Feedback: Yeah! I would love it! Please don't flame though, I'm fragile.
Comments: Not one of my better efforts, but I suppose passable. My mind, unfortunately, is on other things at the moment.
My eyes are drawn to herirresistibly, irrevocably. They devour her.
Every move she makes, my eyes follow, helpless against the sirens call she unknowingly emanates.
Every breath she takes, my chest rises and falls with hers, deeply in tuned with she who is my angel on Earth.
I love being in love.
The sky seems bluer, the air crisper. Twirling leaves dancing in the breeze lifts your spirits to incredible heights, the world seems to be smiling.
Not at you, but with you.
School is now something to be rushed through, sleep just an obstacle. They keep me from her and since the day we trusted each other implicitly, I swore to myself that I would let nothing separate us.
And I havent.
I defied the unladylike snorts of my sister as I race out the door shouting that I was going out. I ignored the droll looks of Michael as he watches me change my shirt to go to just another dinner with a friend.
I know Im not fooling anybody. But I dont care.
See this face? See the lovesick grin? This is the face of a man who no longer cares.
Let the mother ship drop down from the sky. Let the FBI chase us until they run out of places to look.
Im not going to be scared any more.
Im going to grab onto life with both hands and enjoy it while it lastsAfter all, time is so fleeting.
Ive made the decision
My life truly begins.it begins right now.
I stand from the booth in which I was sitting and stride over to the counter. She turned away from the soda machine and greeted me with a wonderful smile.
Max? she queried.
I lean across the counter and gently grasp her arms, pulling her towards me.
She barely got time to let out a startled squeak before my mouth covered hers.after that, nothing else mattered.
I could have continued kissing her all day, if it werent for a clearing of a throatI draw back and met Jeff Parkers dancing eyes.
I let Liz regain her feet as I stood straight.
Sir, I said, nervous yet trying not to sound it. I would like to take your daughter out.
Mr Parker looked thoughtful, a teasing glint in his eyes. Well he said, slowly.
Dad! Liz said warningly. She looked at me, warm brown eyes glistening in the light. Id love to, max.
We both smiled at each other. Tonight, I murmured hopefully.
Tonight, she nodded.
I grin and start walking backwards, my eyes never leaving hers. See you then! I call at the door, turning and stepping outside.
The sky was blue.
The leaves were dancing.
The world was smiling.
And I had a date with my love.
Everything was perfect.
The End
