the killing".

Angel debated this and finally said "Sure, why not".

They headed to the Bronze, where he saw her sitting at a table with the gang, and before he even realised it he was headed for their table. On his way there, Buffy's favourite song started to play.

//When the visions around you

Bring tears to your eyes

And all that surround you

Are secrets and lies//

Buffy saw him approach, she couldn't believe how good he looked to her. She knew she should meet him halfway but instead she sat there waiting for him to arrive.

//I'll be your strength I'll give you hope

Keeping your faith when it's gone

This one you should call

Was standing here all along//

He arrived at the table and said to Buffy, "I'm sorry".

//And I will take you in my arms

And hold you right where you belong '

Til the day my life is through

This I promise you

This I promise you//

Buffy looked right at him and said "I'm sorry too".

He held out his hand to her and asked, "Dance with me?"

"You don't dance".

"How hard could it be for me to put my arms around you and sway to the music" With that, she took his hand and they headed out onto the dance floor.

//I've loved you forever

In lifetimes before

And I promise you never

Will you hurt anymore //

//I give you my word I give you my heart

This is a battle we've won

And with this vow

Forever has now begun//

They held each other close as the music played on.

//Just close your eyes

Each lovin' day

And know that this feeling won't go away

'Til the day my life is through

This I promise you

This I promise you //

//Over and over I fall

When I hear you call

Without you in my life, baby

I just wouldn't be living at all//

//And I will take you in my arms

And hold you right where you belong '

Til the day my life is through

This I promise you, baby//

//Just close your eyes

Each lovin' day

And know that this feeling won't go away

Every word I say is true

This I promise you

I promise you//

When the song ended they headed back to the table and said their goodbyes. They arrived back at the hotel and Buffy rang Joyce about keeping Izzy overnight. When Joyce agreed, Buffy and Angel did some serious making up.

Six Weeks Later...

Buffy and Angel had just finished unpacking the rest of their things, when everyone arrived. Joyce immediately grabbed Izzy and Buffy gave the grand tour of their new house.

"This is so cool Buff" Xander said, taking his newborn son away from Anya. "And I think Jake here thinks so too" he said, when the baby giggled.

They all sat down and Cordy asked them "Why did you buy such a big house for the three of you?"

Buffy smiled at Angel and then said, "Because in seven and a half months they'll be four of us".

"You mean..." Joyce began.

"Yep. We're pregnant"

The End.
